I needed one tire total 230. I needed 2 tires a week later went to Firestone and got two tires for 250. Will not be back.
This location is great, I dont want to take my vehicle anywhere else. The attention to detail and their quality work keeps my vehicle on the road. For example on one of my visits Jorge took the time to listen to my questions and help me to understand what was going on and what my options were to fix it👍. My vehicle is a huge part of my life. This is a hard one. They certainly saved my bacon by repairing a tire and Pablos one of the best front desk people Ive come across. However, they overinflated my tire and forgot to put the cap back on the tire stem -- not huge issues, but still annoying. Dont want to bite the hand of those that fed me, but have to be honest.
Really nice guys. My car is running smoothly again. Ill go back next time I need an oil change 😁

Friendly staff for the most part, however they are very slow and always behind on their car appointments. Update! Homewood pep boys never overloaded with car appointments, the wait time is not very long, customer service is good, the place is always clean, they get you out in a timely fashion. I take my car there every time I need something done.
Been coming here for 2 years and never had a problem they do take long sometimes but overall very good service 👍
Hats off to Jorge and Stephanie at the Bedford Park shop. I arrived in a less than pleasant mood and Jorge immediately and professionally came up with solutions that had me smiling and satisfied. I cant thank him enough. I spent about 40 mins total and everything was done just right.
They are always good people, I came in with a problem of oil leaking and they figured it out and where it was coming from, fixed it and I was on my way
These guys are amazing I have never been to a car service place with this amount of professionalism it’s incredible. I came here many time in the last couple of months for different reasons and these guys got the job done fast and efficient. George and Juan are Awesome they really help me out and explain all the work I need done to my car they also are so friendly and have great customer service skills. I will recommend this location to all my friends and family I really appreciate all that you guys do keep up the good work.
Worst place to go is you have others things to do with your day. It took me 2h:30 min for just a oil change. I wish I could give zero stars.
I try not to post bad reviews unless it’s absolutely necessary. I called ahead to see if it was ok to have some air put in my tires. They said “No problem.” I showed up five minutes later. I stood in front of the counter for another five minutes while the guy at the counter was writing something down. I thought this wasn’t that bad. I understood that some people might need to write it down before they forget. Once I told him I just needed to air up a tire, he said sure, no problem. Just pull around to the first door. I did. Fifteen minutes later, I left because no one ever came out or opened the door or anything.
My visit was on Sunday and thank goodness they were open. I called the previous day and spoke to someone very nice and knowledgeable . They helped me a lot. When I arrived the day of my appointment Guillermo was very nice and they tookmy car right away. They worked very hard and it didn’t take long. When I was done Guillermo took time to explain everything to me and I am very happy with the work. Another young man took time to talk to me about tires and was extremely helpful as well. I will return as they were nice, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Thanks to everyone!
Ernesto and the rest of the staff here are extremely helpful. They make sure my car is ready to go and check on every nook and cranny. Appreciate folks like this especially during this difficult time. Shout out to these essential workers!
This Pep Boys location is great. Service was fast and customer service was excellent. Shoutout to George and Andrew for spotting a huge gash in one of my tires that they said could have been bad if I kept driving on it. They fixed me up nicely and I couldnt ask for better service. 5 Star Business all the way!
This is probably the best Pep Boys Ive been too. I received an email from Uber stating my car needed service. I was just there the previous week so it was quite odd to drive all the way back to Cicero. I reside over East. Not only did they call me to reschedule my appointment yesterday, they were able to get me out by my scheduled appointment time. Kudos to everyone that worked and operated on my Chevy today. They even added a battery to my car keys. I highly recommend them and my advice is to be patient and watch Court TV. 😂😂😂😂

