Terrible in-person staff, service, and very poor professionalism. If I can give this facility a 0 star review, I would. I arrived for my daughters scheduled appointment time 5-8 minutes prior to her actual appointment. I patiently waited in line for just a few minutes while an employee was already checking in the person in front of me.The second employee (who was just sitting there not assisting anyone) never called me up until I made contact and asked if she was available to check us in. She proceeded to help check us in and then advised me that my daughter will NOT be able to be seen today. I asked why and she stated that I did not arrive early to fill out paperwork. I was early by more than 5 minutes. I expressed that I had confirmed my appointment twice over the phone (one of those times just hours before) and the other confirmation was two days earlier. I stated it was suggested to arrive a few minutes early to fill out the forms but wasnt required. She then told me that the Dentist had already left for the day. I turned my phone around to show her the time which by now was already the appointment and I asked why the dentist would be leaving when we are here for our appointment AND on time. She then retracted her statement and said the dentist hasnt left yet but is getting ready to leave. She then called the dentist briefly asking if they would see my daughter (which by now is 2 minutes passed our appointment time) and the answer was still no. So it was NOT just the front desk staff, but the actual dentist as well that was conducting poor professionalism. Furthermore, I also stated to the representative I schedule the appointment with, and also again during confirmation of the appointment, that I would be driving from about 45 mins to almost an hour away. I was told to do our best to arrive on time (WHICH I DID), I arrived even a few minutes early but was kept waiting in line, and although it was only a few short minutes that I waited, to be turned away and refused was unprofessional and a complete waste of time. My daughter is only 5 and it took me days to build her up mentally so that she can be brave and excited for her appointment. The disappointment on her face as we had to walk out of this facility and her not understanding the reason why, is what brought me to write this review. Worth it for my first review as this place is terrible and from similar reviews I can see it is a pattern. Why not start telling people over the phone that they would be turned away? You might have better success with review rates.
These people are ridiculous. Cant tell me how much an appointment will cost until I make one? I have the right to know what services will cost before I schedule an appointment. I have the right to compare prices with other healthcare providers. I am insulted and alienated by these policies.
I would give this facility zero stars as well because I’ve ran into countless unprofessional interactions. I went to three appts and each time was not treated professionally. I’ve been to plenty of facilities able to properly conduct business. This one isn’t. I’ve been turned after going to an appt when they could have easily called me and let me know. I’ve decided this facility is not worth the aggravation and have moved my daughter to a more respectful place.I have been told to feed my newborn in the bathroom, I have been rude too and gotten attitude and I have been turned around after making an entire trip which could have been avoided with a simple phone call. Too many unappealing situations.Some people come here because they have to. I hope the service is fixed for those who do because it is definitely not fair to them to be treated like it seems every one is.
I took off work today and drove 25 minutes got there 12 minutes early stood in line for 10 minutes and got rejected because I was 2 minutes early Ive seen this happen to at least five other people in the last 6 months honestly I dont know why I didnt find a new doctor months ago. I my last appointment I got there 15 minutes early and sat there waiting for my doctor for more than 45 minutes. Cause me to miss a very important meeting with someone dear to me that I dont get to see often. And I really dont feel like the Doctors Care much about their patients from my experience. they just wanna get you in and get you out and I realize they have a lot of appointments every day and its difficult but this is the profession you chose to have some pride in your work and show some actual care for people. I got better treatment from prison doctors and that to me is concerning
Been bringing my mother here to see the MD AND PA; they are fantastic! The reception staff, on the other hand, are so rude! And need re-training on customer service skills. I called a few days ago for my COViD results and was rudely rushed off the phone; then, the receptionist pretended not to hear me when I could listen to her crystal clear! I had a few more questions to ask. Reception just hung up on me! Called back was forwarded to manager named Oscar. I was able to leave a voicemail regarding my concerns about how rudely I was treated by the reception staff. I never received a callback, and it has been a few days. I don’t expect them to call me back. This facility doesn’t seem to care about patients or provide good customer service.UPDATE***IN response from the facility, its been one month later, and STILL, NO ONE has followed up with me.UPDATED REVIEW 5/10/2022No one has reached out to address my concerns. I brought my mother in to see Dr. Mark Thompson today. He seems like a knowledgable provider, a little rush but a nice guy. He ordered the blood test. The waiting time for blood draws is 2 hours; this is unacceptable. The lab technicians need to be more efficient in getting patients in and out in a timely matter. 2-hour wait for blood work is unacceptable.
I began seeing Dr Mark Thompson in November 2020, since my PCP was retiring. I was concerned that I wouldnt be able to find another doctor experienced with my medical issue, however, he put my mind at ease during my first appointment. I would recommend him to any prospective new patient.The staff definitely needs some customer service skills. They have a redundant check in procedure. I dont understand why I check in and sign the clipboard, go sit down, then they call me back up to register, then you sit down and get up again when they call your name for your appointment.Ive always been 15 minutes early for my appointments, per their office policy. Only once, when I arrived 5 minutes early I was reamed out. I tried to talk to her (receptionist) in a professional, quiet manner, but she raised her voice and spoke over me. I explained this was the first time I wasnt 15 minutes early. She even threatened me with not seeing the doctor. She didnt care and everyone in the waiting area heard everything she said to me. I was quite embarrassed.At checkout, you sit and wait again until your name is called. Theyre slow as molasses. She finally called me up and kept asking me over and over, when I wanted my next appointment to be. Some of them dont seem efficient using their own software. Ive actually waited close to 10 minutes while she looked at her screen. I feel as though theres some type of disconnect with the office staff.
Very unprofessional. I set up an appointment for my son’s dental appointment and waited 3 months. 3 month wait for a dentist appointment just for them to call me and say that they can’t see me and will have to reschedule for another 3 months. WHAT A JOKE.This also happened with my own doctors appointment where they have to reschedule because the doctor won’t be in or I have been double booked.
Horrible staff! Today I got here and was told Id have to wait an hour to be seen. They shouldve called me to let me know. They have a policy that patients MUST be 15 minutes early or wont be seen. The front desk staff is rude and not at all caring to inconvenience patients.
I came in for an appointment I had. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled appointment, however there was a long line to check in. I was able to sign in, and I then waited for my name to get called out to be able to get registered. Everyone else that kept walking in got called in. I waited about 30 minutes before I went to talk to the same lady who checked me in to let her know I hadn’t been called yet. Her response was that I would get called shortly and that someone had already registered me. Something didn’t seem right but who am I to tell them how to do there job. When I realized it had been an hr and 15 mins after my scheduled appointment time, I went up to one of the ladies who register and told her I had been waiting. She checked and told me that since I arrived only a minute before my appointment time, I wouldn’t be able to be seen. I told her what happened when I went up to the check in lady, and her response was, she didn’t check. (I went up there once to check in, and a 2nd time to double check) and she didn’t check?I do understand there policy- however, the fact that I had to wait over an hour, and not being told that I wasn’t going to be seen is ridiculous.I was told I could be out on the wait list.. a waitlist I could’ve been added on since I had arrived yet I would have to wait an additional amount of time for the other people who arrived after me on the list.
