Everything was OK until the morning I was sitting down in the lobby next to the front desk at 9 AM to about 10:30 AM 10:30 AM check out is that 11 AM. At 10:30 AM the front desk called me to let me know that my room had been cleaned out because I left some things I walked over to the desk let her know Im still here check out another 211 I get my belongings and notice that Im missing items. I asked the front desk can I help they chose to call the police I explained to police that my things were stolen by the housekeeper they did told me that Im gonna be trespass do to me making complaints I will never stay with this hotel chain again
Curious to hear all these whiners. Ask for a room key before you book next time. And please, shut up, whiners...you make life difficult for those of us who like to follow the lead of such grand thinkers as: Warren Buffett, Elon Musk, Matthew McConaughey, etc., etc., etc.Dem boys aint whinin bout nuttin, honey. Theys keepin dare brains clear for dem good thots!Kudos to Ramada...keep up the good work!
The previous reviews of this place had me pretty worried to bring my small family, but neighboring rates were much higher so we went with Ramada. The front desk folks were very friendly, allowed a 30min early checkin, and the room is clean and everything seems to be functional. I live out of hotels when I work and tend to check everything before I settle in, hence the messy bed. I don’t really like a wall of mirror for privacy, but it’s a small gripe. 3 stars because the rooms/hallways could be a little cleaner, and the remodel / repairs don’t seem to have made it to the rooms.
This place was awful!!! Although the staff were polite, I had to wait over a half hour to check in. I think the desk person was also busy trying to do other assigned responsibilities. My room smelled terrible. The sheets did not appear clean. The pillows were terrible and smelled. There was bubbling in the ceiling from a leak on the third floor. The tub was stained black with dirt. The bathroom sink caulk was peeling and the fixture was pulling off the wall. The carpet was dirty, the drapes in disrepair. The whole place is outdated and run down. The hair dryer in the bathroom did not work. I called and was told there was no maintenance man and they did not have an extra one I could try. It appears that several of the rooms were being rented out not as a hotel but for residence, people were loitering around the property. My room was not serviced by housekeeping. I called to inquire and was told that there is not housekeeping, only on Mondays! I have never stayed in a hotel with no house keeping, did not think that would be something that was not included with a typical hotel stay. For $70 a night I would expect to have some bare minimum cleanliness and the property to have better maintenance. It was not worth the money or any money in the current state for that matter. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also, at checkout they were unable to provide me with a receipt/bill. They could not print one out because the printer was not working, they could not email me one because I had booked through expedia and their email was in the field and they told me they could not change it. They could not even give me total on my bill, very strange!!I am so disappointed. I have always had good luck going through expedia, sadly not this time.
It was a disaster from the start. We arrived after a 10 hour drive to be continued the next morning for another 10 hour drive. The lobby reeked of either diarrhea and or puke combined with cleaning fluids. Should have turned around then but we were very tired. We were put in a room next to the public area for breakfast/vending machines and a washer/dryer. I pulled the sheets down and they were disgustingly stained with things I don’t want to discuss. I removed the sheets and returned them to the front desk. The woman was apologetic and offered to give us another room but my granddaughter was already in bed so she handed me a pile of clean sheets and cover and I remade the bed. The bathroom faucet wouldn’t shut off and dripped continually. Everything was sticky and the room felt dirty. About 2:45 am a group of 12-15 people decided to party at a picnic table about 10 feet from our window with lots of beer, laughing and clapping. I’d had enough around 4am and called the front desk. My husband snapped a picture of them for proof which prompted them to start knocking on our windows. We tried to get back to sleep but had no idea if these people would leave us alone so no sleep. The pounding of people walking in the hallways was non stop. We left around 6:30-7:am. This was the most uncomfortable night I’ve ever spent in a hotel. I will say the young man at the front desk who broke up the party was very polite and helpful. We will not be back.
Positive: Nothing Negative: First our rooms werent ready at check in they asked us to come back at 5pm. Then they told they didnt have my reservation but they had my mother in laws which was my 2nd room on my reservation. Now today I checked my credit card and they charged me 160.
