Nicole does my coloring and she is awesome! I get so many compliments on my hair color due to what she mixed up to cover up all my gray hairs! The color is perfect and she just does an amazing job. Have never tried bleaching my hair as its almost black and cant even imagine the damage. BUT my very smart 8 year old told me I should do pink hair because of coronavirus. So I said why not? I had the pleasure of working with Anthony who did an amazing job. I have zero regrets and will definitely be going back.
I have been going to Salon Vole for almost 15 years. The people at Salon Vole do an excellent job with my hair and are so friendly. They make you feel like part of the family! I wouldnt let anyone else touch my hair!
Anthony and everyone at Salon Vole are always friendly and they do a phenomenal job! I’ve been going to them for 12 years and my children have for 10. That’s the only place they’ve ever had their hair done.

I made an appointment I was very clear about the process my hair needed. I just moved to the area and was referred to the salon. I walk in and I’m told to leave bc the stylist didn’t have the time allocated properly to do my color. I have never experienced this before and am extremely upset.
Always a great experience. Safety procedures are in place but they do not detract from the high-quality salon experience. Maria is a fantastic stylist and the staff is wonderful.

Tony has been my go to hair guy for about 2000 years. a true artist ... i emerge from his chair looking as good as is humanly possible. receptionists charming and efficient ... its all good there.. make that, excellent!
Also have color which I am very pleased with. I would recommend the shop for its expert beauticians, cleanliness, physical arrangements respecting the Pandemic, and overall professionalism. I feel safe and well attended to at this shop.
First timer. Learned it is a family run business with deep roots in highland park. It had a real community vibe. I liked the energy and diversity of people in the salon. Nicole was my stylist and after a consult with little direction on my part, I left the salon feeling like I had exactly what I wanted... even though I didnt know what that was.
Been a client of Salon VOLE, Tony personally for 50 years. We sold our house in Highland Park 4- years ago and moved away, my return to the area was intentional and made special arrangements to get back to the outstanding service, attention to detail and personal care for me. 2021-05-19I love this salon! I use to think cutting curly hair vs straight hair was the same, but after finding Emily, I found what a difference an experienced curly hair stylist can be! The atmosphere and people there are so friendly and so helpful! 10/10 would highly recommend!

2021-01-13I Love Amanda at Salon Vole. After leaving California I had a hard time finding a hair guru that really got me. My first year here I actually waited for business trips to get my hair done in CA.And then I found her. Amanda has such a creative genius with hair cuts and color. I can come to her with ideas and she knocks it out of the park. She is always super straightforward with what is going to work or not work with my hair type.The salon itself is located super convenient with lots of parking nearby. It’s clean and super friendly.

2021-01-19Haircuts with Danny are consistently great. The entire staff are friendly and welcoming. My son and I have both been getting our hair cut here for years. The place is always very clean, and ever since Covid they are taking temperatures and sanitizing to keep everyone safe. Highly recommend Salon Vole and especially Danny V.

Anthony knows everyone by name even customers of another stylist. I always get a great cut, color and style. The support staff is great also. I highly recommend Anthony and salon vole’.

I love how they have taken every precaution possible to keep their clientele and staff safe while visiting the salon during this Pandemic. Its great to go to a salon where everyone has talent and professionalism and will take care of you whenever you need them! Carmen is wonderful at providing a relaxing shampooing, too. 2021-07-20I booked the appointment for 4:45 then they pushed me back to 5. I had told them I could not do any later. They didn’t get me in until 5:15- but the hair washing lady was not busy and could have started me earlier. Haircut is fine , but do not go here if you try to keep a schedule.
