I visited Dr. Shakeel today for a cleaning and a consultation. His hygienist Eileen was awesome my mouth has never felt so clean. Both were so friendly and professional. A great experience for both myself and my two boys. The hygienists both did a great job with our cleanings and exams. Stacy cleaned my teeth and was very thorough and friendly. Dr. Shakeel and his assistant were very professional and did a wonderful painless job on my procedure. His assistant Julie was very attentive and gave me very detailed post treatment instructions. Vicki at the front desk was very helpful getting my paperwork all in order and setting up a follow up appointment. A great experience all around, I highly recommend Signature Dental.
I love Signature Dental! Just went in to get a filling fixed and my temp crown on. The staff is always super friendly and Dr always makes me feel comfortable and less anxious, even through out the whole process of any procedure! Highly recommend them! Always a very good experience.
Dr. Shakeel is the best dentist I have ever had. He does excellent work, he does it quickly and painlessly. He will complete as much as possible in one visit and not make you come back multiple times. On top of all that he is so nice! I also must say that the office manager, Vickie, (I believe she is the manager ) is wonderful .

Dr Shakeel is a highly skilled professional and gentle. I had recently wisdom teeth surgery and it was very complicated because the teeth was close to the nerve. I visited other dentist before coming to signature dental group and they refused to do surgery. But Dr Shakeel did successful surgery and I had an awesome painless experience. He explained everything to me, and took the time to answer any questions. He has terrific credentials and really cares about his patients. And also Dr Julie is so helpful and polite.I am looking forward to my next appointment

