Physicians Immediate Care in other cities:
A month ago I took my child to be seen here, everything was good, front desk person was nice, RN and doctor also. Yesterday, a very mean and frustrated front desk person, after I submitted the registration on the phone, she called me to ask if weve been here before, and if with the same insurance. (We were in the car, waiting). I said yes, same everything. She tells me she is almost done with the registration on her part. After 2 minutes, she calls me to tell me that they dont take the insurance there. I tell her we used the same one last time, no problems, but she just said no. She just dismissed us, my son not feeling well at all. I would like to know who didnt want to work yesterday anymore? By the way, waiting room was empty, just one person walked in after us. I should call the insurance, make sure they dont say weve been seen. Very disappointed!
The staff here is amazing! They are so kind, respectful and attentive. The receptionist at the front desk was very nice to me, and Kelsey and Michael were easy to talk to and listened intently to what I had to say to best help me with my issue. Kelsey even took the time to call me after my visit to reconfirm a medication question. I was in and out of the facility in under 30 minutes. The wait time with and without an appointment is not long at all. Thanks!
If I could leave negative stars I would. The nurses were not nice at all. They denied me a pcr test for covid due to being low. Even though I have symptoms. Which makes no sense. Even though they were aware I made a appointment. I had to wait longer than the appointment was set up.
This review is for the many times this Immediate Care and its staff exemplified the VERY BEST in Patient Care! I have never been there and had a problem with any of the staff. Every individual has been there for me and does there job extremely well. Each staff here is not only professional and caring, but every one of them is engaged with the person (people) who need their attention. I wholeheartedly believe this Immediate Care should be the model and train other Immediate Cares.Thank you for taking care of me.Paul J.Jefferson Park
I was a walk in with a possible wrist fracture. Staff very considerate and friendly. Wait time was less than 30 min. Physician was very gentle and caring. X- rays taken and confirmed fracture. Physician gently applied splint.Returned week later for cast. Made appointment for visit- was taken with no waiting. Physician applied cast with no discomfort. Very friendly and caring. . Wants to see me in a couple of weeks to check on the healing process.I highly recommend this urgent care facility. Friendly , caring, and listens to your problems.
I can’t speak on behalf of the doctors/nurses because I was never seen. But yesterday (10/20/21) I did a walk in on my lunch break, I took off an extra hour to make time for this because I was experiencing a lot of pain in my abdomen and I know these visits can take a while. I get checked in and waited for 30 minutes. The. The girl at the front desk told me it have an outstanding balance and that I’d need to pay it in order to be seen. I told her it was paid, and I had the email to prove it. She told me to call their billing number which I did, spoke with the girl and she told me it was paid and I had found the email saying it was as well. I also asked her why this wasn’t brought up when I was there a few months ago when I was seen for a work related injury. The woman at the front desk was not helpful at all, and she just gave me yes or no responses or completely ignored me. I get it, you guys are tired and overworked, but as someone who also works in the medical field I would never treat a patient that way. I was never seen, luckily I got in for a virtual visit through my primary. Again, this review isn’t about the doctors or nurses there, just how the company works and the woman at the front desk.
I had such a great experience with my son here. The nurse who took us to our room was very helpful and kind to us. The doctor who saw my son was super friendly. Overall a great experience. Thank you for being kind to us especially during a pandemic. You guys are appreciated.
Very convenient and professional clinic. I was able to do a walk in a couple hours before closing time and get some x-rays done for a suspected rib fracture, get a proper diagnosis, and got to consult with a Dr who was able to give good advice and prescribe what was needed to start healing properly. They had quick seamless communication with my pharmacy, and I was all set within a few hours same day. I plan to go back for check up soon and wouldnt hesitate to visit them again for any other medical issues where I can afford to avoid the ER.
Michael(Doctor) was very passive aggressive. Michael strikes me as a Doctor who chose his profession, not to save lives but to save his bank account.I was not shown any real compassion or care. I wouldn’t seek his care if he were the last living doctor in the entirety of existence. He didn’t treat me as a whole. He checked for what he wanted and that proved to be enough for him to move forward and release me without exhausting all options. Even after knowing I specifically requested an x-ray.
Arrived early for my appointment. Waited in car as asked. Never received a text to come in for my appointment so I walked in for an update and they said I was up next. Never received a text after that and next thing I know they closed their doors for the night and no one answered when I knocked on the door and called. Terribly disappointed. Waited for an hour+ with no responses from them. Still haven’t received a text……. LOL!
This was the first time I used an immediate care facility. I fell and injured my wrist and needed to check if I broke a bone. The staff was very professional, efficient and friendly. In less than an hour I was signed in, x-rays taken and seen by a doctor. Each step of the process was explained to me, from the front desk staff, the technician and the doctor. I would use Physicians immediate care should the need arise again. I strongly recommend Phsicians Immediate Care.
