I received texts that my pickup order was ready I arrived at the store to not only be advised that the item was put off stock but the replacement item was inadequate. Not a good start for my Meijer Perks
I wasnt there to shop. I was there fixing NCR equipment. One of the SCO were down. We re-imaged it and its up and running. Installed a SSD as well.
I just went in to get 20 mule team Borax. Many uses for it. I remember my Mom using it as a Child. Under $5 a box thats 4lbs1oz. Read up on the uses. Does many things. Its a laundry booster among other things. Try it!😉
We were in the Elgin location today. Geoff B. was very helpful and extremely friendly helping us find a few items. Great guy they need more employees like himAlso the man working the deli this afternoon was great with suggestions. Great staff

They always have good sales they do fresh ground beef in the meat market area.They are a lot cheaper than most of the grocery stores in the area.Have some of the best fruit.

The store was clean, organized, and easy to find everything I need. Major drawback: the self-checkouts here are god-awful. The “please wait for assistance” message comes up EVERY time you try to scan a produce item. And the touch screen on the credit card machine was in serious need of a calibration. When it asked if I wanted cash back, I pressed “no” and it selected $50. Went to customer service, showed them my receipt and was told there’s nothing they can do about it. Now I have $50 in cash that I need in my bank account. I had a really long day, just wanted to go home, and now I have to go out of my way to go to the bank because of these horrible machines. These self-checkouts have been the cause of many headaches during my trips to Meijer and I’m sick of it. Meijer is convenient and close to me, but the self-checkouts really make me want to avoid coming here.
Meijer is super convenient being open 24hrs. They however dont do price match which is inconvenient.
Time to try Jewel! This Meijer has been terrible for years. Always understaffed with long lines. Items always out of stock. I have gone to the Geneva store and found the items in stock. So Elgin has some problems its not a shortage issue. Todays lines were the longest ever, I left my cart. Manager didnt seem to want to get on a register to help. Are they short staffed or too cheap to have more cashiers?? Glad they have pointless greeters there to say hi!
Husband never went to this store prior to moving to this area and now he is hooked! Store is always CLEAN, employees very friendly (actually want to help you vs Walmart), and the app keeps getting better. Shop & Scan and bag your own items and get out quick! Awesome deals too! No minimum on FREE store pick up ( so sweet)! Thank you!
Meijer just hasnt been the same since they were bought out. Less selection, and they have problems keeping items in stock. Staff is friendly though.
I am right now on my way to shop at Jewel. Meijer has shut half of the self checks at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday. They seem to do this all the time and leave huge lines for checkout.
Not my normal location. Came here to get a scooter that was on sale and out of stock in Bloomingdale. It was clean and updated.

I found fresh produce and good quality of méat and the prices are excellent compared to others fresh market and fantastic prices on everything clothes shoes etc.
This is directed more at the gas station, when I walked in there were two people behind the counter that didnt even stand up and it seemed like I inconvinced them by even coming in.
Pharmacy was on time and well organized! All staff very nice.
I wouldnt even give the service at this store one star if you didnt have to I am a former employee of Meijer myself and I know the way myself and my mother were treated by a lady named Michelle in the u-scan on the grocery side would definitely have gotten me fired when I worked there she was very rude and not a good candidate to be working with the public considering I asked this lady a question and she flat out ignored me so I called her back over to ask again and she was very rude and hateful barely answering my question and giving us a very dirty look rolling her eyes as she walked away. I would definitely not recommend anyone shopping here unless you want to be treated this way...very unprofessional and rude with customers!!

Ive begun shopping elsewhere. This location has become dirty and unorganized. Theres always moldy and overly ripe produce sitting out somewhere and there have been issues keeping shelves stocked. Checkout lines are too long and there are not enough lanes open on busy days. Why do you have so many lanes at all if you only operate 3 or 4 at a time, ever?

The place was clean, but I couldnt find what I was looking for (a seasonal item) and I didnt see an employee for 15 minutes. Customer service told me three places to look but offered no more assistance. I found a single grocery employee on my way out who repeated the three places to look but did not offer to help me look.Bad form Meijer.