Set up a 2 night stay at the Ramada as i am an relocated employee at Rivian. Called to ask if the other adult accompanying me could get the room before me. Very simple, yes or no question only to met with nothing but a condescending attitude by an individual who later identified as supervisor; Geri Barnes. Arrived in person to get the hotel room only to be met with the same attitude and to be berated. Telling me she wasnt the one who i talked to, to set up the reservation. She offered to stay else where if i didnt want to be civil and i gladly accepted. Later looked at the reservation email sent the day before, only to find her name on the bottom! There are plenty of good options in the area, very close by as well. This is one to be looked past, dont spend your money here.
Extreme disgust. From the start the experience was poor. The key provided to us was dirty. When we walked into the room, everything was dirty. The coffee left in the room was used/left opened. The coffee maker did not work as it was missing pieces. The door to the room had a huge gap-letting in air/not closing properly. The bathroom had a leak and the tub was filthy. I got stuck in the bathroom as the door would re-open from the inside as it was unhinged. The ceiling has water leaks. The carpet was sticky and smelled. The bed sunk in and was extremely uncomfortable. When checking out I was charged twice and the printer didn’t work I was promised a receipt and I am still waiting 5 days later for a copy. The staff “cleaning” the rooms was seen dragging the sheets on the floor from room to room. This is extremely unprofessional in an everyday business but most importantly during Covid. I will never ever stay at a Ramada.
The sheets were not clean, dengy with stains. Looks like someone had slept in the bed and the top sheets were just pulled up. There was hair in the tub. Stains on the walls and the stand that was in the room. We did not stay, checked out within 10 mins of checking in.
This entire property is a dump. Broken fixtures, completely unkempt and unclean, flooding tubs on the top floor (great place for your jacuzzi suites), zero Covid protocols, towels were not clean in the room... Far too many issues. Will not stay at this property again. Staff made it very clear upon check-in that they had no time to discuss any concerns with us. Will not stay at this brand again.
The staff was so kind and helpful. The cleaning crew were very FRIENDLY. 👍 and the rooms are very beautiful. The lobby felt safe and very clean as well as the rooms. A++ FOR THE CLEANERS....I didnt catch any names however they were polite and respectful. BEST HOTEL FOR A VERY GOOD PRICE. COVID RULES WERE STRICT. I felt safe with my children and grandfather. Thank you so much for the hospitality.
This hotel is beautiful outside, and that is all. From the moment we walked in, that beauty was gone. We were given a handicapped room, by the back stairs where the door was left propped open. Trash bags lined the floor in the hallway and the smell was horrible. Got to our room, toilet seat was broken, toilet paper holder broken, sheets were stained, honestly we stayed at alot of hotels this week and this is the first we checked for bed bugs. We slept and got up to leave, the same trash was still in the hallway and smelled worse so we took that open stairway. We let the front desk know about the trash and that the room didnt have a remote control, which was okay for us we could reach the high TV but if we had been in wheelchairs we couldnt have reached it.
I know its been years since Ive stayed at a hotel, but is it really supposed to be this bad? The website said there was a pool, fitness room, mini fridge, microwave, alarm clock, etc. None of those things are here. Not even an ice machine. Oh, and making the handicap accessible room on the 2nd floor at the far end of a long hallway makes me think Ramada doesnt really give a damn about my comfort & safety. At least it was cheap and I only stayed one night.
Positive: It had a room available Negative: I chose for the pool, breakfast, rep& price. This place lost on all&cost $---!?How dare u charge that when the pool not open in 4 years no breakfast, no staff found for over40 minutes, toilet dont flush, tub stains, no ice machine. Refund!!!!
