I ordered online and paid online for pick up. Their hours said they closed at 10pm and when I got here the lady inside has a paper that said they closed at seven pm. She didnt even come to the window she just kept signaling that they were closed. Dont waste your time at this place.
This place is horrible, was in line at the drive trough for more than 15 min waiting just to find out their speakers were not working, we had to get off instead to place our order, not even an apology. Once inside the restaurant ppl preparing and making the chicken did not had their masks on. I was even able to see one of their employees coughing while serving the chicken, it was disgusting. I asked for half mild half spicy and to be put separate so I can know which one is which, they couldnt even do that smh! This place is ghetto and dirty, you can tell the ppl working here are so unhappy.
Can I leave a zero star review? We came for lunch and waited 10 mins at the drive thru window and boy....talk about RUDE. All they said was....hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Drive thru line was out the door. Front door was locked. No one wants to work. After 15 mins waiting to have our order placed at the drive thru, we drove to Tinley Park. DO NOT GO TO THIS POPEYES EVEN IF ITS FREE. SAVE YOURSELF!!!
This place is horrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. This store never have anything. They always running out of tenders or nuggets and don’t even specify that if you’re ordering from the app. THEN you have to figure out how to get your money back because the workers don’t even know themselves. I’d rather go to a Popeyes in the city than to come to this raggedy place
I know this cant be an isolated experience cause it has happened so many times that Ive stopped going. The worker will ask you to back up ur car after placing an order to clear the register and pocket the money, at first i felt it was none of My business but then as time went on they became a tad bit rude and the wait is ridiculous because of theyre theivery of holding cars up when u order just so that the car before u has the available room to back up. I know the two popeyes on stony island do this on a regular 74th and 87th.
Horrible experience. The employee who was taking our order was high. I had to wait 45 minutes for my order and they gave me a wrong order. Dirty kitchen, bad management. No papers for receipts, half of the stuff on the menu not available. Just don’t waste your time and your money.
The male manager’s attitude is the reason I’m spreading the word to my co workers and friends who live on this area TO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THIS location… anytime the manager closes the window on a customer due to his own frustration, this store does not deserve any profit !!! UNACCEPTABLE Customer service !
I would NEVER go to this location ever again! Staff does NOT wear masks when I mention to the employee if he/she can put one on as I’m a medical personal the person immediately got defensive and started to talk about me to there “manager”. I waited 30 min for an online order. I’m shocked a place like this is still open for business. Disgusting!
Their speaker was out in drive thru but I didnt find that out until 35 min in line and I finally got to the speaker to see the sign. They closed the dining room (locked all doors) completely at 5:30pm and were only taking orders at window once you pulled up. They didnt have 1/3 of the items I needed (again, I have been in line for 50 min at this time so I was at the Ill just take anything point). When I asked how long for spicy tenders I was told just not available at all. Well, I had already waited 50 min at that point 🤣 but I took what they had. Got home... The Mac n cheese was completely congealed and yet I paid around 6.00 for it 😞. So much for new and improved Mac n cheese. Chicken sandwich was ok, but, def not the best Ive had from Popeyes so Im not sure whats happening at this franchise in particular. Its a shame, because we love Popeyes and this franchise did not hold up.
So this is the place where your management wants to assault and threaten people in its restaurant?? No thanks! Ill take a civilized fast-food place like Chick-fil-A. Until Popeyes Corporate decides to do something about the recorded abuse by Bill Gomez, I hope charges get pressed.
I had an excellent experience at this Popeyes location! I understand that they did not have what I wanted but I think we as customers should understand that they could be understaffed, inventory did not come in. What I was able to get was delicious love their chicken sandwich! Customer service was good too & the cooks should get a raise I got an extra sauce & pickles!
Absolutely Horrible! Only person inside to order, with 3 people waiting for their order. But I had to wait 20 minutes to place my order. Then was to that they didn’t have any Mac & cheese, but I still placed an order, only to get home and discover that EVERYTHING was absolutely HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY from this location.
I placed an order online. Walked up to the store and the door was locked, swallowed my pride and walked around to the drive thru and was told to wait, so I did. I apologized to the cars pulling up, I was embarrassed, but I should have known the lobby may have been closed. After a while a young man stuck his head out of the window and told me I have to cancel my order he said they were out of chicken and understaffed. He said if I have any issues call corporate, yelling this at me in front of all of the cars that he is still taking orders from. He then told me I could always come back some other time in a car. I cried I was so humiliated.Update: 09/10I still have not received any kind of refund of my money. I keep getting the run around. Im emotionally drained at this point.