I had my shocks replaced months after getting new tires and purchased a year alignment from this place took my car in to get a tire patched and I asked them I needed an alignment they said they would check it out, the guy told me they drove the car around the parking lot and looks like no alignment is needed never doing business here ever again paid $700 for tires and alignment I recommend y’all go else where just literally wasted my money
Today was my first visit at Pep-Boys at this location, I walked in as a stranger and left with a brother from another mother. Jessie Ramos has outstanding communication skills, he made my wait very pleasurable. Jessie was able to explain the details of the service I needed on my car. Everyone who I came in contact at Pep-Boys was very nice. If you need any type of service done on your car I would highly recommend Pep-Boys at this location. I generally considered a safe vet that any Pep Boys I go into is going to be a good experience. This store, however, takes it to a whole new level. The store is very clean, shelves are stocked, and there was a friendly employee happy to assist with all of my questions. They showed great patience too, helping someone illiterate in all things automotive find what they needed. The thing I really liked most about shopping here, was that the staff did not try to oversell me on anything. They actually let me know that I didnt need some things while I did need others. That is such a rare commodity with auto parts stores. I will be coming to this location first and foremost with my automotive needs.
Ordered a replacement battery for my car and scheduled the service online easily. Came in on a morning and, despite having a ton of customer phone calls, Alfonso was very personable and friendly with his service. The shop didnt take long to replace the battery and I was in an out in time for a family breakfast. Would definitely come back!

The service department has excellent service. Alfonso is very helpful & informative. Theyre honest & let you know what maintenance can wait & what needs to be done to keep you safe. The prices are reasonable. They work hard to have your car in & out in a reasonable time. I often recommend the pepboys service department.
These guys are awesome! We were in for an oil change before a long road trip. The store didnt close for at least another hour, but the shop was backed up because one of the mechanics had to leave. The manager knew we had the road trip and did not want us to have to wait until 10 p.m. So, he went into the garage and changed our oil himself. He didnt have to do it and it took him away from some other duties, but he wanted to help us. Awesome, right?Every Pep Boys location Ive been to has excellent customer service, but this place is tops! If you need any more proof that these guys are the best, we live near the University of Chicago and we make the trip to Bedford Park because the service here is that good.
Today was my second visit to this Pep Boys location and the service was still stellar! Everyone was super friendly and I didnt have to wait long at all. Jessie is a rock star of course (he hooked me up with a coupon and a Barqs Root Beer 😀) but all the other guys that were in and out were pleasant and seemed happy to be there. The laid back atmosphere alone is enough to keep me coming back for my car needs.

Awesome... I was having a tire light issue and had been to two locations 4 times already for this same tire light issue. Alfonso listened to the issue I was having and the quick fix the other stores had done. He went over my vehicle with me found out two of my tire locks were never put back on two of my tires and the tire light issue was a nail as I kept saying all along. Thank You Alfonso and Staff ... Ive been to a few other Pep Boys locations but this one has to be the best. Everything was clean and well organized. I needed a car battery but I had no idea what kind but the employees were very helpful. I definitely enjoyed doing business at this location and will recommend this location to all of my friends.
Just want to share my experience I had at this pep boys yesterday. Jessie is one amazing sale person and tech for this store . He helped me with my 2004 Montecarlo . He made me have faith in stores like this . Never went to pep boys because I always thought they didn’t really care about helping you . I must say different. Jessie took the time to help me find the parts I neededHe had patience with my situation .He helped me so muchAnd was very knowledgeable. How long does it take to do an oil change? 7 hours? I dropped my car off at 11:30am. Still waiting and its going on 6pm. I mean I rent the car for Uber so its a loss of income for the day for a simple oil change. I may just skip the oil change and drive the car with no oil. At least I tried bringing it in for service. If it messes up and engine goes... hey not my fault. I brought it in for service. They just didnt service it. Waste of time!!!
Every time that I come into this Pep Boys location I feel at home. Jessie Ramos, the manager at this location, always provides me with outstanding customer service. I am very grateful to have a knowledgeable staff that is always able to assist with issues that I am having with my car and solve them in a timely manner. Showed up at 6:25 PM after calling ahead of time to ask what time they stopped taking customers to do oil changes. I was told to come on over, they’d take care of me since the service center doesn’t close until 8 PM. Well, I walk in and I tell the guy what I’m there for and he tells me they are done servicing vehicles for the day even after I mention calling ahead and it only being 6:25 when the close at 8. He simply repeats himself and doesn’t even offer to make me an appointment for another day/time. Poor customer service.
I brought my car for alignment and they told me that they had it done with in a certain amount of time and then they start it 2 hours later and then they tell me that sometimes is wrong with the parts but all the parts are brand new. Be careful with what they tell you as they might be lying to you
Giving them a bad review for my father in law. We dropped off a truck early in the day, they had told him It would be done in about 3-5 hours. My father in law didnt get to pick up the truck for over 24 hours! How can you give someone a time and then take WAY longer than that time. He called at some point to see what was going on and they told him that the mechanic wouldnt be in til later that day, so why tell him a few hours when the mechanic wasnt even there when he dropped it off?! Bad communication on their part. And obviously horrible scheduling on their part. They should have a mechanic on staff the whole time the location is open, not just certain hours of the day.
Went in to get a quote on tires. Alfonso was excellent in getting the best deal for me. He explained all my advantages from getting tires from here and in an ample amount of time I was on my way. Great customer service and awesome people skills. I went to the oak lawn location and was unsatisfied with the people there. Bedford Park is the location to go to!
They canceled my appointment without notice ! Saying their main mechanic isnt there today. Maybe they should hire more mechanics that can do more then oil changes and tires . So I drove all the way out there to waste my time on a day I had to take off . This is the second pepboy location where the company does not care about their customers
Had a great experience there at pep boys Jessie was friendly and informative. Got an oil change and all 4 tires replaced with new ones and Jordy did a great job and worked on my car til closing time. All in all I will be coming back and highly recommend this location!

