Had ordered a gyros plate the meat had a funny taste called them and told them about it and because they hadnt had not other complaints its was nothing they would do about it never well go back this restaurant again bad business when wont do anything for there customers you just got to except bad food
7:40 11/16 My meal was kind of Empty for once. I kind of got the hint when the new girl over the mic said she couldnt upgrade a drink. Beef sandwich was pathetic see pic no meat. Fries where filled less also. Most of the time good odd times is like really you did me like that. Sauce smashed in the bag, missing item once and skimp or lesser items.Thanks Mickeys I come here all the time.4/14/21Havent not had time to come in to straighten my last order out but tonight I got home order and food were good but I am missing my mozzarella stick got the marinara sauce but no cheese sticks. I ordered a Breaded Buffalo Chicken Sandwish with Fries. But the chicken had no buffalo, it was extra crispy, and never got my fries!!!
I have been to establishment and it is not the same owner as Oak Park but the food was similar to the one in Oak Park. Dont get it twisted not as good but close and they dont have as many specials but overall very good.

My first visit was a good one! I had the rib tip dinner with fries. Staff were quick to disinfect surfaces between guest and the restroom was clean and well stocked. Overall I felt comfortable and enjoyed the experience.
I eat at this location often. However yesterday I received a Buffalo chicken sandwich that made me throw up immediately afterwards. I was sick the rest of the night and was not able to contact or bring in the sandwich. Today I went back to this location and expressed my concerns. I never said I wanted anything free I planned to pay for my new order today. I wanted to let the restaurant know what happened so they can check the chicken because this hasn’t happened before, so this wouldn’t happen to anyone else. The very short chubby man at the register shrugged his shoulders at my situation and said he cannot accommodate me in any way because if he does more people will come in and say they were sick for free food. As if I was lying!!!!! He showed no concern for a paying customer! I am very disgusted and disappointed!!
Mickeys has been a staple in our neighborhood for as long as I can remember! The Gyros are absolutely phenomenal! I enjoy their beef sandwiches and the special they have posted in their window. Recently they added a gaming section which makes it a lot of fun to wait for your order. I would definitely recommend this location to family and friends. They also have a drive thru which is convenient! Friendly service too!
Got a breaded chicken and fries my sons mother dropped off for me from Mickeys.Chicken sandwich was dark and taste burnt.Also got mozzarella sticks which was good but there sauce didnt taste right and very watery.
Drive through service was a young man who had a horrible attitude. Hopefully he has a better day.

We have been coming to Mickeys for several years. I am the Office Manager for an Automotive Repair Shop in Crestwood. Since we are a small, individual, family owned shop, we always try to support other small businesses as much as possible.So far, everything we have had from here, we havent had any problems with. If there was a problem, we had it addressed right away and were taken care of right away. I LOVE their Philly Steak Sandwiches! Not many places offer them. So, this is usually my go-to sandwich from here. They have always fulfilled any special requests we might have (ie... Crispy fries, add extra sauce, etc.)Everyone is always down to earth, very pleasant and friendly. Fran is usually the one that takes our orders. The drive thru staff, the Owner and everyone else in between are just as great! Keep up the great work Mickeys!! See you guys next time!
Food is good, especially the Big Mickey and Gyros, however the customer service is lacking. They should really invest in a better drive-thru speaker system. The person taking my order allegedly could not hear me speaking even though I was nearly screaming into the speaker.

I had never been there before because I dont live near Mickeys. A friend took me there for lunch.I had the double cheeseburger platter. There was so much there that I couldnt finish it all.If there was a Mickeys in or near Waukegan, I would definitely be a regular there.

They make a delicious gyro! Recently tried their fried cauliflower too. Its different than the location on Oak Park Ave. The cauliflower here is just done & salted, whereas the Oak Park version is a lil al dente and very little to no salt. The batters are different too...actually I love them both. Theyre great with a lil cheese cup from somewhere else lol.
Hot dogs was not anything special seemed a little cold. Not like it was hot and off the grill or boiled water. Maybe next time Ill try something else. But the food did come up fairly quick during lunch rush.