Always out of items like fries and CHICKEN! How the hell do you run out of CHICKEN!?!? Also the longest waits of any other Popeyes I’ve ever been too! Dining Room ALWAYS closed so be prepared to wait an average of 30mins in the Drive Thru before you get your order! Yes 30mins! Ridiculous
When I arrived the drive through speaker was Not working AGAIN,when I got to the window a rather large woman with NO MASK had an attitude ( and she was the manager....girl bye...)and her worker had no mask ,I informed her I had a coupon she was not pleased I had one ..this is definitely my last visit 🤷
Food is good when they have it; over half of my visits ended in me leaving as items were out of stock. Orders take a while, often twice as long necessary as others have pointed out, most often the order is prepared incorrectly and has to be prepared again. Additionally, beware of the app. I was charged for an order that Popeyes canceled.
The employees are extremely rude and unprofessional. They were out of shrimp, tenders, chicken sandwiches and there was a 25 min wait for chicken. And I only got told all of this after they had me sitting at the speaker for 10 minutes. I do not like complaining about fast workers because I was a manager at Arbys so I understand what they deal with. So for me to be posting this is saying a lot.
It seems to be fully staffed but poorly run by the franchisee. Inventory is always out of stock, theyre always short on ingredients or products. My Grubhub orders always get cancelled because the store failed to fulfill it. Avoid this one and to another location, itll be worth the trip.
Wow so the website reads they open at 10 and so does the sign on the glass door! They did not open on time I got no response to the drive through windows and the guy mopping in front of the drive through window didn’t acknowledge or respond to me attempting to inquire about the time they open. I park in the lot and see a truck with people sitting so I ask them are they waiting and they say no. Just for me to see a woman get out the truck with what looks like house shoes on with no urgency to start working. So judging by the reviews about the food and service I pretty much know not to even attempt to waste money on the food.
Ordered pickup online. Showed up at the place 25 minutes after ordering and they told me i would have to wait an additional 10 minutes. Its a fast food place. The drive through was empty. I walked and they waved me to walk through the drive through. Food sucked. There is a KFC across the street. Go there. Not here. Never going back
Don’t come to this location the Vice President bill Gomez likes minors he was looking at this 14 year old girl weird and wanted to do something with her. He also treats his employees bad and yells at them and assaults them. This location is dirty and no masks and they don’t use gloves avoid this location at all costs.
This place is a mess. I ordered few thing online for pickup and when I went home, I realized they gave me 3 chicken pieces instead of the 3 chicken tenders that I ordered. Also, I ordered side of coleslaw, but I got macaroni with cheese instead !!! This is not the first time they messed up my order. I am going to look for another place to order from next time ...
Worst experience ever, we order a 16piece spicy family meal with 2 large Cajun fries and one mashed potatoes and got a 10 piece chicken tender with rice and beans and one large fries. I’m so upset because I have a big family and this wasn’t enough to feed my kids and I paid over $50 for a chicken tender meal? Now I tried calling multiple times and no answer this place is definitely the worst. I should’ve known since sometimes when I try ordering through drive through they are always out of chicken or out of something. I wish I could get my money back but no one answers the phone there.
Their sign outside by the street advertises:11 Piece Family Meal $24.95When I went inside and ordered their ADVERTIZED SPECIAL. The girl at the counter said we dont have that SPECIAL in their system. I went back outside and double checked to be sure. The girl at the counter followed me out to check and she saw that I was correct. She said that special isnt in their system. She asked if I wanted a 9 piece. I told her No...I want the ADVERTIZED SPECIAL on the sign. Again, she said thats not in our system. I left. I will NEVER go back to that Popeyes again!
Food is hit or miss. One time I had a handful of fries for my side. Another time I had reheated chicken. A lot of the time theyre out of over half the menu, and the wait time is always really long. I drive all the way to the one near I-55 to get fresher food and quicker service.
I would give it 0 stars if I could. I ordered online for delivery and doordash went to go pick it up and they texted me this. Hey they dont have the food you ordered they only have chicken sandwiches and sides Proceeded to call popeyes 5 times and they did not answer. Then I get another text from doordash that says this Hi Amanda , your order from Popeyes has been canceled because the store is now closed. Does this mean I get a refund whats going on??????? I cant get a hold of anyone to get a refund on this. Theres nothing on popeyes website that can say sorry were closed on the website to prevent you from ordering!?!?!?!?!