I should leave more reviews bc I’m ashamed the one I’m leaving is a 1 star. I had been driving cross country and wanted to make a reservation on the way so I could actually get a room. The pictures did NOT match website at all. Horrible smell in the lobby with rude staff and the hallway and room didn’t smell too great either. For what I got I would expect to spend 65 for the night, not 125. Please read the reviews before booking, which I didn’t do since I was driving.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Smelled extremely strong of cigarette and marijuana smoke even though the room is supposed to be no smoking. The fire alarm went off, probably because of the smoking. The furniture looked rough. The chair was falling apart, the remote control for the tv didnt work , and even using the buttons on the tv unit itself didnt work. The worst part was I kept smelling urine. I was lifting up the skirt around the base of the bed to check to see if I could figure out what it was and the smell of urine was so bad I could not sleep in that bed. There was no phone in the room, so I tried to call the front desk. The phone rang and rang but nobody ever picked it up. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I cried it was so bad, and I am not that difficult to keep happy. I am just so scared of getting bed bugs from this place! We have learned our lesson and will be letting Snaptravel know not to send people to this hotel.
This was extremely disappointing! I purchased a suite with a jacuzzi tub. As we walked up to the building we witnessed a young man openly smoking a blunt and cursing on his phone at the front door. Then my wife was greated rudly by the staff. Not to mention the front door was broken. Then it gets even better. When we first walked in the room, it reaked of smoke. We looked up and found a bag was tied over the smoke alarm in our room. Then my wife was horrified when she glanced into the tub to see it was absolutely disgusting. Ive never stayed in a Ramada in such poor condition.
Im not a picky guy but no way Id stay at the Ramada limited in normal again. In my 4 nights there I saw:1) drug deals in the parking lot with people doing hard drugs in the lot2) the room had a broken desk, shower rod and toilet seat3) my entire level smelled dirty, with trash sitting outside many of the rooms4) ac unit made some pretty terrible noise5) Not sure if its normal now, but I didnt get fresh towels every day, had to go to the desk to get towels.
I booked through Priceline express deal. This hotel was rated 3stars, absolutely not! Should not get a rating. So to check in you check in through bullet proof glass.this should had been the first tip off. My travel companion went asked to see our came back checked in. Went to room. Elevator smelled like someone used it for a bathroom, the second floor smelled very strongly of pot. The room was not clean dirty clothes and other things on the floor. They had no toilet paper to put in the room. The guest sitting in the parking lot looked very shady. The two rooms next sounded like a party going on. Checked out could not stay and went to the Best Western.
Positive: At this moment, nothing. The GM says she¿d handle the accidental overcharges that front desk made at check in, and I¿m still waiting on that money to be returned. Negative: I prepaid for the room online, At check in the hotel charged another $100 to my card. the front desk said the GM would handle the mistake herself that day. I¿m still waiting for that money to be refunded.
Walking in, you think you need a gun to get passed the front doors of security. Lady in the office was nice. Although, the lobby was decent, they are under renovations currently. But, our rooms heater/air conditioner had food stuck in it, it squeaks the entire time its on, when heat is on it smells like its burning hair. The bed sheets had brown and body fluid stains, and hair on them. Did not use them. The tile in the bathroom is coming up and broken. The furniture is warn and dirty and peeling. All the mirrors are dirty. The microwave and mini fridge are dirty. Theres food and dirt in every handle of furniture. The bathroom air filter sound slike its going to fall from the ceiling. There was toothpaste on the room key when given to us. The towels were off white and there was some funky stuff on the wall in the bathroom. Needs so so so much work. Do not recommend.
We asked for an upgrade to a room with two beds and when the manager Josh was called he refused to help us out. Now our whole day is inconvenienced and we have to find a new hotel to stay in. I asked if they could please make an exception but they won’t help us. Also, when we went into the room it smelled awful, there was chewed candy in the floor outside the door and it is very hott inside the building. I’ll never stay here or recommend it again. This is not good customer service.
Room was clean and the front desk staff was doing their best in a challenging situation. But the bed was very hard, actually hurt my back and the decor made me think Ramada was sending their old stuff to Bloomington for reuse. The linens and bathroom were clean. Budget stay
Clean rooms, and courteous staff. It was undergoing renovation when I stayed but overall still clean. Pool however was NOT heated. As a matter of fact is was very cold... So cold my nieces were shivering and lips turned blue after only being in it for a short period of time.
