Physicians Immediate Care in other cities:
Got us in for a sports physical on short notice (given how hard it it to get appointments for doctors and dentists these days). Clean facility, pleasant staff, and efficient operations. This was my second experience here and the service levels were just as good the first time.
I called to inquire if this office treated cysts before making an appointment, and filled out the registration info with “visiting for cyst removal”, and even discussed it when I advised the front desk person that I was self pay. At no point did they say, that they did not treat cysts. Instead, when I asked the front desk person details on pricing, they said I would have to see the physician first. I waited for 2 hrs only to be charged $165, and told that they do not treat cysts. When I was VERY clear from the beginning on what i was there for, and it’s really upsetting that a medical facility would mislead their patients simply to collect a fee. I have sent a detailed complaint with screenshots of my registration etc to IDPH, and will reach out to my bank to dispute.
I injured my shoulder and was worried about the state of it. Everyone was super nice and they got me in and out in no time. At the same time, they took the time to answer my questions and share their knowledge. Also, the NP was mindful of what I actually needed vs, just adding on a x-ray for funsies like the other times I have gone in for joint injuries. Thanks guys! Youre a wonderful team ☺️
I made my appointment online, was 20 minutes early and it still took them 25 minutes after my appointment time to call me back. When I get there the screen said wait time was between 0 - 10 minutes. It was not busy, multiple open parking spots. I was just getting a tb test for work. Will definitely go to another office next year.
Terrible experience. Completely rude and obnoxious Nurse Practitioner. No people skills and very cocky. My wife went in with a sore throat and a headache. Got tested for strep throat and was found negative. She automatically assumed it to be Covid. We have taken a test prior and it showed negative. We are not taking multiple Covid tests so they can just bill the insurance. When my wife told the NP, that’s it’s not Covid and She’s not getting a test, she was treated very poorly. The “nurse practitioner” had a cocky demeanor cause God forbid you disagree. Was a terrible experience and should find medical doctors and practitioners with tact, respect, and people skills. Will not be coming here again. Very disappointed. Felt very judged and discriminated against when the “nurse practitioner” found out she was not vaccinated. It’s no one’s business whether we are vaccinated or not. Stop this discrimination. She said because My wife did not want to take a Covid test again that her “diagnosis” was Covid. She claimed, without testing, it’s automatically Covid..what a joke and a bad experience. Do your DAMN job and with tact.
The nurses were great, however no one was able to draw my blood work so I had to be sent out, the doctor didn’t see me for more than 5 minutes and dismissed any pain I had. He just said do the blood work and then we will call you, if it hurts too much just go to the ER. I literally thought I’d go here to save me from going to the ER but I still ended up having to go. I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you have a IDOT or something else. Definitely not for blood work or maybe just skip this place entirely.
My boyfriend & I both came here as the pandemic was winding down & both had horrible experiences. We were both discriminated against for not being vaccinated.1st horrible experience is when my boyfriend was sick for two weeks, he had to get a COVID test for work. Well when the first one came back negative, he went for two more after he was still feeling a bit better for two more negative results. His work wanted one more negative & a note from the doctor say he could return to work, & when the 4TH! Test came back negative he asked for the note to return. The lady looked at him & said I’m not writing you a note to go back to work, you could get COVID in the next hour & expose people at your job…. So could this lady even though she was vaccinated!!! Was supper rude & decided that it was her job as a DOCTOR to not give him a note…. You could go out & get COVID & expose everyone!!!Second horrible experience is when I was getting tested for a concert. The lady continually asked me why I needed a test & if I was vaccinated. & I said about 5 times I was not. She then said that my result wouldn’t come back negative since I had COVID a month ago. I told her I just had gotten a PCR test the weekend prior & it was negative… she said, oh really, well I don’t think that’s accurate but I guess we can test you. So I went in & negative! I have never felt so judged, & discriminated against. Never going here again! It’s not your decision if I should be vaccinated or not. It’s your job to perform the COVID test I came in for.
