I found the prices reasonable. The movers should up at the time that they had indicated (actually a little early). They were very friendly and accommodating and packed and moved our piano very carefully and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Quality Piano and use them again.
I had my great grandmothers piano moved out of my parents house and into mine. It’s an upright grand player so the heaviest they come. The movers were on time, took great care and were knowledgable about pianos. They had another couple of movers meet them at my house for reinforcements. It made into into my living room safely, no damage to anything in the house or to the piano. Highly recommend!
I called Quality Piano LLC for a last minute move of my very beloved piano. I prepared for the piano to be stored in a temperature control facility but forgot to account for moving the piano INTO the pod. I was in a panic thinking my piano wasnt going to make the move, but they quickly got us scheduled for a time that worked perfectly with our move into the pod. They arrived on time, super professional, super efficient. 10/10 would recommend.
They were the best. So professional, nice, personable. They helped us move a baby grand piano in the pouring rain. Not only were they so pleasant about it, they were very polite and walked us through tips on set up and care (and made us laugh a few times, too). Where in the world can I begin?! Quality Piano LLC took what could have been an extremely stressful move and made it easy as can be. We moved our 26-year-old grand piano across the country, and it couldnt have been less stressful.Jaime was super responsive, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Eddie was beyond fantastic to work with over the phones and ensured I was always in the know. Between the two of them they helped plan a move from Chicago to Phoenix - in the middle of the winter, no less - and it couldnt have been smoother.The piano arrived on time, and didnt have a scratch on it. Look, if youre reading this, then youre doing your research, and good for you. USE. THIS. COMPANY. TO. MOVE. YOUR. PIANO! Its stressful, especially if it has as much sentimental value as mine does to me. If you use Jaime, Eddie, and Quality Piano, that stress level will drop exponentially.
Quality Pianos movers were very professional and friendly. They are a family owned business and made us feel as if we were a family member as well. The movers moved our upright piano from our home to our daughters home. Placed it exactly where she wanted it to go. This was our first time using this company. I would highly recommend their services. It was a wonderful experience all the way from my initial call with Eddie to the 2 movers (I apologize I dont remember names) who picked up our piano and delivered it safely. Quality Piano has been very responsive to my emails and is quick to answer all my questions. Theyre currently storing my Steinway grand while were in between homes. So far I am really glad to have found them. I trust theyre taking care of my piano. Theyve just been wonderful!
I had them move my piano from home to storage. The movers called 30min ahead of time to verify on their way. They showed up when scheduled. They professionally did the job quickly and safely. The 3 movers worked in concert each knowing what to do next without being told. They had the right equipment & tools. They were courteous and respectful. Fast, safe, professional and fairly priced. Im storing my piano for a few weeks before my move from a house to a condo. Quality hit the mark on all three items: communications, quality of work and timeliness. Due to rain they were delayed and communicated on a timely basis. They showed up exactly when they said they would. They moved the piano safely with no muss, no fuss and record time. Their staff was friendly and courteous. You cant ask for more.

The team showed up at the early end of the 2-hour window. The piano was out of the house within 20 minutes without a brush against a wall or doorway. The team was great - we had a fun conversation and they all had a good sense of humor. I am already recommending them to a friend who is also donating her piano to the same CPS school to which mine went. My only recommendation is that they lay a carpet or other pad on the path of the dolly. It left a superficial mark on my wood floor but I was able to buff it out with little effort. Very minor point in the overall picture. Quality Piano is very good at what they do and their pricing is competitive.

It was much much easier than I had anticipated. I had bought a second hand piano and needed it moved from its previous home to mine. I called quality piano movers (Eddie) and got a quote. He gave me a four hour window and we were to confirm the day before the move. I was told they would pick up the piano between 8 and 10 am. I got a call at 7:30 saying they were on their way. By 8 oclock they had picked up the piano. By 9 it was safely in my apartment. Very smooth and efficient. (It helped that there were no staircases involved in either location I suppose). And I paid exactly what was agreed on when he gave me the quote (and tip for the movers). The movers were friendly and professional.

I was very nervous about selecting piano movers for my white grand piano. It had to go up a flight of stairs and didnt want any damage happen to it. Quality piano LLC was top notch from the first phone call to acquire a quote through the actual delivery. They asked detailed questions regarding the home the piano was moving from and the one it would be going to in order to determine the cost and ensure a proper delivery. I was not ready to set up a moving date on my first call and the employee with whom I spoke made sure to tell me to let the person with whom I spoke next that I had already received a quote so that I did not have to answer the same questions all over again. The movers called a half hour prior to arrival as they stated they would, were on time and took great care moving the piano into our home. They were courteous and concerned about the safety of the piano as well as not damaging our floors or getting them dirty. On the recommendation of our piano tuner, I called Quality Piano to move a baby grand from IL to WI. The piano had to go up a tight, tricky flight of stairs in IL and down a slightly easier flight in WI. Despite one false start, the move was completed successfully and I could not be happier. 2022-08-12This was an awesome company. They were timely, professional, accommodating, and friendly. They moved my piano from my living room to the garage and back when I had my carpet installed. They treated the piano with care. When they were putting it back in the living room they noticed some dust on the back of it and asked me if I wanted to dust it before they put it back. The price was a little more than I wanted to pay but if you want the best you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

2022-04-22The guys who moved my piano did a great job. Dealing with the owner, Jaime, was awful. He exactly doubled the cost of the move on site when my piano was sitting on the sidewalk and it was about to rain. This is after I paid $100 for his team to do a site visit and scope out the location ahead of time (still no one knew there were stairs going into the building?). He also denied the timeframe he originally gave me (in writing), so he ran up my bill for the out of state movers who had to wait around for his team. The fact that his office called me the night before apparently supersedes his original written time commitment which I planned my move around. Its also impossible to get ahold of anyone day of the move.. they operate on a well call you.. scenario.** Yep, I was living out of state and couldnt meet onsite. I requested a site review (which you charged me $100 to do). Your guy didnt do a proper site review if he walked up 16 stairs and to inspect the elevator and didnt understand the scenario. At the very least, own up to it and refund the $100.You continue to ignore that you emailed me the following and went quiet when I forwarded this to you two days before the move to reconfirm:I can make a note to have a crew there between 8am-10am if the movers place the piano to be the 1st thing out.

2020-10-21My situation was a little unique so I want to provide some important feedback from a different perspective. Essentially, I was offered a free studio/console piano, but it was located over an hour away. My conundrum was this: Do I want to take a day off work, rent a trailer, find a couple friends, deal with the headache, and potentially damage the instrument from inexperience? Or do I want to pay a not insignificant moving fee (although well in line with quotes I received from standard moving companies) for a free piano?All I can say is, I am very, very happy I went with the latter. The crew from Quality Piano did an outstanding job with no damage to the instrument. The people I spoke with at the office were extremely responsive and accommodating. I was given a two hour window for pickup time, and the movers called me 20 minutes before the window to let me know they would be there in a half hour. Watching them move the piano up the steps on the front porch removed any remaining doubts that I had made the right choice. All I had to do was show them where to put it; no headache, no time sink, no scheduling fiascos, no damage. Heck, the piano is even still mostly in tune after the long drive!My advice is, get a quote (very easy to do online) and then decide what your sanity and peace of mind are worth. For my part, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing to move a piano.
