Tina and Maria are phenomenal!After Tina left and I realized how hard it was to get into Maria’s schedule, I was ready to cancel my membership. I had actually just booked some services to burn through the sessions I had banked and BOOM! Tina came back! No plans to change my membership anymore!
I recently went to this location for a customized facial and to establish a new esthetician. Monica provided a great service and I will be returning. She is incredibly knowledgeable about skin care, and provided me with great education. She is friendly and professional. 😊 I bought a new cleanser following her recommendation, and will be buying more from the line at my next visit!
I dont like that the locations arent connected. I initially signed up at one location but have ended up going to a location closer to my home. The new location did not have my card on file for payment because the locations are not linked. If multiple people in your household have an account and one person would like to give their monthly massage to another family member with an account they charge a $10 transfer fee. The massage prices are not a good value. I would go more frequently if the prices were a better value.On the upside, the therapist Ive been seeing does a fantastic job. Maria really knows all the different muscles and how they are all connected. I always leave feeling much better.
I have been coming for 10 years to various locations, but I really love this one. The staff seems extra on top of COVID safety compared to many other establishments I have been to. In terms of massage, I really love Christina, would recommend anyone to her for a lighter but very relaxing massage (not all massages need to work out your knots I discovered). I also do stretch sessions with her which I find to sometimes be more effective than massages in loosening me up. David and Pamela are also great!
Great staff that does everything to help you to enjoy your time at Massage Envy. Maya, at the front desk, is very nice and makes sure that your visit is off to a great start, as soon as you walk through the door. Karen, massage therapist, is very caring, making sure that you are comfortable the entire time of the massage. Nikki, facial therapist, walked through every step of the facial to make you aware of each product she was applying. All very nice staff, which helps make the experience so much worth it.
Maria Z is an amazing massage therapist! She is so knowledgeable about musculature. I have worked with her for over a year and she has greatly improved the range of motion in my knees due to my tight leg muscles and arthritis from past knee injuries. Her deep tissue work is amazing. She deserves 10 stars!
Daniel has been my therapist for years. This is my first massage in about a year thanks to the crazy pandemic. As usual he did an amazing job and I felt great afterwards. It has been a rough year and I’m glad to be resuming my massages.Also the young lady at front desk was very professional and nice as well.
Pam is always prepared. Asks if I have any issue & then puts more concentration to that/those areas. She Recalls past issues & checks with me on how those areas feel. She’s very proactive, compassionate & in-tune to me as client. Pam is the best massage therapists I’ve experienced.
The staff was very thorough and cared about the level of treatment I needed. Pam, the massage therapist, was such a delight and incorporates techniques that provided additional healing to my muscle groups. I’m excited about being a member again with ME. Thank you for such a great professional and personal service.
Tina is awesome! I’ve had muscular pain for years in my back. I’ve had MRIs and doctors and chiropractors and no one has been able to point me in the right direction. Tina has an excellent knowledge of musculature and knew it was coming from my hip. We’ve been working on it once a month for about a year. The pain is managed and getting better all the time.
I had David for a massage and it was a relaxing and comfortable experience, so I would absolutely recommend David from personal experience because he does a good job getting at muscle knots and also checks in verbally throughout the massage to make sure your experience is comfortable.
Daniel provided me a 60 minute prenatal massage. He was professional, knowledgeable and the message was relaxing. The staff was so thoughtful and expressed excitement to me about my pregnancy, so it was a warm and welcoming environment. I felt safe from start to finish as far as health/COVID precautions.
I want to give my massage yesterday a 0 star. However, I’ve been here before and have had a positive experience. The masseuse I had yesterday for a 90min hot stone did not do a good job. I asked him to adjust the pressure and nothing come of it. It was a complete waste of my monthly credits.Update: my original rating was 3. However, after a few followups with the staff at this location, I feel inclined to update my rating to 5 stars. They accepted the responsibility, updated my account to ensure all of my massages are deep pressure, and provided comp for the massage. I appreciate this location for what they do for their customers. I have not received the “care” that this location provides to their customers from my “home” location. Looking forward to scheduling my next massage when I’m in the area.