I had a great experience with this facility on Northwest highway. The staff was very polite and friendly. The reservation process was simple and efficient And when there was a slight delay (5 min) in my wait time, they kept me fully informed. Its also a very well kept and clean facility. Excellent job.
Safe - they didn’t allow too many people into lobby at once but had us wait in cars for a bit. Once in, everyone was masked and distanced. I received my vaccine here and the nurse who administered it was friendly and fast. They explained everything thoroughly. It was a very smooth experience.
I liked the nice calm energy here, very friendly. The process is fast and efficient. I walked in for a Covid test, they took my info, I waited in my car in less time than they said. I then went in and got my test and my results within 15 minutes. The place is clean and I recommend it.This place was recommended to me by my boyfriend.
Came here to be seen for a sinus infection/nasal congestion. I spoke with the front desk woman over the phone and in person as well as an assistant/nurse who were all very kind. After waiting over an hour to be seen I was extremely confused when the PA Michael was rude and dismissive immediately when he walked in. He did not ask me how I was feeling, what medicines I had been taking or for what duration. As I attempted to explain to him my sinus medical history and treatment plans that have worked for me in the past - his response was for me to go to medical school for 5 years and that he wouldn’t be giving me any medicine unless I had been sick for two weeks. He then told me I had a bad attitude and threatened not to treat me. This type of treatment is unprofessional and unacceptable for an educated medical staffer. I felt unsafe, embarrassed and immediately on the defensive. I am recovering from major surgery and have been taking over the counter medicine for over a week and unable to breathe out of my nose for four days. I get that it’s a Saturday and an hour before closing on Halloween weekend, but treating patients with disrespect and having a fuse that lasts less than five minutes after I have waited for an hour to be seen is really upsetting. It is called health “care” for a reason and I’ve never been spoken to in a more rude way by someone claiming to be a health care provider. I agreed to be covid tested, but he threw a tantrum and refused to see me because of my bad attitude. He would’ve charged me for an exam and a Covid test and sent me on my way still sick, but making the clinic money. I have already had Covid and am double vaxxed. I took a binax home test when I got home and can confirm I am Covid free but still have a sinus infection. If I ever go to a physicians immediate care again it will be to the six corners location on Cicero where I have had zero problems in the past. I also would have gone to a different location today but by the time I was done with this ordeal I couldn’t get in anywhere else.UPDATE: I have since been to my allergist (Dr. Thomas) who gave me the antibiotics that I desperately needed days after being turned away from Physicians Immediate Care. Dr. Thomas referred me to Chicago ENT (Dr. Levy) who gave me a CT scan of my head and neck. Turns out I have a deviated septum and a cyst in my sinuses which is causing my sinus infections several times a year which can only be treated with prescribed medicine. This is why Michael the PA at this immediate care should have listened to me and what I was trying to tell him.
If I could leave negative stars, I would. I came specifically to get an x-ray done. I called before coming in to make sure this was possible and it was confirmed. Upon speaking with one of the nurses after going over my symptoms and hearing her plan, I expressed to her that I would like to have an x-ray done on my chest. Considering my many symptoms and having had a negative Covid test a day prior to my visit, I specifically told her an x-ray was a non-negotiable thing that I was looking for. She responded hesitantly as if I were asking for too much and followed up with the doctor (Michael/Mike). All of their test came out negative. Michael followed up and decided to not give me an x-ray because he felt I didn’t need one. He suggested Mucinex…Michael was very passive aggressive. Even after knowing I specifically requested an x-ray.I have great health insurance that would cover the expense and my symptoms were enough to warrant an x-ray.I had very alarming symptoms and was told to come back if they were to get worse. My symptoms had already gotten worse which is why I sought out treatment to only be denied TWICE. Once in person, and the 2nd verbally, after calling the office back to express my concern and need for an x-ray, only to be blatantly told “I’m not going to argue with you, I’m not going to give you an x-ray”. These are some of the words from “Doctor” Michael.I recognized his verbiage to be very accusatory, very strategic, very passive aggressive and and gaslighting, in regards to speaking with an African American. It was as if he expected me to act in a manner that I wasn’t. Being in my condition, I had little to no energy, my voice had been affected due to my sickness, I literally couldn’t speak at my normal octave let alone yell or even have the desire to argue. It’s not even in my nature for that matter. I simply wanted an x-ray and was calling to further elaborate and express why, considering I recently had my baby brother turned away from an x-ray, to later on receive one and a find out they in fact had pneumonia, which the x-ray showed. All in all, this has aided in my loss of faith in regards to Western Doctor’s and the idea that many of them actually had the desire to treat YOU as a whole and getting to the root of your medical concerns.
