Ive always liked this office... until covid hit. Now they seem uncaring .. and i get the covid test need to go way up youre nose but some of these ppl need to pay attention to exactly how deep they go. My last time i have had a covid test the nurse was just menacing with the depth she went in. Omg i left and my nose was bleeding and it hurt so bad for a few days. Ive had 3 tests the first not as bad #2 was the worst hopefully the third wont be as bad.
Super disappointed in this facility with their Doctors. I brought my 4 year old into the office because he was running a fever of 104.5 and his Primary couldn’t get him in. This was our closest and best option to find out what was wrong. The Doctor didn’t listen to anything I was saying as I had to repeat myself so many times. I had to prompt him to give him a flu and strep swab. As the flu has been going thru my sons classroom. They came up negative-which was good. When he was done giving me the results he told me to keep doing what I’m doing giving him Tylenol and Morin for his fever. He stated that he was going to get our discharge papers together and be back in within 10 mins. They didn’t come back in! I opened the door and looked for someone. After 15 mins someone came out that I hadn’t seen and I told them I was waiting on my paperwork. The Doctor finally came by our room after 10 more minutes and stated He didn’t know I was still there! He printed my paperwork and we left. Fast forward to 5 days later I was picking up a prescription for me and they asked if I wanted my sons too?! What?!!!! They never told me that they sent in prescriptions for him otherwise I would’ve picked them up right away. So disappointed in this location with the Doctors they have on staff.
Theyve helped my children and better half on several occasions when my doctors office was not open(late night or weekends) Im thankful they helped my daughter when she had the accident with her elbow. they were compassionate and took care of her right away. I like the way they work, yes I recieved the bill, it wasnt something I could pay of right away but we managed they have payment plans and they did help my kids, thats all that matter to me, it doesnt matter what the bill is like, they lessened the pain and addressed it. over all 5 stars and thank you.
I had taken my son for treatment for his pink eye. My son had to use the bathroom and the woman at the front desk had instructed me to use the public bathroom after I had already checked in. This caused us to miss our name being called. They continued to call people who arrived after us, and responded with extreme attitude when I asked why I hadn’t been called, and others who had arrived after me had already been seen. The woman who checked me in was not friendly in the slightest. My son is 4. As you can imagine, having to wait for two hours to be seen is just a tad obnoxious.
I cant rate this any higher. Dr. Ishrat was not the nicest. She seemed to be annoyed that I was the last walk in and I was there pretty close to their last patient time. I had just got off work and needed to get looked at. I understand they probably wanted to leave yet I dont see why they had to make it so obvious that they were annoyed i was there. The nurse offered me water because I was having difficulty swallowing and she asked the the doctor to bring it in for me on her way in to the room and all i hear is the doctor complain that I had asked for some water. She was very quick and seemed to just want to get me out of there. I have never felt so unwelcomed here before. The rest of the staff was very nice but this doctor seemed to just not care. She gave me very bland answers and I didnt leave satisfied. It is sad that you almost feel like you cant ask questions because of how annoyed they look when you ask them. Very unhappy with her treatment.
We live only a few minutes away from here, and would rather drive 20 minutes longer then to go to this Convenient care. Have been there twice and both times it has been a big waste of time. The first time my wife sprang her ankle. The DR said you have a broken ankle, then 5 minutes later said you have a sprang ankle. When we got home they called and said its a broken ankle and you need to see a specialist, turns out it was just a sprang ankle and there was no reason to see and pay a specialist. The next time, which will be the last,. was the same result a big waste of time and money. They did not help or do anything to solve our medical problem. THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CAREFUL OF. This convenient care is in our network but when we got our bill they billed us for an out of network Dr. When we called to question the bill they said the convenient care is in network but the only Dr. working there at the time is out of network and it was our responsibility to ask the Dr. at the time of service if he was in our network. Craziest thing weve ever heard of. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!! We have been to other Northwestern facilities and they were great, this convenient care on Church Rd is awful.
They treat you like a number not a patient, the receptionist was rude and cold, I got lost and was late about 10 minutes and the receptionist told me to come back in two weeks even though the place was completely empty. if you have medicaid and medicare they will treat you like trash. I noticed the level of care on this clinics have become garbage, they rush you in and rush you out that is if they dont tell you to come back another day.
I have been here a handful of times for myself and children. The staff from start to end is excellent!! We have never had to wait more than 20 minutes to be seen and they always make us feel like VIPS. This last visit we were seen by Eric and my son just loved him. He had the nicest demeanor about him and is excellent with children.
I visited on New Years Day. So grateful the staff on duty on a holiday! Mary, the registrar, Lisa, the nurse, and Dr. Neil were all very pleasant and thorough. Dr. was careful to to read through my records so she knew my history. Cant imagine what other reviewers didnt like. I was able to schedule online and was in and out in a little over an hour.
I was very unhappy with the health care I was provided in Aurora. If I can give this visit 0 stars I would, but there is no option for it. I saw the PA Amy. I stated my symptoms and they are severe. I would not see the doctor if this wasn’t the case as well as pay a $40 copay. But based on my previous health experience, healthcare knowledge, and my symptoms I decided to go get checked due to ear pain, tinnitus, severe sinus infection. I actually have been going through this for a week. This PA stated to me that their guidelines for antibiotics were for 10-14 days. What ever happened to caring for the individual as a separate entity and not focusing on guidelines? What is happening to healthcare? I am not the one who seeks antibiotics for every issue. So this was a bit insulting for me. I will more than likely be seeing my primary care physician in less than a week with increased symptoms/issues as it wasn’t addressed at this visit:
Apparently I am invisible. Signed sat to wait. Next people walk in the receptionist called them over without them needing to sign in, sat patiently, next person comes in signs in. They then call me up tell me they have to take the other person first because they made an online appointment. Ok no problem, then next guy walks in signs in. Then they take him before me. Walked out. I only get an hour for lunch people,.
THIS IS NOT AN URGENT CARE CENTER! THIS IS AN OUTPATIENT HOSPITAL! I just received a bill for a visit 6 MONTHS ago at this location, where they took my urgent care co-pay up front. The bills I just received were for an additional $400. When I inquired with customer service they informed me that some time in 2018 NW Medicine changed the status of its urgent care centers to outpatient hospitals. This means MUCH higher out of pocket costs to most insurance policy holders. Just beware...
I come here and see Dr. Magana I am very happy with the service. All the staff is great, kind, attentive and I love my doctor. I feel that they really care about their patients and not just about $. I feel very comfortable coming here and will recommend my family to this office and Dr. Magana.

