Got a great haircut from Larsa, an usual every 4 months. We have great conversations, a very pleasant experience for a haircut.
One of the best spots out there. I usually work with George, who’s awesome at what he does, and very professional. Overall, the whole staff members are friendly, and easy going. Definitely recommend this place.

Noor is the best hair cutter in the entire world. Been going to him before scissors palace and will continue to keep doing buisness with him. Be sure to schedule appointment they are pretty busy and can’t get cut without appointment but it’s worth every single penny! GREAT JOB!
Larsa is AMAZING! She gave me a beautiful cut, dye, AND blowout!! She’s so nice and conversational, not to mention gentle which means a lot bc I have a sensitive scalp. I left looking like a celebrity she made me look hot! Definitely will be returning and booking an appointment with her!
George did an amazing job! He clearly is passionate about what he does. His attention to detail was amazing and even tidied up my beard as well. Any gentleman looking for a cut has to come here! Highly recommend it!

Im not very picky when it comes to a haircut, but for only a few bucks more than the chains you get a way better haircut, friendly service and attention to detail. Cool shop with cool people.
Perfect cut every time. Everyone there is very pro at what they do. My barber is George and he knows how to get that beard on point 👌🏼. Most important thing is, they are always always on time.

2022-08-30Best in Evanston. Not a ton of choices for barbers, admittedly, but Ive tried them all and this is where Ill keep going. Used to get beard and hair, now I just get a haircut. For both services theyre rock solid, quick but not rushed, and, a plus for me, not a lot of BS small talk. Not really a place to catch up on gossip or chew over the latest news, but pop in, get a sharp cut, and get out.

2022-03-23I made an appointment for my son. We arrived 5 minutes before our time; but there was no one at the desk, no one greeted us or asked if we had an appointment, all stylists were busy, and there were 4 people already waiting. We waited for 20 minutes and, when someone was finally done, they still didnt say anything to us: they just took somebody else who was waiting. Why bother taking appointments at all if youre not going to check in with customers, or if youre going to overbook yourself? They used to be my favorite, but clearly they have more than enough customers. They lost this one.

2022-01-12If I could give Scissors Palace a million stars I would. The vibes are always so welcoming, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. They treat you like you are family! I have never been disappointed with my hair cut or color. (this coming from someone that used to always dread getting my hair done) Larsa is a true master of her craft. She is so detailed-a true perfectionist! I will never ever go anywhere else. Thank you for the amazing service!

2022-03-30Outstanding service all around. Larsa has such great people skills. Small talk by hair stylists is expected but the ease of conversation made you feel like you knew her for years. 2021-10-02One of the best barber shops I have ever been to. Very clean, on time and super professional. I usually have George cut my hair and he is truly of the best barbers I’ve dealt with, George is very professional and takes people right on time. Of course including everyone else who make customers feel welcomed.

2021-09-10Mostly great people, great haircuts. Just don’t book an appointment with George if you’re not Assyrian. He’ll completely disregard it if an Assyrian drops in. Totally disrespectful and unacceptable business practice. Otherwise, I love everyone at Scissors.