I felt duped. This hotel advertises a pool and breakfast but they are not available presumably in response to CoVid. I stayed at Wydham property in Galesburg, IL the night before and breakfast just no waffles. If you no longer offer a pool or breakfast be forthright with that so I can choose to stay somewhere else where those amenities are offered. Playing your bait and switch game diminishes the credibility of your property and the Wyndham brand. Its not mandated CoVid response; its management being cheap. Also, make it clear on your website that a hefty security deposit is required. I was surprised, and not in a pleasant way, to discover that at check-in.Room was OK except for the toilet seat. The exposed wood on the underside is off-putting and odorous.
Pros:Nice hotel in decent location. Friendly staff, nice lobby clean and quiet atmosphere. Decently sized free complementary morning breakfast. My room was clean and nicely maintained, double room had two large beds, a tv, a mini fridge, and a little coffee pot. Pool is located indoors.Cons:They require a $50 deposit which is refundable but could take 3 days to a few weeks to get it back.Pool was small with a maximum of 3feet in depth, pool was also not heated temperature of water was a bit chilly.
Stayed twice. Both times they put a 50$ hold on my CC that lasts 5-7 business days. For a not so great room. No fridge in the 1st room. 2nd was a microwave and no fridge and the coffee maker was missing the plate that holds the pod😡. No breakfast although the advertise. Not even pre-packaged! Elevator permit is expired. Not worth it. Husbands brand new car was hit in the parking lot and of course the cameras dont work! Go spend your hard earned money somewhere else!
Stayed here for two weeks... Started noticing bug bites... Confirmed that they were indeed bed bug bites at front desk. No money back, no call back from management to apologize for inconvenience. Place is run down and needs to be shut down by corporate. Room was dirty and smelled really bad. Had to ask cleaning staff numerous time to change sheets and do to cleaning. Apparently, the cleaning staff does know what clean means.
We arrived late and was greeted by a friendly worker. He gave us a different room because we wanted a refrigerator. The room was very nice. Everything was very clean. Pool was nice. Bed was extremely comfy. Shower had good water pressure. Very happy with our experience.
The lady and the front desk was so frazzled and overwhelmed she kept tripping over her words and not explaining things. She stopped helping us in the middle to go help another guy. She was still folding towels for certain rooms and had a list of room numbers. They have 5 different routers for wifi and none of them are fast or effective. Trying to do homework for college online classes and the assignments were taking over 5 minutes to load and even then freezing. The rooms are small and not really very nice.
We do not travel much but when we do we try to keep things cheap. This hotel was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in for this price. The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. They have a pool, WiFi, a ton of selection for breakfast! The beds were very comfy along with pillows. I could not believe we payed this price for this hotel!! We have spent way more for much less. We will look for these hotels the next time we travel. I was very impressed!!
The front desk person was very kind, courteous and attentive, and the WiFi worked very well. However, the pool that was advertised is closed indefinitely, and there were tiny bugs around the cereal in the breakfast area. It was reasonable for one night, but I can’t recommend the hotel.
Room was very nice and clean. We were on the 2nd floor. Our floor was quiet but we could hear whoever was above us running back and forth. It would of been nice to have a listing of channels for the TV. Very disappointed in the pool. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was because they had a indoor pool. First the water was freezing!! And the description said heated pool well let me tell you that water was cold. I will say it was clean but way too cold. Also by the picture of the pool on the website I was expecting the pool to be much larger and deeper. Very disappointed. The pool as very very small and only 3 feet deep. Breakfast was ok. Biscuits and gravy were good but some of the biscuits were hard. There was no fruit and only hard boiled eggs no bacon or sausage. We were there for 2 days and thought maybe they would have scrambled eggs the next day but they didnt. They didnt replenish the muffins or the bagels. We also had to look for more creamer and coffee lids ourselves. Seems like they could us some more help.