In all likelihood, this is the worst Popeyes in the state of Illinois. Maybe even the worst in the country. The employees are rude and incompetent, slow, and careless. This isnt a new thing either as it has been this way for years. The owner should be embarrassed at the state of this location. Corporate needs to shut it down. Period.If you come here, expect the drive thru sign to be broken, the cashier to forget what you ordered, to have items missing from your order, out of stock chicken sandwiches, and all the while dealing with rude employees and a rude manager / supervisor that doesnt wear a mask.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to save yourself from the frustration from this place that will likely ruin your evening.EDIT: After leaving this review 8 months ago and complaining to corporate, I decided to give it another try. Maybe they heard my concern, and the concern of everyone else leaving bad reviews. Pulled up to the drive thru where I was told to hold on for about 5min. Finally ordered my chicken sandwich and a drink. Upon pulling up to the window, my hopes dropped. I saw in the back a PILE of pre-made chicken sandwiches that they had ready to hand out. They took my money, handed me the bag with the chicken and immediately closed the window and walked away without giving me a drink. I waited at the window for at least 2min for someone to come back. I know they saw me, but they stayed away from the window hoping I would just drive away. Finally someone came and gave me the drink after I told them I didnt get it.I finally get home after this already frustrating ordeal and open my sandwich to find that the breading was so soggy it was just sliding off the chicken. The mayo was separating and on first bite, I could taste that it had soured. Disgusting. The location needs to be looked at by a health inspector.
They forgot half of my order when I pulled to pay. After that I had to come back again because they forgot about the side for one of the dishes. Shrimps they gave us were so hard you could throw them at a window and it would probably make a hole. Absolutely not edible.
HORRIBLE! Food and service. I have been calling for 2 days, no answer. My biscuits were missing from my order. I ordered spicy chicken and I received mild, no flavor at all. I ordered red beans and rice and received mashed potatoes. Who manages this location. All staff need to be retrained or fired. Never again will I spend my money here, I would like a refund!
Had one of those Popeyes chicken sandwiches everyone is raving about. We ordered the spicy one and it was just like having a regular piece of chicken between a bun. I expected something outstanding like the way the people on the commercials make you think that it tastes amazing . If somebody paid me to say that it was good I would say it was good too. SORRY Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich is a hundred times flavorful than the Popeyes Chicken.
This is the worst Popeyes location. Today was the third time I had a bad experience. The first time I went they told me they had ran out of chicken and they spoke with a bad attitude. The second time I went, they told me their card reader was not working and when today I was finally able to order through the drive-thru and when I got home I realized they gave me someone else’s order. This location needs to get their act together and hire new staff. Everyone stay away from this place. I know I won’t be returning.
Worse experience yet 😪 ordered some mild tenders for my kids but instead I got all spicy no sauce and no curtosey at all,, so my kids ended up just looking at all the chicken we got not being able to eat any. These guys usually mess up at orders and I wasnt really expecting much but this really ticked me off. I really hope they get shut down till all off the workers and managers are replaced 😒
I gave them three stars not because the food wasnt good, but I think they overwhelm themselves. I orderd and it took about 40 minutes to get and they forgot a couple things. Had to call and it took 4 times to get to someone. However the manager was great, he gave us the missing items from the order. The food is good but they have to be more organized I guess.
I just came from the restaurant, i ask for spicy chicken 2 order of fries. They gave me regular chicken 3 mash potatoes and 1 order of fries! We ask the lady at the window please make sure chicken is spicy she looked in the bag and gave us an order we did not want! Now calling and no answer.
Corporate really needs to have a screen that shows what youre ordering. They got everything wrong! I tried to call to get my missing food and no one ever answers! Then I called corporate and they wanted to give me a lousy $5 coupon when I had way more missing food than that! They really need to get it together!
Sent an order ahead so I wouldnt have to wait for it. I ended up being skipped by everyone behind me ordering by the window. Finally I went inside, had been asked by all 5 employees who the order is for (mind you I communicated patiently my order number and name each time). The food was out incomplete and completely cold 15 mins after I went to straighten it out inside, total 25mins after it was supposed to be ready. It is the 3rd time I gave a chance to this location and I am not coming back.
Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. The employees have a bad attitude, on several occasions we were told they only took cash, they don’t let you order ahead of time and don’t answer the phone. With so many people looking for jobs the should invest in paying them better and get quality help. Just took my chance again and wanted to order 2 16 pice dinner and they told me I had to wait 2 hours, give me a break. This place is a dirty dive.
I ordered a 16 Piece family meal, I didn’t mind that they didn’t have any sides other then Mashed potatoes and Bean. I asked if they have Bacon in the beans or mashed potatoes and was told they didn’t. I was given my order that should’ve had mashed potatoes and beans but instead I was given only mashed potatoes No beans and the mashed potatoes had bacon in the gravy, I didn’t request any gravy and when I arrived home I noticed that my order had only mashed potatoes. I tried calling the restaurant to talk to a manager and no one answered. The Chicken was very oily and the order was very bad. Bad Service, not clean and bad management. I don’t recommend for anyone to order from this place. The staff in this Popeyes Chicken represent what type of Management they have.
Ordered online and arrived to pick up my order and they would not answer at the drive-thru speaker. I got out and tried to enter the building and all doors were locked. Luckily the corporate customer service team was responsive and refunded my order. But I will not be returning to this location.
Ive gone on different days. Once 3 days in a row. Then I went back about 3-4 weeks later, it was the same issue. They couldnt take orders because their system was down & they could only fulfill mobile orders. If your system is constantly going down, perhaps its time for a new system. Its very frustrating to go a restaurant, especially big chain, & they are consistently having issues & cant service the public. I wouldnt think its an issue if it only happened once but consistently.... it appears to be a bigger problem, which is actually unacceptable.
Today I had a medical appointment and stopped for lunch at this Popeyes. Waited for more than 20 minutes at the drive thru and there was only one car ahead of me. When I finally was ready to order they made me wait for another 10 minutes and then an employee came out to say the system was down. Sad because all Popeyes are awesome but this one has a lack of leadership and poor management. Worst Popeyes ever.

Once at the window she told me to pull up it would be 10 minutes. after 15 I went back and asked her where was my order they still hadn’t made it. The manager was very nonchalant and just said I had to wait “10-5min” 🤔. After 10 min they brought my food and it was cold. I called but like always they never answer. I did ask the manager about that and she said she doesn’t know but their phone is always disconnected.Sad because all Popeyes are awesome but this one has a lack of leadership and poor management every single time I go there they mess up my order or don’t give me my order complete. I had a horrible experience. I ordered on the app, when i went to pick up my food. They didnt have anything i ordered. Noone offered me anything else,I had to ask them now what they said just cancel your order. I said theres no way to do that on the app. They didnt know how to cancel my order or give me my money. I even talked to the manager and he told me, sorry none of us here know how to do that. So out $43 and out my food. I went back with my brother to get some kind of help a number, something. There was a nice employee outside willing to help me, because their lobby was closed at 9:15 even when the sign on the door said 10:00. The lady outside said she just started 2wks ago and she told me she could give me the number to her GM. I asked her if her manager was still there. She said yes but he never came outside! There was another couple there at the moment i was because he also had a problem and got into an altercation with the manager, there was also a cop that had to come for that situation. It was just ridiculous when i was just trying to pick up food. Thank god for the nice employee that helped me when i went back, she was so nice and actually gave me some kind of answer, which made me feel better. I spoke with the GM monday. She was very sweet and helpful. My money was taking 3 days to return to my bank though, i was told a district manager would get a hold of me but that never happened, so i called corporate on Wednesday. She was also very sweet and helpful, my money then was refunded. Idk what is wrong with the popeyes in Bridgeview on Harlem but hopefully they figure something out very soon or they will lose business. All of this just for food or my money back, a very frustrating situation.
Horrible experiences here. They order is usually missing something or just completely wrong. I understand that certain precaution are made (not ordering at the counter-online pickup only) due to covid but a posted sign should be placed somewhere. Manager simply stared at me for minutes and would not answer my question. Fellow patron notified me to place an online order.
If I could give this place a ZERO I totally would! The guy at the drive through who I believe was the manager was rude to my mother. While placing an order through the drive though we asked for a 5pc tender with a drink but we changed our mind quickly and said we didn’t want the drink anymore while still placing our order through the drive through. He snapped and got upset and said well you said you wanted a drink. So uncalled for. The speaker was also very choppy. But the girl at the window made up for it because she was super nice. But that man being what I believe was the manager was so rude. Super upset.
