Located directly across from the truck stop... I couldnt ask for more in such a good and reasonably priced restaurant! Mama Luigis starter bread made me completely lose my diet!! Theres a tomato based Aoli of some sort served with Parm cheese and butter, for the bread... Warm bread at that.. I just couldnt stop! And that was before I got a piece of my friends pizza (good) and ate my fried Calamari which was on a bed of what seemed to be air fried spinach.Spinach.. Im all about my veggies, and that part was new to me, but needless to say that I LOVED it!! And my oversized wings finished things off. Of course I had food to go after all of that and our polite server dropped some to go boxes and cashed us out pretty quickly. I think the bill with 20% added was around $50... Not bad on the prices at all. As far as the facilities, its an older feel to me with so much brown wood everywhere, but still comfortable and thats to eaches own. Overall, I was pleased with my Mama Luigis experience. Sorry, but no photos... 🤷🏾♂️
We reserved the banquet room for a luncheon after my grandmother’s funeral and when everyone got there it was chaotic. No one knew we were supposed to get pitchers of soda ourselves, the soda was flat and tasted like soap, the food took an hour to be served, the soup was cold, the meat tasted odd, my brother found a dead bug in his ice cream. The staff were VERY kind, but I will never go back.
We had a very nice evening there. It was busy with 2 parties going on, but service was great and the dishes we had were delish. Chicken piccatta was different from what I was used to, but still tasty. The portabello ravioli was very satisfying. No complaints - quick, friendly service and good food.
It is outdated. The bathrooms were not that great. The food was good, prepared well. Timing for food to be served was slow. We attended a wedding reception there and they accommodated 100 guests. If you used a VFW hall to cater a wedding it would have faired the same.
We had a party of 9 and they gave us a private room which was very nice. The food and service was superb.Bella was our server she was very accomodationg funny and very personal she was right on top of things.I had the baked grouper it was excellent. We will be going back.
The rest was great we were there for my brother in laws funeral. The staff went out of there way to make us comfortable as possible. The family just talked about his life and never felt rushed and the waitress was aweson and thank you from our family and we will visit again to celebrate something different.
Great food great atmosphere. My wife and I loved it. The food was fresh. My only complaint was the waitress asked if I wanted dessert lol. I said Im so full where can I put it lol. We will be back. Theres a reason they have been in business so long. If you love REAL ITALIAN FOOD this is the spot.
Recepies are developed and classic.Tastes and flavors are spot on.Portions are generous and appropriate.Staff is friendly and helpful. This place never disappoints and always tastes like a trip to my Sicilian grandmas house for Sunday dinner. Love it!!!!!Keep up the good work, folks.
Wonderful dinner, great atmosphere and proud of our local old school business that stays current yet true to its roots. Love Mama LuigisJanuary 21st, 2022Our Waitress Bella took care of a party of 11 with such ease and grace. She made sure we were well taken care of!Food was excellent as always.Mama Sangria is the best I have ever had
This was the first time I picked up an entire dinner for 4 to go from Mamas. Usually I take my dogs babysitters out for a nice dinner to thank them for watching my pup when I go out of town. This time though, due to their concerns about going out because of the current situation, I brought dinner to their home and my dog got to come with and visit with some of her favorite humans. Everything was perfect, as always and everyone enjoyed their meal. Thanks again Mamas!
Our go to restaurant for an excellent dining experience with family and friends. They always put a great meal in front of you and serve it with style and refreshing professionalism. The flavors are unmatched as is the friendliness of the staff and owners who always ask how the meal was.
Good value especially if you join their rewards program. Have been a regular here for years.Very good and friendly service. Recently updated decor 20. Easy to find and abundant parking. Very near Bridgeview stadium.4/3/22 Very large servings. Food served on heavy crockery very warm. Left overs were still hot when we got home. We will get two more meals from the leftovers. We like the rewards program.
Food isnt like it was 20 years ago. Its a shame new cooks arent taught to cook from the great cooks of yesteryear. Beef was tough, mostacolli was gummy and sauce was flavorless, chicken bland. No reason to return or recommend. If it wasnt an event I was attending, I surely wouldnt dine here. They really need to hire a cook that knows how to cook good Italian food.