I only go to Meijer if they are having a really good deal on something. I really dont like shopping there. The store must have at least 30 check out lanes and Ive never seen more than 2 open. They want everyone to stand in line at the self checkout. I am sorry, but I have no desire to do self check out when I have $150 in groceries. If I wanted to be a cashier and a bagger, I would ask for an application. Update, I stopped in Meijer and this is officially my last trip to this dumpster fire. Its 4PM and they have 3 registers out of 24 open. I will never shop here again. I would rather be captured by the Taliban.

OK overall, but the 5 gallon water refill machines have both been broken in the same way for months!! They both have a sticker on them that say Last sanitized and serviced 11/9/21. How is that possible??
A lack of help from an understaffed store makes for an unsatisfying shopping experience. If youre looking for something specific, youre on your own.
Its okay, pricey store, but the cashiers arent jerks, so be nice to them.But its near 80° here and the store is extremely hot an humid. I was sweating like crazy and Im someone who goes to every park, prairie, forest and preserve, on almost any day...but not the same as a stuffy store that can afford to cool down the building. I have hope that they will fix this though, it seems well maintained.

Experience was bad, drove all the way there to pick up some game time wings, Generals chicken for a get together and I was told the deli was closed????? Went to Jewell osco and got everything I needed. Wont go to Meijer again. Very bad management to not have the deli fully opened at noon on a Saturday !!!
Very clean store. I purchased 2 angus strip steaks that were tough as shoe leather and tasted aweful. Jewel has better quality of meat. I will continue to shop here but will buy my meat elsewhere.

The reason is myself and my wife got our covid 19 test. Every day and night the staff is always busy. The customers use mperlks as a discount that saves money on different items.
Large selection, reasonable prices, more older folk them your typical store, but easy to navigate around if youre paying attention. Its easy to get in and out. Their produce is above average and the variety of products/departments is actually very comprehensive. Cleaner than Walmart, cheaper than target.
Meijers app on the phone is a scam. Twice now I have used M Perks, and their coupons, when they check out the order, they all disappear. I have sent back the last two orders because of this scam.

The staff here are always very nice, the store is clean, and produce is decent. I have no complaints shopping here, and their apps are cool. Their prices arent the greatest in the world, but I dont feel like Im being ripped off. Their Deli has a few other old timers who know what theyre doing, and that still take pride in their work.
If you have an extra hour to wait in line, shop here, but I dont recommend buying anything frozen because by the time you are able to check yourself out, it will be melted.Ive had to walk out of this place numerous times, leaving a full grocery cart behind, because the lines to check out stretched halfway through the store. Its ridiculous. Theres no excuse for them not to open up more lanes.
Great selection and prices on groceries. Sometimes the Meier brand products are cheaper and as good or better than name brand. Helpful folks. Frequently I have to ask where something is. They know and often take me there. Though I really wish they hadnt moved the cookies! :D

If you want to avoid crowds, get great produce, Walmart comparable prices, with great finds this is the place. They always have lots of carts available and Ive never had to wait in any sort of long line, if any actually.

I havent beem to a meijer in a few years. This one had a ton of dead fish in the pets section suctioned to the filters just stuck there hauntingly with algae and the florist area had dying succulents basically underneath the displays so unless you knew to look down there you wouldnt see or know they were for sale... I still like meijer but wont be going back to this one.

We placed an order for curbside pickup on Saturday. The next available pick up time was Sunday. We picked up the order and got our final receipt sent to us. Everything that we chose that was on sale, cases of pop for 5.99 for example, were 8.79. Staceys chips, full price, no longer 2/6.00. The list went on and on. Everything that was on sale on Saturday had gone off sale by the time they picked our order the next day.So we called and ended up on the phone with the store and the digital team where they said they wouldnt adjust the charge because they put somewhere (fine print Im sure) that prices on Saturday change on Sunday. Remember, we placed our order on Saturday, but got Sundays price.We looked at our mPerks history. Weve spent more than 10k dollars over the last year at Meijer.So today is a sad day for not only Meijer, but their loyal customer as well. We will shop elsewhere from now on...

Putting the liquor up front & making everyone walk to the back past the liquor to the food is ridiculous. The liquor dept is bigger than most liquor stores. Other than that it was clean & organized.