I been here three days and 8 have two more left. The staff has been very polite and helpful. The staff that cleans does a great job and has no problem with reasonable request, ie only towels and a vacuum versus a complete clean. I have enjoyed my stay here and would do it again. This place feels clean
Ehh,Ive read other complaints about stained bedsheets, well low and behold we got one too. It was the size of a half dollar and was dark brown in color. Seems they have made no effort to throw sheets out???The fridge in room had a coolade stain on front door (red). The rest of the room was fine. Service was acceptable, but they charge you a deposite of $50 on top of you paying room??? I get that if this was a resort or fancy hotel but its neither. Why not just hold a cc number for back up upon stay? Thats what most do.If your just staying a night its ok, its reasonable prices and decent location. This is a no frills stay.
Pool freezing and way too much chlorine- kids coughing like crazy after 10 min. in the pool. The rooms smelled and we had to move to 3 different rooms to find one that didnt give me a headache. Customer service is poor- we had to plunge our own toilet and the credit card used to hold the room has a hold on it for up to 10 days, even though it was not used to pay that way. Management just basically said oh well that is the way it is. Very disappointed. The only good thing was breakfast. Wont stay there again
The negative experience started the moment we checked in. After having confirm six weeks ago that the hotel had a room that would accommodate my disability, I found out that this was not the case. Employees themselves are not aware of what they could offer a disabled person. This lack of knowledge could really harm someone with a disability, as it could leave them unable to find a room that could meet their needs in any fashion. Because I was not able to find a hotel that could meet my needs, we decided to try and make the work this room work at the Ramada. When we entered the room, we noticed a slight smell, but we decided to live with it because we are tired. The room was not clean. The walls had stains and there were spots on the ceiling. The sheets had some type of stain on it, and the bed cover had a small urine stain on it. The sink in the bathroom was not clean, along with any of the surfaces in the hotel room. The air conditioning unit smelled when it was operated. During the night I heard scratching, and just before waking up, it was apparent that there was a mouse running around in a room. And then dawned on us that the smell was a mouse nest, and there was a mouse living in the air conditioning unit. I politely inform the front desk. However, I was not offered any type of compensation.UPDATE: The manager called on 11/7/17 and apologized for the error. He took responsibility for not properly training his staff. Apparently, there was a room that would have fulfilled my original request. He then reimbursed me 1/2 of what I paid, which I was pleased with.
I booked this hotel for two nights. This is the smallest queen size bed I have ever slept in,Me and my husband was literally laying on top of each other. The T.V. IS A 13in. My room was not cleaned eventhough the housekeeping said they would come back to clean it. I had no clean towels. I call down to the front desk to tell them that my room wasnt cleaned and we had no clean towels so she brought us 15 towels for 2 people and one cup of the shampoo and conditioner, like two people need that many towels. I am totally disappointed with this hotel their pool isnt working and the room key doesnt work after one use to the back door. Stay here if you dont want your room cleaned and you want to sleep in a small bed and look at the T.V. with binocular.
The room was small for 2 people the air conditioner made loud noises we had 2 wash clothes no towels no coffee filters that fit coffee machine queen bed sat low to the floor fridge was rusty made noises microwave sat on desk room was the size of a large broom closet they demanded you wear your mask in your room didnt care you had your shots and papers and get tested twice a we week for covid other than that it was great and the morning worker was very nice and helpful
The indoor pool was not open which is why we picked it in the first place. The first room had a broken toilet and it was filled with brown nasty stuff so we switched and the next one had a broken phone which had us decide it was time to go elsewhere. The lady at the front desk was super nice and understood she was also very helpful with finding a place with a pool and really nice. The price looked right but we ended up at the doubletree after all.
Great location with many dining options. Easy on and off several dissecting highways. Clean and inviting. Rooms are clean and bed and pillows very nice. Breakfast was also good with choices between fruit...biscuits and sausage gravy. ..etc. This was all at a very reasonable price.