The calamari was excellent. The service was somewhere between apathetic and absent. There were no linens on the table. The minestrone soup was raw, the vegetables in the soup were crunchy, and worse - it was bland. When we complained, the wait person could have cared less. The penne was so al dente, it was inedible. We brought it home and the dog wouldnt even eat it. And, it isnt cheap. Not a good time.
Its right across the street from the pilot truckers. No excuse for the fast food fedish. Clean, good food with top notch service. Well worth the less than 430 for walk. Treat your body with proper dining for a change. Everything was superb. Simply delicious. Fine wine and dine yourself at a fraction of the cost!! 😉 You work hard. You deserve it.
Always wonderful at Mama Luigi’s , great service and delicious food, my only complaint is that the pasta chef doesn’t drain the pasta well , if he’d just give it a few more good shakes to drain off the extra water, I don’t like seeing a pool of water at the bottom of my plate , and it dilutes the wonderful Marinara sauce!
Food was good except the chicken, to me chicken was a little greasy and fatty. Otherwise its a nice place oh and they did not give out ice cream to everyone and offered coffeeI think what happened, why put it out if know one was going to eat the ice cream or drink the coffee, that would be a waste, so I guess if you wanted it, the waitress will give it to you.
Surprisingly great good! The calamari was cooked perfect and the pasta was awesome. Really everything I had was cooked perfect and tasted wonderful. I definitely recommend and will be back. Building is a little dated but they are updating things slowly. I can live with it.
This is one of my go-to places. I love Mama Luigis. The food is consistently great and the service is good too. Everything Ive tried there is delicious. Their lasagna, Pasta Louie (a bit spicy), and the alfredo sauce are my favorites. Its a nice family atmosphere, kind of quiet and nicely decorated.I highly recommend.
Our server was extremely attentive, personable and friendly which always adds a lot to our dining experiences. The food was excellent and the portions were generous so we ended up taking food home with us so we could enjoy it again. We truly appreciate the quality and taste of the food which makes Mama Luigis our go-to place whenever were in the mood for Italian food. The rewards program is an added bonus which will keep us coming back for more.Thank you for everything!
There bruschetta was like drinking a cup of oil. It was all can. Not fresh chop tomatoes like bruschetta should be with light oil. Cream and chicken soup was no where near creamy. Food came with soup or salad. I goty soup with my dinner but they also forgot about the salad for my husband dinner. There food used to be very very good and it went way down hill. I wont be coming back. Specially for how much I spent for drinking oil.
The place is nice, quiet, the service is good but more towards a casual place. This is your alternative to an Olive Garden but in a homemade Italian touch. Food is great, large portions, large wine selection and a full bar. The only detail to polish is the hostess, you dont feel welcomed at all with her dry, to the point, poker face personality.
I have been here several times over the years and the food and service are always good. We had a family style pasta, beef , chicken, mash potato, green beans, Italian sausage and coffee, all very good. The bar is a liitle dark, but had a decent variety of beers, wine and hard liquor. The parking lot is too small for the size of the place, and is not fully paved. The decor is a little dated to the seventies, early eighties. The staff is mixed young and old and very efficient.
Great food, fresh seafood , nice wine selection . Never disappointed, however the husband Jim who is the main chef and his wife Victoria who is the pastry chef are always there to welcome you and correct any issue with your dining experience. There mission is to bring you back time after time. My family has been going there for 20 years. But even on your first visit , you are just as important as I whos been there once a week.
The food was O.K. Our event was 240 people. The room was quite cold today. The restrooms were in need of repair in the bar area & banquet hall. The parking lot is in need of repair as well. On the plus side their sound system worked well. The restaurant will have many evenings of live music through the rest of the year.
It was very nice and the food is good I had a really great time as a matter of fact my niece had her wedding and reception there on that Friday Night it was a wonderful Experience there the staff was amazing they did a great job for the small grathing a very large place for the social distances Love it
MY NEW REVIEW: 01/03/2016We went to your restaurant last year and I forgot to tell the waitress that I was a Royalty Rewards member!! This time I didnt because we were next to a few tables pushed together that was celebrating someones birthday & one of them mentioned that they were a member & THEN I REMEMBERED!We LOVE your food!! Thats what keeps us coming back!! The waitress was very polite and good. The Minestrone soup - excellent. So was my husbands salad!! But his steak was a little too bloody for his liking, but he said it was still good. He ordered it medium rare. I ordered the oil & garlic pasta - yours is the only restaurant that makes it the way I like it!! I usually order the lasagna. We WILL be back!Weve been going here for years & have never been disappointed! The food & service is GREAT!! Mama Luigis even has a rewards program & sends you a coupon on your birthday. We have even had Easter Brunches there. The newly renovated restaurant creates a wonderful ambiance for all.