Extremely helpful. the best service I’ve ever had. Went in to get a new brake pad because my brake light was on they found out all I needed was breaker fluid will totally come back. trust them. that honesty pays for itself.
0 Stars it took them 4 hours just to put on three tire when the pep boys on western only takes 45mins the kicker is there was no cars back there nor have any cars came in since I’ve been here. I’m still waiting for my car as I write this review.
Hey I got to tell you that Jessie Ramos and Dan are great. I have always done all my repairs and installs at Pep Boys but this Location is the best. So if any one should have any issue with there automobile. You should get the great advice from Bedford Park IL location.
I came in bcuz the Pep Boys on 5959 S Western in Chicago, IL refuse to give me 4 new tires. Instead they gave me 3 new tires & 1 of the new tires wouldnt hold air. After giving the Stoe #0990 3 trys to fix the issue by simply giving me a different new tire Yvonne refuse to do so, therefore, i called customer service which directed to visit a store in Bedford Park. Upon arrival to Bedford Park Store, i explained what my problem was. The Bedford Park store didnt hesitate to put a brand new tire on very fast. The Bedford Park Store was soo fast and courteous it made my day extremely exceptional. From the treatment i received from Bedford Park store, i will never step 1 foot in store #0990 ever if it was the only Pepboys left. Sorry for the bashing of store #0990 but i had to say it.
I brought my vehicle in for an oil change the mech. noticed that my wheels were off balance... needless to say the customer service was exceptional not only was my oil changed, my wheel barring was fixed, and my problem tires were replaced at a disc. I would recommend this location to get your vehicle serviced, my car is running smoothly

I realized last minute I was due for an oil change, I went to two places that turned me away because they said they were closing even though their shop was open for 15-20 more minutes. I called Pep Boys and Alfonso answer the phone. By now they were due to close in 15 minutes and I was 10 minutes away. He asked me how quickly I can be there, I told him 10 minutes and he said to come on and hed take care of me. They got me in & out fast with no hassle. There is nothing like great customer service which is hard to come by nowadays. Thank you to Alfonso and the staff at Pepboys for helping me out!
The service was amazing and fast , i was late to my appointment by an hour and they still managed to get me in right before they closed ! The prices are great , very reasonable. I was able to get what I needed and more . The assistant manage ( Jessie) was very energetic and cared a lot about the customer service ! I definitely will be coming back for future car service and accessories.