I’ve been to several Physicians locations and this is by far the BEST one! The staff is super friendly and they genuinely care about your health and well-being. I went in for STD/HIV testing and they explained everything/answered all the questions I had. They even made sure I was comfortable with needles- which I’ve never been asked before. They were timely and had me out in under an hour. If you need to go to urgent care and you’re in the area this is the place to go!
I’ve been here twice and honestly the only reason I’m ever upset is every time I eventually have to leave the clinic. I love the staff. Each time I’ve arrived everyone has always been so attentive and kind. I always end up leaving laughing and smiling.I wish I got sick more often so I can chat it up with everyone there. Doctor Michael (I think that’s him sorry my memory sucks) and Tricia(god I’m sorry if I forgot your proper name) were the best. Tricia actually took care of me each time and I love talking with her. She’s both professional and friendly.See y’all next time I need help HAHAHA. Thank you!!!
It was a beautiful sunny day and I thought I would get some exercise by walking.Everything was going well until I tripped and fell.Fortunately for me Physicians Immediate Care is in my neighborhood.I called them and was told to come right over. The receptionist was friendly and helpful with my paperwork because I couldnt write due to the injury to my arm.Special thanks to Diane, Katie and Caroline for taking such great care of me.They listened patiently while I described my pain, took x-rays to determine whether or not anything was broken and made me as comfortable as possible letting me know they were going to have to take a better look at the x-rays and would call me back in the morning.Caroline called to let me know there was a small fracture around the elbow and I needed a splint which she and Katie applied until I could get to an Orthopedic doctor. If you need urgent care I highly recommend this office. They are amazing, professional and caring. Thanks again 5***** PLUS
Met w staff for a covid test -taken in exactly at my appt time. Staff extremely thorough. I had a cough and an x smoker so the staff asked me if I wanted additional tests. Since I was due for a ct scan already ordered by my pulmonologist I did not take the tests they suggested. But, seeing these drs acted as a catalyst for me to get the ct scan. In the end I was given a good bill of health. I give this facility a superb rating.
Im very pleased with my experience at this location. I suffered 2nd degree burn blisters to my hand over the 4OJ. I dont have medical insurance so I assumed they would rake me over the coals. They took very good care of me and it only costed about $200 out the door. I would not hesitate to return if needed. Caroline Rodriguez is absolutely awesome and is very professional.
The treatment I received at your clinic was shameful. The culture of the staff is one of power over the patient. They leverage the needs of the patient, the patients desperation, to empower themselves. I am a pharmacist and have worked in the retail setting for over 25 years so I understand the need to adhere to rules, protocols and laws. I have for many years worked in an environment with pressures similar to your staff. But as a medical professional, I cannot understand the way I was treated that day. I needed a Covid PCR test to make an international flight( I had an antigen test that the airline would not accept). I had an appointment. I was not a walk-in. I calmly and clearly explained that every second and minute counted, and the staff there appeared to intentionally delay me in a punitive way. For example I was told I have to wait outside until I was summoned by a phone call while another patients relative waited inside and 2 other customers/patients arrived after me and also waited inside. Appointment time was 314pm. Payment in cash, rather than billed to my insurance (so that no extra time was wasted) at 315pm. Not taken in and given test until 328pm. I asked for the results to be sent to me electronically so I could start back to the airport but was told that was impossible. I was told to wait in the examination room for 15 minutes. At 342pm (14 minutes later) I carefully opened the door and asked the nurse if my results were ready. Her reply was it has not been 15 minutes!. Not Im sorry but the test requires another minute or so to deliver an accurate result so unfortunately it is not ready yet sir. At this point it became obvious that I was being delayed intentionally. I was desperate so I did exactly as I was told. The staff that I dealt with sensed my desperation and used it for their own empowerment and ego. This is hardly the way a medical professional should act or a medical clinic should be run. If the staff at the clinic can be compassionate to a patients needs and can expedite the process without affecting safety, then they should do that. There is a culture at the clinic of you need us so shut up and do as you are told or we will mess you up. I dont think that is appropriate behavior in medicine.
I absolutely hate this place. They never answer the phone and the one time they did they hung on me. I was so mad I ended up going in and sure enough there was someone sitting there. So if someone is there at the reception area why aren’t calls being answered? He then tells me he’s sorry and that they’ve been having problems with their phones. 2 weeks later I’m calling again this time about another patient and the calls still aren’t being answered. You’d think if they really were having problems with the phones they’d have it fixed by now. Ridiculous.
Went in for rapid COVID test. They have such a great process to get it done and I felt very safe. The nurse that did my test was very nice and explained everything which put me at ease. My results were back in 15 minutes and the doctor that reported them to me was very sweet and it felt like he actually cared about my health! Thank you!