Been there before and it was fine. Yesterday, pre registered for an appt time, 45 minutes after my scheduled appt, I still hadn’t been called back. Told the front desk I was leaving. I get it, ok, it gets busy and your appt time gets pushed, but honestly, just communicate. Say “hey, I know the screen has said 0-10 minutes for the last half hour but we’re doing our best”. Be proactive, communicate with your patients.
My very first visit was couple months ago and I can’t say I had a good experience; however, recently I got sick twice and had to be seen quickly. The staff the moment you walked through the door is very courteous and helpful. Check in time is very quick. The physicians are very knowledgeable and take the time to listen. I was beyond happy with my last two visits. Thank you.
Everyone at this location couldnt have been any more pleasant and made what is normally not, an enjoyable experience (DOT Physical). It was a bit of a wait, but, thats to be expected these days. Even your receptionist was super-pleasant! Normally, people in clinics like yours are stiff and cranky at best...your folks made me feel welcome, like we were old friends! Your receptionist out front kept me entertained!I will definitely come back for future DOT Physicals vs the places I used to go to, or if we need urgent care that isnt life threatening.BTW - one look at the facilities from outside and then inside, I knew I was in good hands...some of the competitors clinics are old and disgusting at best. This place looked new, clean and 1st class!Thank you!
Felt rushed by both nurse and doctor. Doctor was not interested in hearing the details of my daughter’s symptoms, only in quickly telling me what he felt was wrong and how he would treat her. I was cut off and dismissed when I tried to explain crucial information about what had occurred over the past few days - his mind was obviously made up in the 3 minutes he spent with us. Ended up in the ER later that night when symptoms worsened. Doctors confirmed our earlier “diagnosis” was inaccurate. My overall feedback - Take the time needed to listen to your patients concerns! As busy as the ER was - they still LISTENED!!
Pros: Needed to get a physical for my son under short notice and was able to book an appointment for the very next day. I was able to complete the registration online right after I made the appointment. The physical, which I was aware insurance doesnt cover, was a very reasonable $40.Con: Our appointment was scheduled for 1pm. We arrived at their facility at 12:55, and remember we completed registration online. When we walked in there were two other people in the waiting room. We did not see a nurse practitioner for the appointment until 2:05. The appointment took 10 minutes total. Why bother having people make appointments if you do not honor it? No other people walked in while we were waiting. But here is the kicker, their policy is that if we arrive 15 minutes late to an appointment, they will cancel it out of respect/courtesy. I showed up at the correct time, 5 minutes early in fact, I respected your time, but my time was completely disregarded and disrespected. If it is a staffing issue, figure it out or dont allow anyone to book an appointment. Didnt seem like a staffing issue since one of them ran out to grab lunch while we waited.Take the review for what you will. I waited two days to write it and my original view hasnt changed.
Easy to obtain an appointment online. They follow strict COVID guidelines and made me feel safe every step in the process. I was greeted right away and was explained in detail what would happen next. When I finally was examined, I was provided a detailed description and a clear plan for treatment before leaving. I would definitely recommend this provider.
Went in with my 6 year old. Check in staff was a little rude. Then the nurse swabbed my daughter (which freaks out) for COVID and NOTHING else. We go there with obvious strep throat symptoms: high fever, horrible sore throat. The doctor even mentions that her lymph node is inflamed yet no strep test?! Have be become so desperate to show COVID numbers as staying up that we’re disregarding all other diseases? Very disappointed. Biggest waste of 2.5 hrs
In and out really quick! Paperwork was fast, the only thing is they ask you to leave your credit card number on file with them just in case your insurance does not cover the whole visit. I told them I was not comfortable doing that and they did not press it. They did say if I did leave my credit card on file that they would need authorization from me before they charged the balance to me. All in all it was a pleasant experience.
Not happy with the treatment here… been to the other clinic couldn’t say more wonderful things but this location was very disappointing… the doctor that examined me was rude and brief! Going in with breathing issues and left no better… tested negative for COVID but it seemed when I informed her I wasn’t vaccinated she turned extremely rude and the exam came to an end at that point … vaccinated or not all of us matter! Terrible!