Friendly staff, clean store(7 months ago I gave them 5 stars)Today 8/18 @ 8 pm I was at the self checkout and needed assistance. I asked the young man for help and he completely ignored me didnt even acknowledge me. He helped. Then again the register wasnt scanning so I waited while he helped ppl that were there after me. A different gentlemen came to help. I dont know if he was having an off day but it takes 2 seconds to acknowledge someone. We are frequent shoppers and have never had an issue until today.
The store is extremely large & I found it difficult to navigate! I dont like when stores have sales, like they have! Buy one get 50% of second item! I only want one, why does a person not get a break for just wanting one? There were more of these so called deals! Some you had to purchase 2 or more items, to get the 50% of the 3rd. I did appreciate their milk prices, just over 2 bucks, no matter what %! The underwear, that is sold in packages of 5, just one of the basic names, was over $10.00. The best thing I got was a black belt, marked down from $12.00 to $4.99, 58% off. They also have different deals, pick out of a group of products, 5 for 5, which means, the items are on sale, but if you pick 5 out of how many in that particular grouping, you get an additional $1.00 off of each one of the 5! I am one person, there was only one item I liked on that particular grouping, I wouldnt know what to do with 5 of them, to save the extra dollar on each one of the five. One more think to mention, I have Agoraphobia, so I was in the store around 11, 12till 1 or two in the morning, with some one, accompanying me, so I wouldnt get too overwhelmed. I have had to just walk away, from several full carts, in the past! The only reason I mentioned this, is the few people, who were in the store, needed help, all over it! Dressing room, pricing, self checkout, which was the only thing open, until we got up there. I got to find several items, all I wanted to do is leave! So if you like shopping when theres no one around, I would recommend it, if you need customer service(I was asked 3 times if I worked there) go during the day!
Its clean. But since the remodeling the prices on the shelf are not what rings up at the register. They should have stayed meijer and not grid so hard to look and be like target.
The store is always clean and employees are friendly. The biggest negative for me is that when I usually go (between midnight and 4am) the shelves are pretty bare as the stocking hasnt really started yet. Their prices are decent, though a bit on the higher side, though with the addition of the mPerks program it balances them out a bit.
Great place to go when you dont have time to stop at several stores. This location is clean and well stocked most of the time. It is, however, sometimes difficult to find an employee on the sales floor to assist with questions. There is often a shortage of cashiers during busy times. However, there are some self check out lines.

Great place to shop did for years but not currently. They allow some people to shop without wearing face coverings. Complained about their policy in the store in Elgin and on the phone to complaint line. Never heard back from anyone. The sign on their window says you must wear a face covering but they dont enforce their policy. I wont shop at Meijer anymore and will let my Elgin clients know about this when I start to do their income taxes beginning in January 2021. Its sad that this is allowed. Ill just pay a little more at the Jewel, but feel safer.

Nice store. Clean and organized. Video game section is a bit lacking but overall a good option of youre sick of Walmart and Target.Oh, the bathrooms outside are always kind of gross, especially in the winter. If you absolutely have to use the bathroom here go to the one at the back of the store.

But when it takes the people in produce department takes a 1/2hour to get answer from some about the head of lettuce which is on sale for 99 cents each and the corn on the cob which is on sale also. You would thank that u could get an answer a little bit faster. Do like shopping there because the price are reasonable and there food is better quality. This is the first time I had service problems at Meijers.
Great grocery store. They have everything even Food, Clothing, Toys, Electronics, Home and Kitchen, Health & Beauty, Books, Pet supplies. Their prices are very good and accepts coupons and has a weekly newspaper sales flyer. They have a separate gas station with good prices.I use their free MPerks rebate program for special offers and Dollars off.I love Meijer and they open 24hrs a day.
I have not been in here for almost a year due to some personal issues Ive had with the overall store. I happened to transfer my prescription here and its stunned me with the transformation of the store... the new make over is wonderful and very inviting, the location has needed a lil picker for a while and they delivered...Next I must see if the customer service with the managers in particular has improved.Next update to come.