Set an appointment easily online and filled out all the online forms in advance. When I showed up all I had to do was text from my car that I had arrived. I was immediately put in line, and I was called in during my scheduled visit window, no delays. The staff contact was minimal and pleasant. One of the best experiences at any health clinic! Highly recommended.
10/2-21 RN Katie, PA Mike are the best. The clinic is just wonderful. I was there yesterday and today and they took me in right away. The level of care you get at physicians immediate care center is better than expected. They really care about your well-being and want to do everything to make you feel better and answer all your questions. I wish all doctor offices were like this one.12/2020 Super friendly office. The nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians are thorough and caring. Great office! The PA is super smart and very attentive! I saw him once before back in December and he knew right away what my issue was where the ER at Resurrection (after a series of overnight tests) failed to diagnose me correctly.
This was the fifth time Ive been here for a covid test (all negative) and while they have changed the process for signing up throughout the pandemic their attention to patients has remained the same. I felt my questions were answered and needs were met every time. I didnt feel rushed and they make sure their staff and other patients are safe during this pandemic.
Easy to find location and has a few parking spots available. Speedy and efficient exam (even during the COVID era), and was treated very kindly by everyone I interacted with. I highly recommend making an appointment online ahead of time, cause this is what I did and I had essentially no wait. At the end of the exam, I had forgotten to ask for a work note, but they had already printed one out for me! This was by far the best urgent care experience I have had in Chicago!
Pre registering online and setting up your time is easy and quick. All staff members are friendly and welcoming. Clean facility with Covid compliance, convenience of X-rays onsite. Don’t have a primary Doctor since mine retired and this has been my go to place. They are a great set of people with compassion and dedication making sure you understand your medical condition and answering any questions before you leave.
The people here are lovely. Literally my only beef is that every time I go (and I have gone several times) I’m asked to send my credit card information via text message, which is *suuuuuper insecure.*I know that’s not the choice of the folks who work at this location; I don’t blame them. However, I would sure love if the higher ups would please find a different way to handle that information exchange.
Wonderful and sweet staff! No hesitation seeing me being covid positive, took all the proper precautions too. Came in for chest pains yesterday and already feeling better today! They know their stuff, especially regarding covid patients and after care. Happy I found this place, they are super close to home.
I choose Physicians Immediate often as they’re always accurate and thorough. I will specifically always choose the Jefferson Park location moving forward. They were so thorough yet quick and didn’t leave us lingering. They were efficient and timely and that’s all I can ask for.
Wonderful and efficient staff. We came in as a walk in and the whole process of check-in, registration, and actual covid testing was a breeze. The facility was clean and the person who did the swab for our covid testing was so gentle and friendly that she made the whole procedure pleasant (as pleasant as it could be to have a swab up your nose lol).
First time going to an urgent care, only because my primary doctor could not accommodate my schedule. I made an appointment online, within the hour. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The nurse and doctor were both very understanding, thorough and friendly. The process was smooth. Everyone had smiles, which is very refreshing to see. I would definitely recommend this office. I would even consider going there instead of my primary, if needed.
I was late by 10 min and the system kicked me off the list. They were still open for an hour and 20 minutes but couldnt see me. All I needed was a COVID test. I show up the next day at 8 AM as one of the first people on the list and two individuals that arrived after me as walk-ins were seen first. Currently still waiting after 40 minutes.
This place is great, every time I’ve been here they’ve gotten me in and out super quickly.Everyone from the front desk to the outtake nurse/coordinator were super friendly and professional. I really appreciate their general kindness and candor. This place is definitely my first choice if I can’t get in to see my regular Dr.; in fact, I somewhat prefer it to my normal physician. I don’t have to take off work and they’re super close by. So convenient! I highly recommend.
I have not previously been a patient here; I made an appointment the day before for a covid test. I was only told after I had arrived and been checked in for my evening appt that my insurance would not be accepted and the out of pocket cost would be $240. It was devastating. I had already submitted all my patient and insurance information that morning, and had not been made aware of any issues. If I had been informed beforehand, i wouldn’t have wasted their or my time- and would still have time during business hours that day to try and find a different testing facility i could afford/covered by my insurance.
Worst experience. If you have any real emergency don’t go to this location. I checked in with an abdominal pain and was told to wait outside, in the cold with a fever. Saw three other people allowed to go inside before me that arrived afterwards. Went back inside and asked how much longer as I was in real pain. They said I was next, they then proceeded to allow yet another person in before me. Finally left to the emergency room. They called me 1.5hr later! Unacceptable. They took my $75 copay though. So there’s that.