I was not going to write a review because things happen. However, being charged a cancellation fee due to a room that was not (IMO) inhabitable is wrong. Let me define inhatible, a strong musty/moldy odor, bedding damp, very humid and perfume smell to try and cover up everything. We tried opening a window & walking around to let room air out. It didnt help. We explained to the front desk that our child has asthma & allergies. We were told that a water pipe broke last week and that was one of the rooms affected. (Explains why the tv was brand new and cord was not plugged in)Front desk offered an upgraded room, we just wanted out. We were given a cc refund and went on our way.We woke up this morning to an email stating that we were being charged a cancellation fee as a no show. Please anyone staying here in future check out room before you pay.
Front desk Allie was very nice we had to change rooms due to a heavy perfume order which did not agree with my asthma unfortunately it was the Febreeze they use, though I wonder why they need to be heavy handed with it. If your asthmatic like I am better choose another place. Although if it is not something you are sensitive to then it is a nice clean place to stay with firm beds that could also be improved upon in their smaller sized rooms.
Staying there during the week while working in the area. They gave me a Jacuzzi suite for a great price. The tub felt wonderful after a hard work day. The breakfast was really good, and a special thanks to the guys that worked nights for getting it out earlier than usual so we could get on the road for work. Also a thank you to Julie and Chelsey for being so accommodating...
We needed a place to stay after being on the road all night. It was clean and they had a very modest breakfast. After we checked I and got settled they called to see how the room was which was very refreshing to know they were interested in our comfort. I would stay here again.
I found the management staff to be awful. They do not understand customer service. I was overcharged and instead of looking at my booking at bookingI was asked if I read something on sign in. I overlooked that they did not charge me for my second night. Brought it to their attention and was basically told to bad. I asked at 1:00PM to just check out and not stay as I was not happy with the manager yelling at me, literally yelling. Was told that noon was check out. Still was fully charged for the night. (It did take me till 2 to drive back and get fully out. The room was clean but the TV had lines all through it and the pool is a mere 3ft from end to end and very small. I will not stay at this location or another ramada ever!! We travel several times a year (at least once a month) and this left a sour taste!
Very Very Very poor. We checked in, went to our room, then we walked next door to have dinner & when we came back someone else had our room. So they gave us another room that had a very foul odor that smelled like urine, the wife was in our new room as I went down to the car for a few things & when I returned to our room there was a problem with the door lock & I couldnt get back in. The manager came up with me & we tried the card a few times & once he even accused my wife of locking the door from the inside. Which she never did. And now were still in that room. I hope and pray there is no fire & this happens!!! The only reason it has a star is because I had to rate it. Otherwise it wouldnt had any stars for my rating! THIS IS NOT RIGHT IN ANY FORM!!! ESP. WHEN IT COMES TO SAFETY!!!!
Charges unexplained and not able to get an explanation for several days. Desk clerk not cooperative until I called the head of the chain. Desk clerk carried on conversation very rudely and only then was I given an explanation of charges. Desk clerk claimed She was there last three days I claimed to have been calling for an explanation. I produced phone records proving my calls. Still continued to say I did not call. Never would stay again. Poor management. Rooms were small but clean and nice but its a shame to have rude clerks.
There was white stains all over the floor and couches matted to the floor and we had a jacuzzi room we had only two towels so we asked for some in the evening and morning due to having to cover the floor and couches with towels because I was not walking bare foot in the disgusting room and since I got extra towels I get charged and extra $14 complete joke of a place! And then couldn’t even get told why I got charged yesterday had to wait till the manager get in to have him tell me! Never again at this place
Stayed here for four days and totally regretted it. The room was in poor condition, I saw ants crawling around the one night stand, the bathroom had broken tiles and grout falling out. Then to top it off the day I check out I start noticing a few small bumps on my legs thinking not much of it due to me working in a field. Over the next few days I notice more & more bite marks according to research bed bug bites can take up 14 days to appear. II work on the road and only get 3 days off at home every 3 weeks. My days off started as soon as I checked out I’ve now spent my days off steam cleaning my car, clothes, luggage, and almost everything I had with me. Once back at work I’ll have to clean my work truck & work trailer.
Josh, the manager of this hotel is very rude. I called about a charge on my card and the manager talked over me the entire phone call and refused to take any responsibility for an error they made when charging my card. I would not trust this hotel with your banking information. Stayed January of 2020.