This facility is shockingly unprofessional. I had an appointment *scheduled* for my child at 12:30pm today, we arrived at 12:15pm. Mind you, we live 35 minutes away and I had to take her out of school for this scheduled appointment. After sitting in the waiting room for 25 minutes (10 minutes after her appointment was supposed to be) I was asked to come to the window for them to say she couldn’t be seen today, because her slot time was reserved for a sick visit. So, why schedule her appointment for that time?! When we checked in the same lady said “for a school physical right?” meaning she knew as soon as we got there what her visit was for. We got told she could come back at 2pm, but that doesn’t fit our schedule at all. We waisted our time, gas, and my daughter missed most of her school day because of this ridiculousness. There was no one else in the waiting room so I’m not buying their excuse at all. This entire situation is beyond frustrating.
Terrible place, haven’t even gone here ever but I’ve tried making an appointment for breathing problems and the day of my appointment they decide to tell me it’s been canceled. They say they called me , but they did not call. Don’t waste your time here call your state insurance and have your PCP switched this place is a joke and they do not care about your health. Incompetent staff and terrible service.Everybody needs to report this place to the better business bureau for lack of care in patients.
Once the doctor called me and gave me the results over the phone. After my second visit I called for my results to be given over the phone. The young lady tells me it’s not allowed but I explained to her that in the past the clinic has called me to give me my results. I also requested 3 weeks before my visit that I didn’t want mail being sent to my house. They told me that would make it a note in my profile. Then the day of my visit I made a payment and checked my profile and it says a bill has been mailed to the address. That’s very frustrating because they completely ignored my request. Then someone at the clinic says they have no control over that so why was I told otherwise over the phone. Extremely contradicting information from everyone. From the other reviews I can tell nothing has been done to improve a patient’s visit/ experience with GFH.
This place boasts about its award winning health care but I’ve found it to be absolutely terrible. They expect you to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment but are rarely on time themselves. I’ve waited over an hour past my apt time and no one says anything they just let you sit there. Getting a call back from a doctor is a joke. My child is seen for ADHD and managing medication is a trial and error ordeal. Providers need to be available and return calls for medication adjustments and they aren’t. I’ve been waiting for a call back for 11 days now because my son’s new medication hasn’t been effective and was just told yesterday after calling for the fifth time that the provider will now be out of the office until next Tuesday. Still no return call before going on vacation. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place!
The place is fancy. They obviously spent money for the reception area BUT the receptionist however lack skills to be a patient advocate. Theyre abrupt. No eye-to-eye contact. One receptionist would ask me questions but cuts you off mid sentence, and there was only one patient waiting. Its like theres a fire. There was no phone ringing so I dont understand why they have that panic/disorganized behavior. I understand if the room was full. Or multiple phone lines ringing? The feel of the environment/office was miserable. Its like cook country.The other staff were too loud talking in the background, doing friendly banters.When you go to the back there were more staff. The feel was professional, less stressful, different from the front desk. They should be helping upfront, if the receptionist are struggling with check- in for incoming patients.Wait time on the phone was >20 minutes (but the line to be a NEW patient, they answered within couple minutes).And after that, I just kept getting hung-up on. And thats just to speak with med records. Was told Im not allowed to see my med records (pls refer to the HIPAA guidelines). Im assuming because they see my phone number on d screen? Because I was determined to talk to someone that day. I rarely get a day off for errands. Im sure you understand if u work full-time. I was frustrated. My husband tried his cell phone, then his call went through. I cant see my family going through that over& over again. Its troublesome.And too many staff in the room. If that was my husband, hell be so uncomfortabIe. Iwas disappointed because I really liked the cleanliness, mission of the clinic, the clinical staff but I wont be able to tolerate the behavior of the receptionistT and the long hold. They all appear nice but again just professional patient communication training. .
Went for a walk in visit regarding digestive tract issue. Waited for over 4 hours in the waiting room on a weekday. Finally got in and waited another 45 minutes only to be told to bring a stool sample ASAP. Gave the stool sample and heard nothing for a week. Called and said that results should be in soon. Called again about a week and a half later and told there was no record of a stool sample being collected and tested on. Worst place to go, too long of a wait for poor service. Has a 1.9 star rating for a reason. Find somewhere else to get treatment.
This is the worst place I ever been, they want you to be here 15 min earlier from the appointment and then they will give u warnings if u get here one minute late snd for 3 warnings they suspend u for one year and the people working are rude and I got here early today and they said that they are runing 40 minutes behind from my appointment and it was just rude like if my time didn’t matter which they didn’t even try to fix the issue with my appointment by Telling the provider or another provider to meet me telling me to get another appointment and I live 30 minutes away fromHere super far. So be aware of this place this isn’t a good atmosphere
I can see why this place has low ratings now. The doctor that I went to see is very professional and straight to the point, but a lot of the reception people are very rude and disrespectful, especially to a first-time patient like myself. One person even called me and told me I had to make an appointment to get my lab results which is not accurate. Otherwise someone else in another dept. would not have set me up with a patient portal which I mentioned about. She was very rude to me. The bottom line is, I will be finding a new doctor. Maybe this place will be able to attract new patients if staff members were more respectful to their customers.
Absolutely horrible. I am going through a high risk pregnancy. I scheduled an appointment at 11am and drove all the way out here from dekalb and because I did not show up 15 minutes before my appointment time (and they’ve canceled my appointments more than once) they told me I had to sit and wait for a possible no show or reschedule. I walked in on time. And this was the only time I did not make it here early despite the hour I drive to get here. I’m shocked at the lack of care they provide to pregnant women. And my doctor usually only maybe gives me 5 minutes of her time at each appointment. What a joke!
Let me first say that I LOVE my doctor, she is amazing. The rest of the staff and never being able to make an appointment that is less than a month away is the issue. I can never get in unless I want to wait weeks or months. The call center staff is rude, dismissive, and has a whole lot of unprofessional attitude. They start the conversation with attitude which makes the whole call bad. They dismiss you before you are even done talking and hang up. I am on the phone changing providers for myself and my 4 children.
WE love all doctors there ,they are so nice and great educated ,but the reception staff on the other hand are so rude ,very RUDE . And need re-training on customer service skills. they refused to give me my son test result ,what i needed for school ,and health department they are telling me it will take 24 to 48 hours ,or i can come and pick-up ,what i cant do it, cant leave my work. When my son school nurse call them ,5 minutes after me ,they give her right away ,so what is that ???looks like the receptionist can do wherever they like to do in the office ,and manager dont care ,there is so many nice offices who can put patients first ,dont waist your time ..