Friday i purchased tires on Pepboys website. The following day i recieved an email saying the order was cancelled and to contact that store. That being said, i drove there to talk to the service manager in person as it was on my way home from shopping. Needless to say, I was told it was a discontinued tire, they cannot get them, and only the store on western ave had 1 in stock. He tried selling me a different tire. He also tried to tell me that i wouldnt get the 4th tire that was on promotion for free if i didnt by the hazard warranty which i no is BS.. Truth be told, Pep boys warranty is useless because they dont stand by it and i know this from past experience. He said he didnt know why there website lets people place orders and that it was wrong. I left there store, came home got back on the comp. Went to the site, chose the (supposedly discontinued) tire i wanted installed. Clicked on the want it sooner chose that store 5miles away. I called that store to confirm that they actually had the tires, and they did. I made the purchase and scheduled an appointment for Monday. My review is based on this stores management. The service department has been ran very POORLY for at least a decade. I can only assume this is due to poor wages, strict policy, terrible incentives, and the only one to blame for this is Corporate Management! If the price wasnt so good id be going to Discount Tire where I have always had good experience.. If they stocked this tire I wouldnt be writing this review because they price match as well.
Went to this location about a month ago. earlier that day i had a slow leak in my tire. drove to a few tire shops to see how much a used tire would cost. everywhere was $50 and up. i was about to pay that price until i was told it was an additional $50 because one of my lug nuts were stripped and so it would cost more to get it burned off. i left that place and headed home, but on the way, i stopped at the grocery store. i had caught a flat at the aldis nearby. i was upset and went into the pep boys nearby to see if i could get something to temporarily patch up the hole. because of the placement of the leak, they said it was impossible. i then thought i was just have to spend the hundred, THAT I COULD NOT AFFORD, they took a look at it. they took a few hours, past the closing time. they were tired and ready to get home to their families, but they stayed to help me. they gave me another tire, new lug nuts, and burned off the old stripped one, and i was charged an affordable price. and one of the guys even offered me and my mother barbecue that one of the employees brought for his crew. i am forever grateful. i feel bad that it took so long for the review, but i have been transitioning into a new job, school, and a few other thing s in my life. but this place is the best place to go. i believe all pep boy locations may be good, but this location definitely has a great team working there. thanks guys!
Alfonso was a great help. He was patient while I decided what to purchase. Didnt rush or push anything. He even price matched a competitors wheel alignment price. Definitely asking for him next time!

I wont go to any other pepboys the service is more than excellent manager Dan is on top of things and assistant Jessie Ramos is just always pleasant and he has excellent communication skills he truly is a people person he and the staff never attempt to take advantage of you.I feel like Im at home they make you feel comfortable and I trust the work that they perform. Local auto and other shops could use this store 7030 Cicero as a example of how to treat and keep a customer. 7030 is not the closest store to me 95th is and I live near 80th street and Ill drive the distance and pass up other stores pepboys firestone etc..to give 7030 my business.In a nutshell this store and its wonderful staff rock five stars is not enough for the rating they need to get 10.Thank you Jessie for always going the extra mile you are a Rock Star...Thank you Dan for your service and the SUPER STARS you employ.
So I was getting an oil change for my boyfriends car and I went to Firestone right off 95th and Weatern... Phillip was a guy who worked there and he straight up said, I dont feel like doing it. -__- he recommend I go to pepboys on 70th and Circeo, so I did. The manager, Jessie took the car in even though I came last minute, Jordy got the oil changed in under 15 minutes, and I got a discount. The manager said, I gotchu, in his Puerto Rican accent. He was also very personable and hilarious. I will always go back there, if 10 star was an option... I would have definitely given them 10 stars.

Came in for oil change that was supposed to last for 30 minutes there was barely anybody else in here my car was in the port within 15 minutes yet it took an hour and a half just to get an oil change

This place is horrible. I set up a front end alignment appointment for today at 8am. I just received a call at 7:48am saying that they cannot do it. Now I have to find another place to fix my car so I could drive it to class. Thanks for the inconvenience.
They don’t answer their phone. They didn’t return my wheel lock key after I’ve gotten a tire fixed there. Now i don’t have a key at all.

Recently brought tires on June 10 with installation wheel alignment and computer balancing the hankook ventus noble s1 noble2 my appointment was at 9:00am but got their at 8:00am hour early my vehicle got started on at 9:00 and was their two hours which is decent time the wheels look great I can tell from the little car expertise I have that they were put on properly the staff their are professional the only thing of concern was PepBoys business is to car for your care and my car was making noise 9 out of times because it needs new wheel bearings in the front but even tho the mechanic had to drive it in from outside he never mention it so that was like a test I did but over all I think their staff are good and value for dollar is good also their worth a try and most likely you will find a home for your vehicle repair and services their I would rate them 7 in a half with potential to be higher and thats rare in the car service business when most just want to take every penny from you and not own up to mistakes they make on your car but I felt they had at or above average honesty

Stopped by to get a tire plugged and Jesse and staff did an awesome job and got me out of there in under an hour. Great service.
Went there for a simple job waited 2 hours for a ridiculously over prices quote of 300 dollars to install a hitch, went 1 mile away to uhaul who installed it for 15 dollars in less than an hour.... These PepBoy guys here have no idea what there doing.
I didn’t catch the guys name at the service department, but he was awesome! When I went to the other side where the general merchandise is sold all 3 workers were on their phones & offered little help so I took my business elsewhere.
Service was fantastic. Prompt, and friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Jessie was especially helpful, and made the entire process quick and efficient.

