This place does not deserve 1 star. To start with I stopped in there early one morning to get stuff to leave and find a straw wrapper in my food some of the food missing and drinks were half full and then I stopped back a few hours later and they mess up all three orders again where I was going to just let it go because I drove back to Chicago and I talk to my sister who used to work there and asked her and she explain to me how things were so then the next morning I called and let them know how it was where they said they were going to make it right with me and send complementary gift cards or three weeks later I get a letter in the mail that is just a letter nothing else so I called and asked if it was a joke that there wasn’t anything else in the envelope and they said no that there should have been gift cards in there too and that they would send them out right away and here it is almost 2 months later and still nothing. This place is a joke, they don’t care about the customers and apparently need to rip them off to make money. This place does not deserve a star, in fact they just need to be shut down. I would expect this from Chicago where I live but not a small town where I grew up. The owners should be ashamed of how they run this place.
We bought a couple cinnamon rolls, and they were delicious. With their to-go window so popular even before covid, I think they would want to keep the drive, ledge along the building, and especially the 1st & 2nd window area clean because thats where we receive our food. The staff at the windows are not friendly.
Whats to say? Ive been eating McDs cheeseburgers since 1960 and I think they still taste the same, which is just how I like it. I especially appreciate their $1 soft drinks.

I went through the drive through ordered a number 6 which is the 10 piece chicken nuggets meal. It took my husband three times to order until the worker got it right. Then it still wasnt right instead of charging me for a number 6 the worker charged me for the nuggets and drink and fries all separately I paid like $10 for all three items. Will never go back there again. I was so frustrated when I left never again at that mcdonalds!
Great, friendly restaurant. Food tastes excellent, reasonable prices, a favorite hangout for my family. Fast, clean, and amazing. Do special order sandwiches regularly, comes out hot and right. Fries are awesome! I think the store has improved greatly to a 5 star, and I would choose it for regular dining. Gotta be one of the best McDonalds in the entire area! Great job, guys!
Since new ownership last fall, the wait in line for the simplest meal is extreme. Three times in the last 3 weeks Ive ordered a hamburger and small fry and it took 5 or more minutes to get. None were during a rush of customers either. Hopefully they get things figured out soon.
Good luck on them getting your order right. The general manager ignores emails and letters to the owners go unanswered. Most recent order had five things wrong. So done until they clean up their act.

And I had the choice I would have been checked the one star thats left. I wasnt thrilled with McDonalds in Aledo Illinois. When the cashier gave me my cup for a drink she stuck her fingers in the top without any culinary gloves on. I proceeded to inform her that had I been from the health department they would have been in trouble for doing that. And from the look and her attitude it was like oh well its no big deal and youre just being a pain in the neck. I generally dont express a lot of dissatisfaction but in this case I had been left no other options. And after eating on my way out there was a gentleman coming he had had his hands full and he was all bent out of shape and I could understand why because it took him almost to the end of time to get his order. Thats no wonder people quit going to do business there. Makes me wonder what theyre doing in the back preparing food Etc I dont even want to go there its too scary. Im going to inform the franchise holder of the situation and if he gives me an old well big deal then I will notify the health department. Service was good at drive thru but the crispy chicken sandwich is a very poor sandwich,has no flavor and no condiments,all you taste is the oil it is fried in .why would you put pickles on chicken that one needs to come off the menu and reworked
Stopped through the drive through. Ordered a large fries no salt. Came in a large fry box that was less than half full of bits and pieces of fries. Someone was being lazy and didnt clear the fry holder in order to correctly portion out the fry with no salt. Called the manager only took my name claiming when i come back ill be able to obtain a free large fry...never has any fast food chain only taken my name to correct an order mishap. Bu far this location is slacking in customer service and menu portions. Have contacted corporate about this issue as its not the first time in several visits Ive had issues with the service and food portions.
The Aledo, IL McDonalds was so packed during the Rhubarb festival opening day. For the most part the crew was doing decent job keeping up with orders for the drive thru. But the walk in dinning room were having their food brought out in parts because the tickets werent being read correctly. We didnt see anyone out cleaning tables so it was a good thing it was generally only older adults eating inside, because they cleaned up after themselves. And the drink station had no large lids when we ordered our drinks. Had only small lids. Otherwise, the manager that helped us get the correct food items was very helpful and she was really busting her butt to keep things together.
The service is good. The food is good except this McDonalds and other ones always smother their burgers with way too much ketchup and mustard.
I’ve come here 10 times in the past 3 months. I’ve kept track of how many orders they got completely wrong. 4 orders. They have gotten 4 orders wrong out of 10 times. And it’s not just forgetting the pickles. It’s me ordering a cheeseburger, and getting a filet o fish, which they then proceed to charge me for. But hey, you might get what you ordered 60% of the time
Workers family come in and everything come to a stop while they discuss going to Kentucky. But hey the sweet tea was good.
15+ min wait in line tonight then given McChickens that we cold and hard as rocks. They cant get an order right to save a life and dont even think about getting a napkin in ur bag..not happening!
Went thru the drive thru, got home, found we did not receive all our food. Call to resolve the problem and was hung up on by the stores General Manager Jenny McNab. I found this out when I called back. I would expect this RUDE behavior from a teenager but not someone in management. I will be calling store owner and completing the survey as well. Some people are not cut out for the service industry, how was this women promoted with her attitude?
Order either comes out wrong or takes too long to finish the order. Sometimes very slow. Ive spent several times almost 20 minutes for my orders. By the time I realize the order is messed up, Im already down the road and not worth returning.
Its McDonalds so pretty much the standard fast food fare. However the Aledo location is better than most. They are accurate most of the time and the staff is courteous and friendly. I eat there a lot since I work close by .
They are really good but they always seem to mess up atleast on thing on my order. The food is normally good. The people are very nice and sweet.
Three and a half. One of the local favorites. The chicken sandwich was amazing. The place needs a play place but it has a lot of local pride and does a lot for the community and schools. Aledo has country charm and that is reflected by the McDonalds.
Totally missed up our order. We ordered fries no salt, they had salt on them. Ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and onions only, came with everything
On Friday night should not be close before 11pm I stopped by and they refused to severe the food and lock the door immediately at 10:45pm on Friday. Internet should be change hr for realistic. To sad it is only place in smal town.
When we got here we waited for someone to take our order for about 10 minutes. Then the lady messed up our order. We ordered bacon and it came out cold. The manager said it sits at room temp and it was our fault. Worst McDonalds ever