Ordered salad. Every thing frozen and wilted. The supposedly greek dressing was Italian. This place trying to make it on cheap, low quality food. How is this joint still open ? The bread was even terrible. Go up the street to Just Kabobs/ 147th Cicero and get fresh salad, fresh chicken and meat. Fresh everything. Only down side - closed on Sundays. The only thing I can think of about this cheap, low quality joint is - best of luck staying open in the long run.
What was ordered, rib tips and hamburger and fries. The rib tips look like ham hocks with barbecue sauce. Actually they were good. I wont order a hamburger with grill onions. The fries we re good.
This review may be biased since I have been going here since I was a kid, but I love this local place! I have had a large variety of their menu, including their most popular options and some of the less known ones. I see this as more of a carry out place, although it does have a pretty large dining interior. Its not the cleanest a lot of the time, and its not great if you dont want your kids to see gambling/slot machines. Otherwise, I love this place for its large variety and creat consistency through the 12 or so years Ive been going here!

Very good food reasonably priced
I like burgers a lot. Like super a lot. I have tried tons, but I always find myself craving a simple Big Mickey (I get mine with just ketchup and cheese, but you can get it with everything). Grew up right near here and I think it will always be one of my favorite places. I miss the older guys that used to be behind the counter (I swear, it seemed like they never slept, they were always there no matter the time of day), but the newer staff is super friendly too. The menu is massive, so if you arent in the mood for a burger, you can always grab something else!
We have gone to Mickeys for years as we live close to the restaurant. Usually we have really great service. Yesterday was not the case and I was shocked. We went thru the drive thru and ordered the following items: Combo beef sandwich (that’s a sandwich that has sausage and beef on it) A big Mickey no mustard or cheese, French fries, breaded zucchini and a chicken pita with lettuce and onion only. My husband had to tell the person taking the order 3x about the combo sandwich. He gives us the total and we say that’s not right. We get to the window he says what kind of combo? He didn’t charge us so again my husband tells him. He says you want sausage on that? My husband says yes. He gives us a new total and we pay it. We get home and my husband takes a bite of his sandwich and there is no sausage. The fries are lukewarm and my chicken pita has a few pieces of onion and one lettuce leaf and the chicken was extremely salty. I didn’t complain about the chicken or fries because I can reheat fries and deal with an over salty chicken breast.i can also add more lettuce and onion at home. I shouldn’t have to but anyways. I call the restaurant and tell them what happened the guy says no problem come back and we will give you a sausage. So I go there and he says where’s the sandwich? I said my husband took a bite of it and it’s at home. He says I can’t give u a piece of sausage until I see the sandwich because my cook said he put it in there. If he would have told me I needed to bring the sandwich back on the phone I would have brought it back with me. We had just come off of working a long day and were tired which is why we went and got take out in the first place. I said why can’t you give me the piece of sausage again? He says again my cook said he put it in there and I have to have proof and I’m sorry. Well it wasn’t worth going back again so I decided I would give them a review instead. We know some of the staff there and this is unacceptable to us especially since we are in a pandemic with the covid 19 virus and we are choosing to give them business.Plus by him saying this he is basically calling me a liar over a piece of sausage. Really? What would I have to gain by lying about a piece of sausage? This is the second time this has happened. The first time we let it slide. Unfortunately while their food is really good we won’t be going there for a long time. So if you go here at night I would suggest you double check your order before leaving the drive up window.
Last three times I went there to get food our order was messed up. Example: ordered Rueben with everything and a pulled pork. Got a plain Rueben and a plain corn beef. How do you mess up a two item order? Fries always seem to be soggy.
First time going here tonight! The food was good until I found a long strand of hair in my gyro. I get it, I know things happen but I’m so grossed out I’ll never go back. My daughters grilled chicken was not cooked all the way. The fries are disgusting. Super disappointed.

The BBQ half chicken is really good. We get a baked potato and a tossed salad. Thats our favorite but we like the hot dogs and burgers, too. The people are very nice and service is great.
Good Food at a Great Price where else can you get 2 hotdogs with everything a medium coke and a order of French fries for under $6 . Been to this place many times over many years and it has a Large parking lot and a large inside area to eat always kept clean has a variety of foods including Ribs and homemade soup. Bomb! Ordered a Gyro plate and a Grecian salad. Both very good. The salad was very large and filling. I gave 4 stars because the Gyro plate is advertised as serving for 4, which it is not at all. I placed an order a while back when I got home my full order wasnt there my shrimp was missing i called in immediately and they said no problem come back when you can and will get it to you well its been a while I work un Godly hours so I called tonight to order some food an to get my food that is owed to me and they tell me. We will no longer honor the credit that poor business practice take somebodys money but dont give them their food and then you dont want to honor the credit owed thats very bad business practice
Best ribs weve had in a long time. They were so tender the meat fell off the bone. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce and they include extra sauce. Price was good as well.