This place will make you want to hop over the counter and slap the hell out of one of them!! Like why is it so hard to get one basic azz answer. They see you standing there and dont say hello we will be right with you or nothing. Finally after over 8 minutes of waiting a man comes from the side and says how can I help then the phone rings and he stops talking to me to answer the phone. Whewww lawdddd
Went to the Boys for a synthetic oil change, I was going to go with the mobile 1 synthetic oil but Jesse the service guy introduced me to the Purple synthetic oil, I got convinced took it loved it so does my car. Thanx Boys.
I HAD FRIENDS THAT TOLD ME NOT TO GO HERE BECAUSE THEY RIP YOU OFF! AND THEY DID. I ONLY TOOK A CHACE SINCE THEY WERE GANA GET IT DONE THAT DAY( 7/14/19) THEY TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE THAT REPLACING THE TRUTS ON MY ELANTRA WAS GOING TO BE $1,100 ,5 HOURS LATER I GET THEIR AND THEY TELL ME MY TOTAL IS $1,800 .NOW THEY HAVE MY CAR HELD THEIR HOSTAGE AND I HAVE TO WAIT TILL THEY ARE ABLE TO GET THE PHONE CONVERSATION ON MY TRUE TOTAL... THEY DID A BAIT AND SWITCH ON ME! I WILL BE CONTACTING COOPERATE AND STARTING AN AD CAMPAIGN TO MAKE SURE NO ONE COMES HERE AND GETS RIPPED OFF ASWELL

2022-05-29To all the young black women do not go to this establishment they are cheating us out our money and overpricing us.I go in to to get a plug for my tire because I had a screw in it I showed them the picture and the boy at the cashier in the lobby was like yes $24 and some change to fix it so I wanted to pay but he was I like We don’t charge you until after the work is done, which was suspicious then, because if you know exactly How much this specific service cost then how come I can’t pay and you already have the price, so 30 minutes goes by I receive a call on my cell phone stating that the tire was in repairable and I will need a whole new tire which cost $124. I knew they were lying, so literally go around the corner on 59th took me less than 10 minutes to get my tire repair $15 to plug-it by a man name TK gave him a $5 tip went back to Pepboys and gave them the screw and told them to stop cheating ppl out of their money. I truly feel they only was trying to make me pay more because I was a black woman so please people do your research.

2022-03-30Excellent service. My tire blew and I had to wait for AAA to put my spare on. By the time AAA was done it was 8p. I didnt make it to PepBoys until 8:30p. Although they close at 9, Jorge and Jeff took care of me. We were all there until almost 10p (got all new tires) and they never complained. Most places would not have taken me that close to closing. Its so refreshing to have this type of service in these days and times. Thank you!

2022-04-17I needed work done on my 2018 Nissan Altima and was skeptical because I went to a certified Nissan dealer and the dealer mechanics messed my car up and tried to overcharge me to fix my car. So my guy recommended me to go to Pep boys because he used to go all the time and he never had any issues with them. So I went and they did my oil change, brakes, rotors, all 4 tires and wheel alignment for a great price and my car is running, way better than before! They even fixed the issues that the dealer caused. So I recommend going to Pep Boys for your maintenance needs.

2022-07-12Scheduled my whole day around this appointment that I made for this afternoon for an oil change, but apparently online appointments aren’t accurate and they’re booked up. I came here once before and left a great review. Since then their service has sucked. They don’t answer the phones, don’t keep appointments, and they take all day to finish. If you want to go here, be prepared to waste a day.

Made an appointment 5 days in advance online to get an aligment.Recieved a call 1 day prior to my appointment to tell me they already had two appointment services at that time. Being my only day off was the reason i did appointment in advance. Guy on phone wasnt understanding at all. He just offered random dates no apologies. Called Car-x for appointment same day ,Took my car, Same price great service. In and out respected my appointment time.

2022-06-18Took my suv for an AC repair had 9am appointment. For 8hrs I had no communication about my vehicle. Found out they wanted to keep my car until the next day because the mechanic left for the day. What a waste of day and time!! Expect to wait and dont make any plans if your taking it in. Bad service!!!