BEWARE! DO NOT GO HERE !! THEY CHANGE DOCTORS WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION!!! FRONT DESK IS THE WORSTEST OF THE WORST. LISTEN TO OTHER REVIEWERS. They dont take pregnancy seriously. I wont hesitate to give my details on web.07/18 3.35PM: We booked appointment with Dr. Sarah and given time of 3.15pm 08/06.08/04: my wife called in to confirm my appointment and they said its confirmed and asked us to come at 2.45pm on 08/06.08/06 2.50pm: We visited there and all the nasty thing begins. Front desk (far left) - a Hispanic girl was in her phone all the time (NO RESPECT for CUSTOMERS). We waited 20-30 seconds at her window and she didnt even look up.We went to middle window guy. He surprised us by saying that yes, we have appointment, but its with Dr. Pepper at 3.15pm. Dr. Sarah is booked up for today....WTH... How could you change my appointment at the time of my visit? (I have a 6 minute call recording to prove that I had appointment with Dr. Sara McCormick). After many arguments, I asked if Dr. Pepper take our insurance? He was like - I dont know. As per him, they do not take our phone calls to schedule our appointment or customer support. Its the job of their call department. He can reschedule though 2 weeks later. HELL NO!!! [update: The most recent review below my review has a photo of front desk receptionist who talked to us].Not a single apology in full conversation.Hey Greater Family Health, If youre reading this, check your videos of above timings. How could you run a hospital like this by ruining time of 100s of patient? Im 10 week pregnant and now I have to look for other doctors and wait another 2 weeks till I get to see some doctor. 8 to 12 weeks of my pregnancy will be gone without a doctor, just because of you dumbads.
Place is super cold. The lady at the entrance does not seem to acknowledge patients as they come in, only when they approach her right in front of her. Appointment was at 12:30pm and arrived since 1215pm and still not have been called. One last thing, weDon’t come here because we want to, we come here because we need to, the least thing the nurses can do is to have a warm welcoming tone and voice otherwise go and work at the DMV if you feel the need to talk to patients that way
THIS PLACE IS TRASHThis place has been the worst place I’ve ever dealt with the staff as far as reception is terrible they are all full of them selves bad attitudes talking about personal stuff while I’m waiting to be checked in. They make your appointment then ask u to come in 15 min prior to sit in a room for 45 min as far as the nurses and doctors they are okay but reception is the unbelievable disrespectful.
Extremely rude rep, called to confirm an appointment and received an attitude and appointment being cancelled due to their error. Wouldnt answer my questions and no appointment til mid Sept after waiting already 3 weeks for this one. Send her home if shes rude at 9am how will the rest of the day go?? Rude! Rude! Rude! Update: i did call and leave a message at 12 at the number below. Still waiting
If I could rate a 0 I would. I have been dealing with ovarian cysts for months now. I had a date for surgery and I show up. I get my room and get the IV in and ready to go. Waited for a hour till the charge nurse comes in to inform me that the doctor was not going to be there and supposedly the doctor called her patients to cancel appointments and surgeries. Well I was never notified. Talked to a manager and she set me a appointment with a different doctor. Much to my surprise that doctor said she could not do it and for me to set a appointment with yet a third doctor. Today I get a voicemail saying that now the third doctor is still out for a while longer. Normally I just deal with it and whatever. But when I have a 7 month old baby and I have a hard time holding her while Im standing cause Im in pain I have to do something.Enough is enough. If you dont have enough doctors to cover when some are out of work then maybe you should find doctors to cover the ones out.Edit--- Stood corrected, its not this location but the same name, its the Seneca (spelled wrong) location on Dundee.
Horrible care! They are all over the place, not personal at all! I understand they see low income and Medicaid patients but that doesn’t mean patients should be treated like they are inferior. I recently made a follow up from the ER appointment for my daughter I got the appointment 2 weeks later and when I arrived 1 minute late they refused to give her care and I told them she was in pain they showed no empathy and did not care. My daughter was not a new patient she had been there previously and for them to turn us away was very unprofessional. Never coming back.
I called at 7am on my personal cell phone and sat on hold for an hour and 46 minutes. I then decided to call off of my work phone as well, I got through within minute on my work phone. When I spoke the operator and was explaining this to her, she was extremely rude and told me I dont know how the phone system works. You can call tomorrow. I explained that I am concerned with calling again and waiting over an hour on hold to be ignored again. She then gave me even more attitude and told me I dont know what to tell you. I asked to speak to the manager to see if there was something they could do to ensure this wouldnt happen again and the phone operator hung the phone up on me. As a healthcare worker, I know that NO patient phone operator should act like she did. Your voicemail says you give exceptional care, based off that phone interaction I HIGHLY doubt that. You have some of the worst customer services employees I have ever dealt with in.
Absolutely awful Healthcare. I completely ran out of my Medication waiting for them to approve the refill and not one doctor was available to fill it. All they say is well send A message. How can a Healthcare facility allow a patient to run out of medication thats needed daily!! Also, they cancel appointments same day regularly.
Usually, I dont complain but this facility completely failed me. I went to the assigned clinic that was on my insurance which is this place Greater family to get my spranged ankle treated then did the x-ray that she gave me a referral to and now they are telling me they have no appointments to go over my x-ray results till September or I can walk in and just sit there not knowing if I will see someone or not because they only see walk ins if someone happens to cancel their appointment. So, now I have no idea if my ankle has been torn or fracture they have my results but wont tell me because I cant get in for an appointment ??? So Im just going to the Emergency room I have never experience such disappointment. Elgin Greater Family Care...yea never again. Hopping around untreated after going to them for treatment but they have my x-ray results of my spranged ankle that is so swollen right now but they cant get me in when clearly this isnt something that can not just wait.
Horrible customer service! Tanya, the front desk lady, kept giving so much attitude and giving smart remarks about me showing up 3 minutes late for a lab reading appointment for my son. She was very dismissive and said the doctor had already refused to see us. She said that they were already getting ready to leave and that we had to reschedule after I drove an hour in a half.
This place is very unprofessional. Took my girlfriend there for her appointment. They had us show up 30 minutes early, just to be called back over an hour after arriving. Once in the physicians room we were notified that the doctor she had an appointment with wasn’t even at the facility and we had to wait for her to come from the hospital. After another hour waiting a different doctor came in with the worst bedside manner. She spent 5 minutes talking to us and didn’t even answer any of the questions we had. She was also incredibly rude and impatient. It’s obvious these doctors do not care about their patients. Don’t go here this place sucks.
Terrible service at the elgin location. I was 5 min early instead of 15 minutes early, and was sent away. Without being seen. Today I had an appointment which went ok. Until I needed to speak the the psychiatrist, that made a mistake with my meds 2 days ago. I just needed her to fix the mistake on the script.2 min of her time. But no I needed a whole new apt. Well Im going on vacation tomorrow. They told me sorry they cant help me. I didnt need a new appointment, just my script fixed...I will go to the sycomore location from now on
Would not recommend this place at all!!! Staff is the worse. You walk in and NO-ONE acknowledges you they hide under there desk. They schedule your appointment tell you to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. I was 10 minutes before. Came in 5 mints late to my 15 minutes before 9 and made me reschedule that the doctor wasn’t able to see me because my appointment was at nine. I’ve waited one hour 29 minutes before at the same clinic just for blood work. The doctors are fine it’s the staff that are horrible and can’t stand them. Point if my appointment was at 8:45 and came in at 8:50 I can understand a reschedule. But this is outrageous.
Staff is rude and unprofessional. I recommend showing up at least 1 hour late as they do not follow appointment times. If you have an 11 am appointment, you WILL be waiting till at least 1pm to be seen. Once you are finally with a “doctor” they rush you out and act as though you are an inconvenience for them.
I love the doctors and the staff, I really do, I live pretty far away from the office and I accidently came 19 minutes late and they said that its their policy and that they cant really do anything to let us in, I would understand if the office was packed but it only had two or three people inside. They couldve easily brought me in or made me wait a few hours but no they refused and said it was there policy.