Great experience here! They were so friendly and helpful with answering questions thoroughly. They told me the wait would be about two hours when I checked in for my covid test and they called me promptly in two hours and tested me from my car and even gave results just 20 minutes later since I needed a rapid test due to the nature of my job!
I went to PIC for the rapid COVID test and was extremely pleased with the attention, service and care I received. They have an organized, effective system - I was in and out in a short period of time and felt very comfortable throughout the process and with the results.I would highly recommend PIC.
I’m really impressed. I’m from NYC and I have to get COVID tested within 3 days of flying back, and let me say, they are on point here! We’re crazy about covid safety in NYC and this place is almost even better than us on NY. I feel safe, they are kind and the process is easy!
I dont have a primary doctor (yet) and abhor going to ERs if something comes up, but this place is OUTSTANDING for any medical service I have received. From COVID19 testing, to a couple visits needing first aid (for a deep cut and other wounds), the staff and medical professionals were very responsive. Also, this place is very CLEAN and the protocol for check-in was seamless. Highly recommend.
By far the worst experience Ive ever had at any medical office. They require a credit card or debit card to be on file before the patient is even allowed inside their little fort. Even more, the credit card info needs to be sent via unsecured text or phone call to someone youve never met before. The whole experience reminds me of a bad movie mafia bookie scene, Ive got to prove that I can pay before Im allowed inside, like my checks have bounced there before, like Ive visited them before asking for a handout... There are better places to get medical treatment, this is a business only interested in making money, not in your well being.FYI... if you need a travel or work covid test or vaccine, go to Walgreens dot com and schedule an appointment, its free to all residents, no need to text credit cards or debit card numbers to anyone.Ps... The dude working the front had a black eye, Im guessing he spoke up about the bad treatment of patients and he got dealt with by the bosses.
Really quick service. Im a health care worker and asymptomatic so I qualified for a covid-19 rapid test and I got my results within 15 minutes. Within half an hour I was tested and had my paperwork that I was negative. The workers were quick and friendly. Smooth experience.
I have been to a couple immediate healthcare places and this by far is the best one I have gone to and both times I went I would still 10/10 recommend. Staff was extremely friendly very welcoming had bare minimum contact with them, facility is very clean, staff extremely cautious and even took the time out of their day to explain everything that they were doing, why they were doing it and any questions I had to follow.
I had to get a rapid covid test due to being exposed to someone who tested positive and the process was fast and easy. I got my results within 10 minutes. You walk up to the door no appointment needed and ring the doorbell and inform them you need a covid test. Then I registered in my car through a link sent to my phone and was called in for my test shortly after. Staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. I am writing this review to inforn others the test is easy to get so dont hesitate if you have been exposed or have symptoms. The whole process was about 30 mins from registration to result.
If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Waited till midnight to schedule for a Covid test, registered online as directed “to simplify” process, arrived 30 minutes before, waited in my car only to be told at the time of my appointment that I couldn’t be seen due to a balance that I had no recollection of. Advised I cannot just pay something without understanding the charges and they cancelled the appointment. They refused to give medical treatment despite having covid symptoms.Yea.... don’t come here
They are very efficient, professional and take extra care of the admittance process. It may be annoying to some but I respect their caution due to Covid.I had to fill out my forms by the door and had to wait for them to retrieve it once I was done. After they took my forms I still waited for someone to escort me (right before they took my temperature) into the office and then a room.
Their automated phone system did not allow me to speak to an actual representative to book an appointment. It just brought me back to its menu options after pressing to speak a representative. It took 2 hours to just get tested for COVID-19 when I was told it would only take 15 minutes. The title of the business is quite misleading.
The woman who checks in guests is extremely rude, miserable and not helpful. Raced to check in at midnight to schedule a covid test, and showed up to my appointment early as instructed. I waited in my car for over an hour. We are there nervous about the possibility of having covid, doesnt help to have someone greet you as if you are annoying them. The staff inside that did actual test was great tho and results were quick.
The facility is very clean and inviting and from the moment I walked in the entire staff from the front desk to the nurse to the provider were pleasant, friendly and professional. They saw me quickly and I was in and out in less than an hour. I was very pleased with my experience and highly recommend this location.
Disorganized inconsiderate para professional employees. Jacked me around so i never got the Covid test i had made an appt for. First 2 people told me i filled out online form wrong but no help to remedy it so i could be tested for the fast test. Secondly refused my insurance and asked for a credit card if i still wanted the longer test. How much? They didn’t say. Then they still have my information and who knows if they ever destroyed it. This Center is horrible. One employee asks one thing then while you sit in your car waiting another employee asks you the same thing. What a messed up place. This review is for the Northwest Hwy facility.