My husband and I have been enjoying this neighborhood jewel for over 50 years. The Italian specialties are like they came from Mamas cucina, but tonight we enjoyed seafood. First our waitress Kelly served a huge appetizer bowl filled with baby clams in a spicy tomato sauce and accompanied by seasoned brucetta was incredible. Then my husband enjoyed salmon with a side of sauted spinach and Italian seasoned broccoli. I enjoyed Walleyed Pike that was both generously portioned and juicy, baked potato and Italian mixed veggies. Of course, we topped off dinner with Tiramisu and cafe!! If you havent guessed, we absolutely love Mama Luigis and will frequent it forever. Hosts Jim and Victoria are gracious and will make you feel right at home. So come in and Mangia! Mangia!
Went with a small group of friends to enjoy a night of music at Mama Luigis. A friend of a friend, Connie Marshall, was singing tonight from 8-11. We had dinner and 3 sets of great music and song. My dinner started with cream of mushroom soup, salad, and included a delicious snapper, with a huge, scrumptious double-baked potato, and fresh veggies. We ended with coffee and dessert, which was amazing!! Looking forward to going back soon, for the food and for Connie Marshall.
We were seated right away. I ordered stuffed eggplant ,my husband ordered chicken parmesan and my granddaughter ordered chicken tetrazzini they also brought us warm bread with butter, freshly grated Parmesan cheese and bruschetta .I couldnt believe the amount of food that was brought to us everything was delicious we will be back. We had so much left , I was able to take home leftovers. 😋😋
My wife and I were there on Tuesday afternoon for my birthday. The bread was brought to our table piping hot with some fresh bruschetta which is always delicious. Mama Luigis has some of the best I have ever tasted. The food is always delicious and of course we can never leave without my wife and I sharing Tiramisu for dessert. We have never had a bad meal at Mama Luigis and the service is always top notch.
This place is fancy enough for a romantic date or simply dine out with family and friends! The quality of food is five star so the menu prices can vary depending on what you order. Ive been coming to Mama Luigis since I was in high school and the original owners are no longer there although the new owners are doing a great job of updating the place while still respecting the Mama Luigi legacy. I dont get to eat at this restaurant that often because I live in the city but when I do I go all out! I
I had dinner at Mama Luigis Monday night. It was awesome. The food was outstanding. We ordered calamari for our appetizer. It came with some spinach on the side. OMG!!!!!! The chef does something awesome with the spinach that I cannot describe. We were so impressed. The main course was awesome as well. The staff treats you like family. I recommend Mama Luigis for everyone! You will go back time after time. I promise.
What a wonderful dining experience every time! Always the best in Italian cuisine made to order by the owner in most cases. It is so nice to feel welcome and appreciated by a business in these days of big box everything. The remodeled dining room is beautiful with hand painted murals and comfortable seating. An intimate dining experience is assured by the appropriate music and occasional live entertainment. I know many are like me in the belief that neighborhood restaurants must live or die on their reputation and Luigis is exceedingly worthy of our patronage.
I love the pasta but also the prime rib is one of the best that Ive had. The staff watches to make sure the customers are taken care of but they dont bother you while youre dining. It is a very relaxed atmosphere & the food is excellentStill going & now they have new food items from last year. Everything is homemade quality. Excellent food, atmosphere & service
I cant think of a nicer place to enjoy your food, have great service and get such wonderful cooks in the kitchen. It is so relaxing to be in such a warm friendly atmosphere.Take your pick; chicken, seafood, steak, pasta. You cant lose. EVERYTHING is delicious. We just love this restaurant.
