I found Senara while looking for a better alternative to the other local day spa in town and all I can say is WOW what a completely different experience Ive had here! The staff is incredibly friendly, the prices are fair, and the treatments actually work! I originally started coming here for laser hair removal, moved on to getting my nails done, then eventually using the chiropractic services once I needed them. Both the chiropractic side of the business and the spa side are exceptional. I will continue to come here for everything I need in the future.
There are a multitude of ways in which I could rate Senara, but I will limit my scope to two different perspectives.I have taken care of Senara employees as my guests, as they have hired me for services for their guests. As a local Peoria area customer service manager, I can say comfortably, confidently, and beyond a shadow of a doubt, that they are one of the best companies I get to work with. They operate on a very high moral standard. They treat their guests and service people with the highest of regard and kindness.I have also been a guest to Senara. I received a full body massage - and the entire experience is second to NONE. The entire atmosphere, welcoming, accommodations, employees, and even the waiting period are so enjoyable. The massage itself was amazing, comfortable, and relaxing. However, there is the entire experience of being there, which really validates how much they care, and how many aspects they consider to our experience with them.I will never receive any services elsewhere.
This was truly a luxurious experience. I loved my massage and treatment at Senara. The front desk staff was quite helpful as I decided on my purchases post-massage. There is a great spa shop including jewelry and sandals. The atmosphere was very relaxing and a great addition to my summer vacation.
Senara is awesome! I first went in for a Swedish massage and left the session feeling completely relaxed. The facility is beautiful, clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I also use their chiropractic and have taken physical therapy there. Dr. Kramer takes excellent care of his patients and my neck/ back pain has been improving over time under the care of the Senara staff. Highly recommended!
Senara is a five-star, first-class experience across the board. I could not recommend it highly enough.My first experience was when my husband surprised me with a massage for my birthday. The facilities are pristine and EVERY detail is acknowledged. It is a true luxury experience. I received an hour-long, deep tissue massage from Tonja. She was professional and clearly educated with great experience. I have visited many locations here and in other large cities and her technique rivaled the best.My next experience was at a FREE womens event. The staff remembered and called me by name after just ONE visit to the spa. We received makeovers, massages and refreshments. I attended with a friend and we had a blast!After these experiences and many positive recommendations from friends, I recently moved my chiropractic care to Senara as well. I appreciate their focus and the desire to educate the patient on complete wellness. I received a full-plan up front with no hidden charges, built-in assessments to check my progress and I have a full-understanding of my future treatments.Yes - there are many, many great chiropractors in the area and other good spa options as well. I do not deny that, but Senara provides the full-package and the best comprehensive experience at fair prices.
I love going to Senara for pedicures - its not overly crowded (only two chairs) and its calm and peaceful (and quiet). While your feet are soaking, your back is massaged by the chair and you can look at the woods and relax. The staff are also extremely good at their jobs and happily offer you a heated neck pillow and beverages. The services here are well worth the time and cost!
Senara is immediately comforting. Everyone is very helpful and helps you relax. I had my eyebrows waxed and it was the most painless experience I have had when getting my eyebrows waxed. She shaped and plucked them and it was the best looking eye brow wax I have ever had.
I have gotten two facials, deep cleansing and HydraFacial MD, here. Both experiences were very pleasant. The lounge area before getting called for your treatment is extremely relaxing and comforting with snacks and drinks. The staff are very welcoming and willing to answer any questions.
My facial with Melissa was amazing! The face, shoulder and neck massage was the best I had ever experienced. I love all the products she used (smelled and felt amazing) and she taught me the benefits of each for my skin type. Melissa is really talented at what she does! She is professional, experienced and helps you feel completely relaxed and pampered during your treatment. Her facials should be part of your regular skin wellness routine.The environment at Senara is so serene. It was a much needed break from the stress of everyday responsibilities. Every detail is amazing including the luxurious robes and flip-flops, selection of products in the locker room, relaxing music selection, delicious and healthy refreshments in the lounge and the professional staff.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kramers for years and have never ever had anything but professional and personable service from him and his staff. I was shocked to read that other review! Years ago I had terrible pain in my neck--couldnt sleep, couldnt work, couldnt move it at all. Someone mentioned chiropractor care and I was a skeptic but sought out Dr. Kramer as he came highly recommended. The chiropractic care not only helped improve my neck but my whole well being. Ive never felt better! Senara is a beautiful building inside and out. Ive had numerous services including massage, facials, waxing and nails. Ive benefited from Senaras personal training and physical therapy and taken yoga classes there. From the moment you walk in, the staff treats you like you are the most important person there and goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. Its the best spa in Peoria, hands down.
Wish I had experiences like all of the other positive reviews. Sadly, each time Ive gone to Senara, my experience was mediocre at best. Ive had several services performed on both the spa side and the medical side. For the price, I expect more. The building is beautiful, and there was one gal that gave a good massage (Teagan/Keegan maybe?). But overall, I never felt special. I often felt overlooked. I never felt that the price was worth the service. NEVER. I continued to go...not sure why. But I will spend my time and money elsewhere.
I found this place on Google reviews and in my experience, it lives up to the reviews! I moved to central Illinois a year ago from the Chicago area and was having a hard time finding a place that had fair pricing for Botox. I found Laura and all I can say is WOW. She is great at her job. She understands exactly what I want and also is honest about whether or not I should do other treatments. I went in again the other day and inquired about another treatment and she told me I could probably wait another 6 months. I appreciate her honest feedback versus an upsell. I am so happy to have found Senara and Laura!
I have been a long-time customer of Senara. They made it out as if they were taking the COVID 19 pandemic and state guidelines/requirements seriously. They are not. I visited on June 4 and the only staff wearing masks was the spa staff. The people working the desks are not, yet they are close to you. Guests arent required to wear masks. They have you getting a pedicure within about three feet of another person. Some of the guidelines they put on their own Senara website were not even being implemented when I was there. I wrote them with my concerns and their response was basically These are just guidelines. So it is apparent they dont care about having their employees wear masks to protect you, the client and that they dont care about listening to science.If you are going to go to Senara during the ongoing pandemic with the understanding that they are taking this seriously and following all the IDPH guidelines, they are not. I would go elsewhere.
Ive been going to Senara for chiropractic care (urgent needs and preventative care) for more years than I can remember. Dr Keith is as knowledgeable in the field as anyone could want. He always communicates the hows and whys of treatment. Spa services are top notch. Staff is excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone needing care or pampering!
Senara is a gem! Top notch service from chiropractic care to spa services! Our family has been a patient to Dr. Kramer for 10+ years and wouldt go anywhere else. The spa is wonderful, I love the atmosphere! Monthly soa specials from facials to pedicures. Just an overall great company who cares about their patients!