I went to this urgent care facility for a deep cut on my finger. The wait was short and the Nurse practitioner was very thorough and I left feeling confident that I got the best treatment plan for my situation. My concern was the person who did my intake information and vital signs in the exam room prior to my seeing the Nurse practitioner. He did not have his mask covering his nose and sneezed twice in very close quarters of me and did not use hand gel or wash his hands afterwards. I also thought it was peculiar he didnt take my temperature since it was an urgent care center and I was there for a potential infection of a deep cut, and we are in a pandemic. During a pandemic everyone and especially healthcare workers need to be especially careful dealing with the public to prevent exposing them to germs they could have contracted from all the previous people they saw that same day.
Was a very convenient visit for a same day issue needing to be diagnosed. Did a quick mobile registration and then was taken in to be looked at and all in under 30 minutes. Nice to have this outlet since it is usually difficult to get in to see your primary physician on same day.
Newer building. Nice, open waiting area. Exam room was ok. Intake person was friendly but seemed new. Was a little frustrating to not be able to speak directly to the nurse who was going to see me - explained everything to the intake person who then explained it all again to the nurse (could hear through the door) and then the intake person kept popping in and out with more questions or clarifications. In the end, it was a waste of my time - the nurse told me to go to the hospital instead. Not only did that take the rest of my day (10 hours total at the hospital due to high wait times because of the pandemic) but it also meant I paid a copay and whatever fees will come from this location plus a much higher copay and fees at the ER. The nurse wasn’t super thorough (I feel) and didn’t discuss my test results with me at all/explain her concerns. She was very vague and sent me on my way.Probably best to just stick to simple ailments when you go here.
Brought my son in for a checkup after having a high fever, the staff was SO good with him! Making each task they had to complete easy and fun for him ! I can’t say enough good things about them ! Shout out to Roxy and Colleen, both were fantastic and when we got home my son pretended to be a doctor with his new doctor kit! Thank you !!
My daughter was brought in with a swollen lymph node. First, we waited THREE HOURS to be seen. The nurse was ready to let us go after saying it was nothing, when she asked if my daughter had been given a Covid shot (no). I did explain that we in the home had Covid two months earlier, but my daughter had been tested multiple times, all negative. She said she wanted her to get a Covid test done. I asked why, and she said because of the swollen lymph node. I asked if any of the probably one million viruses out there could cause the swelling, to which she said yes.We refused the test, having been there for three hours already, and no reason to test her. After we left, I looked at the discharge form, which said:Diagnosis 1- exposure to and suspected case of CovidDiagnosis 2- General swollen lymph nodeThis is absolutely a lie. She was exposed TWO MONTHS ago, and negative. She absolutely is not a possible Covid case currently, after being exposed to me months ago. They were flat out dishonest in their records, and I am appalled.
The tech that helped me there was more helpful and comforting than the actual nurse practitioner. The NP was rude and blamed me for contracting covid. I was scared and confused and she didnt tell me anything on how to get better or what I should be doing. She scolded me for not getting vaccinated and escorted me out of the building. She really scared me and made me think I would end up on a ventilator just because I didnt get vaccinated. I will never go back to this location because how rude and disrespectful that NP was. She had no right to push her own agenda on an ill patient REGARDLESS of vaccination status. She took an oath to do no harm and her words got in my head and made me confused and scared. That is more detrimental than this actual virus.
Very disappointing. The doctor did not even examine me. He just stood across the room and spoke to me for a total of 2 minutes, prescribed a muscle relaxer and told me to contact an orthopedic. He wouldn’t even give me a referral name. Do not recommend i del quite disappointed and don’t recommend. No diagnostics were done, not even a basic and standard X-ray to rule out a fracture. Don’t waste your time or money.
The nurse and doctor provided wonderful care to my 2 year old. The front desk receptionist was a little rude because we did not have an appointment to a walk in immediate care facility, but looked past that since the care was great and the wait was still less than an hour without said appointment
Awful!! Stay away! My experience is private , but nothing short of a nightmare. Apparently, you can walk in off the street with absolutely no medical knowledge or background, and get a job. There are plenty of other immediate/ urgent care facilities! Move on to the next one!
Scheduled the first appointment of the day for a pre employment physical and waited 35 minutes past my appointment to be called back.. physical lasted all of 5 minutes. Very disappointed that all staff that was working we’re standing around talking as I was sitting in the waiting room.