I have been coming to massage envy for years off and on and have had many different therapist work on my back but Joel is hands down the only therapist I trust to actually help with my jacked up back! He is very kind, friendly and easy to talk to. He is your man to help fix any deep tissue issues!!! Thank you Joel!
I had questions about my account, and was understandably upset after sending communication thru email explaining my questions/reasoning. I got a text from Massage Envy (ME) saying my account would be suspended, because my card on file had expired & hadnt paid July/August fees. I got an email from my credit card company the same morning stating they had pushed thru the charge, because it had been previously filed with the merchant. I forwarded ME this email the day I got the text to show them that it looked like it had been paid from what I could see (upon MEs request).Lauren was very helpful letting me know what my options were with my remaining services when I didnt want to continue accruing new ones.When I spoke with her on the phone, she didnt have some answers & her manager took over the call. She proceeded to interrupt me several times, and when I asked her to stop, she said she already knew everything I was going to say, even though I hadnt spoken to her directly about any of this.I had already sent ME a copy of all my payments from the beginning of the year thru June, as well as a screenshot that showed there was a pending charge for the amount she disputed with me that I hadnt paid (I requested in my email to please not charge my credit card until I could double check my account to see if there were any payments missing). When I was told that my payment would be pushed thru, regardless of my credit card telling me they had already paid it (showed declined on MEs end/pending on mine - the credit card report the manager pulled & emailed me didnt have any dates associated with line items & contained the last four digits of several other customers credit card numbers), I told her that I shouldnt have to call my credit card company because ME may have decided to double charge me (she ran my credit card when I explicitly asked in an email not to before I could confirm on my end) & she proceeded to hang up on me.To say this was unprofessional behavior out of someone who has manager in their title is obvious & an understatement. I understand people have bad days (and maybe I was having one because of this particular situation), but managers should have the temperament to treat customers with respect & not get fed up/hang up on them when they are upset. Shes not called to apologize, so I assume this is how ME treats their customers & are perfectly fine with it.(This review is directed at the unnamed manager only. Lauren was extremely helpful & apologized to me for the manager hanging up on me.)
I have been coming here for years (1-3 times per month) and am a member of their wellness plan. Maria is a miracle worker! Whether I come in to relax and de-stress or work out sore muscles, she always has the right therapeutic technique to help me walk out renewed and refreshed.
Maria Z. At the Naperville (across from market meadows) Massage Envy is AMAZING! From injury pain, to headaches, even tired sore muscles she will cure what ails you! I personally see Maria twice a month for bells palsy and trigeminal neuralgia pain management. She had been a godsend and is in intricate part in my recovery. Check her out, you wont regret it!
This review is based only on my services with Monica. Ive had two facials with her now and she is amazing!! Shes extremely knowledgeable and you can tell how passionate she is. Her facials are super relaxing and my skin feels 100 times better afterwords. Im trying to get my skin ready for my wedding and shes given me great recommendations on how to treat my fussy breakouts! I was going to the Wheaton location for services but the staff I saw there was not trained very well, and the last facial I had there was one of the worst Ive ever had, lol - so now I come here just to see Monica!
Karen gave me a wonderful massage. Being extremely stressed and in bad health a massage was just what I needed and she really helped. But the receptionist ruined my entire experience.! I am by no means wealthy and shouldnt have even spent the money for this one massage but I felt I needed it. This woman insulted me, called me a pill popper and repeatedly judged me on what I had told her upon arrival of my visit. She would not take no for an answer as to if I wanted a membership. She argued with me for at least 5 minutes. You should never treat a customer like that, especially if they told you that they are sick and in need of some relief. I definitely will not be going back there just to be degraded and charged for a full hour massage when it started at 12:10pm and ended at 12:50pm
If I could leave 0 starts I would. The girl on the phone had no idea what she was doing, made the appointment (which I made for my boyfriends birthday) on the wrong date. Trust me ladies, I know when my boyfriends birthday is and then tried to argue with me. The best part was that the lady that walked out behind us was just as unhappy. Horrible service, very unhappy.