I needed to be tested for COVID-19 and got to the location right when they opened at 8 am. There was already a long line wrapped around the building but a nurse was going one by one and checked everyone in online. This made the process much smoother. Once we got our vitals checked at the front door, we were told to wait in our cars so we could properly follow social distancing. They called later to confirm my identity, go over my health history and informed me of the next steps. So when they called again, I Went to a designated parking spot and the PA came out to test me. Once I got tested the results came back very quickly. The staff were all very friendly and professional which is Much appreciated during these crazy times
I went to a follow-up visit because of a fall I had a few weeks ago. Thought with time passing by I’d feel better, but instead my pain got worse. The physician that treated me was unsympathetic, rude, short, and in my opinion, extremely unprofessional. Very bad experience this time around.
I go here instead of my general practitioner, because they will always see me pretty quickly, even amidst Covid testing, and they are kind and incredibly thorough. They are truly heroes, making sure that I’m getting medicines and care during a pandemic. Thank you for all your dedication! You’re all incredible!
I literally live across the street and you guys came to the neighborhood for 2 years or so now and Im glad you are in my neck of the woods. The staff was very polite and everyone from the receptionist to the provider and the nurse in between THANK YOU!. One more thing, the facility was very clean and inviting. Almost forgot, if youre a vet they will service you with no out of pocket copays. They recently implemented as a VA Health facility. These guys are getting it right! Take notes other care providers.
The staff was very kind and efficient. I was able to go in on a Thursday evening and only wait the time needed to fill out the registration before being seen. Very professional and clean facility. Hopefully I wont need to go to immediate Care again but if I do I know which one Im going to.
Went there since my doctor couldnt take me same day. Practitioner Caroline Rodriguez is the prettiest, nicest, caring, polite and knowledgeable. She gave me meds and couple hours later I was feeling better.Nurse and receptionist were also very polite and professional. Highly recommended!
Great staff and super with kids!My one daughter broke her collarbone and they had her go from crying to laughing and walking out the door happy to show off her new sling with stickers. My other daughter (somehow) got the back of her earring stuck in her ear and was a very difficult and scared patient as they worked to get it out. Very patient staff that took the time to ease her fears and get the job done.
Simply put, I’m really amazed by this place. I have a 6 year old who does not like doctors offices or dentist lol but the nurse and doctor who saw my daughter where very patient with her and the hole visit was so smooth. From being seen within 5 minutes of our arrival , to a simply straight forward diagnosis and antibiotics. Amazing staff and awesome and fast teamwork.
I just went there last night. I was at a store across the street, and once I got back in my car, I noticed my elbow was all bruised, swollen big time, and it hurt quite a bit. I went to Physicians Immediate Care. The staff were all so very polite, both at the front desk, and the doctors. Very kind. I had a few x-rays, and they wrapped it, which helped the swelling a lot. Still hurts, but that requires my actual doctors visit. The wait time was pretty fast, as they have several doctors on hand. Thank you to all that assisted and helped me there yesterday! I definitely recommend THIS particular location!! Easy parking, too!
I had a great experience today. Went in for Bronchitis and they saw me quickly and helped me get what I needed to breathe easy again!! Everyone was so nice and I would recommend to anyone. I am waiting for my insurance to start and they were affordable and very helpful.
I only took a star off because even though I had an app for a covid test I still waited for about 30min before going in. Once inside they were super super cautious which is great and have you wait in the room until your results are back which is about 20min. Then the doctor came in to see if I had any questions.
I highly recommend this Immediate Care Center. Since the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The facility is very cleaned both in the waiting room and the examining room. I want to say Thank you to the receptionist, nurse and the doctor who took care of me! If I happen to get sick again I will definitely go back.
I was having severe heel pain, wasnt able to sleep and could barely walk when I entered the clinic, so they offered me a wheelchair, that helped me a lot, they did a through exam with x-rays, prescribed the proper medication and recommended follow up treatment. I was able to sleep after my first pill and I was able to walk with little discomfort after my third pill. Thank you very much for the excellent care.
The staff is excellent! I only had to wait five minutes. The medical staff who worked with me spent plenty of time with me and gave me all the instructions I needed to get better. I will be returning the next time I get sick (hopefully that will be a date in the very distant future).
I sliced my thumb cleaning the kitchen knife, and showed up ten minutes to closing. Yet everyone I saw was super friendly and helpful, and they all stayed past closing time to help me, which I really appreciated! Everyone was very professional, and I am pleased with the quality of care I received. I was very flustered so I don’t remember anyone’s names, but thank you!

Nice Chicago style-- meaning smaller and closer than expected with limited parking. I used online registration to set appointment and they ran on schedule. Clean, pleasant and polite. No problems, and no unruly customers which is usually part of Chicago life. Near foster and elston. Staff did everything right.