Love the staff and dentistry services provided to us. They are professional, kind, answer all your questions, do not rush, and are very good with children and adults that may have a fear of being in the chair. Highly recommended!!!
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! The dental assistance was so great. I told her how sensitive my teeth were and she related to me and throughout the whole appointment, made she I was comfortable and if she hit a sensitive tooth, she cleaned it but did it without it hurting! She then filled in the dentist so he was aware. Very helpful and so nice I would recommend to anyone in the area!
My experience with Dr. Shakeel and his associates has been nothing but painless and positive! I had some work done on my teeth today and everything went smoothly. I am usually afraid of the dentist but ever since choosing this practice I have looked forward to my routine exams. Who knew going to the dentist was supposed to be an enjoyable experience? My familys been with Dr Shakeel for a few years, and were very pleased. Im always amazed at how quick and painless he is. And he works with you to find the best solution to your needs. He and the staff are all very pleasant and professional.
After I moved away over a year ago, I didnt want to change dentists because Signature Dental has been so great. Now I drive an hour just to get my teeth cleaned every month but the doctor and entire staff are great! Always friendly and helpful (even when Ive had to reschedule appointments with just a few days notice). I truly enjoy going to the dentist every six months!
Can not recommend Dr. Shakeel enough. I was a dental assistant of his for two years so I was able to see first hand the great work he does. I don’t trust anyone else with my mouth. I just had my bottom two wisdom teeth removed yesterday and he did an amazing job. I have barely any swelling, no bleeding and very minimal pain I haven’t even had to use any pain medication. I am already back at work today!
I was so impressed with the friendly and quick service from everyone in the office! Being a nervous dental patient, and needing a root canal sooner than later, was the perfect combination for an overwhelming experience. However, Dr. Shakeel was amazing to say the least! I would highly recommend them!
Ive been going to Signature Dental now for several years and have been consistently happy with the service I have received. I appreciate that they remind you of your appointments via email and text. I never have to wait long when I get there. The dental hygienist Stacy is very friendly but quick and thorough, and the dentist is also kind and answers your questions. I have never felt like they have pushed unnecessary services on me, and I have had this experience at other dental offices in the past. I would recommend Signature Dental!
I had the best experience getting my root canal done by Dr. Shakeel. He is highly skilled dentist who does not afraid of difficult cases. The office staff is friendly and respectful. I would definitely recommend Signature Dental Group as the greatest place to go when you facing your oral problems.
Havent been to the dentist in a LONG time (my fault) and was terrified when I needed an emergency root canal. From the moment you walk in to the all around care of the assistants and Dr. Shakeel, I felt so much better and I am so happy I chose this dentist (based off of Yelp and Google reviews).Dr. Shakeel is a calm and caring professional! He took care of my immediate problem and even came in on his day off to make sure I was doing better- that is commitment that you rarely find these days!I have some more appointments set up but as a first experience for not having been to the dentist in a long time, I actually am calm and confident now (whereas in the past I would have feared going to the dentist and would have pushed it off until it was too late).In summary- Great staff and the best dentist- what else could you ask for?
I was their just a couple days ago. The office staff was very helpful and nice. The hygienist was wrong wonderful , I met with the dentist and he seemed very knowledgeable about what he was talking about. I have to get back for some procedures. **Rich Moran Review**I cant say enough about how much I appreciate this office. I have avoided the dentist for so many years out of fear. Finally about 2 weeks ago, I decided that Id had enough and decided to look at a few dentists online, and just maybe I would find one I could feel comfortable going to. I came across Signature Dental Group on Google, and noticed how great all of the reviews were, a lot them were similar to my situation, fear of going.I made a call to their office, and a lady answered the phone and she was MORE than helpful, telling me she promised they would take great care of me, and to take a deep breath. Something about that made me feel really comfortable right away, so I made the appointment to come see the Dr.The Hygienist who saw me initially, was so polite and reassured me there would be no pressure to have work done, but they would be more than happy to figure out what was going on, and come up with a good treatment plan. The doctor came in and was extremely caring and really listened to me when I told him I had a serious fear of the dentist.We ended up booking an appt for a Root Canal, which was yesterday. The whole process was great. I was comfortable the entire time, and felt absolutely nothing during the procedure. They were a HUGE help in making sure I was comfortable before we started, and during the procedure.I feel great today too, returning back to work. I am so happy I found them, and cant wait to get my oral hygiene back on track with this office. Thank you!
I had a great experience with doctor Shakeel. He extracted my wisdom teeth and he made it so much easier than i thought it would be . I called to make an emergency appointment and they got me in the same day which is amazing when you are in pain. Highly recommend.
It is always an absolute pleasure going to the dentist!!! Dr. Shakeel is gentle, considerate and great with my 3 girls and the staff! Well I cannot speak more highly of them. They are always smiling and always ask and are interested in my girls. In a critical situation they always manage to squeeze me in. They are very professional, yet friendly. We dont dread going to the dentist like we used to 😃
Although going to dentist is one of my least favorite things to do, I actually like going to the dentist here! The staff is always incredibly friendly and make me feel comfortable. When I walk in, I never wait more than 5 minutes before getting called back to begin my appointment. During my appointments, I always feel my teeth come out cleaner than ever! Dr. Shakeel is always so friendly and doesnt make me feel as though the appointment is rushed. I absolutely love my teeth. I have gotten them both whitened and shaved down here and I wouldnt have done it anywhere else. Ill be graduating college soon and moving and I definitely have high expectations for my next dentist after so many years at this great place.

In the past I had issues with them properly communicating pricing however theyve recently changed staff so Im hoping its no longer an issue. The staff is all very friendly. Dr. Minn just did a crown for one of my teeth and continuously checked to make sure I had not discomfort, he did an excellent job.
Best dental experience ever! Had a tooth removed and an implant installed. It was, and has been, painless. Loved the staffing, and I was lucky enough to celebrate a birthday with cake right before an extraction. Best red velvet cake I have ever eaten......7 months later. Ive had several visits since then, including multiple deep cavities fixed and one needing a crown. The staff at SDG transformed my mouth in no time and it was pain free :) Im extremely thankful and lucky to have found such a great dental group.

