Let me start off by staying very person has different ideas when it comes to getting new hair styles. But the what makes the difference is if your hair can actual be that style and how the barbers explains that your hair can be close or its not doing to happen they are truly talented individuals.. If this is your first time coming here make sure u call ahead and make a appointment they are by apponimnet only but they due manage to due walk inns how ever. They due quality Cuts not no 5 dollars cuts I always feel like a million dollars when i walk out of there
Beatrice gave me a cut and she faded up into the top of my head on one side and on the other she started the fade lower and didnt finish it up so my sides look uneven and also she made my lineup uneven too. overall one of the worst cuts I’ve ever gotten and i recommend not going here. I met up with my friends and they all assumed i got a 5 dollar haircut and their jaws dropped once i told them i had actually paid 25 for this garbage.
I use to go to this barber all the time until today, 4/30/17. I walked in around 1:55pm they close at at 3pm so well over an hour to help me get my hair cut, nope!! One of the barbers came up to me and asked if I had an appointment, I said no because I always just walk in, he explained to me that they are no longer taking anyone because they close at 3pm and two of the three barbers had appointments set, the other barber was just cleaning. They did not ask me what I wanted to get done and just explained that they were not taking anyone else. So I left went down the street to $5 haircuts and was in and out within 10 minutes! Got exactly what I wanted without any complaints!!You guys really need to work on your customer service!! Lost a customer of well over 6 years!!Thank you!
Worst place ever! My husband waited 2 hours to get a hair cut and didnt even get it because they were cutting there friends first.. even tho we got there before...it was freaking rude and they dont even ask u how are u are anything they mean mug u. They should have some Professional barbers not these rude Mexicans. If i was the owner i would totally fire them. There lazy and all they do is gossip thats what makes them take longer. I found it really unprofessional. Dont even bother coming to this place.

Best place ever! I had a bad experience with other places and once this place came to Addison, it quickly caught my attention. From there I met Chino, who has been my barber for 5 years now. This guy and his team take pride in their work!
My son Requested half the lenght cut going into Shave Legends, and the barber took the clippers to him.Which isnt what my son asked for.Our services with Shave Legend just ended today, never again.
Arguably the best barbershop experience I have had. All the staff there are friendly & helpful, and place is spotless. The cut is consistently VERY good.
Although all the staff work great and are pretty friendly, Ralf, Naz & Beatriz are our faves. My sons love their cuts, these guys have great hands.
Amazing expierence. Walked in the door, the place seemed busy but because i had an appointment they got me right in on time. These guys really know what theyre doing and they take pride in the work they put out. I honestly couldnt be happier with my expierence here today. They dont rush you out of the chair just because someone else walked in without an appointment. That means the most to me. They take their time with each individual person and it really shows with the work they put out. Best haircut and shave i have had in a long loong time.

Ive walked in here 2 different times. And both timesthey tell me. They are busy and they dont know. They dont know how many people they got, and they dont send you to the right person. They just stare at you and continue their conversation. Very unprofessional. The 2nd time i went it was earlier in the morning. The guy told me he wasnt even supposed to be open. But he was cutting someone up. He could have just asked me to wait. He could have taken me. Or asked me to come back. But he said he wasnt sure if more people were coming. And he didnt know if the other barbers were coming in. So i leftSince he didnt offer me an appointment.
I was a walk in, i waited 20 mins while mexicans kept walking in & out like a factory assembly line. No one asked to help me. Finally one guy as he was walking out for a smoke break said he would take care of me when he comes back. I waited another 10 mins, Instead he walks in with 2 other mexicans & cuts their hair. This place sucks.I went to the $5 hair cut place on Addison road. Didnt even have time to sit down, they took me & i was out in 7 mins.

Erik cuts excellently. Been going to him for a few months. Its challenging finding someone in the suburbs that can cut a brothas hair on point.
If you are looking for something new or just going in to get your usual style these guys work with you and know what they are doing. I will not go anywhere else as long as I am living in the Chicago land area. Abel is my guy and can give you whatever you are looking for.

Very bad service ... I felt discriminated against myself and my children ... I dont know if they thought I had no money, ok, I dont speak English, but I had to pay for my haircuts and much more and then I chew English too well. I want to. Attend even though I already had a reservation with 4 days of antisipation .... then I claimed them and went to the door to the door the vato the pedorro manager I do not know how much he grabbed barking like a dog ... I never go back to that place or as a joke ... if it could, it would give them less 10 stars
The worst place or gift we return again They take a long time maybe because they spend making them interesting and the best barbers, they attend first I suppose to friends and questions if you are already going to pass and they still answer you badly, credit the guys, they charge much oh and close before hours, too bad!

I went there to have my beard shaved. For a beard shave it was perfectly okay. What I didnt like was that you couldnt make an appointment by phone, but were referred to the Internet + you had to pay in advance and pay tips.

2022-05-07These guys always look at u like a weirdo when you a walk-in. Take down the sign outside for walkins when you obviously never take walkins. Unprofessional people always want you to book an appointment but how tf am I suppose to know who the better barber without walk-in and seeing what they do. Trash customer service. Actin like my money ain’t good or that I don’t tip well cuz ima walk in. And no I will never make an appointment cuz when you do you gotta wait still. Trashhhhh

2017-01-29The barber was very meticulous, but without a hot towel you WILL get nicked! Gotta pay an extra fiver to get that luxury. The atmosphere is pure hip hop, but chill.

2021-07-30I recently moved into the area and stopped in for a haircut from Kobe. His attention to detail while also being very conversational was among the best I have ever seen. The haircut exceeded all expectations and I will for sure be going back in the future.

2021-05-13Literal worst place for a haircut. The barber Freddy massacred my hairstyle that I usually get. Paid $40 for him to chop off half of my hair. Uneven cut and uneven beard lineup. Had to come home and fix my beard and wear a hat. Never had a bad haircut until this place. Have to wear a hat until my hair grows back. Jesus. These guys cannot cut hair.

2017-01-17There is a reason this place is called Shave Legends, the service here is legendary. I have been coming to this establishment now for the past 4-5 years and the service is ALWAYS amazing. The barbers that work there are some of the most friendly people I have ever met, they really make you feel like you are part of the Shave Legends family.If you need an appointment, no problem, they are always able to accommodate your needs. Need to just come in for a quick lineup, no problem, the walk in service is great. I have seen the staff stay after hours just to take care of its customers needs, this is what makes a business a great business.The haircuts are amazing and at an affordable price. This place is always clean and in my eyes respectable, they take pride in their craft. The atmosphere here is also excellent as the establishment is lined with flat panel TVs playing making your haircut that much more enjoyable.I highly recommend this fine establishment, 5 STARS all the way, I will not go to another place but Shave Legends.