We had an exceptional dinner last Sunday! This was our friends first time there and they loved the meal and the atmosphere. Your renovations are beautiful and Mr. Jim Talerico shared the beautiful story of the mural painted on the little dining room (that seats 8 people) of his family’s home town in Italy. What an incredible coincidence and amazing story to tell.Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, beautiful restaurant and absolutely delicious food. And did I mention…I am all Italian, so it is great to have an authentic Italian dinner with all that home-made taste poured into the food and made with love. You can really tell, and that is why we love to come back.
Ive been coming here since the mid 90 s, theyve had their ups and downs. But I was pleasantly surprised stopping there tonight. Theyve remodeled/sorted out any issues that might have had me avoiding Mama Luigis a few years ago.The menu is contemporary, yet keeps its classic Chicago Italian family restaurant appeal. And the bruschetta is still great! All these years, a plate of bread, olive oil and home made bruschetta keep me coming back. This is how every meal should start.
This place has great food we had a family gathering and we thought it would be bland banquet food the beef and chicken were really good. The transition from the memorial to dinner seemed late not sure but my aunt said a time frame and everything seemed way late until i brought up that we were supposed to be in a separate room and my 5 yr old was mentally taking a talley of what he was going to get into. They tolerated my sons behavior very well the staff was very polite my family has been coming here a long time. We had my baby shower here back in 2013 and this place has been our familys place for nice gatherings. The smaller rooms are very nice and cozy we have been many times for smaller get togethers.
This place is a landmark, the food always has been great, the original owner seen the place needed some up dating to the inside and out. They did a complete remodel, when you walk through the doors, you step into a small town in Italy.I also like that the owners are not afraid to come to your table and discuss your dining experience. For a great dining experience, give it a try.......
Staff was great and accomidating. The bread they bring to the table was really good and the tomato salsa garlicky. The BIG bowl of spaghetti taste home made. The house made garlic dressing was really good but I like my salad dressing colder. good job and thanks for the extra sauce for the leftover (the whole dinner after bread and salad )
Have been coming to this restaurant for years. Family owned for 50+ years. Theyre food is always terrific and consistent; reasonably priced; and portion sizes undoubtedly make for leftovers. Must trys on the menu: Mamas Sunday Gravy; Chicken Parmesan; Lasagna. Service is fast and pleasant. If in the Bridgeview area, this is the place to come for delicious Italian / American. Weve also had banquets here and that comes highly recommended as well.
I have been going to mama Luigis for years, the service had always been impeccable and the owners jim and Victoria always make u feel special and welcome. They have the best food around, its always delicious. They have a very nice bar area which features some great entertainment on the weekends. It is one of the few restaurants that I will always feel very welcome and comfortable in.Jim and Victoria have done an excellent job over the years.
Great food...great service. HOWEVER:There was a party on the other side of a thin wall divider. The music was ridiculously loud and we couldnt carry on a conversation with our group. We asked their DJ to turn it down but it seemed like it got louder. We asked a server if they would ask them to turn it down but it stayed the same.
Awesome place , accommodating staff. The internet bullies have been out full effect for this restaurant making sure they understood their rights as an establishment during this whole virus thing and they still have had kind and fair responses. Kudos Mama Luigis now lets hope this thing passes and we can go on with business as usual👍
The food was mediocre at best. My chicken was full of fat and the marinara was greasy. Our glasses were dirty, table was dirty. One of the waitresses was having an extremely loud conversation with people at another table, they were cussing like sailors (including the waitresses) and didnt seem to care that I had a child dining with me. I actually had to get up from our table and tell them that I had a child with me. The waitress never came to my table to apologize either instead she told our server that she would buy my nephew dessert... No thanks. I paid our bill and we left. I will never eat here again.
We love the casual yet upscale atmosphere. The staff is always professional and willing to adjust the menu to our request. The addition of entertainment on Saturday evenings gives us a place to stop in for dinner & hang around for a cocktail or two:). We also enjoyed the Easter Buffet and look forward to Mothers Day!
