Schaumburg Christian School has been part of our family for the last 14 years. The curriculum is rigorous. This enabled my son to get into a STEM Academy for high school and is now in college studying engineering. My daughter loves the variety of classes offered in junior high. The teachers are hard working and care.

If I could give an even lower rating I would. My daughter attended this school 12 yrs ago. I thought putting her in a Christian school would be good for her. By her being one of the only black children in her class she was constantly bullied by the other students. My husband and I didnt know this was happening until recently when she broke down and told us. One thing I do recall is the faculty there. The teachers were very stand offish and I could feel the tension. My daughter said she told her teacher about what was happening and she did NOTHING! I am so glad my husband and I took her out of this school and put her into a public school where she was able to thrive. Now my daughter is in college and she is doing quite well. I would caution any parent sending their child to this school. Save that money for college because it is NOT WORTH IT!

This school is awesome! Both my children thrive at this school. They seem to be working hard to be a little more progressive than in the past which is appreciated. I think this schools gives a great foundation for academics and faith. Obviously it is up the individual to determine their own faith and beliefs as they get older, but I am very grateful for the education my children are receiving at this school.

What a great school to build a firm Christian Education. My child comes home singing Bible songs and absolutely loves her classmates and teacher. I feel she has a great connection with everyone there. Programs are led and end in prayer which I think is awesome. I appreciate everything SCS has done for my child.

When I was on look out for a school for me elder son, like every parent I wanted a secure, disciplined school and that’s what I found here. The fact that teachers and staff are approachable beyond our race or religious beliefs gives many Asian parents a sense of relief in today’s judgmental world. My younger son too goes to this school, to same teachers and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Keep up the good work.

Please read to hear how wonderful this school is.Our daughter has been so happy in her time at Schaumburg Christian. When our daughters day care closed down suddenly in February leaving families little time to find a solution, Schaumburg Christian stepped up to the plate. Even with this short notice, the school provided creative solutions to help families quickly and comfortably transition their children into a new environment. We are more than grateful for time and effort Schaumburg Christian put forth in helping us during this hectic situation.Our daughter is in good spirits every day after returning from school and is excited to go to school in morning. The school year teachers and summer camp staff truly enjoy being around children. You can tell they view children as a gift and treat them as such.During the school year my daughters day was rich with various academic, religious, and social development activities. The school has excellent indoor play areas that are bright and engaging. My daughter loves to share her experiences in Tunnels!We were also impressed with the Summer Camp program. The Summer Day Camp program included too many fun activities to count, including weekly field trips. There are also enrichment activities that children can be signed up for throughout the summer. We were able to stay informed and see pictures of our daughters activities through Facebook. At the end of the summer, campers receive a beautiful yearbook for the summer day camp program.It is with a heavy heart that our daughter has to leave Schaumburg Christian School before the 2015-2016 school year. Because of a job location change in the family, pick up/drop off is no longer going to be feasible for us. We hope this post can help others capture a glimpse of the benefits of SCS to aid in their school search.Thank you, Schaumburg Christian School, for the wonderful memories and kindness you have bestowed on our family.

SCS = learning+having fun+meeting wonderful people+building Christlikeness.As one of the first international students at SCS (high school), I felt welcomed, found my faith in Christ, and had many opportunities to develop my character and skills.