2022-05-18Tina is the absolute BEST. Every month I look forward to seeing her, and she never disappoints. Everyone here is so kind and helpful, and Tina especially helps with chronic pain I have with deep tissue massages. They also have a wide range of skincare, body, and aromatherapy products that are super great. I especially love the CBD bath bombs and the lavender roll on aromatherapy sticks. If you want a great massage, great service, and great products to help with relaxation, skincare, and even pain. 5 stars always, been going here for many many years.

2022-05-17The massage was pretty good, the deep tissue on the neck and shoulders was the best. I was a little disappointed that my massage ended before the hour was up…and we got started a bit late due to room turn over. I paid for 60 mins, and only received about a 50 min massage. This is why I have less than 5 stars.

2022-04-05In 40 years of massage I had never experienced such a disappointing massage. My therapist must have been at the end of her day. She was terse and not at all in the spirit of a massage. I was never told to turn over, I never was on my stomach for the entire session. ... my hands, feet, chest, abs as well as and cranial were ignored. I requested deep tissue and that didnt happen either. I have a balance on my gift card but I dont think Ill go back there.

2022-04-13The therapists have always been wonderful. I just hate the subscription policy. I havent been to getting a message the past two years. I went for the first time couple weeks ago. I have SO much accumulated and I honestly dont know when I can use them all up, and Im tired of paying monthly for something I dont feel comfortable using when mask is not required in the second room. I dont want to lose all mine massages, which at this point is probably more than I can use, so Im still paying. I wish theres some other way to use them. Like use it to buy skincare products or a gift card for someone else.The therapist, shes great btw, but was not wearing a mask, so I kept mine on. I know its mask optiona nowl, but given the nature of a massage environment specially when youre on your back, in the same room for at least an hour, social distancing is not possible, I was expecting ME to have a mask requirement for their therapists.

2022-07-19Of all the massages I’ve gotten over the many, many years, I’ve never had a massage have such a lasting effect. While they all felt good, any pain I had was back the next day. I’ve been suffering from excruciating pain all over, muscle and joint related, but most of it is in my back, hips and right leg. My back muscles are spasmed on both sides all along my spine making bending over for 2 minutes quite painful.. My hip aches constantly like I’m being stabbed even when I do nothing. Daniel listened to my issues and concerns, explained things to me along the way, and after a 90 minute massage, I got up and felt great. I assumed by the next day, like always, it would start hurting again but it didn’t! I left for my trip to Belize. We did a few strenuous 4-5 hour hikes in caves, including climbing, rappelling, and contorting our bodies to fit between rocks. I thought surely I’d be in pain after that, and I was….but only a very little!! I was even able to go on another hike the following day!I know my issues are not gone, but Daniel definitely knows his stuff! I will go to Daniel from now on as long as he’s working there! He is truly a master at his craft!

2022-08-14I’ve noticed actual massage time averages 40-45 minutes for a one hour massage. I’d like the full hour or 90 minutes when I come in. Beata is great though!

2022-08-10I have been going to see Beata for a year now, absolutely love her and even though her schedule is so packed, its worth waiting a month to get an appointment with her. I had two bulging discs in my neck and had been going for physical therapy for months with little to no relief. 3 months with her at a bi-weekly rate, I stopped going to therapy because thats all I needed. Thank you Beata!!!!

2022-02-09Just an awful policy they have. Had subscription, I said had because I canceled it today. You pay a fee each month and they add a massage to your account. However, if you want to cancel your subscription you have 60 days to use whatever you have on account. So you loose the massages you have collected in your account. Since I have not been really comfortable going for massages with the current world situation, I have several massages built up. I dont want to continue paying a fee each month, collecting another massage in my account that I wont be able to use when I feel comfortable doing so.So my recommendation is do not get a subscription unless you know you have the time to use the massages you collect.