I ordered their fish sandwich (everything on it) and a baked potato (with butter and sour cream) at 9:30 p.m., glad they still had baked potatoes ready to go at that time. Both were very good. I was going to go inside to order my food but saw that there was basically no room to stand in there, so I went through the drive-thru instead. This place is always on point with their food.
The gyros are good, obviously. That almost goes without saying. Anyplace you go that has one of those upright revolving spits of gyros meat they carve off of, theyre gonna be good. Never order gyros from a place that doesnt have one of those, that means they have bags of pre-sliced meat in a freezer somewhere and that stuff is dodgy.The more surprising thing here is how good the burgers are. I have no idea what kind of meat mixture they use, if they put a little lamb or goat or something in with the beef, but the burgers taste like nowhere else. Theyre a little sweet, kind of? Whatever, theyre good, try one.Good prices, good people, great food, different soups daily...you cant go wrong here.
We ordered from here via über eats and when I tell you everything we ordered was so DAMN GOOD!! Please take my word for it, this was the first time we ordered from Mickey’s and we have no complaints you WILL be full and satisfied. We will definitely be ordering from here again.
Been going here for the better part of a decade. Always amazing.The short hispanic fella will guide you in the right direction if you have questions.Beefs are 7- 10/10 depending on the cook.Gyros are 8-10/10 depending on how you order.Burgers are 9-10/10 and you can ask how you want them cooked. And they are good.If you get the platters, they are too much friggin food for you to finish. They pile the meat on high and make it the way you want.Perfect.
Got the two hot dog lunch special. It was decent, will go back for lunch if im ever in the area again. Service was great!

I have been stopping at Mickeys for years and have never had a bad experience! The service is great and watching the folks behind the counter is an experience. Controlled chaos would be the best way to describe it! Orders are served quickly and the food is always great. Consistency is one of the best things about this restaurant. I would highly recommend Mickeys.

A person with a tattoo on her neck was rude to my parents that are senior citizens. She was laughing at them and giving dirty looks. This person should not be work with the public at all and I wonder what the owner was thinking when he or she hired this disrespectful person. I wonder if she would like It if someone treated her family like that. all I have to say to the owner is people wont deal with this and go somewhere else and spend there money. its a shame because the food is good but I will go somewhere else.

Im late on this review but I went around the first week of August. OMG first time having Gyros outside of Indiana and they were the best. I would go again when I go back to Chicago. The cucumber sauce was extra delicious. You get your moneys worth. Oh and the pizza puff was 🤤🤤 just mouth watering.

Everything is clean and tidy, and service is quick. Dont be afraid to talk to the staff because theyre always ready and willing to help! Honestly if youre looking for a nice family-oriented environment with delicious food (and copious amounts of it) definitely make it worth your while and stop by Mickeys 2.p.s. like for real they pack the gyros so full I could last 3 days with 1 sandwich and its sooo good. Havent tried the rest of the menu yet but the gyros are a great start
I like this place. Staff is always friendly. I order the chicken oreganato. Which is broiled chicken with a greek sauce on it. The sauce kinda reminds you of italian salad dressing. It comes with fries or baked potato, garlic bread and a salad. Absolutely delicious!!! You will thank me later.
Theres eight employees inside the place everybody has a mask on God bless all of them but when I come in by myself and I dont have a mask and you basically tell me to pound sand and get out you just lost my business for the last 20 years Ive been eating there if everybodys masked up why do I get a mask up

Hair in my food and doesnt really care.8 months later and you just want to clear it now? I spoke to someone at the time they did not care. When you get lunch brake you cant go back right them and there to bring back food. I took picture and was wiling to text it to someone. They did not care. I ate there 2 times a week for YEARS! On the menu it states chili cheese dogs come with fries. I ordered 2 chili cheese dogs for 2 separate people and was expecting 2 separate fries. I get home and realized I only received 1 fry. I call to let them know and girl on the phone tells me when u order 2 or more hotdogs you get the special which comes with 1 fry and if I wanted 2 fries I shouldve specified that. That literally makes no sense. No you guys should specify that on your menu! How was I to assume I wasnt gonna get what I ordered what you guys have advertised on the menu? If I didnt ask for the special dont give it to me.
Best Mickeys around. Great prices, great food, alcohol and slot machines. Best gyros around. Best hotdogs. Great pulled pork sandwiches. Ice cream shop. They have never messed up one of my orders. Tinley Park Mickeys also has never messed up an order.

