I have been going to DuPage Dermatologists on City Gate and have always had good experiences. Now that they have broken off to Duly their services are no longer acceptable. It just took me 17 minutes and 4 separate Calls to get through to their office. Calls are routed through a call center first. Needless to say I will be looking for doctors not affiliated with Duly.

Im currently a patient in the dermatology office there and have been waiting for them to handle preauthorization paperwork for an prescription they gave me 6 weeks ago. I tried calling to ask questions but theres no way to get through to a staff member in their office. Maybe a bad Google review will help motivate them.

At first, I really liked this office. However, they have changed the way that they bill for certain things. After trying to make an appointment for a worrisome skin tag I was informed they would not bill insurance at all due to insurance companies in general giving them issues. I would have to wait for a quote before being seen. Being a worrisome issue it was easier to find another office that would see me not only sooner, but would not put the insurance issues on their patients. Chatting with scheduling could not care less that they are losing patients over this nor my worry that the issue could be cancer related. This must be part of the overall issue that Doctors keep leaving this practice and havent seen the same one more than twice there.

I saw Dr. Charles and another provider whose name I can’t remember. For one issue, I was prescribed antibiotics that made me violently sick for a viral infection, which obviously accomplished nothing. When I went to another practice, they didn’t believe a licensed dermatologist would have done this til I pulled out my Walgreens app and showed them the prescriber name on the medication. The second provider took two biopsies for a simple skin irritation rash leaving HUGE messy raised scars that haven’t faded or lessened after close to 8 months now, and of course charged me hundreds for the procedure.Every time I went in they tried to sell me upcharged products to the point where once a PA wrote down the actual cost of the products over the counter and alternatives once the doctor left the room and urged me not to listen to his recommendations! I’m disabled and unable to work full time which the doctor knew and he still tried to sell me tiny amounts of a product to fix the unnecessary scars their practice left for $50 more than it’s actually worth. Shameful.

Had surgery at their office to remove mole and surrounding tissue. Got infected. Went back to same doctor. Took a swab for testing but no further treatment or follow up call. Had to go to the ER to get it addressed. Admitted for two days and given the strongest antibiotics. Only after I got out of the hospital did I get a call back from the doctors office asking how I was doing. Thank God I took matters into my own hands. Not very happy with this dermatology practice. Never going back.

I was in the waiting room at 8:12 and walking back to my car by 8:17. Chris spent under 30 seconds examining me and then walked back to his computer and spent the other 3 min of the appmt with his back turned towards me. He never asked me about my symptoms. When I started explaining them, he was visibly unimpressed and cut me off.Edwards Elmhurst has highly recommended derms in the same area. Use them instead.

Unscrupulous medical office and policies. I have tried to refill a prescription that I have had for several years refilled during Covid-19 without needing to go into the office. For a phone consultation they want to charge me$150.

Dr.Mafee ....what can I say...She spend 5 min inside, I asked about few problems, and also I wanted to ask about my face. She told me that she spend enough time with me, and she will take a look on my face on next visit for 6 months.Isnt something wrong here?!I get out of them at 9:08....appointment was at 9am. And they printed on after visit papers 9:15....I will not be back here.Bedside maners are for discusion. She is standing so close to me and I feel like she is gonna jump on me every minute. I know, eye contact and everything but this is too much! She didnt help me at all. I can say, find some other doctor.

Used to go there until they misdiagnosed my daughters skin issue (even after a BIOPSY!!). Ended up in the ER and finally found a doctor that properly diagnosed her condition. Within a week after proper diagnosis she was 80% better - after suffering for two months. They have really gone downhill with the turnover of their good doctors.

Just wasted $100 on a 10 minute consult. If they wouldve told me even approximately how much one vein treatment would cost...$800, I NEVER would have made an appointment to come here. I asked 2 different people and they skated around the question. That cost is outrageous!!!!