Had an appt at 2:45 was asked to come in 30 mins before, due to not having transportation for my father I called 2:20 and asked to stop by atleast 10 minutes before for new patient! Struggle to get there at 2:32 as soon as I get there they rejected service for him when he was not even late! I work in medical field and never in my 10 years have I experience the disappointment And the feeling of been rejected! it seem liked Sandra the receptionist was not going to take him in NO MATER WHAT! Because she made the decision of taking walk-ins instead! I understand people have bad days but if you really do not want to work and lazy to do your job PLEASE go home he really needed this appointment!
Im pregnant and called to try to get an appointment as I dont feel well with my allergy , I went 2 weeks before doctor sent me home said all looks well now I have nose bleeds my throat and ears hurt and I dont want it to get worse. Sad thing is if I want to get seen I have to wait for almost a month.
First things first this clinic caters to many people within the area. They have a strict policy of if you dont show up 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment then best believe that they wont take you even if you arrive 2 mins late. This is their policy and its a policy for a reason. The wait time is long why, because they do try to accommodate as many patients as possible. For people that complains the wait time is too long then go to a private practice and I bet you will experience the same wait time. Im giving this clinic 4 stars for being flexible and the provider that Im seeing is a very good attentive doctor. You need to have an open mind when you set up an appointment here. This facility accepts medicaid and Medicare patients. I think its better than going to a private practice where they seclude you because of your insurance. I had my fair share of that. They are open til 7 and most places are not. They are open on Saturdays as well. Its a clean facility and they managed to rehabilitate the clinic.
I like them. Although I wish they were more organized with appointments they schedule and then the other main office says different when you know you made a appointment. And the portal needs to involve more detail information about the test results ( even more Incase someone can’t make it to the appointment they should allow the patient to know everything over the phone from a nurse or the doctor themselves instead of making them wait till they come in when regardless the health issues or situation.I am going crazy waiting to fully understand test results and have to wait when couldn’t make it to the doctor so now have to wait longer till I see her, for one who gone through leep surgery makes me nervous and wondering due to research on each name since going through that yep you bet I’ll do allot of research and try to understand new tests results etc.I I like the office just they need to be more involved and more willing to speak over the phone and or write it clear as day next to the health chart online so there patients ain’t going through allot of wondering what everything means.
I have changed my review because the staff and Nurse Practitioner that I saw after my initial visit were wonderful, courteous and attentive. The inside is clean and they play Disney movies for the children. I give them 4 stars, because the new site deserves it. They answer the phone quickly and courteously. Great improvement! I will never see doctor Govinda, though. That still stands. Thank you GEFC!
I had an appointment for 3:30 for 4 weeks straight. The day before my appointment they change the time and the doctor because my normal doctor wasn’t in. Which I understand, when I got there, I arrived 30 mins early. They usually say 15 but I got there 30 mins early. I sat in the waiting room for AN HOUR before they even called me into a room! When I got into the room I waited ANOTHER hour before I even saw the doctor. I ended up leaving the doctor around 4:45. Which is 2 hours and 15 minutes AFTER my appointment. For only being seen for an average of 20 minutes, waiting 2 hours just to be seen if not worth it. And the staff is VERY rude about everything !! Do not recommend it.
Have been waiting weeks to get my lab results, unfortunately I did have a no show and had rescheduled, appointment was cancelled by provider due to her not being there I believe & I was unable to reschedule because of it. I do understand policies for office considering I work in a medical office myself; however I did not know at a certain point you cannot make any appointments and have to do walk in visits because no one informed me of this. Working full time it is impossible to get into there with the wait times, I can’t get onto the portal, even with the email they said they sent, I have not received anything. Very upset, I understand rules & policy but a patient has rights to their results and I wish you guys could either send them to me or fax without having to be seen by a doctor since I am unable to get into the portal.
I don’t even want to give this place one star. It deserves 0 stars. I found out I was pregnant and they made me an appointment with out telling me what the appointment was for. Got there and the doctor seemed in a rush barely answered my questions. Gave me a Pap smear and said to come back in 3 weeks for an ultrasound. She gave me a packet and left. This was my first pregnancy and I figured I would get more time than 2 minutes of her time. On the 28th I had my ultrasound and the tech wasn’t supposed to give me results and then told me she sees nothing. Again this is my first pregnancy so this is something no one wants to hear. I asked her what does that mean and she stuttered an answer and said a doctor would go over the results. Which no one made for me. The receptionist made me and appointment for an ultrasound but not one with a doctor to go over the results. So I left there crying and called them demanding why no one gave me an appointment with a doctor. They made one for me and the doctor didn’t even have the results he just read me what the tech wrote. Which also I didn’t know my insurance wasn’t going to cover the ultrasound until the day before and that I would need to pay 75 dollars up front. So I saw the doctor and he told me I had a missed miscarriage and made an appointment a few days later. I went there today and was told that he wasn’t there and that I needed to reschedule. No one even tried calling me to let me know the doctor wasn’t there. The women at the front are rude and there are never times that are convenient for people that work. I’ve had a horrible experience there from the beginning. I just want this whole thing to be done so I don’t ever have to deal with this place again.
With the weather being as bad as it has been you would think they would be lenient with appointment times especially since I arrived exactly at our appointment time. However since it wasnt 15 minutes before our appointment they moved my appointment another half an hour and they counted it as a missed appointment on our record. Ive been coming here for over 10 years and the service I received today was obnoxious. I think Ill start looking for a new provider. This is for the office in sycamore.
My baby had an appointment Tuesday at 11:30 Unable to check in at 11:31 New policy, you have to arrive 15 minutes early!! They had given our appointment time away! Insane!! Well, shouldnt my appointment time have been 11:15??? Also, no one mentioned that when they called to confirm the appointment. So we took the next available appointment for 3:45. I was upset that we were unable to see her pediatrician Dr. Baum (hes the bomb) Told the Dr we did see I suspected my baby had an ear infection. She said no. Then Saturday BOOM! Lots of fluid draining from her ear. I cant take this place anymore!! & my kids have been coming here since forever.
I had both Covid vaccinations here. The waiting room is NOT set up for safe social distancing and NO wipes, gel or sanitizing was available. The seats are all fabric armchairs that are not able to be sanitized and arm rests are shared. People wore masks most of the time and stayed apart although no guidance was evident anywhere. Worst was I heard a guy say he had tested +ve for Covid 2 days previously. He had touched the counter and plastic screen and kept messing with his mask. He got to wait in the waiting room with us. And no wipedown was done on the area he had contaminated.Given this is a health center I was appalled at their lack of any Covid preventive care.
Made the appointment for 9 am. Got a call at 840am saying that the doctor is not in today. Got them to reschedule for same day at 2:30. Arrived at the clinic at 2:14. Took till 3:30 till they finished my registration. By the time they were done they told me the doctor left because it took so long. And to come in tomorrow. Lol this place is a joke.
I grew up with doctors offices having done wait time. So i have no problem waiting maybe 20 minutes for an appointment as they are very busy. As this place takes Medicaid for children it doesnt surprise me with the wait. I know we have a whole generation that expects instant gratification. If you dont want to wait get better insurance. As it is its what i expect and my grand daughter is treated well.