Mickeys is ok its close to my home if you need a quick bite to eat. The restaurant needs to upgrade to a better drive through speaker, because my food is always wrong. I have family of 4. The thing that stands out the most is the friendly, professional, helpful staff. Im new to the area and havent had many of the menu selections but I am a fan of the chicken fingers, they are large tender crispy and juicy white meat lightly battered. Good prices and portion sizes 👍👍

If youre looking for a fairly decent JUMBO SHRIMP dinner...keep driving right by Mickeys in Oak Forest, IL.The Jumbo Shrimp is actually, medium shrimp,butterflied and triple coated with breading and flat pressed.There are better ways to spend $12....Go big and spend $16. for a full pound at a shrimp joint.Youll find much better faire there.Half star to effort, however not an option on this review.Not recommended.

Called this business due to my card information being stolen. The numbers were used at this location for 3 different transactions in 1 day. Spoke to a person who refused to identify himself by name who claimed to be the manager. When I explained my situation, I was pretty much called a liar. Bank statements do not lie. He then hung up in my face. Having this to happen to a person is insulting enough without having a business adding to it. I guess getting money is most important to these people and could care less how they get it!
I just had a to-go fish dinner from Mickeys and when i got home it was full of oil! I called and spoke to a girl who said to bring the food back and theyll remake it. The problem is that I dont live around the corner. I asked if she could credit me for the meal, she said no sorry. I just told her to let the cook know abt the issue, she said ok, but was very rude. Not good customer service at all! I gave 3 stars because most of the time Mickeys food is pretty good. Ill probably go back and just cross my fingers.
Showed up 30 min till closing, &ordered 4 meals to go. Chicken and frys were way under cooked, and instead of a baked potato they literally gave us 2 raw potatoes, wish I could give them less then one star.

Service was good. Milkshake was good. Fries were fresh. But that chicken pita#1 was dry Abd overcooked. They offered me bbq sauce... It was a choke sandwich literally.

The chili was great, but the hot tamales was over cooked in the microwave and tasted old. I had to remove it from my chili. How disgusting. I could have gotten really sick from this.

I literally went to this Mickeys for over 30 years of my life. Over 30 years! I have to drive super far these days, but I always had fond memories of the food that reminds me of my childhood. Until now . . . . the new cook has absolutely no pride and his wide eyed/shifty buddy that came in to the restaurant behind me must have gotten the cooks attention because after 30 years of consistence that was awesome when it was owned by the Greeks, is now ruined by a bunch of lazy jerks. My food was so terrible, Im only writing this now about 5 months past the incident, drive a bit further to go to Palos or Tinley, this place is going down the drain

By far the worst GYRO I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE the pita was hard as a rock. Half the meat was cold half was warm ALL was burnt. The gyro sauce was disgusting.i wouldnt recommend this place. I wouldnt feed it to any animal.
Over all a good place to eat. Food is always good and tasty. If you go thru drive thru make sure you check your food. Several times it is messed up and or missing. Definitely better when you order inside.
Nickys gyro is clean and delicious the food is always excellent the soups are always great, one thing about Mickey soups they always have meat and noodles some places give you a little meat and no noodles I recommend them highly I give him 10 Stars

Doesnt even deserve one star. Just got back from Mickeys tonight. They just skimped me on a French fry. So now all I have is two hot dogs to eat. Take a bite into the hot dog they cant even cut the tomato they just put a whole half of a tomato on my hotdog. They were old tomatoes too. The hotdog towards the last half of my hotdog had rock hard bread. It was really hard for bread. I called to complain they wanted me to bring back my hot dogs even though they put me on hold to look at the receipt to verify my purchase. They still wanted me to bring the hot dogs in that I threw away in the trash. They wouldnt even replace the hot dogs only offered to give me the small fry THAT THEY EFFIN FORGOT!! Place officially sucks.
Ordered a large soup...they ran out on the customer b4 me ans I watched the cook MICROWAVE my soup i just paid $4 for..then on my 3 hot dog special..1 only ketchup and 2 no onions or peppers..ended up with one no ketchup one no peppers or onions and one plain...(how hard is it to get that straight?) gyro plates are cheap and beefs are tiny...Nickys is waaaay better!!!!