What a joke. Called 3 times from the parking lot and no answer at 9pm on a Friday night. The phone just rang and rang until I was disconnected. Walked inside and no one answered the buzzer for another 3 minutes. Even the pizza delivery guy gave up and was leaving when some woman finally showed up. I was very rudely informed they have no rooms and was already overbooked.
Always take the grandkids to a motel as part of there Christmas gift so they can all be together swim play games. This is where wecpicked this year. Pool was small great for kids not adults only chairs 1 table I would feel sorry for anyone else who wanted to enjoy the pool cause we had 4 adults and. 5 kids... We will see how the rest of the trip goes...
ConsAir conditioner/ heater enclosure falling off, and the unit did not heat.Dark grout between the tile on the bathroom floor, especially under the sink counter top not exposed to foot traffic.Stains on beddingSmall hard pillows for beddingDisappointing breakfast selections.$25 precharge on room to cover potential damages.ProsLocation
Horrible! Horrible! The pool has so much chlorine my son could barely breath and it was burning my eyes, the girl who checked us in didnt know how to speak proper English, they were smoking in the very front by the entrance. I asked that night we checked in for late check out was told ok, next morning I was told no! My key stopped working the morning of my sisters wedding and the lady was on the phone and literally didnt acknowledge me and then when I told my key still wasnt working the 2nd time she got an attitude and said it was probably because it was by my phone. I was late for my hair appointment which held up sisters wedding and the WIFI never worked
This was by far the absolute worst hotel Ive ever stayed in if you need a place to rest your head do NOT stay in this dump dirty beds plumbing issues rude staff the bath towels had holes in them there are far better choices in hotels to stay at dont make the same mistake I did.
Update: Manager Anthony stated that he did not have the room treated and reserved the room again and no complaints. I KNOW IT WAS BED BUGS AT THIS LOCATION. READ THE REVIEWS. I attended a sleepover and the bed and sofa sleeper had bed bugs. Anthony the manager didnt care because I was not the person who reserved the room. Just made excuses. REPOSTED OTHER COMPLAINTS!AMY NEVELS 2 WKS AGO (BELOW)Shall a bug in the am on bed thought it was something else paid no mind. Than my child was dropped off school that day from room she came home with bites eveey where. She was saying all night im itchy. Than later on started noticing bites appearing eveey whereLEMMING IVORYBED BUGS !!!! Very loud in hallways called manager he said he hadnt had no complaints but never once asked what room I was in when I said Ill stay there again he said well ok thats fine with him smh..
Located in an area where numerous hotels are located near freeway exit. Room was exceedingly comfortable with mini fridge, center breakfast bar and microwave. Hotel was quiet and room was clean. Only drawback is complimentary breakfast seemed a little on the meager side.Other than that perfect stay.
I got the suite. The room is nicely furnished and I like the spa.HOWEVER: the wifi is absolute trash here. It keeps resetting multiple times a minute and it is nearly impossible to get anything done without constant refreshing, lag, double sending information, etc. If you have ANY BUSINESS THAT NEEDS DONE IN REAL TIME SUCH AS AUCTIONS OR TRADING DO NOT STAY HERE. I cant believe its [Current Year] and there are STILL places with janky lame internet. If it werent for that, it wouldve earned four stars, but Im pulling my hair out just trying to watch a movie let alone do my day trading.
Absolutely atrocious. Avoid if at all possible.Had a list of unacceptable issues with our one night stay. Sent a respectful message to the Hotel via the app I used to book -- they never acknowledged it and eventually responded after I got my credit card company to say something. They still refused to acknowledge any fault and didnt offer anything to fix the issue.-Our DVR/TV box was missing in our room so we had no TV-Breakfast was advertised as available and free but was closed down. -There were cockroaches in our bathroom.
My company which is a multimillion dollar company booked a room with COC that pays for the rooms while were broke down 0100am dropped off by taxi they informed me I need to pay an additional 50.00 incidentals fee with my credit card Now Im stranded in foyer outside of motel because of this stupid policy even though the room is paid for.