I would say they are the best grocery store around. But theres no rewards system. A person can buy a million here versus 10 bucks and they will be treated no differently. All companies should have a reward system these days.
I enjoy grocery shopping at Meijers because their grocery prices are competitive with other area grocery stores. The stores have expanded their selections of specialty diet items (e g.,gluten free and vegan, for example. I shipped this store after 10 pm on a Saturday night and most of the weeks sale price lshelf labels had already been removed making it hard to identify items in sale . The weekly ad was necessary to refer back to in order to identify which items were on sale, but the as dud not list all items within a promotion. So annoying when only selected 7tems if a brand are on sale and not marked as such in the shelves.
Why do they never fill the wipes in the despensers by the front doors. I see them filled once every two weeks or longer.Than they spray some chemical on the handles of the carts and dont even wipe the carts off. What ever they spray dries out my hands. And it dont even smell like sanitizer.
Whats to say its were you go to get food
Our cashier was Pamela and she was so rude. Ive never received such terrible service. She snapped at us about putting in MPerks too early and called 3 different managers about how to put in WIC I told her and all the managers told her it was supposed to be tax exempt but I guess she just didnt believe us? Meanwhile this line of people is piling up behind us making my wife feel extremely embarrassed and in the end all she had to do was exactly what we told me her to do. This is some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced.

Shopped this store tonight. Shelves are still unbelievabley empty while their competitors are recovering from Covid demand.Cart boys (3) were having cart races in parking lot near expensive cars when I was on my way in.Same cart boys were setting off car alarms on my way out.Tried calling to alert the Manager and was put on hold for more than 8 minutes.Poorly run business!
I stop here frequently because U.S. bank has branches in the Meijer stores which is very convenient. The items I needed were on sale and I was able to get in and out very quickly which I really appreciate! The greeters and people who work there are always super friendly, I have never had a bad experience at Meijer!
The selection is great and checkout at self serve is too. The parking is rough, especially with construction they have going. Not sure if the construction will help or hurt the congestion. Prices not as good as Aldi, but better than Jewel.

I used to know this store like the back of my hand. Almost 10 years. They changed the aisles and none of them make sense anymore. Dont try to fix something thats not broken. Its definitely broke now. Put the aisles back the way they were!!

We usually get the fruits for lunch cause its near my work place. They are really fresh. Also they have a great collection of clothes with discounts!
Gotta go when fewer people are shopping. The store is great and has a lot to offer. But other patrons can easily make a quick trip to Meijer really frustrating. Sunday afternoon and evening is the worst time to go, but its also when the produce are the freshest.

Had a lot of good sales on meat and boxed items. Everything was marked clearly. Employees were visible and eager to help. Only one complaint: the bathrooms definitely need some work. The toilet paper dispensers were empty, with industrial size rolls just sitting on the backs of the toilets. Dimly lit, and the stalls need a fresh coat of paint along with new locks. Remodel your bathroom.

I enjoy walking down Meijer shopping aisles. I must go theres two three times a week. People are incredibly friendly. Its a One-Stop shop for everything you want. They have clothing, they have gym shoes, they have books, they have a pharmaceutical area that cant be beat. They have all kinds of cards, Starbuck cards, American Express cards, iTune, almost any kind of card you can get. These cards make excellent birthday gifts. They have greeting cards. They have videos. Meijer Even have an ATM machine. Its better if I tell you what they dont have. It would be a short list. The most amazing store in the world. Hey if you want masks during the Coronavirus they have that too Meijer is amazing store. To me theres an adventure in Meijer. However, for most people prices are important. They have awesome prices. Try it. I swear to God its the best place in the world.

Im not used to using coupons but after shopping more often, I found myself using them and its nice that Im only given coupons that I would actually use rather than for random things.
This is a really nice Meijer. Its super clean, the staff is very nice and helpful, and you can Shop & Scan here. Honestly, if you like Walmart prices but enjoy a more Target-esque feel then Meijer is the place. Also - the M-Perks app is amazing; the wife and I have saved over $1,000 this year by way of coupons, deals, and offers.
The Elgin Meijer is well stocked, open 24 hours (see hours for exceptions), and clean. They carry Ben and Jerrys non-dairy ice cream.The check out in the late evenings is not ideal, but understandable. For late night shoppers, I recommend familiarizing with the check out kiosks so youre not delayed or keeping the line waiting. Again, good overall experience.

