While this may have been a depot at one time (like old Peoria Rock Island depot a few blocks west of here built in 1899), it is not currently functioning as a public depot or with public access. There is random building materials and equipment around the building, so could be public works or a private company of some kind. It did not seem to have any signage visible on Morton Street or from the parking lot. I attempted to look the building up online because I was curious who/what is using the building and found this place that I am writing the review for. As a side note, the adjacent train turntable may be moving from its current location to the Monticello Railway Museum. Only giving it a rating because it is required to post a review.