Love coming here! Food is always great! I love their bread, their bruschetta marinara and everything else. For $18 I got freshly baked bread that smells like heavens, marinara sauce, Parmesan, minestrone soup and spaghetti and meatballs. Delicious! Portions are huuge so come here hungry 🙂
I love this Resturant, the food if the best youll find, the prices cheap considering all you get and the people that work there make you feel like family. A totally awesome experience. They also have live entertainment on many evenings and the lounge area make you feel like you just walked into Cheers. Fun place to go to. Highly recommended. Enjoy
This place is just terrible if you dislike food and customer service, All the staff was way past nice and polite to the point that I thought maybe I was being setup for something, I was right. I ordered dinner for our family and once again in true Italian fashion they brought so much food there was no way that a family of 3 could possibly eat all this at once. Ended the night with a few delightful cocktails, some really good hand picked wine suggestions and an extremely pleasant over all experience. The only downside was all the boxes I had to carry the leftovers out in. If you find yourself on the south side, looking for food only go here if you want a great atmosphere with great food and extra large portions. At first you may see the prices and have a bit of sticker shock, but once they bring you a platter and then you realize this is just your plate you will know why. There are a few different dining areas I prefer the bar area, but there are more traditional areas as well. So if you hate great food and good people, never go here. If you like those 2 things however I do recommend that you clean out some space in your fridge before you leave the house for the new leftovers that you will find yourself sneaking out of bed for all night long. Once you have attempted to eat your main course and if you can make it to dessert, be ready to have a cheat day for sure, the turtle cheesecake should be illegal. While you may not be able to sit down for a good family meal everyday, treat yourselves once in a while by bringing the whole FAM here. To top the night off right across from Haunted Trails so you can play miniature golf and let the kids run off the dessert. Best Location and Best Place, Or you could just settle for another night of Drive Thru and Netflix, (Boring)
30 years ago, we needed a hall, they were there. Exactly what we needed and more than we expected. Ice sculptures and all on the hottest record setting day of the year when everyones air conditioners were going out. Never went back to see them, but sure would like to. Their menu is comforting. It reminds me of moms cooking. Couldnt have asked for a better place, amazing staff, nicer people, great area to have it at. Im giving them 5 stars because they deserve it!
I have always had a positive experience at Mama Luigis. We had our 50th wedding celebration and the food was delicious from the appetizers to desert. We have also attended the New Years Eve celebration and we always have a great time meeting old friends. They have the best prime rib dinner in Chicago and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive. We have been patrons of Mama Luigis for about 30 years and enjoyed every meal we had there. They remodeled the dining room and the atmosphere is like being in Italy. Also, they have the most friendly waiters and waitresses. Its like going home to moms for dinner.Keep up the good work.
Mamas is a neighborhood restaurant thats been around for a long, long time. The remodeling was overdue, and provides a lighter, contemporary Mediterranean atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, portions generous, and service good.I most like Mamas for traditional Italian fare. Chef came out to meet and greet diners, which is a nice touch. Food quality has improved since management reverted to the family, and some new menu options are welcome changes. Mamas Sunday Gravy is a definite hit!Our most recent visit was on a Friday for meatless fare-they were very accommodating about using meatless marinara instead of meat sauce for our pasta selections. Hubby had stuffed shells, I had pasta Louie and was not disappointed.Salad Caprese tasted fresh with a generous drizzle of Balsamic for added sweetness. Very enjoyable! It looks like the wine list has expanded, but reasonably priced, delicious options remain available.Meals include fresh hot bread and soup or salad. Garlicky bruschetta or olive oil/cheese are served with the bread. I am sure butter or margarine is available, but I would not bother with that when these two yummy options are available! We chose soup, the minestrone recipe has been deliciously revised; also corn chowder, which was quite rich and tasty.Free parking adjacent to or behind the building is available, and parking is not an issue unless there is a wedding or banquet in progress.
Based on the reviews we made our way to Mama Luigis to celebrate a special night. As it turns out the food was not all that great, it was mediocre at best. The red sauce is very salty and the noodles were on the rubbery side. The chicken was dry and salty while the veal was moist yet very sweet. The salad was the best part of the meal if you request a side Cesar salad as the regular salad was oddly unpleasant.
Mama Luigis is our favorite restaurant. We visit at least once a week. Our dining experience is always terrific and the service staff is fantastic. We think everyone should give Mama Luigis a try and were sure it will become their favorite restaurant also. Everything weve ever had there was delicious and was served with a smile. The prices on the menu run from $9.99 to $19.99 so there are plenty of choices no matter what your budget. We suggest you try the prime rib on Saturday or Sunday...its the best weve ever had.