One of the best dentist(s) I have ever had. Dr Chang did my deep cleaning and took my wisdom out. I was only there for my cleaning appointment and he was able to get them out the same day and accommodate my request.Process was very smooth. I would highly recommend d the place. In response to Dr Shakeel:Yes, you said it looked good. But I was told to wait, and it was over 6 months. I saw you, and you also said to wait, so here I am still waiting after I said that I was in pain multiple times. All I was told to do was wait, so I dont understand how that it helping me.Original: I have a cavity that I am VERY aware of. I went to get it filled & had to go back a few weeks later because the pain kept getting worse. The dentist told me that fillings still hurt after getting them. Ive had a cavity before, and I know thats not true. So over 6 months later, my teeth still hurt me! On top of that, they made me pay a copay that I dont even have, and I have made SEVERAL phone calls and still have yet to get my money back!!! First they said they mailed it, and when I called back a few months later, they never mailed it! That was about $80 for no reason!! I will be going to a different dentist to get my fillings properly taken care of. Oh, I also have multiple cavities, and he only wanted to fill one, so my whole mouth is in pain whenever I eat.
I am very pleased with my wisdom teeth taken out. No pain Dr. Shakeel was awesome! Staff was super nice and Vickie was sweet as can be! I recommend this place to everyone 100%! I live in Aurora and drove all the way to Algonquin and I would do it again.
I have always had a great experience with the people at signature dental group. I have never had to wait long to be seen. I had only discomfort after Dr Shakeel pulled four of my wisdom teeth, never pain. He was very aware of my comfort level during the procedure. The one thing I would bring up is the lack of information. I had to ask about pre and post procedure care when I got my wisdom teeth pulled. This information should have been given to me without having to ask for it.
Im very pleased with my experience thus far. Ive just begun a lengthy repair of a long overdue removal & replacement of retained baby teeth among other things. The staff has been wonderful, the procedure painless & Im looking forward to having a smile I can be comfortable with.

I am so happy I found Signature Dental. Dr Shakeel has been wonderful. Everyone there is very nice, its the cleanest dental office Ive ever been to and they do amazing work. They work 3 times faster than any other dentist and Dr. Shakeel fixed my front teeth. Ive always had large oddly shaped uneven front teeth and was always teased growing up and Dr. Shakeel said he could fix it and 3 minutes later, I have a new smile. I dont think Ive ever been so happy leaving a dentist office.

I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist. I’ve been in this field for 30 plus years the office has a way to calm you down. I needed to change my dentist and found Signature Dental & made an appointment to have my 6-month checkup. They are so very nice & thoughtful. Had x-rays & they even gave me a chair to sit on for x-rays as I cant stand very long. I had an infection in one tooth, so they injected antibiotic under gum that lasts for ten days. Im truly happy I found them. I will recommend them to all my friends.

The personnel who attended me, from front desk to hygienist are all fantastic. Not to mention Dr. Shakeer my dentist is so knowledgeable and got good hands in handling me that you will fear no more in going to the dentist. The facility is great and mostly all dental works are done in one location.
I have had a very good experience at this clinic. Reception staff as well as dental assistants are marvelous. Dr. Shakeel is patient oriented, Caring, gentle, he is there for you when you need him, and is ready to answer any question you may have. I had a half broken tooth with a filling that I thought was going to be extracted but Dr Shakeel saved the tooth and fixed with a crown. I first went here because I saw that the dentist did implants (the entire procedure, not send you elsewhere like many other dentists). The receptionists are great, super nice and friendly. Dr. Shakeel is fantastic. I am one that really (REALLY) hates/fears the dentist and he made me feel very much at ease. I just finished with the implant and it was very easy and pain free! I was so anxious about it, I had put it off for 3 years because I thought it was going to be very painful. I literally had to ask Dr. Shakeel to show me the x-ray because I could not feel the screw implanted at all. I never had to take any pain pills after. I highly recommend Signature Dental for an implant and any dental work. :)
Dr. Shakeel is a miracle worker in my opinion. Another dentist had made a mess of my mouth, and I came to Signature Dental with broken crowns and a broken tooth that needed emergency extraction. Dr. Shakeel works quickly but accurately, and with gentle finesse of a skilled expert. He always is checking your comfort level and I experienced the least pain of any other dentist Ive been to. He was able to repair a crown that another dentist ruined and I finally can eat and chew without pain! I would recommend him to anyone who needs their faith in dentistry restored! His staff is very courteous and very caring, so I finally feel like I am in good hands! I plan to do more cosmetic work with him in the future!