Not a big grocery shopper, with that nice, clean, aesthetically pleasing. Ailes are well marked. They do, however change selections, ex. we could not find our usual carpet freshener and sub buns. Nuff said.
OMG - I wanted a patio sofa for this weekend, but it would not fit in my car after I purchased it. I told the guys I would have to go home and get another vehicle. They offered to follow me home and deliver it right then and there. I purchase from Meijer regularly, but this goes beyond customer service. Thank you Lee and Conor. You Rock!
Excellent place to shop for food and just about everything else. Meijers has a huge selection of anything youd need or want. Prices are fair to moderate but the convenience makes up for prices. The stores we frequent are open 24 hours a day and are within 5 - 10 miles from our base.
Simple super centers, grocery, garden and general store products. Nothing special, compares to Walmart and cheaper than target. Good bakery, free antibiotics with prescription at pharmacy. Good lawn center. Nice summer stock and propane service for grills. Nice video section, auto and tool area. Larger than normal pet center. Butcher shop and dinner with great deals for lunch or take home. Friendly staff , open self serve registers. Over all a good store.

Really like this store, it is always clean unlike their competitor Jewel. I would drive an extra 15 minutes just to go to Meijer vs. Jewel. Also they have much better fruit and veggies.

Disappointed that there is rarely ever any beef femur bones (marrow bones) Ive been told twice that extra would be ordered and still nothing again today. When there are constantly bones, Id be more than happy to do all of my familys grocery shopping here but until then Ill stay closer to home.
I love shopping at Meijer because its like shopping at an old style, family market, yet has everything you need from a large chain store. Every store is kept very neat, clean & well-stocked!
We come here almost every Sunday, its prices are OK. Meat, Spanish foodare over priced. (lemons last Sunday were 3 for a dollar, Elgin Fresh Market=15 for a dollar; just a few blocks away)We need to go to another store to buy it. Their plastic grocery bags get thinner every time. We purchased drinks on glass container, the bag busted glass broke and my wife got cut in her foot. They did get the first aid kit out and helped us to clean her foot. This happened last year, I have suggested them to make their bags a little thicker but it has not happened as of 06/18/2017
I love shopping at Meijers & using their app on my phone. Im able to clip store coupons & see whats on sale & earn rewards for shopping. I was able to use my $4.00 reward on this shopping trip that I earned plus coupons I clipped equals lots of savings.
Normally I shop the Rolling Meadows store, and WOW this location is 10x better. Clean, friendly staff, ample parking. Better selections in clothing. Very organized. Id travel the extra miles to shop here anyday!!

Nice store and location. People always friendly and helpfull. This location has 2 self-checkout spots. One by each entrance...very handy.
Asked for assistance in electronics, was told to go to electronics and wait, store was paged, no one showed after fifteen minutes, tried again, same situation. Was not able to but product, wasted half an hour of my life, did not receive assistance.
Things are getting better with respect to item availability during COVID. Lots of visible signs theyre focused on cleaning as well

Probably one of the worst Meijers in the chain. If you ask for help, you will get the polite response from numerous employees, I dont work here, even though it is clear that they do. Ask another employee, and they say the same thing. Not sure what to do, but other stores in the chain seem to have more helpful employees.
Im really kinda disappointed in mire. After working for the company for 10 years back in the nineties its just not the same as what it used to be. The staff, customer service, management, and just the overall store isnt the same as what they used to be. Myers used to be your one stop shopping however items in certain quantities are not well stocked like they used to be. Clothing departments are much more minimal hardware soft lines except for a. At 1 time you used to have staff in each of the departments. Now 1 person May cover multiple departments at all because of the Almighty dollar
Came into the store at 6 pm for some fried chicken. To my horror they did not have enough for an 8 pc. I asked the clerk if they had anymore. He said no:. With a full basked clearly draining behind him. He didnt offer to make more. Looks like Ill have to find dinner at Jewel.
I was there Saturday around 7am , the check out line was long and everyone in front of me had million things in their Cart there were like 20 check out stations but there was only 4 open . Ill never go there again .
Love Meijer, wish there was closer in the city.