What a joke of a place. They make up policies on the fly. Refused to test my 76 year old mother who was exposed to my 80 year old father that was covid positive. And sent her back to work WITHOUT testing her. They did, however test me THE DAY BEFORE. Apparently their policies change on the fly. They do whatever they like under zero supervision. You are a physician assistant, you are not a doctor. Stop making up rules that change day in and day out. What a joke.
Thank you so much! I didn’t have a driver’s license and was still able to receive the test with my passport and other IDs. The physicians (Jefferson Park) printed a new PCR result with the clinic’s address on it, which helped me to get the code for traveling. Without their help, I’d be completely at a loss.
Brittany and Dr. Murphy made a great team. They were both very patient with my daughter who might be the worst patient in existence when it comes to getting a strep test. The whole process was efficient, thorough and friendly from start to finish. I couldn’t ask for anything more from an Immediate Care. Thank you!New Visit: Thank you for the quick and kind service. My daughter was terrified of getting her staples out and Megha was very compassionate and made her feel calm. Easy peasy! Will definitely recommend and come back if ever needed.
This is an excellent facility for urgent care (not emergency medical care). The staff is courteous and professional. The nurses and doctors are thorough. They billed my insurance, and everything was processed correctly. Wait times vary, and it would be great if appointments could be made ahead of arrival at the facility.
Miserable experience. Did not honor my appointment and didnt even let me do a walk in. I was just waiting in my car and they didnt even call me when the appointment time was passed to an appointment confirmed in their system with text messages.Visit at your own risk, their booking system is broken and they will refuse service to you.
The experience was awful. I spent 2 hours in an exam room with no one coming in to give me an estimate on how much longer it’ll take until I’m seen. There was bugs crawling all over the room. I left without being seen and when I told them about the bugs their response was that they couldn’t clean everything. Never coming back to that location ever again.
I was seen right away - the man assisting at the front desk was very friendly, as were the nurse and P.A (M. Shah). I was having a hard time taking a deep breath so they did an Albuterol treatment to improve that before completing the visit. That little “extra” helped tremendously...much appreciated!
The staff was very pleasant and comforting. Craig up front greeted me with a smile and was very welcoming, checked on me while waiting in back asking for water or if I needed anything. Tevy was very friendly, efficient and professional. Caroline was thorough and kind. Tricia was efficient and sweet when doing my xrays. The student Brittany was also very nice and empathetic. The flu stinks! Thank you for really helping me feel like I can breathe again!! Getting my meds in the clinic was so helpful! I know I recieved great care and am on the road to recovery!
Regular doctor had no appointments for a few days. Was seen by Katy and doc Caroline. They took good care of me as they have before. This was probably my 4th time there. They are both very compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and great medical professionals!! Thank you.. scott
I made an appt onl online. I was on time as requested. And they took me on time. I had only one other in front of me. I went in for a mild breathing problem. From check in to check out i was there for about 50 min with a script already called in. Folks up front were courteous for checks in. In back, all was good.
We were disappointed with the advice given concerning my husbands chest pain. They sent us to the ER without treating my husband or doing any form of intake, they did not ask thorough questions about his symptoms. They said that they did not have the equipment to find out what was wrong. They said they only have an EKG and chest xray. Flor, a nurse there I believe, said she has worked in an ER before and that they would definitely treat us right away in an ER because chest pain is considered severe. She also said he would need a chest Echo, which the urgent care did not provide. So we go to the ER and they do the EKG and say he doesnt need an X-ray or chest Echo. The ER staff told us that his case was too acute for that and we could have easily gone to an urgent care. This is frustrating because the ER is more than 3x the amount than urgent care and takes several hours. We waited in the ER for 5 hours, urgent care would have been 45 mind tops. The Lincoln Park location gave me better advice, they encouraged us to come in but I blindly went to this one in Jefferson Park thinking they would offer equal care and treatment.Maybe we were better off going to another location, but this location gave bad advice. They were not busy and had no reason to tell us to go elsewhere, especially since they did not know the extent of my husbands symptoms. As a health care professional, it is my opinion that they were scared and were avoiding being liable at the words chest pain.
Caroline Rodriguez (NP) was excellent. I did not have a serious life condition, but was very personal and important to me. My blood pressure was thru the roof with my anxiety about it, but Caroline was calm, professional, and helped me thru my issue. She could tell it was a big deal to me and she took the time to help me communicate, in my time, what was wrong and was very patient and understanding. She helped me thru a stressful time and I cant begin to express my gratitude. Caroline Rodriguez, Thank you.
Ive been to this location several times and the time it takes to see a doctor is normally less than 15 minutes. For routine colds, simple illnesses, minor injuries this place is great. Its better than waiting for 1 to 2 hours to see a Polish doctor in the area. The Polish patients in the area will see the same doctor and wait FOREVER, this place is quick. You get in, get your medicine and get better.