I brought my son to SDG because of the referral I received from my sister, whos family has been with SDG for many many years. He was in intense pain and I thought that it would be just a consult appointment (because it was his first visit) & x-rays and then another appointment to begin the work that needed to be done. Cant say how appreciative I am for the concern and the care of Dr. Shakeel and all of his staff. Dr. Shakeel didnt want to send my son home in pain so in between his other patients he began the 2 root canals to relieve the pain. My son was extremely anxious so Dr. Shakeel gave him something to calm him down, which made the whole process so much easier for him. Even though Dr. Shakeel prescribed pain meds for my son for when he came home, he has been pain free since leaving the office and hasnt needed to take any of them. I couldnt be more satisfied with the service and the kindness that was extended to my son and I, and am so very grateful for their concern for their patients well-being. We no longer need to be afraid to see the dentist and can finally begin the process of getting our smiles back. Thank you, Dr. Shakeel and staff . . . you all are awesome!Update: 01/06/18The above review was regarding my sons experience but now I need to add a review for my own experience. I went in to see Dr. Shakeel on 01/03 because of pain. One tooth extraction later, with no pain during or after, was unusual for me because Ive had many extractions over the years and I was ALWAYS in pain afterwards. However, what was even more amazing was this: I went back yesterday, 01/05, and had 3 more teeth extracted and I sit here @ 5:30am on 01/06 (my birthday no less) and still have NO PAIN!!! Dr. Shakeel AND his staff are absolutely amazing!! They are so concerned about how you are feeling during your time in the chair, and afterwards as well, that it completely blows me away. My blood pressure was quite elevated (171 over 93) in anticipation of having 3 extractions done at the same time (and I have had several heart attacks in the past) so they monitored my blood pressure throughout the extractions, gave me Nitrous Oxide to breathe to calm me down, and did all three extractions with absolutely no issues, no problems and NO PAIN!! IF YOU FEAR DENTISTS and are TERRIFIED OF HAVING WORK DONE ON YOUR TEETH (as I was) then THERE IS ONLY ONE DENTIST TO GO TO AND THAT IS DR. SHAKEEL! I could not recommend any Dentist or Staff more highly or with more sincerity and gratitude than I do Signature Dental Group and I will gladly continue to travel the hour and a half from where I live in Wisconsin so that I can continue to have Dr. Shakeel work on my teeth. I have lived with teeth missing all over my mouth for decades and soon I will have partials put in and have teeth to chew with again. Dr. Shakeel took the time to talk with me and offer recommendations that fit my budget, and soon I will be able to smile without broken teeth and gaping holes in my mouth. How awesome is that?!?!?! Take a chance . . . I promise you wont be disappointed!!
It was a casual weekend trip to Chicago for a weekend.I had an accidental fall on a pole, an injury that left me in 0 confidence. My tooth was broken in Half and had severe pain.I was in pretty bad shape, with bruises and swollen face, after basic first aid, on a Sunday, I called Signature Dental group stating my emergency, Dr. Shakeel was quick to respond and put me on medication.Dr.Shakeel made arrangements for an emergency checkup on Monday itself.The Entire staff was very friendly and caring, I visited the group and Linda took my x rays with care. Dr. Shakeel, had done a few procedures on me, worked my root canal, and took care of an infected broken tooth.All this in one Monday Afternoon. He was like a magician, performing every act professionally and meticulously.I was hopeless on Sunday but walked out of Signature Dental group with great confidence on Monday Evening.The Pain Reduced, and I was able to get back to work on Tuesday in Indianapolis!Bruises faded slowly over the week, the best part is Im feeling normal and going back to Chicago soon for a follow-up.I Highly Recommend anyone in Chicago to visit Dr. Shakeel.
Came in with bad tooth pain. Dentist couldnt find anything wrong but suggested a crown to see if there was internal fracture. They took my insurance information and told me they would contact me in about a week....That was a month ago. I never heard from them again.I went to another dentist who gave me a much better examination, seemed more knowledgeable, and said my teeth looked great. He did not suggest a crown.

