This place is goodwill art and crafts but way overpriced.
The store is made up of several different vendors. A lot of really cute/vintage items are available in the store, as well as a small selection of vintage designer clothes. However, the corner with the designer purses is not selling all authentic purses, even though she insists that they are, which is kind of a misleading business practice, especially when some of them are priced for hundreds of dollars. So don’t be fooled! She’s only selling fakes 💁♀️ but I think all of the other vendors and items are great.
ADORABLE! Really reasonable prices. They had coffee and lemonade and treats set up. Layaway available and such sweet beautiful items. If I had the money to spend that day I would have ended up buying atleast $500 worth.
I thought this place was great! An eclectic mix of past and present just as the name suggest. I thought the prices were reasonable, the merchandise presented in charming displays.I believe there was a change in ownership a few years ago, and the people I spoke with during my recent visit were very patient and polite.There is street parking 1/2 block down as well as 6-8 places in the lot.VERY worth a trip!

SHOP IS OVER PRICED, FILLED WITH ITEMS THAT YOU MIGHT FIND AT A BAD GARAGE SALE. THE SHOP HAS VERY FEW ANTIQUES AND COLLECTIBLES. DECOR ITEMS ARE ITEMS THAT YOU MIGHT FIND AT HOBBY LOBBY...NOT THE NICER STUFF, BUT THE MERCHANDISE THAT NOBODY WANTED, SELLING AT DEEP DISCOUNTS JUST TO GET RID OF IT... PAST & PRESENTS IS EXTREMELY OVERPRICED, ESPECIALLY IN VIEW OF THE POOR MERCHANDISE SELECTION. SERVICE WAS UNFRIENDLY AND DOWNRIGHT RUDE..... WHEN I WAS SPEAKING TO HER, I MENTIONED TO HER THAT I AM DISABLED AND SUFFERED FROM CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS AND ILLNESS AND THAT DUE TO MY ILLNESS, THERE ARE MANY TIMES THAT I CANT GET OUT OF MY HOME. SHE SAID SOME THINGS THAT WERE OUTRIGHT MEAN ABOUT MY ILLNESS. BEING A LONG TIME CUSTOMER OF THE PRIOR SHOP, I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOMEONE CONSIDERED AN OWNER IN THIS NEW STORE WOULD INTENTIONALLY TRY TO RUN OFF CUSTOMERS. THEY HAVE VERY LITTLE BUSINESS AS IT IS. THE SHOP HAS ABOUT SIX PARKING SPOTS. WHEN I PASS BY, THERE IS NEVER MORE THAN ONE OR TWO CARS PARKED IN THE LOT. ONE OF THE CARS IS ALWAYS THE PERSON WORKING AT THE STORE. WHEN I WAS AT THE STORE, THERE WERE NO CUSTOMERS BESIDES MYSELF IN THE STORE.SEVEN INDIVIDUALS LEASE THE STOREFRONT AND ARE CONSIDERED OWNERS. THE STORE IS COMPRISED OF THE SEVEN OWNERS AND SEVERAL OTHER INDIVIDUALS THAT RENT SMALL SPACES. EACH SPACE SELLS THEIR OWN MERCHANDISE WITH NO EMPHASIS ON QUALITY. MANY SPACES WERE VACANT. HAVING SEVEN OWNERS MAKING DECISIONS, NO WONDER THE PLACE IS A DISASTER. PAST & PRESENTS IS A STANDALONE SHOP WITH NO RESTROOM INSIDER AND NONE LOCATED NEARBY....MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE YOU GO THERE. OTHERWISE, YOU WILL HAVE TO DRIVE A DISTANCE TO THE LIBRARY, SHOULD NATURE CALL. THIS SHOP IS IN HIGH NEED OF CLEANING, LOOKS DISORGANIZED, AND LACKS EYE APPEAL. PAST & PRESENTS IS RELATIVELY NEW TO THIS LOCATION. THERE WAS A PRIOR SHOP NAMED ECCLECTIBLES THAT WAS IN THAT LOCATION FOR YEARS. I WAS A CUSTOMER OF ECCLECTIBLES FOR YEARS AND SPENT 2 TO 3 HOURS AT A TIME SHOPPING BECAUSE OF THERE VARIETY, QUALITY, AND GOOD PRICES. I WOULD VISIT OFTEN AND ALWAYS END OF BUYING. WHEN I VISITED PAST & PRESENTS, I WAS OUT IN LESS THAN A HALF AN HOUR AND DID NOT FIND ONE THING THAT I WOULD HAVE CONSIDERED BUYING. PAST & PRESENTS IS LOCATED WITHIN A COUPLE OF MILES FROM MY HOME. ECCLECTIBLES MOVED FROM THIS LOCATION TO BATAVIA, WHICH IS 3 OR 4 MILES FURTHER. FYI, ECCLECTIBLE IS LOCATED ON HWY 25 ADJACENT TO WILSON, OVERLOOKING THE FOX VALLEY RIVER. IN THE FUTURE, I WILL DRIVE THE EXTRA DISTANCE TO ECCLECTIBLES.... A SHOP THAT IS WORTH THE TIME AND DRIVE. ( I AM IN NO WAY AFFLIATED WITH ECCLECTIBLES.) EVEN IF THE MERCHANDISE WAS WORTH SHOPPING, I WILL NEVER GIVE PAST & PRESENTS ANOTHER CHANCE TO SEE IF THEY IMPROVE, BASED ON MY ONE EXPERIENCE WITH MARSHA. IF I COULD RATE THIS STORE LESS THAN 1 STAR, IT WOULD BE MINUS 10 STARS......

2020-08-15Amazing customer service! They had good collection of antiques. Things are actually amazing. Went there to just check the place out but ended up buying few items very cheap. Furnitures were good as well, they also have clothes cutleries jewelleries, stash boxes etc. Visiting again for sure

2021-12-23Cool space with many booths of antique, vintage and new items including hand-crafted pieces. The lady behind the till was very friendly and helpful too!Parking could be a little tricky if there are more than 3 cars in the lot but it was well worth the stop.

2021-10-08Very nice small antique shop. It has separate sections that are marked and run by different antique sellers. When we went there a lot of the sections had signs where everything was 15% off and a few other sections were 10% off. The ladies that run the place were very nice and quite helpful.

2021-03-02Found the most beautiful antique wedding dress here, as well as several unique pieces of jewelry. I felt as if i were walking through a museum of relics from ages past. As a writer, its a perfect spot to shop for inspiration, as well as half a dozen more tiny glass bottles to add to the ever growing collection. ;)

2020-01-18What a treat! I have passed this place often but grabbing breakfast next door to them made me take the stroll to see what they have to offer and it did not disappoint! So many beautiful antique and vintage items that hold so much value and priced very reasonably. The booths are decorated and it had such a homey feel I can’t wait to return again next month to see what they have. Cheryl (I believe that was her name, I’m sorry if I’m wrong) is adorable and was very knowledgeable with everything. You can really tell she loves being a part of this shop!