I always have a great experience here! My only comment would be that the Ladies lounge could use some updating. Maybe a lighter color on the walls, comfy chairs, and different decorations. The current curtain in the lounge seems a bit heavy and could be replaced with something brighter or lighter. However, Senera is a great place to go for, not only spa services, but chiropract services as well. I love the monthly specials and Reba does an EXCELLENT job!
Senaras spa services are phenomenal! I have been to spas at high end resorts in Scottsdale, Chicago, St. Thomas, and San Francisco and I can honestly say that my experience at Senara surpasses those. The staff genuinely wants you to relax and enjoy your spa services. They are very polite, kind, and accommodating. The providers are professionals, extremely knowledgeable and highly experienced. The entire experience is one that you would not expect to find in Peoria and will not stay Peorias secret very long. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Senara!!
I can’t say enough about Senara! The spa is amazing. The best place in Peoria to get massages! Hands down! Also, Dr. Kramer is fantastic. From the moment you enter the door, there is a sense of calm and warmth. The front desk girls are so kind and always have a smile. Laura (nurse) always does an amazing job. She takes her time to educate on the different options available and what would work best for me.
This facility is AMAZING! Friendly staff, great lounge to relax in while waiting for your services, clean locker rooms, and I got hands down the best prenatal massage!!! Cant wait to go back (I will definitely opt for the longer one this time😉)
I took my College age Son in to get an IV Infusion to help strengthen his immune system. He had walking pneumonia and bronchitis and felt terrible. The NP was so compassionate and made sure he was well taken care of and he felt better the next day. I dont know exactly what all was in the IV but it really worked and I am grateful for this service. It is priceless when it means your kid feels better. Thank you for your awesome treatment and making us feel special while we were visiting there... It was also great to see Jennifer, you guys are blessed to have her working there. She is such a sweet, caring person. She took my Hubby & friend Greg to a Cubs game 19 years ago when he had stage 3 cancer and going through 28 chemo treatments and I will never forget the generosity and compassion she showed him. My first visit was amazing. However, my latest trip was not! I had a full day planned...pedicure, manicure, and a massage. I chose the Senara signature pedicure because it offered a paraffin wax treatment except their paraffin wax treatment consisted of a cube of coconut oil and Shea butter and it included an extra 10 minutes, this is not worth a $15 upcharge. I also had a 2 week manicure (shellac) done and my nails are already chipping and it has only been two day! My massage was also not impressive. Instead of a relaxing day at the spa I was there for three hours all the while ready to leave!!