Very poor customers service, waited at order panel in drive through no response. Pulled up to drive through window and was ignored. A staff member possibly the store manager walked pass my car while sitting at drive through window and no one came to the window still. After pulling off from Window without being served I noticed the two vehicles behind mine pulled off as well. I use to frequent this restaurant NEVER AGAIN. DONE!!!

Popeyes customer service has been plummeting since the early 2000s and since the release of the chicken sandwich has gotten down right abusive. Ive always been a patron of Popeyes over KFC but the way the last few interactions have been at this location I might just rather go across the street.
Good food... When they get it right. Many times at this location, we have ordered standard meal deals according to their coupon. They will ask if you want spicy or mild, but when we get home, its always a mixed bag! Sometimes the white meat is cooked properly and is moist and succulent... Sometimes it is overcooked... But to have both types in the same order? Sometimes when ordering the 16 pc family meal there are 6 wings and 10 other pieces? IMO, if you pay that kind of money, you should get a proper proportion of pieces.As stated earlier, when they get it right, its very good... They just dont get it right too often.

I order off of doordash i was missing multiple items i called the store six different times no answer just to see if i can go pick up my missing items. went to the store employees had the worst attitude gave me only a drink when i was still missing half my order. ridiculous do not waste your time ordering from here unless you don’t want to receive your full order.
I placed an order online to save time and avoid lines. I pulled in got to speaker and gave my order # By the time I got to the window my order had been mixed up. I finally got my order and moved out of the way. Checked my order and was missing part of my order. Had to get back in line and wait again. Not upset but corporate should give restaurants the tools they need to keep orders organized.
It’s so sad that 8ne family meal can be a real pain for this guys and charge a lot of money just for a few PCs of chicken... I ordered today from 9001 s Harlem ave. In Bridgeview and it as a mistake. My order was incomplete they never deliver the sides ... and charge me a lot of money for 15 PCs chicken. Never again.... nice way to loose customers....
Ordered spicy chicken and spicy shrimp. Got plain on both. Plus... Employees dont cover their noses with masks. Apparently Popeyes doesnt take the virus seriously. Maybe when 250 people sure every day in Illinois? Maybe 500? You tell me Popeyes. When will you comply? Im done with Popeyes
I wish there was another one in the area because this place is terrible. The food is decent but the service and wait is horrible. There are always employees just standing around. The one manager, a young Hispanic male, is rude and condescending. There is no reason to wait 20 minutes for a 8 piece dinner when there is chicken sitting in the warmers, it just takes them that long to get around to putting it in a box.
I wish I could give a 0 thisis the worst Popeyes I have every in my life visit. The service is terrible I mean terrible. Me and my sister stopped in there 1 Sunday to order some tenders. We was not acknowledged at all, then all the suddenly someone come to the front chewing asking can I take your order. We placed our order he them stated it will be 8 minutes no thank you or nothing. We waited 13 minutes when I asked I assume he was one of the managers how long on the order he act like he didnt know. He was right there when I placed the order the cook told him 4 minutes. I was highly upset this was my lunch break and I wanted to treat my sister to Popeyes. I went up to the counter and told the lady I assume was an manager as well,that I would like to cancel my order. This lady did not even look up at me nor did she even try to act like she was concern why was this customer not happy with the service. She just took my receipt and gave me my money back which she did not give me back my correct money. This Popeyes had been open sometime this year. You would think they would have good customer service instead it feel like I was in the ghetto with stupid and unprofessional employees. I hate this Popeyes.
Absolutely terrible!!! Worst experience of my life in any establishment! Employees are lazy and condescending, especially the manager! They would not honor my coupon even though it was valid and not expired because Oh our prices went up! Bought it anyway and whatever genius filled the order gave us mixed chicken even though i clearly stated I wanted chicken tenders! Next time I want chicken, Im going to the KFC across the street and I recommend you do the same!
This Popeyes is a really bad location with potholes leading into the location site. Their drive thru speakers are really old they, and the employees can barely hear you. Employees are very disrespectful, and I’m waiting in such a long line for a long time to have such a disappointing meal.