Meijers is a good place to shop. Its a step up from other big box stores. A bit expensive but they do have some deals. But $17 for a t-shirt on clearance is a joke!
Always have to check experation dates. Receive flyers in mail for sale items and they are always out of it example mijier cream. I think they purposely dont stock it so you buy something else not working with me. I would just rather go to Aldi. Lost a customer a long time ago
This is one of the best I Meijer Ive been too I really enjoy the parking lot I really enjoy the space inside the store the staff is very helpful and the convenient location is nice too since youre close to other stores that I frequently visit such as Walmart and Meijer plus you can stop at Noodles & Company right there its a really good location I enjoy it a lot they take care of the place pretty well
Close to where I stay deals are ok not to sure on how their return policies work with this pandemic so it would be wise to ask if ever purchasing clothes because you might not be able to return.

Bought a snail from the aquatic department and it was dead immediately arriving from home. Super disappointed that the man helping us didn’t realize the snail was dead. Will never be returning.
None of the checkers seem to know how to bag. Everytime I go, I have to rearrange my bags. Theyll put 2 lbs of sweet potatoes on top of a loaf of bread as a good example.
Pleased to see they carried Carhartt t-shirts. Now I got a Christmas 🎄 present while grocery shopping 😄
I went in to do an exchange and while trying to explain the situation to a manager store employees constantly interrupted. They did not have adequate policy info where it should be. Meier ONE thing. The customer is always right.

Im usually fond of their pizzas for a quick take and bake. But tonight I bought a supreme pizza and when I got home, opening the packaging the entire pizza is covered in mold. Now Im scared to shop at meijer for anything else

Great place to do your shoping, they always have good deals and its a overall a friendly environment. Meijer stores are always, cleaned and well maintenanced compared to others such as Wal-Mart.

They cannibalized most of their parking for business which I understand is being sold to Comcast I have no real annoyance or hatred against Comcast or anything like that its just wish this decreased parking Meyer doesnt seem like quite the best place to shop anymore also I dont know if anybody knows this but around the time that Im writing this it was snowing quite a bitso I ended up driving around looking for parking and eventually one of my tires got caught in the snow and froze over which in and of itself was a pain I know I should probably stop rambling its only making this longer my point is its a good place to shop but I just wish they hadnt done what they did

I have tried their pickup orders for groceries this is my third time trying them and each time they mess up the order Im done trying them and in order to get free pick up like all the other stores have you have to spend $50 in order to get that and then they still mess it up not worth the aggravation
Ok store. I avoid it as much as possible. Look at dates before buying and make sure bread is still good. Grabbed 1 pack of buns juat to see a solid green pack right behind it.
Im sure the price of some items may be cheaper at other stores, but for the most part their prices are very comparable or cheaper than most stores. Great selection overall, but I definitely like the choices in the produce department.
Good experience. Long time ago we shopped there. Didnt find some items like molasses, piloncillo, Jamaica, and some others.
The chicken basket meals are outstanding and the workers are very willing to help with allergens. As long as you can get someone to walk over from the deli meat cutting area its way better than KFC.
Fresh produce at a reasonable price. Coupin app is great! The only drawback to thus store us that they never have enough cashiers.

For the bigger supermarkets. I tend to like Meijer all around better. The clothes and shoes are far better quality than say Wal-Mart. The bakery deli meat and produce departments are far better with high quality goods and more of a selection. Unless you have a more local giant like we have in the Chicago area like Jewel Osco.
This meijer is disappointing, the produce isnt up to par. I just purchased a gag of fugi apples and a bag of lemons . The apples were unsightly and brown on the inside of half of them. As for the lemons, they were the ugliest that I have ever seen with discolorations as well as dark lines on all of them. I was going to boil them & add them to my tea. I had to use a grater to remove the lines. As a whole, this location needs corporate to come in to right its wrongs. Having the Undercover Boss show work with them would be a beneficial move as well!

Good quality products, fresh produce, and the meat grade is superb, the store is clean, staff is friendly and helpful my kids love going there as much as I do, not the cheapest place to shop but not the most expensive either.

Large Store. Has food groceries, electronics, toys, clothes, home decor, auto accessories, and more... Kinda similar to a Walmart or Target.
Im the type of shopper that likes to do some research before buying distinctive items. Meijer always had some of the most competitive prices on the market at a convenient location.