Each time I go to Senara, it is for relaxation and to feel good. As we all have favorites in the massage and facial world, so do I; however I would say that all of the technicians are well trained and do a great job. The atmosphere is lovely and very zen-liike. I LOVE it!
Senara is such a wonderful place with the most professional staff! I love coming here for a massage and it’s always my go-to place for gifts for friends and family! They have a beautiful gift shop as well. HIGHLY recommend!!

I absolutely LOVE Senara. This past summer, we brought my son to see Dr. Griffitts and she was wonderful. She was kind, listened to our concerns and respectful. In fact, all the staff was great. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and always spoiled my littles with stickers and chocolate. I would recommend this place to anyone!
I cant say enough about the excellent services and care I recieve from Senara. I have been seeing Dr. Kramer for almost 10 years now, and I know that his chiropractic care is a large part of my excellent health. Both of my children also receive chiropractic services here, and I completely trust the care they are given. We have all learned so much about wellness, and I really appreciate all of the educational opportunities and the promotion of healthy lifestyle choices. in addition to the incredible chiropractic care, the spa is FABULOUS! I have so much fun trying the different options for massage and facials, and feel completely relaxed and energized after spending time in the beautiful facility. Who doesnt love feelng like a mermaid for the day! Last but certainly not least, is that I really appreciate the fantastic staff!!!! Everyone takes time to really get to know my entire family, making us all feel at home and very well cared for. Dr. Kramer is thorough in getting to the root of your health problems. After the many years that I have dealt with IBS, Dr. Kramer has been the only one to make it nearly disappear. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the appointments, tests, and supplements add up to quite a large sum of money, but, because I’m so much better, I will continue under his care as long as I can, financially.The only other treatment I’ve experienced was a facial, which was fine, but I wasn’t wowed.
I was diagnosed with Degenerative disc disease and slight arthritis in my lower spine. I had previously been getting spine injections every 2-4 months to control my pain, at a pain clinic. I decided to seek out a chiropractor and came across Senara. He had me come 2-3 times a week for a month for adjustments and to do treatments on there Spine decompress machine. I now am able to go over a year without getting any back injections. Thank you Senara.
This is the friendliest and most accommodating health and wellness spa I have been to. Wendy has provided medical messages for me many times. They are great. The Chiropractoic sevices are excellent also. A must try .

Senara Spa and Dr. Kramer have been truly been a life saver for my wife. It is nothing short of a blessing that they opened when they did (at the lowest point in my wifes health) and where they did (2 minutes from our house). I arrived for a Functional Medicine appointment, after carefully checking that the charges would be billed to my insurance as a medical appointment. I had heard some horror stories about people racking up huge charges (many thousands) from Senara, and so when I signed the financial consent form I made sure to ask the receptionist to let me know of all charges ahead of time. First, the initial consultation is $280 (almost a third again more than my actual doctor [MD] charges), second this bill would be charged as chiropractic not medical because the nurse practitioner was not present. This was after having been assured that all charges would be billed as medical. I was sent home and was told I would have to reschedule. What shoddy and unprofessional conduct! The owners were directly consulted and could easily have made sure that I was able to keep my appointment.
If youre looking for a miracle worker, go see Laura at Senara Health and Healing!!! She is the absolute best!! They always make you feel right at home... Beautiful atmosphere and amazing services!!