I rarely write a review but this place, never again. I havent went to popeyes in years; always been going to KFC. With all the hype about the chicken sandwiches I decided to give them a try again but that was a bad decision. Not only were they out but they took forever taking my order and it wasnt even busy. Cashier was calling out numbers to let the customers know itll be a few more minutes when the customers thought they were being called because they were ready. Why are you calling out numbers if the orders arent ready?! Take the customers order who are waiting not call out numbers to let them know theyre orders arent ready yet.They were also out of many sauces and garlic fries and another side dish. Whos in charge of inventory?I decided to purchase the regular chicken meal and the person who gave it to me was handling the cash register and the food. Not to mention she had long nails and was touching the side dish containers and placing it with the chicken while touching/scratching her head. Who has the sanitation license in this place? Long nails and handling the register and food is against sanitation policy.Overall bad experience again for at least 5 years of not going there. My fault for going back and should have canceled my order and walked out. KFC down the street is much quicker, great service, and efficient.

Worst popeyes ! I ordered online and they said someone had picked up my order. They told me to pull forward and wait l. Then after waiting 20 minutes, I had to reverse my car and the manager tells me sorry one of the workers didnt want to take out my food. My order was still messed up in the end! Ridiculous!!!

It the worst restaurant I when to in years. The chicken sandwich was terrible at this Popeyes. They didnt even have wrapping for the chicken sandwich . They put my sandwich in a Popeyes paper bag. The chicken sandwich taste old and cold. They dont use gloves at the window.
I came here due to the Popeyes on 103 And Kenzie is still busy. Came in and ordered my food and took over 20 minutes to get a 10 piece with 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. After getting home started eating the 10 piece was like eating rocks and the chicken had absolutely no flavor this is a complete joke it was was insane how hard the breading was also the sides of mashed and red beans were a joke. this is not the first time this is happened at this location and will not frequent it again or ever. Also while here a young lady spilled her drink and admitted to it and apologized and asked for a mop so she could clean it up. The manager is a complete tool and belittled her while she stood there and tried to fix her accident.
If I could give negative stars I most certainly would. I googled to see what time this location closed and google said 11. I pulled up at 10 o’clock to the drive through and see one person standing in the enterance on his phone. I also saw someone with a headset on. I get to the speaker, sit there for 5 minutes and no one says anything or bothers to tell me they are closed. I then check google again to double check and it definitely said 11pm. I pull back up to the front and see that same employee in the entrance on his phone and he looked up once didn’t bother to look up again. I would have been okay if he would have told me the place was closed but he stood his stuck up ass there like I didn’t exist. I also saw one person who was wiping tables who just looked at me and shook her head and continued to wipe the tables. I got out my car to see what the hours were and the door said 10 pm. Google needs to update their website and Popeyes needs to give their employees a customer service course. The staff is completely rude and I would never treat a client like that.
Joey and Luis were extremely helpful when explaining integrity of the delicious and infamous Popeyes chicken sandwich. They persuaded me into buying 5 sandwiches in one visit. If corporate needs a marketing team they got their guys right here. They handled every customer with care and really put their all on the line.Joey and Luis quit. Nothing is the same anymore.
I spent $10+ on 3 wings & rice w/2 apple pies. I had to wait for the pies, which I didnt mind. I lifted the bag to get out of the car & the food fell out the bag. Usually the rice is in the box with the chicken, but the filler-bagger placed the rice on top of the box in a tiny bag & it all fell out. Oh well for my chicken meal. It ended on the ground. GOOD JOB POPEYES!!!
I’ve been here 3 times and every single time they claimed to run out of something with one of them actually being chicken. The service is terrible! The food was cold and they still gave me the wrong order. 3 TIMES!!!! I don’t know about the day but don’t go here any time after 8. 1st review I’ve ever done. That’s how disappointing this location is. Sad because I love Popeyes. I’ve been late coming back from lunch 2 out of the 3 times I’ve been. Never going back!
I came to Popeyes at around 10/15/20 1pm and asked for my mobile order that I placed through the app for a family 14pc. They assembled the order together and got it together after about 10 minutes. There was a gentleman in the back eating with his mask down and handling food at the same time. There was also another lady in the back without a mask on at all. During this COVID pandemic, I don’t take those things lightly as I’ve had family members get COVID. During the time I was also here, another lady ordered a classic spicy sandwich with no mayo and she came in angrily after the second time she received it with mayo. There wasn’t a single apology traded to the customer, and that’s the first thing you offer to them for messing up an order. I’ve worked Food industry for some years now and nothing of this experience was delightful.
What a joke! I get there at 11:40am. You would think theyre getting ready for the lunch rush.l but no. Stood in line for 10 minutes while I watch 3 employees try to get the orders for 2 people. Then I ask the group of 3 guys in front of me if they ordered yet and they said no. At the rate things were moving I would have been waiting for lunch for another 20 minutes at the least. I wont be back. Chick fil a wins!
