THE OWNER USED TO BE A NICE GUY BUT HES BEEN STRUGGLING WITH HIS COKE ADDICTION LOSING THE MARINA AND WHATEVER LIFE HAS THROWN AT HIM, BOATER BEWARE THEY ARE STEALING PARTS OFF OF BOATS REPAIRING OTHER BOATS WITH THEM OR SELLING THEM I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! THEYRE SELLING BOATS WITHOUT TITLES😳😳 OVER CHARGING FOR REPAIRS, THEN PUTTING MECHANIC LIENS ON BOATS SO THAT THEY CAN TAKE THEM FROM THE OWNERS AND SELL THEM FOR PROFIT TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL WE WILL BE IN COURT SOON, I WILL UPDATE THIS POST. I HAVE PHOTOS OF MIKE THE OWNER STEALING MY DISTRIBUTORS OFF OF MY BOAT AND I ALSO HAVE A VIDEO RECORDING OF HIM ADMITTING TO IT AND ALSO THREATENING TO SELL THEM I WILL KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED.

Ive been at Pier 11 for many years and Ive had no problems, it is a great place to store your vessel and the price is excellent

Mike,I just wanted to say thank you for taking such good care of my beloved boat when I was at your place.I would highly recommend your services to any other boaters who might be in need of a boat yard in Chicago or any other type of repairs done.Im sure Ill be needing your services sooner than later.

I took my boat there in June of 2017. Had it diagnosed. At first they told me it was the upper out drive then after a couple weeks and no calls from them I call to see was going on and they tell me they were looking for a used part. When I tell them Im getting involved in the search they tell me they need both the upper and lower our drive. So I just wait and wait and wait. Finally a year and a half go by and nothing. But wait they had the odasety to charge me storage. Finally I call and say Im purchasing the part on my own. Which by the way only took me a couple minutes. For less than half of what they had quoted me. Then I go to pick up the boat after yet a whole bunch of disagreements. They charged me more than we agreed. And when I go in my boat which I didnt inspect when I picked it up they had stoled my entire audio system, radio speakers 2 tvs. Not only that the work they did wasnt done right the prop does not go up and down which is something they had to fix. The worst part of it all is when you call for anything. The receptionist which is the owners daughter is the worst customer service rep in the world she hangs up on you wont ever call you back and denies everything flat out to your face. This is the first review I have ever left in any form. The absoult worst experience ever. I am currently filing a law suit and police report against them please please stay away from this place. It will cost u double

We moved our boat from the river, where we had been over 25 years, to Lake Michigan, and we choose Pier 11 for our Winter storage location. We have never regretted it, and feel like Bill and Mike consider all of us in the marina family, and treat us all the same. Full service, caring people and a good staff, make us very happy. We highly recommend Pier 11, and plan to make this our home storage location indefinitely! If you want to be where people really care and want to make you comfortable -- Pier 11 is the place!

When I first bought a boat in 2007 Mike and his team were the only ones who worked on my boat and did excellent work. They are fair and reasonable priced.
