This Potbelly used to be good but has become terrible. Twice in a row I’ve received the wrong sandwich in the drive-thru. They get customers through quickly but good luck getting the food you actually order.
Love Potbelly but it seems like theres something up at this location. The past three times Ive gone through the drive-through Ive gotten the exact same wrong order... and it was the wrong size... I dont particularly like paying $9 for bread. EDIT: AND YOURE GONNA HIT EVERYONE WITH AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE?!? PEACE LOVE REALLY?
The employees there are clueless. Already in a few occations, I got charged twice after I paid in the app, and got charged for a reward free cookie another time. The lady who charged me wrongly couldnt care less. I was like, really? Its not worth my time to fight over a few dollars, but it does make me not want to go there anymore. I do like their sandwiches. The manager is friendly to solve problems. Just the employees there are not well trained, or just incompetent.
I wasnt happy with my food at all, I purchased the turkey club, I dont know what type of meat they use but it was very disgusting, the meat had a horrible taste to it. My sandwich never tasted the way it did from other locations, I will not be purchasing a sandwich from this location anymore.The only reason I gave it a 2 stars was because the chili was good, hot and fresh.
Stopped at this location for lunch. Very slow service! One person made my sandwich and then walked away. Another person, I assumed was supposed to be putting on the condiments, but she stood putting stickers on something. So my sandwich just sat there until I asked her to come and finish it so I could pay and get out of there.Dont waste your time at this location.
This is a really bad location. They often get orders wrong, and then when you ask them to fix it you get an attitude. The girls that work there really need an attitude adjustment.The food is also subpar. My kids grilled cheese as awful. My kid wouldnt even eat it.
Long-time Potbelly customer here, but Im very disappointed in the one closest to my house and office! They are always light on the meat, and have given me the wrong sandwich on numerous occasions. I understand mistakes happen, but theyve had some big mistakes that arent acceptable. First big mistake was my Tuna sandwich that came without the Tuna (Chris the manager gave me coupons for free sandwiches). Second big mistake happened when they forgot a sandwich (again Chris gave me coupons). Now I avoid the drive-thru and watch them make my sandwich... Today I ordered a Chicken Salad sandwich, and the guy behind the counter pulled it out of the oven, cut it, wrapped it up and handed the sandwich to me with just melted cheese (after he said something about Chicken Salad?). I asked him what it was, then his co-worker said it wasnt a bread side to go with my salad order, but that it was supposed to be a Chicken Salad sandwich. He re-made it, but put almost no ingredients on it, and didnt seem to care as I watched him make it. The chips were more filling than the sandwich. I think Im done with this Potbellys.
The girls that in the drive thru are slow & need their attitudes checked. Cause next time I will check them myself. It’s not my fault you that you got my order wrong. This location is the worst.
Drive through lady is rising me through the order. Get my order, no chips. When I try to get her attention from window her coworker says, Oh God... and then they act like I am the biggest pain in the ass because they screwed up my order.Im done with this chain. Jimmy Johns is across the street and a lot nicer.
I have gone through the drive thru maybe 10 times now and they have literally NEVER gotten my order right. Wrong soup, wrong toppings etc etc. I even double check at the speaker if they have my order right and it still comes out wrong.

The food here is actually pretty good, but the line for sandwiches is sometimes inefficient, and the service is okay. I have definitely seen better and worse Potbellys.

Trash! Takes 45 min for a mobile order. No one says anything to you or acknowledges you. They only care about their employee food and where they are sitting. Go elsewhere.

2021-09-02I just visited your store in Lake Bluff, IL to order a sandwich at around 8 PM on September 1, 2021.The guy behind the counter behaved in an extremely rude manner with me! He clearly has no customer service skills whatsoever! He was just screaming at me to take my order. It was very rude as well as embarrassing. There were other people in the store as well but he did not speak to them in that manner. Please train him or replace him, I will never ever visit this store and I will inform others to do the same. I realize this location is near a college campus. Not deserve any stars for this location.

2021-09-03First time there was literally 15 minutes ago and it’s safe to say I won’t be back. Ordered the “steakhouse beef” and stated “no blue cheese”. Drive all of the way home and the def got it wrong. The bread was covered in it. I can’t eat blue cheese for allergy reasons so now that I’ve spent $16 and some change on lunch I can’t eat…. Thanks.

2021-05-23I order from this location through the app multiple times ahead of time before work and I have zero issues with my order and it is always ready on time. I actually prefer this location over my local one, the ingredients taste better, hot peppers are really good here. Never been disappointed from this location was shocked to see multiple low scoring reviews.

2022-05-04I have not been to this location for over a year due to the rude and incompetent workers that used to be there. Very happy that today, they were gone. Everything was smooth. This is possibly due to the decrease in customers I saw today. However, no receipt was provided or offered. I should not have to ask for one.

2021-08-25Said my order twice, still got it wrong, asked for no salami, add bacon.. luckilly i said my exact order because he had to take off the salami and throw bacon into the oven.. also, you dont dice your onions anymore?? I got a mouthfull of onion more than once...So the drive through reviews dont change if you go inside, which i hoped it would.. potbelly is dying

2020-06-09I normally get my lunch from this store at least 2x/week. I always get it through the drive-thru. Last week I ordered my sandwich with an iced tea. A younger African American girl took my order. When I received my food, I asked her for sugar. She appeared annoyed by the request but went and got me some packets of Equal (not what I asked for). Yesterday, 6/8/20, I ordered the same thing and the same person took my order. When she brought me my food I again asked for sugar. She got annoyed and said we dont have any. I suspected she was not telling the truth so I took the time to park and walk into the store and found three bowls. One filled with sugar packets and 2 filled with sweeteners. This shop needs to improve their customer service to loyal customers.

2021-08-14This was my first time here and I asked for the half and half powerhouse salad and turkey club. Only thing is they gave me the wrong salad. The salad they gave me had blue cheese on it!!! 🤢 I thought I was getting a diff salad so I didn’t ask them to take the blue cheese off. It’s fine, I lived... the food itself tasted good and the service was fine. The bread is bomb!!!