I came to get my chicken strips and sandwich as ordered placed the order and waited a few minutes because the strips needed time to cook. Noticed the cashiers friend came in and she gave him the freshly cooked strips I was supposed to have and asked me to wait another few minutes. I was there for ten extra minutes waitingThis is extremely ignorant. This popeyes has gone down hill recently Ive been coming here for years.
Michelle, what appears to be the manager of this location is very rude. After paying almost 8$ for a meal I asked if I could have a second bbq sauce and she said 22 cents.... I come to this location very often and all of the other employees at this location are nice and friendly and have no problems providing a paying customer with enough sauce so they can enjoy their meal. However Michelles rude, crabby , unfriendly attitude makes me think twice about visiting this location. The manager should be making customers happy and ensure that the customers have a good experience so that they return. Whoever owns this location should definitely rethink who they have managing this site. As I just read other reviews complaining about her. And this is not the first time she had been rude to me which why I felt like I should leave a review. Please get rid of Michelle and continue to make delicious food and I will return.
Okay so i went to this specific popeyes like 3 different days, and different times of the day, and EACH time i went, they ran out of fries. all 3 different days. then my fiancé got home with my food and my order was wrong. the receipt was right, but the food wasnt what i ordered. i tried calling them at least 10 times and not one person answered. moral of the story, just DONT waste your time. the customer service is terrrrrrrible
I am a door dash driver trying to pick up my delivery order but the door is locked. They have signs saying the lobby is open to pick up if you are a delivery driver but the doors are locked??? It just makes no sense at all and proves they do whatever they want at this location.
Walked in watched three different workers walk past me before the first one took my order. From placing my order it was 30 mins before the girl put my chicken in the box. Its not like they were out and making more. Get home live 10 mins away the sides are cold. Worst experience at popeyes
* Asked if we could add a coleslaw to our order. Was told only because you asked nice, but I wont do it again next time... and no, she was completely serious.* Had a gut feeling to double check the order... found that the white chicken we requested was nowhere to be found. Had to go in and change it.* We ordered spicy chicken... I dont know if they messed up and gave us regular, or if we just couldnt taste it.* Chicken was VERY crispy... almost burnt crispy or really old. We couldnt tell!* Got home and looked at our receipt. We were charged a medium drink and only ordered smalls.In general, bad product, employees made numerous mistakes on one order, and the employees were rude. Dont recommend it. Go to KFC. Its right across the street.
The service was horrible they always get my order wrong and serve you old chicken that been sitting for hours. The manager was so rude and wasnt helpful at all. If you ask me they need a whole new look (new staff) I love Popeyes and spend alot of money their. Shouldnt be treated bad when I m helping you guys stay open by spending my money. Spent 26 minutes in the drive-thru to get 2 chicken sandwiches, at 1pm on a Thursday. Pretty annoying to stop to get fast food and being delayed a half an hour. 2 people parked and went inside WHILE I was at the window, they left with food 5 no idea before I got mine. Manager was on his phone while wearing gloves. Chicken for sandwiches was on counter, in container next to buns. Watched manager put his phone away wearing gloves, then started making chicken sandwiches, without changing his gloves. Whats the point in wearing them? Waited for 10 mins, not one of the two people working acknowledge me and my 3 kids. So we left!
Decided to finally try the chicken sandwich. Line wasn’t long. I’m not sure what all the hoopla is about. It was a regular chicken sammie. It was pre cooked and waiting in a foil wrapper so I don’t know how long it was sitting under the heat lamp. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff.
That was THE (WORST) Popeyes EXPERIENCE I have (EVER) had at a (Popeyes Chicken)..I so GLAD that ALL the other locations that I go to are (NOT) like the 94th and Harlem ave in BridgeView.. First of all we made our order and the server told us that he didnt have it so then we asked for French fries he said they were out of them then we asked for a certain sauce they were out of them. It was almost like everything we asked for they were out of. The food was very greasy and we werent even able to eat at. The only compliment I can give is that it was a clean restaurant but the bathroom was disgusting I couldnt even use it. Will never go back to Popeyes on 92nd and Harlem in Bridgeview ever again it was my first time and my last time
It was the first time at this location I was very unhappy. I ordered a three-piece whole wing extra crispy they gave me 5 piece chicken tender I ordered three extra crispy sandwiches and one spicy I asked him which one was spicy they said they dont know also ordered a piece of pie did not did not like that location
Ordered through the app and delivered through doordash. They told me they couldn’t fulfill my order so I got a refund. So I ordered something else from somewhere else and ended up having to cancel that because the food showed up almost an hour after telling me it was canceled. Then charged my card again.
