Looks nice well manicured, and a nice covered bench area... But its like they never heard of spraying their lawn for bugs! I went to take a evening walk with my husband and we were quickly redirected to our car due to the sworms of insects!
Quiet, peaceful and alluring.
Lots of things to do with the family. The summer camp for the little ones is great they keep them mentally and physically engaged.
Beautiful brand new facilities. Indoor cushioned running and walking track and basketball courts. All new gym equipment. There are rooms for birthday parties and community events. Vending machines are available for snacks and beverages.
Lovely playground here. Completely empty on a beautiful Sunday afternoon! Perfect for a preschool-aged child.
This was the first time at the new facility. I would have to say they did a fantastic job with this place! From inside to out. Great job. The employees there were nice and friendly and helpful. Good job!
Very nice children enjoyed playing there. Only problem was dirty water on the slides.
Practically a brand new facility which is underutilized. Great staff, clean environment, good basketball court. Easy access and plenty of parking.
Fitness facility is very clean. The precautions that the park is taking during this pandemic makes me feel safe being back at the gym.
Its a nice clean,quiet park. Love taking my kids here. And is probably one of the only parks left with shade. Ive even had a couple of parties there.
!PLEASE READ THIS! It is so dumb does not have much at the park, Savanna hates the park she said it was little kiddish. Also A.J. said that there is no basketball 🏀 hoops. So do not comeback or come.
Very nice staff. I really like the indoor running track and exercise room. The shower areas are small, but serve the purpose.
Came for back to school event. Organized, clean and plenty o FCC resources and events for the kids. Had a lot of fun with the family
Went to the park had to do community service, even stopped and talked to a few people while i was out there. Real clean park with a nice environment
Kids had a great time. Just enough play equipment to keep them busy, there ages are 2 and 4
Ok we have a New recreation building how about an updated park and playground to make the recreation building look good at nowell park just like all the other parks and play ground areas.
I live across from nowell park the play ground on gardner st side needs upgradeing the play ground equipment is unfortunately a accident waiting to happen. I notice that all the play ground area every where else have been updated.
Nice clean environment, pleasant staff members and very helpful!

Lovely location for family picnics, my Mom and step Dad had their reception here and we enjoyed ourselves
The grands love it picnic got grills swings slides play stations and they are building a new indoor gym.
The new Recreation Center is a jewel on the Eastside of Joliet and a welcomed addition and effective use of available land in the Park.

It is a big park with 3 pavilions and 2 parks. It also has a basketball court, tennis court, baseball field, and a cooling off area for children.
Park district and the city of Joliet needs to attend to this park. Bathroom need lights, cleaning, 8 of 12 swings are missing.

2019-08-24Oh Wow they do a Nice Back to School FunDay!! Jumping houses, hot dogs for everyone!! ,FacePainting, Crafts, Information if your kids are interested in FootBall,Cheerleading!! Theres Church held there at the park I found out also!!! And EVERY KID gets a BookBag w/Supplies inside♡♡♡I took my GranBabies for the day!! They were having so MUCH FUN b4 I knew it it was time to go for the SecondHalf of MommaTayeDay with HerGrans!!This is our 2nd year and I plan to continue this day for us until...................They graduate middle school😊Im🙏🏻🙏🏼🙏🏽 God Blesses Us to Go Another Year

2021-07-27This is one of the newer additions (renovations) on the south east side of Joliet. I think because of its location its often overlooked or counted out. Its a beautiful state of the art facility with amenities to accommodate small groups or parties. The facility is clean and kid friendly. I hosted my sons 13th birthday here so we could take advantage of the full gym for basketball and dodge ball. There is outdoor space available as well with a canopy, park, and lots of shade and space to run around. Ive also come here for events at church such as lock-ins and church picnics. Prices are reasonable and they even offer memberships which is nice since we no longer have the YMCA on this side of town.

2021-10-20I Love been able to walk on their inside track. I have a sun allergy (Photosensitivity) and cannot be outside enjoying all of the Sunshinng days.

2021-06-26This is a nice recreation center Im not sure of all the rules and regulations I really just checked out the outside but I do know that they do not have a pool thats the reason I only gave it four stars