The remodeling was great. Love the new furniture and floor, and the door to the dining room is no longer by the front door, which makes for a more relaxing dining experience. The decor went from the 1970s to 2014. The food was great as always, and ample--we both took some home.
03/02/2020While we have been coming to Mama Luigis for many years, our favorite dishes have changed. Lately, our Faves include the Chicken Parmesan with a side of yummy meatballs as well as the Chicken Nini (which is a Garlic Lovers dream). Mama Luigis has an active Entertainment Schedule that can cover Fridays to Sundays, with an occasional Open Mic night on weekday nights. Call ahead or check their website for more definitive information regarding Entertainment. Mama Luigis is highly recommended for delicious and authentic Italian cuisine !!03/29/15 Update. Thanks to Mama Luigis for their Royalty Rewards club. I received a coupon for my birthday that pretty much covered the cost of my dinner. Their frequent diner program provides what is close to a 5% reward for frequent diners. This is a great deal!!Unless you want wall to wall TVs blaring sports minutia, this restaurant is a great place to have an intimate couple or family centered dinner. The restaurants interior is modeled in a quaint Italian motif and the customer service and cuisine is excellent !!6/22/14 update.Once again, Mama Luigis provided an excellent dining experience.Compliments to the Chef. The Prime Rib served on Friday was awesome. The seasoning was spot-on and the double cut was a Fred Flintstone sized dining treat.9/2013 updateManagement brought on a whole new crew of kitchen staff about 6 months ago and have steadily been bringing back the old favorites that made Mama Ls a preferred dining experience on the Southwest side of Chicago.Prime Rib and the BBQ Ribs are back and are awesome!! The new server staff is very friendly and provide an enjoyable dining experience. The kitchen staff is accommodating and if you might want a full slab of ribs or a larger cut of Prime Rib will allow you to upsize your dinner for a nominal up-charge. This is great for those with a larger appetite or those who like to enjoy part of their meal the next day at home :)Mama Luigiss is on our short list of restaurants that we visit monthly. Excellent Food, Great Service.
Mama Luigi’s has that authentic Italian vibe that’s rare to come by in this area. With excellent food, comfortable atmosphere, and friendly staff, Mamas has been a classic installment in the south suburbs for decades. Their live music and new draft tap, among other things, keep me coming back every weekend.
Weve been coming to Mama Luigis since our daughter had her rehearsal dinner therein 2005. We have never been disappointed! The food has always been excellent andthe service has been faultless as well. We have recommended Mama Luigis to manyfolks and intend to keep making the trek from Oak Park whenever we can!
My wife and I have been coming to Mama Luigis for years...we had stopped about a year ago when we felt the food wasnt up to past standards..we gave it a try the other day when our neighbor had informed us that the restaurant had been totally remodeled and the food was GREAT...I ordered Fruti DeMarie and it was outstanding! better than ever..my wife ordered the Lasagna and not only was the portion much greater, but tasted better too!...looks like well be coming back on a regular basis again...just had Chicken Breast Catitori....o man was that good
From a first glance it looks very old - but once you step inside it is a nicely decorated restaurant and banquet hall! The food was delicious, the service was quick and friendly and all of my questions for booking the banquet hall for a wedding reception were answered in a fast and friendly fashion! I loved my experience and I am so excited to have my wedding reception there!
Worth the time and travel! We live about 40 miles away now and travel over to Mama Luigis for two reasons, first, it is really good food and second, every part of the meal makes every visit a memorable meal, from the complementary fabulous bruschetta and freshly baked bread right thru the dessert, every dish, every magnificent cocktail, every morsel of food, all just perfectly satisfying and there is always a doggy bag! GO TODAY, you wont regret it!
Great creds to the owners of this 70 year, family owned, community establishment. Tonight, when I picked up my to go order, I left my bag with the soup on the front counter. Victoria, knowing I live four blocks from the restaurant, made sure the soup was delivered to my door. Now THATS service. ⭐🌟🌟🌟🌟
I have been to Mam Luigis numerous times now for banquets, shows and for just dinner. Each time the food has been spectacular. Everything I have tried there was delicious but I must say that my absolute favorite thing to eat is the mussels in white wine sauce. Oh and the tirimisu is completely decadent. I dont even like sweets but I always save room when I eat here.