It’s been a while since I had been to the dentist (mostly due to moving and laziness in finding one), but I’m glad I found Signature Dental. They did a great job with the few fillings I needed, and were very knowledgeable. They also we’re kind to answer my many questions and helped me understand exactly what work was needed/completed.
I needed a root canal and my old dentist referred me to a dentist over 5 miles away! I found a dentist closer my home, Dr. Shakeel. He not only accepted my insurance, but performed the root canal with skill and no pain! A friendly dentist and staff with later hours for people who work during the day is a bonus! I highly recommend Signature Dental.
If you have fear of dentist....fear no more! If by giving the Dr. and Staff of Signature Dental Group a very positive recommendation helps one person get to the dental office I will be happy. There are many words to describe this group of people but let me give you a few you may not think of when associating words with a dentist and staff. Kind, caring, patient, mostly on time, great in emergencies, always calls you back, friendly, smiling, great dispositions, understanding, sympathetic, mannerly. Hygenist Kelsey is top notch. As a patient, it is easy to tell that Kelsey is exceptional at her job. Her thoroughness, attention to detail, cleanliness, and overall manipulation of the tools shows through her work. I never had any pain during my cleaning or xrays. My bib was still completley clean and there was no splashing or dripping throughout the appointment. There was no tugging, pulling or unnecessary talking during the visit. I highly recommend requesting Kelsey for your next cleaning.
Dr Shakeel is very knowledgeable and gets the job done with minimal pain. My experience has been nothing but great and would recommend him to my friends and family . His injection technique is great and I barely felt the needle ,I have heard this from my dad also who has had a lot of implant surgery done with Dr shak

I had wonderful dental experience with Dr. Shakeel. I had a back molar that needed a new crown because of decay under my old one. He gave me a few options as to what he might have to do. Luckily he was able to save my tooth which I was grateful for and just replace the old crown. I got the new crown and it fits really well. So proud of his work. I would recommend Dr. Shakeel to anyone.

10/08/19: DrShak & Friends does it again! Just finished up my last apmt for my new tooth implant. Great job (at great price), Dr Shak...perfect fit, better than MotherNatures original. (Special shout out to my team favs, Julie & Linda),Dr Shak: I need your help concerning my billing. I received an invoice for $3500 last month and returned it with questions about my Debits&Credits. When I did not hear back, I called Vicki two weeks ago regarding this matter and still no response.I would like to clear this up so I can complete my implant.Please ask Julie to look at my Credits&Debits, please.I know she can figure it out!!1/18/19: I will continue to recommend Dr Shak / Signature Dental to any friends, family & acquaintances I encounter. Fantastic! Dr. Shakeel is talented, kind, sensitive and patient. He goes the extra distance to do whats right. Not what just gets by. Once while in for a procedure I saw the woman in the next room break down in tears after they handed her a mirror. It was her big reveal after a year of reconstructive dental work to give her her smile back. It worked. And for that young lady, it must have been life changing.Dr. Shakeel and his dental hygienist and assistants are the best you can fin. Thank you for taking care of us.

Ive always been leary of going to dentists but dr. Shakeel took his time and I felt absolutely zero pain with my root canal. He also goes slow when there are financial constraints and works with me to make it as easy as possible.