I had a lovely experience at the Greater Elgin Family Care Center today. I came as a walk-in and was lucky to only wait about 30 minutes. Also, all of the people who helped me, the receptionists, the nurse, and the doctor, were very kind and professional. I will be returning for future appointments. Thank you!
I am consistently having to reschedule my appointments because the providers are always leaving. When they are there I end up waiting for hours to see them. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I only stayed because I didnt want to switch in the middle of my pregnancy.
Called them to make an appointment. 3 weeks later when we came to our visit we were sat down and told that our appointment was made for another type of doctor than what we requested. When we asked what can be done they said the next appointment is 3 weeks from now. They even said themselves that this isnt the first time and they apologize. Someone doesnt know what theyre doing...
Wont let me do a negative 5 Star like I want! Originally went in because I was feeling tired and gaining weight...doc of course said lets get all your labs done and your BP is high. Did all the blood work (money grab) and came back for the follow up. My appointment was at 2:15, they ask you get there 15 minutes prior, I was there at 1:55. I sat and waited to get called in until 2:30 and didnt see a doctor until 2:50 for all of 30 seconds. Labs all look good, BP is under control, explained I was on a new medicine, Okay great! Didnt even ask what the new one was, really...come back in a year. I think NOT! Once I get home and I look at their Patient Plan and it says that we discussed Dietary Counseling and encouragement to exercise. Really?? In the 30 seconds you talked to me? Waste of my time and I will be calling the Insurance Company to check on what their bill to them entails and make sure that they are NOT PAID for more than 30 seconds. Place is a SCAM!
Very poor service. They way over book their appointments. I have a baby 48 hrs old and they only let 1 parent back and made us wait an hour. Covid-19 is still out there and their waiting room was packed with people. That is not right. I’ll be going to a new place for care.
Ive had nothing but issues here and Ive seen every doctor hoping it would change. Dr. Gladdin is just terrible and rude. He doesnt make eye contact or barely acknowledge you. He messed up my order forms for blood draws on more than one occasion and then they claimed to have never gotten the results back. The bathrooms are filthy disgusting and the lobby isnt much better. My last appointment I waited over an hour and was told my apt wasnt until 10:30 even though I had a voicemail and reminder card saying it was at 9:30. Totally disorganized and they dont seem to care. Terrible terrible terrible. Id never recommend these doctors to anyone.
I came in and saw the Nurse Practitioner Dorothy Tessman. She has failed to send in my medication prescriptions to my pharmacy and I am now experiencing withdrawal symptoms and difficulty living my day to day life. Their phone numbers don’t work and I can’t get in touch with anyone. I went in to the doctors office yesterday and they said they would give her a message that its urgent. I have yet to hear from her. Very unprofessional and this situation could have been avoided if Ms. Tessman had not failed to do her job properly.
They scheduled me for a pregnancy appt when i am not even pregnant and only needed to see a gyne. This was after they messed up my first appt. Try to be very clear with the staff and always clarify what they are actually scheduling you for. I wasted 2 days off for these fools.I would rate them a zero if possible.Avoid if possible!
Got caught in traffic and showed up at the appointment time and went to sign in and was told the the appointment is lost and the doctor is no longer here. Dont get how that happened and there was zero empathy for that. Best part only two people ahead on the walk in and list and got told there was no guarantee that there would be appointment yet the center was going to be open for 5 more hours. Office staff is awful with attitude and seem like they hate their jobs.
Someone would probably think this place is accessible for people in wheelchairs because they have a ramp outside leading up to the building they have accessible doors and an elevator leading downstairs. The ramp is steep they never turn their automatic doors on (for accessibility) coming into the building and the tables for the gynecologist is too high they only have one that comes down. I tried to go there for prenatal care as a pregnant paraplegic woman in a wheelchair. I did everything I was suppose to do and asked all the right questions but when I arrived the doctor they said was best for me didnt have knowledge for working with someone like me. He gave me unethical information about my pregnancy and although the lab downstairs, it takes a week for not only test results but also an urinalysis, which is not good when youre working with a high risk patient thats pregnant in my condition. Depending on how long someone probably had an UTI anything can happen thats why we rely on specialists. Im starting to think the best care is in the city.
Very rude staff that works at the receptionist/welcome desks. Their attitude and the way that they treat people, you would think that these lazy women are actually doing the work. I’ve just experienced dental services here but I can say that the dentist is kind and great at what she does and the dental assistants are amazing but it’s just that they need to fire the women who sets the appointments.
Was there a few min early for my appointment, they were helping someone already and it took several minutes. By the time I was able to check in, it was 3 min past my appointment and they told me I was late and that they didn’t have any opening for another month.... I drive an hour for that ultrasound and they didn’t care.

Today 1/6/18. I arrived to my son’s appointment at exactly 1:45pm, when it was scheduled, At the seneca location, only to be told that he couldn’t be seen because “New Policy” now says have to be early 15 min before your appointment. This is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of. The receptionist was rude and said next app available was same day at 3:15pm. I agreed but i wasnt going to wait there for an 1 hr and 15 min. So i left and suddenly 20 min later i get a phone call stating they are calling our name and where was I?? I told her seriously? The girl at the front desk said nothing available until 3:15. Never once did she mention i should stay and wait. She said well we can see people sooner. What the hell?? Why wasnt i offered that? So she asked if I was coming back for the 3:15 and i said yes and she said “I’ll let the provider know.” I go back at 3pm waited 15 min to be called and nothing only to be told that I didn’t check in so cant be seen once again. Mind you this girl saw us come in again. She sat there at saw me more than 3 times. She knew clearly who i was because i was already aggravated that she rescheduled me. I understand the whole being late policy. But i cant understand why refuse us for being on time? Im very angry and disappointed because I truly was very content with each doctor there but because of this one completely uncaring receptionist i will never return! If i need to be more detailed it was the girl who spilled a red drink all over the counter at check in while i was standing in front of her rescheduling my 3:15pm. She’s short petite with glasses.I will never recommend anyone here. She needs to be trained better. I never had an issue before with any other receptionist until today and this girl completely ruined it for me. Her lack of customer service is horrific. I don’t feel we were treated fairly being that i was notified today of the “New Policy Rule”. Such a complete waste of a Saturday. Both times we arrived on time for an appointment and refused to be seen because we needed to be there 15 min before. That receptionist needs to be trained properly when explaining new policy rules. No i dont need to discuss this with anyone else. I’d much rather switch PCP and not deal with her stupidity ever again. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!
I am not fond of this place but, I guess when you have state medical aid you dont have a lot of choices. when asking for a referral you have to wait weeks and then if your appointment is at 6 pm you gave to be there at 545 pm but if you get there at 550 pm you are late now you have wait or come back as a walk in Really. I had my annual that found some abnormalities and requested to another Dr. really, They have told to go in for Xrays and other test but never called me back to give me the results they have put me on a ton of meds that I do not take because I have been asked why are you on this you dont need. I have reported so of these complaint to health insurance but who knows what will happen.
The girls in the front are so rude and not friendly at all. They complaint at the people that ar not on time for their appointment and won’t see them and yet for the people that are an hour to half an hour early they don’t manage to see them on time. And they still have the nerve to say that you are early hey won’t see you u till your time of appointment and they still won’t see you on time. This place needs to get their schedule figure out and obey by their own rules. They can’t expect to have people come in at their appointment time if they cannot even see them at the time they are scheduled for. Also they need to work on the receptionist customer service! Horrible experience never coming back again.