Came in for a work related injury, was told they dont service individuals if work doesnt ok them to proceed. Most job related injuries are covered by the department of labor(DOL) and thats the ok you need if you have started the process with them. They then would not take my private insurance because it was a work related injury. I feel that they are not properly trained to handle anything work related as they did not know what DOL stood for or that I can charge my private insurance and then they would handle it with DOL later. None the less I had to leave because of lack of knowledge and also service refusal. Dont waste your time with a work related injury here.Update** emailed you guys and got no response, glad to see the great customer service is still going strong......
As always, when in a pinch and the doctors office is closed, we head to Physicians Immediate Care on NW Hgwy. Everyone on the staff from the front desk, nurses and doctors are nice, genuinely caring and very responsive to our needs. No matter what brought us there. Will not go anywhere else!
We have now utilized this facility three times. First experience was pretty straight forward - injured my foot - fairly certain it was broke and just wanted a quick xray to confirm. Xray confirmed break - planned treatment was not really appropriate - wanted to stick some cheap blow up bag on the foot - Having just been through major reconstruction on the ankle I insisted on a more stable walking boot till I saw the orthopedic in the morning. Ortho agreed absolutely the right call.A few weeks ago had to go again for a straight forward case of severe shingels. Dr. was friendly and considerate. Proived appropriate care and bedside manner.Today upper respirtory - treated by a female doctor with a sharp tone and equally sharp attitude. My husband has co-morbidities. I am all for not over utilizing antibiotics but wanted to discuss with her why she felt this was viral and not bacterial. More than her response was her tone. Sharp, condensending. She thinks she is above questioning. Perhpas she needs to reattend the lesson in meidcal school that addresses working with the patient.today was our last visit to this place. We will go where physicans want to work in a team and treat patietns with the respect and tone they should be spoken to.
Great staff & Dr. Eric was great!! They were all so kind & I could tell they genuinely cared ! Better than regular hospitals that I go to that just look at me & dismiss me without any concerns when obviously Im there for a reason ! Thank u staff & Doctor I appreciate everything!!
We went there one time because my husband hurt his back and they really help him out! Went there another time for my daughters knee and they took care of her right away it was no lines no wait. It was fantastic and they are so friendly and they answered every question I had. I will be there Ill go there for everything!
I went in on Tuesday, Aug.15th, and part of my examination included a urinalysis. I was told it was going to be sent out to check the urine cultures for infection and that I would receive a call on a Thursday, the 17th. I received no call so I called them and was told to call back on Friday. I called back on Friday and was told rather rudely that I would be called when the Culture came in. It is now late Monday the 21st and I have heard nothing. I will evidently have to go back in there and ask in person, since the results are quite important to me. I am disappointed in their follow through on this.
I went there for a medical problem 10 minutes before the closed. An unpleasant noncompassionate nurse came behind the counter and talked loudly to me asking what my problem was. She then told me its a 45 minute wait and I should go to the ER. She also told me lab results take 2 days so it would be useless for me to get a blood test done. I will never go back there...

2022-02-16Had wonderful experiences in the past but today very rude. Would not allow me to come in with my son because he’s over 18. When I asked if it was a policy they said no, different people choose if they will let family with. I am an RN and came with at his request. If it was a policy I would completely understand as a medical professional. Makes me wonder why they don’t want a nurse to accompany their son.

2022-07-03Great PA who really investigated, deducted and ran all sorts of tests. He thoroughly evaluated my son.Only negative was the wait time and process - we got in 15 min after our scheduled appt and according to screens there was no line…..maybe short staffed?

2022-06-09After waiting for a hour in a room with no update I left. The “system” is down. So apparently none of the rude staff knows how to chart or see patients without a computer. These places are only good if they are convenient since they have PA and nurses that went to fringe schools or online schools. But to sit in a room and watch 8 staff members at a desk for 40 mins without even so much as a update on how long is ridiculous. Trash location with trash staff and they were rude to me when I just asked how much longer it would be. I don’t mind waiting. In the waiting room. Not in the exam room with no one even coming in to give an update. The facility itself was dirty. But don’t worry.. they will get your insurance and ID lightening quick because this is what happens when healthcare is run like a business. Money first, forget the patient. Even more atrocious is that all I said was I’m leaving and the other staff ( including what I’m assuming is the actual PA) did t step in. They watched their rude employee be rude. Seriously save your money

2022-05-03My 9yr old had ear pain and his doctors office had no availability so we found this location and from the moment we walked in we were happy with the service we received and we even got a follow up call the next morning. Will definitely return as needed.