Coworker and I got deep tissue massages and they didnt hold back. My experience was exceptional and the ambiance felt pretty boujee. Will definitely return in the near future.

2022-05-07I was gifted a couples spa day and was excited to try a new place with my hubby and even drove 45 mins to experience Senara. I was less than satisfied. The cost was extremely high for the level of service.. it took me 4 months to get an appt only to have my appt time changed the day before services by them. We were cut short of 15 mins of our massages and they rushed us out the door as clearly we were their last appt of the day. Then to realize they added a 52$ tip on the tab for the massage therapist who both ASKED what our problem areas were to only spend 10 mins out of the hour and a half booked time slot on those areas. I will never return to Senara and I suggest spending your money elsewhere. Very disappointed.

2021-10-06I see Liz Wiest for my skin treatments and she is incredible! I scheduled a facial with her right before my wedding because there is no one else I trust to help me put my best face forward! Shes professional, so kind, and 100% attentive to what my skin needs. I felt so confident going into my wedding weekend and taking tons of photos thanks to her! I cant recommend Liz highly enough! Shes the best.

I booked a couples massage for my husband and I & I was incredibly nervous- I typically don’t like to be touched and have never had a massage before.The value for services definitely justifies the costs!When we entered the building the woman who checked us in and had us fill out our paperwork was so sweet (& adorable!)- chatting with us as we filled out our paperwork & was even kind enough to laugh at my husband’s jokes - haha!She took us to our own locker rooms where we de-dressed in a very private and aesthetically pleasing bathroom/locker room which are equipped with private toilet areas, shower areas, and even have hair accessories if you need shower and dry your hair, etc after services.We then we’re able to relax for a few minutes in separate women/men’s lounges- furnished with super comfy lounge chairs, deliciously infused water and just the perfect ambient lighting. It was Impossible for me to be anxious- which is an incredible feat For me.Our massage therapists each came to get us & we entered the couples room where they asked us our preferences, if we had problem areas or if there were any areas we would like them to avoid. They were the perfect combination of friendly, professional, and respectful.My husband had a deep tissue massage & I settled for the Swedish massage. during The massages both girls were considerate of our relaxation and privacy when adjusting. The whole thing felt fluid and i could tell both therapists really take pride in their work.there was no rush to get us out of there once our massages were over- and our 50 minute massages started at 6pm so I’m sure they were ready to go home! They let us relax together while we had some water and talked about how AMAZING we felt- before having to head home to reality, kids, pets, and NOT so peaceful ambient lighting. :)as we were walking to the locker room and lounge areas- we noticed the Sauna and asked a couple of questions. She let us see it and talked through the different options they had for clients- never once dismissing us or trying to hurry us out.This was our first experience at Senara but it definitely will NOT be our last. I’m already planning on calling them today for our next adventure at the spa!

2020-01-07Their spa services & spa staff are fantastic!!! I am always super-pleased with the people performing my facials, manicures and pedicures. The quality of the products they use is also top-notch. That being said, what keeps Senara from getting 5 stars from me is the customer service skills of the staff that answer the phone. That can vary wildly. Sometimes the customer service is very good, other times its incredibly off-putting.

2019-06-17Went for a Swedish massage and from start to finish it was a fantastic experience. I walked in and was running a little behind but the staff made me feel comfortable from the time I walked in the door. The staff took me to the locker room they give you a locker with a robe and flip flops. I then was taken to the mens lounge where I sat and relaxed until Brittany came to get me. Brittany gave me the best massage that I have every had perfect amount of pressure very relaxing. By the end of the massage I was very relaxed and felt amazing. Thank you Brittany.

2017-12-05I love Senara!!! Its definitely the best place for a massage in Peoria! Senara is all about the quality of your relaxation. You notice the extra effort they have put into every detail of your spa experience: the fluffy robe, the essential oils, the spa music, the entire ambience relaxes you before you even get to your appointment. Its hard to choose my favorite spa treatment because they are all fantastic but the mermaid wave massage is a must!! All of the massages are incredible but the rocking motions of this massage are really something special. The facials are also a wonderful experience. Not only are they great for your skin but when you are finished you can ask questions about skin care and get the products you need right there at Senara. Ive had over a dozen massages at Senara and had an amazing experience EVERY time!!! I recommend this spa to everyone!