I wish I can give it zero Stars!!! this place totally the worst will never go back gave it four chances and disappointed every time slow service lines out the door and the employees giggle and play like its recess and act like its no big thing, 11 customer complained I heard the employee say go somewhere else well the employee got their wish Im never come back here again. Before warned this place sucks.
Went there for 10 pieces of chicken he caught me off guard. And he gave me all burn pieces of chicken mad as hell so I went back and I told him and he gave me 10 fresh out of the frier for 10 pieces. always looking your food before you leave watch them before they put it in a box.

2021-08-08This store is very sad. Its really gone down hill. Today I wanted 2 chicken sandwichs. They didnt have any. They didnt have any mild chicken. I tried the chicken nuggets. This is an 8 piece. They were delicious but so tiny! They didnt have any ranch dressing. They only had 3 of their sauces to choose from. It takes a long time in line waiting to place the order. I went on Memorial day and they had no mild chicken! Holidays are popular days to get chicken. I was told their truck didnt get through. Whoever owns that store needs to clean it up and pay attention because theyre losing money. I keep trying because I really love Popeyes when its made right.

2021-06-11Ordered a 16 piece family meal (mixed spicy & mild) with Cajun fries, Mac n Cheese & Mashed Potatoes. Requested Cajun Sparkle at the window. The order was made quick and was hot when we arrived home, however, we received Rice & Beans instead of the Cajun Fries. My toddler was NOT happy about that. Other than that, the customer service was good and the turn around from when I ordered in the drive thru, to when I got the food was less than 10 minutes. (Stopped in at 4:30pm)

2022-06-07Went around 630pm inside not opened drive thru only 1 car and I became hesitant. Ending up ordering because I have had a good experience here before. When I got up to pay for my food exact coins, dollars they have to give back. I asked to add on a few items and they were accommodating. Checked food everything was there. Got home 15min drive and food was piping hot and juicy and biscuits soft. I am pleased and thanks for my making my experience a good one.

2022-03-09This location is the absolute worst. Completely wrong order, missing items. Ordered 3 orders of mashed and got 4 orders of fries. I have never gone here and not had an issue. Was even once chased by the employees into the street because I took a pic of them closing the location 3 hours early. If my kids didn’t love the food I’d never go back. The location on 56th and Harlem is 1000000x better, it’s just much further

2022-07-12This is the worst Popeyes in the state! They never have change! Drive thru speakers is either broken or not working at all. They are always out of something! I only come to this location maybe twice a year and each time it’s horrible! The staff is miserable it’s not their fault but they don’t make it any better for themselves when they forget to mention they can’t break $100 after you ordered $50 in food! I hate to use the word ghetto but it’s giving very much that! I’ve lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years it’s a running joke for the locals at this point! I have a friend who’s business is 2 blocks away from the bridgeview location they will drive to countryside when they want Popeyes. I have no clue how this place stays open, out of the last five times I went I only left with food twice! To the owner take some pride in your business it’s sad how little you care about your business, your staff, and your parking lot it looks bad do Better!

2021-03-30Honestly they need better employment. I just went to order a 16 piece. Wanted them spicy. The young lady said they didnt have none. Only mild. Then she refused to give my receipt. Got to my destination and found a spicy piece. So are employees even trained properly. To have good customer service and know what type of chicken they have?

This popeyes is ridiculous, online it says they close at 10 o’clock, I’ve tried coming here multiple times as much as two hours before they close and they claim to be closer!! Their microphone never works and they’re always out of something!!!! And even when you do get your food, if you’re lucky enough to come when they’re “not closed,” the food is cold and dry!!! don’t come here, some of the laziest workers ever. Safe your money and the drive. Go to the KFC across the street if you want chicken!!

2022-03-03Every time I come to this location, only location on my area, it is always super slow! I always wait in line 30+ minutes, because my son loves popeyes. The speaker never works, so orders cant be placed ahead of time, and the inside is always closed, so you have to wait in the long drive thru that moves super slow! This location is losing out on alot of business because of this. I dont know if its a management issue, or staffing issue, but this location needs alot of work.