Its a typical run of the mill McDonalds only downside is the charge for BBQ sauce even if you order McNuggets. Clean place but a couple of the cashiers are rude.
The food at this place is ok, taste wise it can be hit or miss. Ive brought whole groups of friends here and it has made the whole group sick several times.
They aren’t wearing masks properly at all! there is a reason behind wearing the mask so put it over your mouth AND nose, not your damn chin.

2022-04-15The last 5 times Ive been there in a 3 month period I have at least 1 thing wrong with my order. I understand that sometimes people make mistakes but when its repeatedly happening every time I come in, I find that to be ridiculous. This is not the place to go if youre in a hurry or want what you order because it wont be fast and if it was fast you had best check it cause its most likely wrong.

2022-03-14I went through the drive and waited almost 10 min for nobody to ask for my oder, so I proceeded to the 1st window where I waited another 8 min and still nobody. Finally I called and said I had been waiting along time and the woman on the phone was really rude and informed me they were rebooting the system so everything was down. Very understandable but didnt have to be rude and couldve put a note up informing people instead of ignoring then!

2022-05-11Over the past year alone, the service has really gone down hill. The drive thu gets all of the attention and they only get the orders correct more times than not, at best. We just waited for 20 mins for 3 ice cream cones and then when our meal order was handed to us the fry cartons were only half full and cold. Over all, it was a pretty frusterating experiance. I do believe that the person to person attention has been lost since they intalled the kiosks. It gets 2 stars because it was very clean.

2021-02-15Worse McDonalds Ive ever been to. Not making this off just 1 visit. 2 times in a row over the last week they forget to put tarter sauce on a fish sandwich. 98% of the time you have to pull forward for atleast 5 minutes no matter what you order there is also many times the area to pull forward in is full so you have to drive around and wait in a parking spot. Its 50/50 if you order a sweet tea if you will actually get a sweet tea or regular tea. Fries are always cold and soggy. And they think they deserve $15 an hour. They clearly think they can provide the worse customer servicepossible since its the only fast food in town. Its also about 50/50 if they wont screw up your order or forget something. If you make a complaint they say they will mail you a card for a free meal that they screwed up most the time its a card for a free fry. They screwed up 3 of my 4 meals once on a order When I made the complaint they said they would send 3 cards for a value meals. They mailed 1 card for 1 free sandwich which once I tried using it they said it didnt cover the deluxe quarter ponder that I ordered and they messed up. Gas station food is becoming the better option. Order a 10 piece nuggets you might get 8 or 9 or you might get 12 or 13 so I guess that atleast balances out.