2022-07-09The absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The first room I got was extremely small, dusty, had a strong overwhelming odor like a bottle of cheap cologne had been poured over everything, and there was an open hole in the bathroom ceiling. the TV and TV stand were covered in dust. It was humid in the room. I stayed for 20 minutes then went down and asked the deck clerk to come up and smell the room. As soon as he walked in he commented on the overwhelming smell. They switched my room. The second room was extremely small and very humid inside. Even with the air on, the room was humid. The second room also had the TV and TV stand covered in dust and just a slight mildew smell. The ice bucket was covered in dust. Both rooms had spots on the white sheets. The room had no pictures on the walls and no headboard. The latter wouldn’t have bothered me so much if the room had at least been clean. There was a huge handprint on the bathroom mirror. The overall experience was uncomfortable, dirty, stinky, and humid. I am posting the photos of all the dust on the ice bucket, and the room. The two rooms I walked into were NOT anything similar to what’s posted on their website. I also found it scary that the unoccupied rooms have the doors propped open. When I went to the first and then the second room, doors were already propped open. That can easily turn into a serious safety issue in my opinion. It made me very uncomfortable. I left at 5am to go sleep in my car. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER.

2022-05-19The staff here is the most unprofessional rude staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. Being someone who works night and sleeps days, I tried to reason with the last at the front desk and get into my room early. Without hesitation she shut me down. Her attitude sucks, the hotel is garbage, so I went across the street to a cleaner nicer room for the same price. Avoid this place, also once informed the health department in the bus issues especially around the food service areas others have mentioned.

2022-05-22On check in it would be nice if the person checking us in coukd refrain from chewing gum. We expected a microwave in our room but were told only some rooms have them, contrary to what the website says. Also when you go to the website it says hot breakfast. Not so. Our room happened to be flooded so we were moved. Our room was next to the laundry. It was like a motor bike being reved up for about 5 minutes every hour or so. Barely got any sleep. The cleanliness is below my standard by far, a little bleach in the bathroom would go a long way. The lady who moved us to another room was very pleasant.

2022-01-30This was the horrible experience!!!!! Me and my fellow dance mom decided to stay overnight because, our daughters made it to dance two of the state dance competition. The room was nasty and the carpet was old and smelly. I checked one of the beds in room 223 and it had red ants or something crawling in there so, we slept in one bed which appeared to be clean. However, when I woke up……………….I was itching like crazy. I didn’t think anything of it but, I realized the room bad BED BUGS!!! Right now I’m swollen, itchy, and mad because of this filthy room. We told the front desk person who did not seemed to be surprised. We asked about our money back and he said he would let management know!!! Please if you are thinking about stay —don’t!!!!!

2022-03-22Disappointing would probably be the best way to describe this place. I remember back when Ramada meant classy... Not anymore, I guess. Walking in the lobby and eating area was updated but not much else. The lobby stunk a bit, and when I stepped into the elevator, you could tell exactly what was being smoked. The room appeared nice when I walked in, but the full wall mirror weirded me out immediately. I checked more than once, hoping it wasnt one of those two-way mirrors. After a few days, I noticed more and more areas where you could tell someone unqualified to make updates as making updates. Tiles were loose on the floor, patch work was terrible, and holes in the wall. I dont anticipate coming back anytime soon.

2022-05-14The one star I am giving only because atleast there was a washroom in the room. The room was way too small, there was no microwave. Breakfast was not good, boiled eggs looks like expired because of taste, coffee was worse and felt like they as being cheap did not put enough ground coffee in there.I was expecting Ramada was a big name but this Ramada Ltd is not good. I checked out after two nights.Although I think this was some kind of Lodge before which is now under Ramada.

2022-06-21Positive: It was in the right location for us is the best I can say. Negative: They call the room and were a bit rude reminding us checkout was at 11:00. Given we had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to show up to check us in, their rudeness about check out was unwarranted.