Waited for 45 mins for this doctor named Kate to talk to me for 5 mins. She wouldnt take a look at my other 2 problems before she rudely told me I had to schedule again for other problems. I paid 50$ for this trash service. She expects me to pay 150$ and come 3 times for 3 problems. What a joke. Find another provider.
This place is AWFUL. The front desk is god awful! I’ve came to the office 3 days in a row for something as simple as lab work. I was told 3 different things just to drop off lab samples and I’ve had to restart all of it multiple times. Keep in mind I’ve driven to this place 4 times already to be told one thing after another by the terrible front desk. Do not go to this place. Terrible at being organized
My husband has been coming here for about 2 years Dr. Govinda has really helped him with his Diabetes and high blood pressure. The girls are nice in 2 years noone here has ever been rude or insensitive..i think people treat you the way you treat them ...The new place is clean and has plenty of seats. And they play disney moviesin their Tvs.The waiting has not been more than 30min and i feel thats the same you would wait at any other office ...Want to also say that the girls in the lab where also very nice..
In disagreement also with the gentleman it says people came here without an appointment would give it a bad review I have had appointments here a thousand times and I still have this place to bed review . However The Dental Clinic is greatest and I would highly recommend that to anyone Chris Maggio and staff on their game. This place is repulsively, overtly disgusting, from there call center inadequacies of comprehension with scheduling, customer service is horrifyingly poor, the attitude of there employees need a complete overhaul of revamping at the 135 East Irving Park Road Office in Streamwood, IL. There truly pathetic miserable people, that arent customer friendly, each and everyone of these trolls either hate there job, dont like being there, something. In my 52 years of life, Ive never seen such Low Class, aptitude in a medical center filled with overwhelming despair of anger from employees who are representatives of this facility wether on the phone or in person whenever going into this particular location these people seem to always have a chip on there shoulder towards the patients that frequent this facility. How when looking at a patient chart you see the location a patient frequents but you schedule a patient that have life threatening illnesses that dont drive at a facility theyve never been too, Id hope we all have some form of basic common sense of intellect, in this case Greater Elgin Family Care Center doesnt have employees that comprehends basic observation, of good ole comon sense, then your patient gets robbed and strangled while going to be seen at the emergency room at St. Alexis, low an behold, I was admitted. Missed a Dr. Appointment, I guess St. Alexis found being robbed and strangled with the life threatening medical conditions I had was much more important, and treating me than going to a Dr. Appointment, like its said cant be in (2) places at (1) time, well test results,I had been waiting for for several months, no one bothered to call give results, nothing, not even put the results in my chart so I could see them online. I literally had to place a call to say why arent my results there in my chart online to view, again common sense defeats the purpose of patients being able to view there results, Dr. Notes etc. To add insult to injury after getting out of the hospital I was told to follow up with my provider, did that, I let him know what was going on. Yet when I call in to make an appointment, Im being ridiculed for an employee scheduling error, than other employees error for not taking me off the list for no show/ while being hospitalized. Then I ask these are supposed people in the medical field that are taking oaths I thought in being a part of preserving health, wellness and life. Well in the experience Ive had, Ive never found it to be stressful going into a Health center so utterly stressful, not knowing how your going to be treated from a customer service, or maintaining my Health aspect. If being in a community specifically catering to low income, which is predominantly the majority of the patient that attend Greater Elgin Family Care Center, Id suggest you do a better job at adhering to the type of people your hiring in your facility, send them to diversity training, as well as customer service training where they learn professional etiquette in learning to deal with all people not just the Mexican Community that is the percentage of your patients, also when you have facilities that doesnt have a diverse workplace its a Big Red Flag, as to the mentality of the people who own and run Greater Elgin Family Care Center, and its truly nothing to be proud of, but truly shameful, which explains your employees ignorant behavior and attitudes.Rhonda Bianchi

Very inefficient buracracy for getting referrals to specialists.One Dr took me asside after ultrasound and told me I might have cancer and baby might die, and I should schedule follow up in two weeks and referral to a specialist. After 2 weeks and several calls no referrals have been sent.Long wait times on every visit.Try to pressure you to get medicade even if you chose to be uninsured/self pay Christian healthshare.Some staff are not very intelligent in understanding your issues or taking your issues seriously.
I recently had an office visit with Dr Bhowmick at this facility and was extremely disgusted at the lack of compassion and the lack of professional basic skills. First off, a recent issue I had originally made this appointment for to be addressed , was ignored and I was being asked questions about past injuries which had already been taken care of and were no longer relevant. Finally, she became concerned with my PRESENT condition ( a very painful rotater cuff injury) which is waiting for an MRI and therapy, and was refused a refill of a pain med since she didnt care for this particular med (Tramadol). She instead gave me a refill for Ibuprofen 800 which insurance wouldnt pay for until 2 weeks later. I explained being recently unemployed and destitute and I couldnt pay for. She didnt care at all and I naturally was quite angry at her lack of compassion and argued my point to no avail that I would be without ANY medication. While waiting for my paperwork, I heard this Doctor laughing outside the door, apparently amused and aloof of any real concern or responsibility for my pain. Im now seeking legal advice and wrote this review to warn future patients of this creeps attitude and lack of professionalism, that they might want to schedule a different Dr. The facility is fine - the doctor is an Quack. I hope I might save someone some unneeded frustration and hopefully they could choose a more humane and professional physician.
There are many who gave bad reviews of this place, but the common denominator seems to be the unforgiving attitude of the patients. In a busy place, many complications can happen at once.I have only had good experiences there and if you think being late once or twice or three times and still expect it to be acceptable, then maybe you perhaps need a complimentary adult pacifier. They are busy and so are we, but looking at the bigger picture, if you do your thing, let them do theirs! The staff does not hide and certainly should not have to feel like smiling if you are being inappropriate. If I had to wait because of something unforseen, make a new plan where everyone is not pissed off no matter whos At fault. They will take emergencies even if theyre dealing with one already.thank you GEFCC!
HORRIBLE DENTAL RECEPTION!! I spoke to a women who said she will speak with him.But DAM, dont be rushing clients to sign in to give the paper back, when not even done signing, he was rushing me, to go sit down telling me my insurance isnt active, when im telling him insurance is active, like there wasnt no one behind me,. Which he didnt proper check, until i had to call the clinic downstairs and they confirm insuranceis is active.I didnt keep my mouth shut i told him to clam down, your not going anywhere. Horrible attitude, thats why Greater Family Health has horrible review.Giving me a big deal when i asked him if I can get a copy of a papers stating, patient needs to be signed in 5 MINUTES BEFORE APPOINTMENT, NOT 15 MINUTES. Which in the bottom says copy to patient.THEY HIRE RECEPTION THAT DONT HAVE PATIENTS for people. DO BETTER GREATER FAMILY HEALTH
The place is ok but the girls at the desk have no clue why appointments are made. I took my parents on time for their appointment and checked in at the desk. I kept waiting for half an hour but never been called. Upon asking, the receptionist tells me that they didnt take their files out and skipped on to other next patients. This is very ignorant and ridiculously shame on running the system like this.
