Love this place so much!!! Ive been coming here since I was a baby and had my first haircut here! Theyve never disappointed me and make me feel at home. Not only that but theyre bilingual and are friendly. They are energetic and very cheerful, they are all funny and are very kind to everyone. I would recommend it to everyone! They make my hair, eyebrows, and make up look beautiful!
Very competitively priced, this hidden gem has been my hairs salvation. From the keratin treatment to their blowouts, they are the best around and I am always getting compliments after any service I have done here. Very friendly and professional.
Ive been coming here for 10 years, and I have always been satisfied with the results. They are very attentive and friendly. The environment is full of laughter. This hair salon is by far my favorite place. Every hairstylist has a great personality. They are full of smiles, and always present a clean store. Ive came for haircuts and perms, but they are also very professionally capable of giving great hairstyles/hair dye for men as well as women. The best part is they are also bilingual. Overall, this salon is the best place to come for a desired cut/perm/hair dues for a great price and joyful environment.
Been coming to this salon for fifteen years. I’ve had outrageous colors, Keratin treatments, and crazy styles. These stylists are so careful and mindful of your hair and how you look that sometimes you have to urge them to be crazy. They strive for excellent cut and styles and not once have I left with a tear. Not once have I seen anyone leave with a tear in their eye.
I have been going to Magic mirror since it’s opened. I have moved four times out of the state and I try to find new hairstylist but they always burn or mess up my hair. So now I live in St. Louis Missouri and every time I come back to Chicago Illinois I make sure I stop in at Magic mirror so they can fix my hair. Magic mirror is a very reliable friendly atmosphere. Whenever I get my hair with highlights or just color they always amaze me with how good the match is. I usually call in to make sure that I don’t have to wait so I call to schedule an appointment and I’m never disappointed they always get me in as soon as I walk in the door. They also know that when I come I am on a tight schedule so they do everything to accommodate me. It is also a very clean environment. They are my number one choice for hair salon and they also do make up and style your hair for certain occasions. I will fully recommend this place. A shout out to all my girls a magic mirror thank you for keeping my hair healthy.
Love this place. They did our hair for my wedding back in September and they did an amazing job. Our wedding was on a Sunday and they don’t open sundays but they opened for us that day we were so thankful. I have a hairstylist I originally go to but he moved far so I never trusted anyone with my hair until I came in today because I was tired of my damaged hair. So I went in and Yolanda took care of me. She was amazing and my hair feels great I feel like a new person and have officially found my new hair salon 😍❤️

Remy does an amazing job. I never had someone listen to what I want and just know with hardly any direction. This is the only person I will let cut my hair from on now. The salon in general is just so social and welcoming. Fridays and Saturdays your lucky to be seen its so packed. Anything more than a cut or wash needs an appointment and its best to come in the mornings.
Called the place to schedule and I was told only walk ins on Saturdays but would not take more than 15 minutes wait if I was to go at that time. I drove 15 min and there were 3 customers ahead of me for 5 hair dressers. After 5 minutes of wait I asked how long would be the wait so I could go to the gas station buy me a water and the kid that was working at the front desk had to ask one of the ladys and she said a hour. Not even he could believe and asked again and made an awkward face and them came and told me. Could have avoided a 30 minutes drive if they told me that over the phone.
My daughters and I have been coming to this salon for about 10 years. My girls got their first haircuts here. Also, are not pricey at all. We are always satisfied with the results.
This place never fails me on my hair! Always do what’s healthiest for my hair without damaging it! I wouldn’t recommend any other place nor would I trust anyone else!❤️ Will always come back here!!!!❤️

I’ve been coming here for 10+ years. Have done it all color, highlights, hair cut, make up, up do’s and have always walked out more than happy. All the staff is super friendly & you can’t beat the value you get for what you pay.

This hair salon doesnt take the covid health crisis serious. I saw people wearing the mask on their chin. Which is definitely not acceptable.

Not true they do just normal hair cuts and if you want Old lady hair dye and hairstlyes . If you ask for a ombre or blonde highlights you get orange... NOT PROFESSIONAL!!!

The first time I liked the attention, but the last time the person who attended me was very impatient. I told him I didnt want too much cut, I asked him to pass the #3 only to the sides (there are only two left and right sides) and to the front only to cut a little and to the back nothing. When I felt the machine go from bottom to top, I told her I didnt want to cut the back and she was stubborn that the sides are all around. There was no longer an option, in the end I paid for a cut that I did not like and that I did not want. In businesses that deal with people, they should learn to listen to what the customers want and then get to work.
3 years ago I moved to Addison and I was looking for a salon where they groom well, I have a lot of hair and my hair is thick, not everyone knows how to fix me how I like, and I was lucky to find them,I have been coming to this salon for 3 years and I love it, the cuts and hairstyles are spectacular, I always leave happy looking like a Hollywood star and the prices are super cheap. I recommend them 100%.

2017-09-17Went here and they DO NOT know how to work with bleach!!! THEY BURNED MY WHOLE BOTTOM SCALP AND MY NECK!!! Terribly!!!! I even had blisters that came up from the burn... went back that same day and told em my scalp didnt feel right and was still burning and the lady looked and lied and said its not even red when my mom had already looked and told me i should go to the hospital.... my scalp was completely blistered and wet because the blisters were popping!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Take a look at the pics!!!

2021-04-08I found my new Hairstylist....Her name is RENY!!!She is the sweetest person and does OUTSTANDING work. She took the time to listen & look at pictures of the style and color I was looking for and BAM my hair turned out awesome. Exactly what I wanted and then some!The shop is great, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and everyone is so friendly!I definitely recommend checking them out!

2019-03-26I love my new hair cut. I had my hair down to my waist line so it was time for a new look. Maria was my stylist today and she did an amazing job. She was attentive and made sure I was okay with the plan for the cut before she started. We chit chatted and made my experience wonderful. 2018-09-01Fast, great and professional service for very reasonable prices!!!I just walked in on a very busy Saturday. Didn’t have to wait long, maybe 10min. One of the owners (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) took care of me! She was very, very sweet. She gave me her professional opinion and my best options for my TOTALY damaged hair.I had my hair cut and highlights done exactly how I wanted!!! For so many years I wasn’t able to find hairdresser who understands and does what I want! She was the best!!!They just gained another loyal customer!!!

2019-11-26Came here because I wanted to try out a local place and this place had good reviews. I really wanted simple bangs that I could sweep away if I wanted, while still having them on other days. Mary cut my bangs. I showed her a few photos of what I wanted. She nailed it! Moreover, she took her time and made sure it was what I wanted. She even blow dried them out to give me a better idea on how long my bangs were after, in case I wanted to adjust the length further. 10/10 superb, and only $5! Definitely worth it and cant beat the price, efficiency, and service!!!

2019-01-09Very happy with our experience. Chose this salon due to its location and high reviews. They did a great job with my 4 year old. She cut her hair exactly as I asked. She was so patient and kind even with my daughter moving and turning her head the whole time. I would highly recommend!