I go to Meijer at about 6:30 AM. There are very few people in the store then. The workers are always helpful and friendly then as well. The only problem is that Meijer doesnt always carry the brand that I want.
I wanna share my experience with the pharmacy today. My son has bronchitis and I took his prescription to Walgreens in Elgin. Honestly, I didnt have it for their prices $30.96 & $32.91 and they said both were their cheapest. Now, a friend told me about an app where you can get medicine discounted. I downloaded the app and yes it was a lot cheaper but heres the blessing, I was ready with the app, had my debit card ready and the pharmist handed me the medicine and said, you pay nothing today. I was like, really, he said yes, I said thank you and let me get on out of here just incase Im being punked because my son needs this. Lol, a moment but all I can say is, Thank you and Ill forever be grateful for what you guys done, even if it really was free, thank you.

It just feels right staying away from walmart. Its slight more expensive, but the atmosphere is great, chean and well worth the non-aggravation you feel at other stores.
This Meijer is always well stocked and has a pleasing odor. I always find what I need and the bathrooms are clean. Minus one star for that one time the power went out.

2022-05-14Since the recent remodel this Meijer looks fantastic. Theyve made it look brighter and more modern. The staff is always very friendly and they managed to keep the store looking well stocked and well organized. It looks clean and things are easy to find. You can tell that somebody in charge there values keeping the store looking well-kept, and I think its worth the effort. It never looks like customers have been rifling through and messing things up. It looks well cared for which translates to a better shopping experience.Its a big store with a lot of departments so its got literally everything you need, including the helpful pharmacy staff. While the store is never empty it has been rare that Ive had to wait any significant amount of time to check out. I tend to shop on weekdays in the morning, so I usually just walk right up to a checkout without having to wait at all. I have shopped there for years and dont recall a single bad experience. I recommend it.

2022-07-05We are very happy with this store. We are always happily greeted coming through the front door, the items always seem to be well stocked. I really appreciate the deals on baby formula when you buy a few cans and end up getting $20 credit to use next time. I also appreciate the number of employees I see in produce and in the seafood area. Anytime I am looking at Salmon, I am asked if I need any help. I especially appreciate to customized coupons that are sent to me or are given at the cash register based on my shopping routine. The produce always seems to be so much better presented and cared for compared to their competitors. I was referred by my neighbor to Meijer and will continue to do the same thing.

2022-06-10I just started shopping at meijer as of recent. I love the wide variety and certain things I can’t find anywhere else but here. I am a huge lover of all things animal, reptiles and fish. It sickened me to see that 9 of the fish tanks were completely green. The fish as you can see were huddled at the bottom of the tanks, feeding OFF OF EACH OTHER and it was horrifying. If you look to the left of the tanks, there were perfectly clean tanks with fish inside that were more exotic then your classic goldfish or as some people call feeder fish. For a store like meijer to do something like this for the public eye to see, you would think they would have more of a heart to treat their animals and fish the same way they use their values to treat everyone equally. Do better with taking care of your fish tanks. Besides that the store is great.

2021-10-03I’ve had good visits. But one time. I really mean girl who bagged my stuff threw my stuff into the cart etc BUT since for whatever reason she decided to hate me. She wouldn’t scan several items & I got them for free. I literally told her scan the bigger stuff but she continued ignoring me & giving me nasty looks. I only use the self checkout now when I go. But thanks for the freebies weirdo that I don’t even know. I’m leaving them 5 stars because the store is nice & the other employees are friendly.

2022-05-23High prices and often only has self-checkout lines open, especially later at night. If youre going to charge so much more than your competitors then I shouldnt have to do the cashiers job for you for free.Otherwise, clean store with good selections.Open an actual checkout line.

2022-04-01Little to no help, you walk around and barley see any employees, and when you do find one, they don’t seem to help much, I was waiting in the electronic section, trying to buy an item that was locked up, went to look for help, found 3 different employees, I kindly asked if they could assist me in getting said item, only to never be helped. I stood around for 30 minutes, and I only came for that one item. Needless to say I left empty handed.Thanks Guys!

2022-06-01I been living in Elgin more than 15 yrs. every time I go this gas station its gotten worst For Example Gas Pump always are not working, no paper towel, no window solution for my truck, garbage over fill and the worst part they are higher Gas Prices $$ than other gas station near by Just (POOR MANAGEMENT) this how you loose customer.