I like this place. The girls are hot on the phones. I think thats why they call me sooner than the other troll looking people sitting in the lobby. I respect that. Cant wait to go back. All the complainers about waiting a few minutes and saying the staff is rude are just jealous. The staff treat me like royalty.
Please dont go to this place for medical help they dont care. Ive called five times in 5 days for prescription refill with no reply from them at all. I am literally more sick now because of them. They dont care about helping people they only care about how many people they can get in and out of the door.
Horrible place to get taken care off, they make you wait for hours. I was pregnant and got there on time and took almost 2 hours to get seen and still never got to talk to the doctor... Then my son was born and the staff doesnt know how to schedule appointments they are always wrong the doctor didnt come in sorry we forgot to call you...horrible service thank god i got to move i had to stay there for my son because the lady that signed my son up spelled his name wrong and said it was MY FAULT when it wasnt and shes really rude. Thank god his name is spelled right now because he has the best doctor to see and great staff takes care of us.
I, like many addicts, am embarrassed and it’s tough to reach out for help. I tried starting back in May of 2019, and would just get the run around. No one seemed to really care. Unless I had good insurance and money to spend. Luckily I didn’t give up and was referred to this location by the Renz Group in Elgin. I am so happy to have found these groups. I especially want to thank Claire Brown, for how kind, understanding, and helpful she was. If you have a problem and you want help, please call them. It’s never too late to start getting help and starting to live a clean life. Claire, thank you again. I can’t say it enough!
Horrible horrible horrible place to go I just got assigned this place for my primary care provider I made an appointment and it got cancelled 2 times because the provider wasn’t there! So I call and try to make an appointment today and they say I’m in walk in status this is crazy!!!! They said if I go there’s no guarantee that I will be seen, I am a diabetic and I have high blood pressure I’m out of my meds and these people want me to wait and possibly won’t be seen this is the worst service ever and it’s time to go back to vna I never have these problems out of them!!!
If you love to be lectured by obese physicians about your smoking addiction and get denied basic antibiotics this is the place to go!! I saw more people sitting in the back talking to each other than I saw actually working. I wish I would have read all of these horrible reviews before I took the night off at work for a waste of time.
Terrible service. They never call you back, doctors are so unprofessional, they take HOURS to pick up a call. Every time I go theres people giggling and laughing back in the lunch room like there isnt 20 people in the waiting room waiting to be attended. Not to mention they always call you in 20-30 min after your designated appointment time. Wouldnt recommend this to anyone.
Front desk staff very rude .Had so many problems with this office. Needed help for my Dad. When asked for manager‘s name I was told she is gone for the day. When leaving messages staff will never return your calls. I like Dr Khaleeluddin and he is the only reason we were going there.
Im a very patience individual. But today wasnt so great. Not very happy for the long wait. Ive seen people go in before me even though they came after me. Told me to be in 15 minutes early. I live an hour away. My appointment was at 1030. I arrived at 10:05 to check in. And I havent been called in until 11.
This is the most ridiculous place.. don’t ever go here. Many times my wife and kids have to wait for 30 min and over and today they got 1 minute late. ONLY ONE MINUTE. And they say the can not see us because we were late. Today my wife and two kids are sickIts very cold and I cant believe for one minute they did that. I will complaint with the department of health and bbb and will make sure they take away their license. They DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS.
You never get seen on time. You wait in the waiting room and see other people go before you that just got here. The staff and Drs need to move a little quicker to get people in and out in a timely manner. The hospital moves quicker than this when they are really busy.
Scheduled an 11:15 during my lunch break rushed to get there because my baby has been breaking out badly. Arrived in line at 11:12 they say Im supposed to be there at 1:10. There is no way I can deal with this place any longer. Is there any better place in Kane County for children?And you could save the universal response because you are not sorry.
The people that set up the appointments do not tell you where to go. The last time I was in I was in the basement across the street. I asked on the phone if it was the same place she said yes. Now I have to wait for a spot because the person that set up the appointment couldnt tell me. I will be finding a new dr for my children this is horrible service!!!
Took my child because he was super sick and i ran into a problem getting there and got there 3 minutes late and they didnt took me in saying they changed there new policy. Now i understand IF they had warn me about it ...but no they never told me of there policy change.. and the receptiones had an attitude i loved my child doctor so sad i have to change him to a new clinic 😢
Horrendous. Ive been coming here for months and it hasnt changed. Every visit its another excuse so Ive been hanging on hoping itll change. It hasnt and Im thinking it will not. Prescriptions are constantly sent to the wrong pharmacist, and the wait for each visit totals over 2 hours (minimum each time.) The staff and doctors are not the issue though, theyve been friendly and apologetic each time. Theyre incompetence outweighs these qualities though.
This place is a waste of time. I never see my doctor and when I go in they rush me out never having actually touched me or checked me out. They say if I need help with my pain just go to the er. If you are unfortunate enough to have your doctor at any of the greater Elgin locations change them as soon as a you can. What a joke.
Today we had an appointment but there was just 1 person taking in registration and we where there at the time they said the 15 min and they did not take care of us so my husband just walked out it’s not feared at all I hope it don’t count as no show at all cuz we wear there 😡
They will make you wait almost an hour just to tell you your results for a TB test all because the staff is coming in from lunch I understand they are coming in from lunch but does it take almost for someone to check me out and the killer part I left because I had other appointments to keep so yes whenever I get the chance I’m going find another doctor office to go to

Such a terrible place I went for my antenatal and even took my son there for 2 years now hoping they will change but no.My son was sick but not that emergency and we walk in so as other Hispanics I sat for 3 hours and whose Hispanics that walk in also are done in less than 30 minutes.i ask and that so called Carlos God he is so races and I cant stand him.Am a medical assistant too so what he does is not professional.But favoritism to people of his kind.No communication they treat you like its free and you dont pay your services 😠😠😠😠😠😠
Would not recommend this place for the doctors office or dental office. They are never on time and expect you to be...the staff is rude and not helpful in trying to solve issues at hand. The only nice experience about this place is dealing with the doctors themselves. Will not be back!!
Very racist i been in the lobby for 2 1/2 hours my appointment was at 11 only mexicAns were being seen even ones with walk in before me kids crying so the lazy receptionist turns the tv louder over the kids playing I should not kno that the whole staff has iPhones and the 15min early concept does not work wat about people with no transportation very bad and needs too be shut down
Horrible customer sevice, they make wait for long time, but if you get late to your appointment they wontsee you even if is a minute late, they didnt accept my mother because she was a minute later than they told her, her appointment was at 9:30 and they told her to be there at 9:15 she got there at 9:16 and they sent her back because she got late unbelievable SMDH.