I almost always order Chicken Marsala (it is THE best) here but in celebrating my birthday, I took the servers suggestion and ordered Shrimp Tetrazini. OMG...it was so very tasty! Now I have 2, no make that 3 favorites...I forgot about the sinfully delicious Turtle Cheesecake.Weve eaten at Mama Luigis countless times and will continue to do so. When youre going out for dinner, you may say gee, I wonder if their food is good....well, at Mama Luigis youll never have to worry about that. In 20+ years, I have never, ever had a bad meal here. Ive also booked wedding and baby showers here and have been just as pleased with those.
Marvelous little hidden gem of a restaurant. Most in the area know about it. If youre on the area, stop in and enjoy the home cooked Italian dishes. Pastas, lasagne, ravioli, seafood, big variety of chicken dishes. steaks, salads, superb home made soups. Each meal stars with warm, crusty bread. Nice selection of wines and beers. Have a canoli for dessert. Live music on Sat nights in attached cozy bar. Private banquet facilities, too. Plenty of free parking.
Everytime we go there our server is very nice. We always order the fetttuccine alfredo and pasta with garlic & oil and were never disapointed. Ofcourse we tried other things on the menu but the above is our favorite. We recommend your restaurant to our family and friends. Our son had his reception there 8 years ago and everyone was pleased with the food. P.S. I give it a 5 Star
My husband had surgery and wasnt able to dine at Mama Luigis. He had visitors, and I wanted to have a special meal for all of us. I asked for carry out dinners and was so pleasantly surprised at the box they presented. Everything was hot and delicious. Everything you would receive at the restarant was all beautifully packaged; down to the wonderful bread and brushetta. This might be an answer for tired moms to bring home a terrific meal on the way home from work. Kudos to Linda for her superb attention to each detail. Mama Luigis makes you feel special.
I usually take my mom for dinner, to Mama Luigis, and we normally order the medallions (filet mignon) and we have never had a bad dinner. The staff is always friendly, too. Also, they have the BEST bartender, Tony. He is a good reason, by himself, to visit the place. ☺
I dream about Mama Luigis RIBS! I have many allergies but these I can enjoy...they are SOOO good! They do have a gluten free menu but with my other allergies I cant take advantage of it. They truly have something for everyone! I especially Love the Friday Girls Nite Out special!
Myself and family have known the family of ma ma Luigis for many years . I grew up on homemade Sicilian cooking my grandmother would prepare for her family . this restaurant is one of the closest restaurants to my grandmothers cooking. Keep up the great job Jim and Victoria tellereco.

2022-05-22Terrible service while here on. a Saturday night. We were seated for 45 minutes without even being acknowledged by a server. After going to the hostess and still no service my husband spoke to the owner. Finally, about 7 minutes later a server came to the table. I was ready to walk but my husband was enjoying the entertainment. No one even apologized to us for the poor service. Terrible. I would not come back here.

2021-12-18We had such a great time here. It was a Sunday afternoon, and the mussels, mushrooms and all our meals were great. My daughter loved here butternut squash ravioli, and my seafood and linguine in a red wine marinara just hit the mark. And the best part, for a group of 3 including two bottles of wine, our bill was so reasonable.Shout out to Bridget and her family for such a great place to enjoy a meal.

2022-02-24Yesterday was the first time in the last two years because of covid that we dined inside. All this time weve been doing carry-out. We sat in the small dining room across from the main dining room with our friends. Its great to be back. The food is always wonderful..but yesterday it was Amazing.. There is NOTHING that needs to be improved QQ

2022-03-16The venue is great, the ambience is calming and if you choose to visit their bar you should expect a cross between a BDubs and a small town bar. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, i asked for an old fashioned and was served a surpirsingly delicious drink. Now to the reason this place only earned 3 🌟...The food is great if your pallet is running at about 5% and or starving. The food has no seasoning and does the place no justice. The chicken was cook unevenly some was over cooked a d other pieces undercooked, how? I dont know. The pasta (mostaccioli) was ok if its made out of a can. The salad was not bad though not the freshest for the place. The one thing I will say good about their food is that their mashed potatoes are bomb! Overall I think 3 🌟 is fair for the overall rating. The price of the food reflects the quality depending on your budget.