2022-04-09Everything went as smooth as I could ask. The clinic is clean and well maintained. The wait time was accurate to the projected time on the website. Checking in, for my first time, was quick and easy. The nurse and doctor were both very pleasant individuals and easy to work with. Youre also checked out with written information regarding your visit and instructions for a follow up if one is needed. An easy 5 stars.

2022-07-14I normally don’t write negative reviews. However, I feel the need to share my experience. We’re out of state, and I brought my daughter here who is 18mo old and was running a fever. The doctor who saw her was very friendly but was incompetent. She did not weigh her before prescribing antibiotics. Her evaluation was poor and she changed her diagnosis after I told her that our pediatrician back home suggested a possible differential. She was rushing to get out of there and I’m disappointed in the care my daughter received. I honestly think this doctor doesn’t have experience in pediatrics. We took her to another urgent care 1 hr away and turns out my daughter had a viral infection and is badly teething.. which makes a lot more sense with her symptoms and I’m disappointed because the doctor she saw at Physicians immediate care didn’t mention anything about her gums. I have family members who come to this location and have had great experiences so I’m assuming it’s this one doctor or their pediatric dept. I gave 2 stars because the receptionist was friendly.

2022-04-14This was my first time using Physicians Immediate Care. I was very pleased with the professional staff. My medical issues were addressed to my satisfaction. I had a minor procedure done which resolved one of my issues immediately. I was given a referral for another issue. The doctor was very knowledgeable and was kind and friendly. I definitely recommend Physicians Immediate Care and wont hesitate to go back if a medical need arises.

2022-05-01I typically never take the time to write reviews but I felt compelled to do so because this staff was remarkable. From the receptionist who helped me in to the office with my 3 kids (and out) to the nurse and doctor who answered all of the questions/concerns I had, all treated us exactly the way I hope each time I enter a doctors office with a sick child. 10/10 would highly recommend 👍🏻

2022-02-09I’ve been feeling under the weather for almost a week. Thinking the 2 at-home tests must be wrong, I decided to go to Urgent Care (since my doctor ‘isn’t seeing sick patients at the moment’). The closest Urgent Care had a 2+ hour wait time, so my daughter suggested trying Physicians Immediate Care, which wasn’t much further away! From the moment I stepped into the building, the entire staff, from the front desk to the nurse to the medical provider, were all very personable, patient and professional! Totally organized!! I was in and out within 30 minutes and NO Covid - yay!!I will definitely choose this as my Immediate Care provider should the need arise again in the future. Ive already told a neighbor about the excellent care I received without the 2 hour wait!!

2022-05-12Went in for a deep cut on my hand. Couldn’t be more impressed with their care and sincerity.Dr. Colleen (forgot her last name) and her staff were great.Plus, tried a new deodorant that day and it couldn’t take the heat so in know I stunk a little from sweating. Not even a flinch from any of them. Ha, now that’s professionalism!Hope I don’t need to go back but if I do, I know I’ll be in good care.

2022-01-31My family has gone to this location with sick children, once on the weekend for a double ear infection and a second time for pink eye and both times we had a great experience. Staff was kind and COVID conscious. Care was so good and I felt the providers gave the time and attention needed.

2022-01-26I came here because I used to go here when it was a different company. I got in right away because I arrived when it opened. My main concern was nausea and chest pain and trouble breathing. The nurse took my vitals and I waited 15 minutes for the doctor to come in and listen to my heart and lungs for 30 seconds and tel my it was pleurisy. And he left. That didn’t explain any of my symptoms except for one. I felt completely dismissed and rushed. He felt bothered when I asked how did this happen and he just shrugged his shoulders. Definitely will not be returning!