I called Signature Dental Group by accident thinking it was my dentist. I was calling to make a cancellation, however, the receptionist couldnt find my name. When I learned I had called the wrong number on accident. She said into the phone I figured and immediately hung up on me. Extremely rude & very unfriendly service.

2022-06-21Best dentist ever! I found Doctor Shakeel on Google, many great reviews that caught my attention because they sounded different, very sincere. I am so happy that I took a chance on him. He just finished my first set of implants and I couldnt be happier. Doctor Shakeel worked with me to make sure that the plan fit my budget, including flexible payment options, he explained every step in the process and gave me options. Everyone in that office is super nice and friendly, they make you feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. My drive to their office is over an hour but totally worth it. Overall a very professional environment, so much better than many other dentists I have visited before making a decision. Cant wait to start my next set of implants. Very highly recommend Signature Dental Group and Doctor Shakeel!

2022-06-08Miracle worker. This doctor found the problem immediately. I had a root canal done a few months ago and Ive been in pain for months. Several rounds of antibiotics I decided I had to go somewhere else after several places without anyone explaining whats wrong he opened my tooth up and found the root canal wasnt done properly. Ive been saying I could feel the tooth the entire time finally someone listened. Its a miracle. Thank you. Thank you for listening. Thank you for helping me.

2022-04-20I love this practice! My significant other did nothing without research. He found Dr. Shakeel and I am so thankful he did! From the ladies at the front desk, to Doctors assistants, the lady that cleaned my teeth, they are all wonderful. Patient and kind while I was a nervous wreck. And the leader of this group, Dr. Shakeel, is a star. Already starting to plan my visits for my upper teeth. If you are looking for a dentist the research has already been done! Happy to have these people helping me through this process.

2015-06-30I went through a lot of dental offices in order to find a reasonable price to get a single implant since I didnt have a dental insurance.In the Guardian newspaper I happened to come across an advertisement of the Signature Dental Group in Algonquin and decided to call for more information. I got my appointment set up for the next week.Since I have lost my tooth a couple of years ago I was missing the bone so Dr. Shakeel had to put the graft first which was a no pain procedure. Next step was an implant. Then a few months later I got a permanent crown which Dr.Shakeel picked out thoroughly to match the rest of my teeth.I must admit, even though I live in the city it was worth driving all the way to the suburb. My tooth looks and feels nothing like an implant. Not only I got a new tooth for an affordable price but also a confidence to smile AGAIN!The office personnel was very friendly and I am happy with the service I received. I highly recommended Signature Dental Group for my family.

2022-06-24Made an appointment for a cleaning and check up. Dr. doesn’t work on Fridays, which no one cared to inform me. When I asked if he’d be reviewing my X-rays & get back to me, I was told “he probably will.” Terrible service.

2021-12-07Stacy ,Julie, and Dr Shakeel are amazing. I have been going to them for 20 years. Stacy is the only one that I let clean my teeth. She has a vibrant smile which matches her warm and friendly personality. Julie is warm and comforting. She helps you stay calm if you are getting anxious. She is genuine to the core. Dr. Shakeel is warm and kind. He does outstanding work. He keeps my smile looking great. You are in wonderful hands with all three of them. 2019-12-26You never get a second chance to make a first impression. I was there with my husband for an initial visit and consultation. Everyone was very welcoming and cheerful even though it was Christmas Eve and likely wishing they were already off for the Christmas holiday. We werent rushed through at all. The Dr. Did a thorough exam and then took us into the office to explain in detail what the issues were, the available options and his recommendations. One recommendation is to spread out the work over time to make the most of the insurance benefits. The pricing provided is much better than our previous dentist who explained nothing. He only provided a list of what he said had to be done and was pushing to have it done by years end regardless of the fact that our insurance wasnt going to provide coverage for most of it. No work done yet so Ill report back after the next appointment, but for starters we feel like we found the right fit here. My daughter already scheduled her appointment too! Thanks to everyone at Signature. So far very good!