2022-04-05Site says 40 minute wait. Came from other clinic that lied about wait times. I arrive and there are three people in the waiting room. They tell me its a 2 hour wait. I ask about the website time and they say it only counts if people are waiting in the waiting room, and all the rooms are full of people waiting for the doctor. They need to staff better if they are going to call it immediate care and stop manipulating the website waiting times so it reflects the true wait.

2022-01-20******Please read! My first ever Google review FOR A REASON*********I came in for an x-ray the day after Christmas for a foot injury. My toe was black & blue, swollen, and I could not extend it so I knew I needed to see if it was broken. The rad tech seemed inexperienced, and could not get an accurate picture for the physician. I tried helping her by moving my foot around to get the right angles. She finally said that she thinks she got it and walked me back to the room.Ultimately, after 4 hrs of waiting total, I received a two sentence diagnosis after the assessment: X-ray images are unclear due to osseous interference. No fractures found.I couldnt believe it. How can you form a definitive diagnosis while at the same time admitting that you did not get an accurate picture??I figured I can just shake it off. But a couple of weeks go by, and I still cannot push pressure on my toe or curl it. So, I decide to go into a different clinic and get another x-ray. AND GUESS WHAT???Right away they find that I cracked my toe and it had been broken all along. Please, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR X-RAYS.

2022-01-22I highly would not recommend coming to this urgent care especially since they allow children who are being tested for Covid not wear masks correctly and they do not check people in the just make you wait for whatever reason . If you want to feel comfortable do not come here

2021-01-15I don’t quite understand why the recent ratings are 1-star.. the receptionist nurse was extremely kind and understanding! She’s the reason why I’m going to be coming back if I have any other issues. Her name is Amber, and she was very helpful over the phone, as well as in person. I waited less than 15 minutes which is AMAZING because I didn’t make any appointment, and all of the helping nurse and doctors were nice and helpful.

2021-05-15I went in to get my baby checked bc my clinic refuse to see him bc he was running a fever and it was a covid symptom. They didn’t tell me anything about bringing my other child with since I have no one to care for her & most clinics refuse to have extra people around . This urgent care were very friendly and helpful! They checked me in and the dr saw my son and prescribed him amoxicillin for an ear infection and even brought my daughter snacks and a juice while we waited ! She talked about my sons symptoms as well & I also went today for my sons allergic reaction ! And they checked me in super quick and the nurse was really nice to my son as well! The dr wasn’t super nice and friendly but she was helpful and did her job z everybody’s personality is different for sure! But the care was always amazing both visits I did !

2021-07-07I made an appointment to see a dr for my 12 month old. I arrived on time and checked in. Full waiting room of people, only 2 desk techs working. Proceeded to wait for 45 minutes past my appointment time with a 1 yr old who was desperate to go home. Was told I was next in line and then they called four other people and we waited an additional 20 minutes before giving up and leaving.

2022-01-09Is there a reason why the site is temporarily closed? Will they open the site back up or should we start looking for a new dr? All other locations are pretty far and this Aurora location was very convenient. Thank you.

2021-01-08Well since I was waiting for their survey to be sent out to rate but didn’t get it this time around, a review will do. 0 out of 5. The people that work here are not there for their patients and it shows. I had never had a reason to go this location for lab work but since my family doctor is here I ordered a COVID test. Talked to doctor he said I could go in drive through from 8-4. I asked if there was a cut off time before 4, he said no. Of course I work and don’t get off until 3:30pm get there at 3:45pm and the lady was really rude said they had closed already and I needed to go inside into the lab. So I did, the receptionist said I had other labs that needed to get done and asked if I wanted to get them out of the way. I said yes one of those requested an x-ray. By far the worst x-ray technician. Very rude not a people person. This was my first time getting this type of X-ray usually they’ll explain and say how it’ll work and what I will need to do. Nope, this lady just said “stand in front of the machine hands to the side.” I wish I remembered her name to report her. Last person I had was nice I have nothing bad to say about her. But I will definitely stick to the Naperville location from now on for lab work.

2019-11-03I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Salas with my most recent visit. I have come to this location a few times over the years, (mostly with my kids due to their pediatrician office being closed or weekend etc.) and recieved average care with a wait time of over 3 hours once. These other visits aside, this was the BEST experience I have ever had at an urgent care center. I was seen right away by Dr. Salas who performed a thorough examination. He actually stopped to listen to my story of worsening symptoms over the last week. He listened with his stethoscope to every single lobe of my lungs with care. People probably do not realize excellent doctors should do this with any resp symptoms. He showed me my chest x-ray on the computer and involved me in my care and treatment. His education on my medications was nothing less than stellar. Im pretty critical about these things because I myself am an RN. If I receive a survey, he can count on me giving 5 stars. Thank you Dr. Salas!
