The poor old bridge is in decline.Ever since the Festival has moved out into town no money has made its way to the upkeep of this Historic site. Sad to see it slowly decay.The bridge is missing some planks in the floor of the bridge and mowing of the surrounding site has gone away. Several trees that have died need cut down.I really dont know the reason behind the neglect but would love to hear an explanation.Maybe I can get the Local Paper to do a story behind it all. It could raise interest in getting folks into the preservation of the bridge again. Saving History is a great part of Education.

Dont go here. Its closed and youll trespass. The bridge is not fixed at all which is why its closed. I was approached by the landowner and I apologized him for trespassing. They should take this off the map if anything.