It was a very good experience, very professional and efficient from all the staff, especially for those of us who do not have medical insurance, we must do everything possible so that these places continue to provide quality service to the community. Thank you greater family health
I never thought to make this type of comment but it is so ridiculous that they arrive 15 minutes early before your appointment. then wait more minutes in the waiting room from 25 min to 35 min more or less they pass you to the rooms and they have you waiting until the doctor arrives ridiculously it is a wait of an hour and minutes
When I made the appointment, a guy answered me and it even seemed that he was asking something of him despotic, and rude when answering. With those kinds of people giving patient care, that place will be left alone. This never happens to me but I give 0 stars to the Dental staff attending the client. Look for charismatic, intelligent people, not moody and rude. 😠
This place is terrible very bad the resection service if you arrive late do not attend if you arrive early they leave you waiting an hour and a half late I do not understand the policies of this place or the bad service they have here I am very upset and never recommend it to anyone Supervisor must do her job better so that it is better and supervise more as your resection on my part to all my buyers I will never recommend them
If you have an appointment, prepare to spend half a day at the clinic. You arrive and give your name, you wait 30 to 50 minutes for the receptionist to call you and verify your information ... then you wait another 30 to 50 minutes. So that they call you and put you in the little room where you will wait 1 to 2 hours for the doctor to come in to give you a consultation .... WHAT UNCONSCIOUS. PESIMO SERCICIO.
I hope that we all join together 👭👬 and collect signatures so that our complaints and suggestions are taken into account because they do receive their salary no matter how they treat or treat people! My appointment was at 8:00 and I arrived at 8:00 oclock they said they had to register me 15 minutes before !! and that I would wait for someone to cancel and other times I arrive before my appointment and I wait more than an hour and a half to be attended. A very rude way of assisting that these people do not benefit because the clinic is low-income that they have better treatment with us!
I went yesterday with a strong urine infection to be prescribed an antibiotic and I left there without a prescription ... they told me that I had to wait for them to call me for the results, and I called them today to find out if the results were already there because of my problem is still there, his answer was that I would go back to the clinic to wait if someone canceled so that the doctor would see me again because the results of the laboratory were going to take days that they did not know if two or three or more days 😡. apart from that they charged me $ 320 for nothing they still wanted me to go today to pay another $ 320 .... lousy service I dont recommend it

2022-05-11Care here is very hit or miss. If you don’t suffer from any chronic illness and don’t need any specialized care, you’ll be okay.Otherwise it’s tough getting an appointment quickly, providers are limited. One provider withdrew me from medication abruptly without considering any weaning off or potential withdrawal symptoms. I was ill for over a week and had to miss work. This could’ve been very easily avoided. Another provider I recall was very kind and helpful to me when I had a procedure done, but I believe that provider is no longer around.They seem to be improving, recently got a letter in the mail about labs pending, which is a great sign for follow up and thorough care. They also have a survey at checkout that I’d never seen before.There’s room for improvement. I hope GEFCC can improve and care for the community the way it deserves.

2022-07-07Terrible Office for OB and pediatrician . The staff in office or call center are VERY rude and inconsiderate . OB clinic almost turned me down 3 days postpartum after having a C-section I basically argued to been seen for my appointment which they tried rescheduling me . They canceled my son appointment like 3 times the day of the appointments and my sons only 6 months so which means he’s only been seen at the clinic about 4 times . I constantly told them I only wanted to see one doctor which was Dr Davis they constantly gave me a different doctor every single time . I do not recommend this Clinic to anyone. Please do not waste your time . Oh let’s not forget the time you have to wait to be seen . But they want you to be in the office 15 minutes prior. Then you’ll be seen within 30 minutes or close to an hour later this office is a joke . My son new doctors office tried calling them today to verify which vaccine they gave my son because it wasn’t clear on which one he received on his vaccine records and they gave this new office a hard time and still left without an answer.

2022-04-28Terrible facility. My wife has been waiting two weeks to have a biopsy on potential cancerous cysts. They called her and told her the could not do the procedure because THEY scheduled it during lunch hour. They now moved her appointment to two weeks later. And scheduled it for 12:30 instead of 11:30. Thanks for leaving my wife scared for another few weeks. Enjoy your lunch

2022-04-01So me and my wife just went here our appointment was at 1:15 we got there at 1:18 and the boy at the counter said we had to reschedule because we were 3 min late mins you they had cancelled our appointment the week before & gave us this appointment. The “ manager “ was very rude and I asked is there anyway we can speak to the doctor at least to let them know you guys won’t let us see her they didn’t move an inch ! didn’t make an attempt to go ask or anything they sat there with attitudes saying “ nope “ I’m disgusted with these people I have a health concern with our baby and they refused to see us. The service they so called provided me was complete TRASH.

2022-05-17All of the providers keep leaving because it’s a bad environment to work in. As a patient here I’ve seen several providers that were good but Dr. Nabanita BHOWMICK is one of the worst doctors to see, I repeat this woman does not have any compassion when it comes to caring for a patient, do not see this doctor!!! I repeat do not see this doctor!!!! There are many other qualified and more competent physicians and providers to choose from. If you are black unfortunately, there are no providers to choose from therefore you have to be your own patient advocate. In conclusion, choose wisely when receiving care from this place.

2022-08-18Ive had my appt canceled/rescheduled multiple times now on the day of. Today I had a 6:45 appt to which I checked in at 6:10 only to be told at 6:50 I would not be seen ! I was told I was only scheduled for a 15 minute time slot and my nexplannon removal needed to be scheduled for 30 minutes minimal but because the next 2 patients were already checked in, IT WOULD INCONVENIENCE THOSE PATIENTS TO WAIT HALF AN HOUR ! I asked why I wasnt told sooner or at the time of check in so nobodys time would be wasted? All I got was the best we can do is reschedule and soonest available is MID SEPTEMBER when Ive been trying to get it removed since JUNE !! They are very inconsiderate of their patients time and truly believe that were on their time. I had to lose out on my appointment to accommodate the next patients but Im not given the same courtesy. What a joke.

2022-07-06Very disappointed. My appointment was at 10:40am got there at 10:33am was waiting on line for 8min the lady told me I was late. For my first appointment a month ago I got there 1hr early they made wait for an 1hr so I dont get.

2021-12-30I went there for a booster shot today. I arrived 5 minutes late because of a tight schedule and was told I had to reschedule. The waiting area, which looked like it held 50 or more people, was mostly empty (Maybe 10 people). When I objected, I was told there was nothing they could do. The receptionist didnt even check to see if they could fit me in. Given there is a super contagious variant going around, I would think the receptionist would at least ask some one if they could get me in. I was able to speak to an administrator on the phone about a half an hour later. She did nothing but make excuses for the lack of effort. If I get sic maybe Ill have a lawsuit. Never going here again. No wander they have such a low rating. Thank God I only went there for the vaccine shot and nothing else.

2022-01-14This was the worst medical experience I have ever had. DO NOT GO HERE!!! The front desk personnel I dealt with except 1 was unprofessional and I was lied to. My time was completely wasted. Then the PA Melissa I was placed with had zero bed side manner, disregarded her ability to protect my health and instead made my visit about her own opinion. I don’t believe she should have a medical license as she is not here to serve and protect. The first course we all learned in medical school is to do no harm, perhaps she missed that lesson. On top of all the other nonsense I dealt with, she also blatantly asked me if I identify as a male or a female. This is an unnecessary question and I found it insulting. I’m clearly a female as all my medical papers state and I look like a female. If only she was “woke” to what matters, she might had been doing her job that day. I should have asked her if she identifies as a PA or just someone having a power trip… I can’t tell- just trying to know how she feels on the inside? Zero stars if I could.