Sucked really BAD...ordered 3 beef sandwichesIn stead of using fresh beef... they scraped up the all the crapon the bottom of the pan...you know all the little crumbs thatsbeen cooking for hours ...the stuff that way over cook.. hasNO FLAVOR ...That doesnt hold juice ....hard to eat!Had to give it a star in order to post this...It doesn,t earnthat MUCH..
I love the Italian beefs. They are very fare priced and pack the sandwich. Thats all I can bring myself to get however
I love the food, and they serve beer & wine also....which is very nice, and inexpensive.....HOWEVER, PLEASE Stop Screaming out the order to the cooks!! you are SO frickin loud & annoying!! a few years ago this was never done....Why not just write out the order and give it to the cooks!!!??.....This is one of the reasons I hardly come in here any longer.....I am trying to talk to someone and the person that took the order starts screaming the order to the cooks who are....oh all of 5 or 6 feet away? And when there is a long line, OMG thru my whole meal all i do is hear that! Is that just the trendy thing to do now cause of the cooking shows that do it on tv?? Seriously, come on!! let your customers eat in peace & quite PLEASE!

My favorite item is the Mickey Burger. It is a large beef burger with grilled onion, green pepper, mushroom, and cheese. You can add bacon and it is worth it.

2022-06-21Nicely remodeled new look! They have new menu boards and seating making this place look better than ever. They have so much variety and affordable quick food. Very tasty and always leave full. They have sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fish, chicken, bbq, salads, desserts, and so much more. Very nice workers and always a great time when I visit. Would recommend!!

2022-02-21I stopped here randomly & this place is soooo good! Everything from the customer service, to the food to the restaurant being super clean! EVEN THE BATHROOM WAS SPOTLESS! I didnt get a pic of my food because I ate it as fast as I was made & it was fresh! I had a Big Mickey meal and a side of mozzarella cheese sticks. They have a drive thru and a big parking lot. I WILL RETURN!

2022-03-04Me and my father had a banana split there pretty large! Very affordable defiantly a bang for your buck.... I love this places food too and and everything is good priced if you live in area or are ever in area defiantly a place I would highly suggest you try! Im pretty sure you will not be disappointed and there customer service is A1 too..

2021-12-11This place is really going down hill. Its sad actually, because I used to love this place. My last THREE (2 take-out, one phone order) were so wrong that thought it was a prank. I wont go into the details of the wrong orders, weve all had wrong orders that we dont notice until we get home. The food quality is want I want to warn people about. The 1st order was ribs, they were EXTREMELY fatty, and the little bit of meat I did find was as hard as the bones were. The 2nd order was a beef sandwich that was so overcooked that I couldnt even chew it. The 3rd order was today, this order was for my brother and I. As usual, my order completely wrong to the point that we both had to eat something that we didnt order. I could tell that the girl on the phone was new or not very sharp so I took my time and explained everything slowly. I ordered 3 cheese dogs with American cheese slices, NOT the liquid cheese, and raw onions, and he a beef with mozzarella. I got 3 cheese dogs liquid cheese, and a ton of grilled onions. His beef did not have cheese, and again, it was extremely overcooked. We also ordered cheese stix, and mushrooms to share. Ive attached a picture of the (mini-)mushrooms we received. Ive had their mushrooms before, and NEVER have I seen anything like this before. Mickeys has now become a Buyer Beware restaurant in my book, but I dont see me returning anytime soon.

2022-05-15Not the same Mickeys. Rude new girl should be fired. Beef sandwich was all bread, little beef, dry and cold. Fries were a third of previous portions. My friends order was completely missed, even as he stood at the counter for 15 minutes. I finished eating my cold sandwich (ordered and eaten in the restaurant) and my friend was still not served. He just canceled and we left. No apology from the girl at the counter, just an eye roll. Skip Mickeys if you want a good experience.

2022-04-28I ordered for the first time. I spent over 20$. The baked potato was good. The entree ok. But I ordered a Greek salad. I get home and open the salad up, 6$ for it. It was just a ton of shredded iceberg lettuce, popped all over the place! No Greek olives, onions, feta? Needless to say it was thrown out cuz I didnt want to scoop it off my table! Too late to call and complain?

2022-04-01Best gyros anywhere, hands down. The meat is so flavorful and not overly greasy. Their tzatziki sauce is freshly made and the best Ive had anywhere, the portions are generous and they have malted shakes, I also get the polish Chicago style, which is delicious, just not a big fan of Maxwell St style

2022-04-03I am a vegetarian they put meat on a order that was asked to not have meat on it. I got home a was unable to eat the food because I dont eat meat. I called them the lady on the phone put my name in the book to get a free replacement for the NEXT time I came. Today 4/2/2022 about 1 month later I asked for the credit and was told no because its been passed two weeks. I wasnt told on the phone when I first spoke with an employee about the two week rule. I asked if they would make an exception due to not being told about the two weeks. I was told NO.I paid today but this wasnt cool they made the mistake and wouldnt own up to it.
