That store was a total mess! I used to love going to THIS Macys I have been there a few times this year and its always a disaster. Nothing is in order and there is stuff everywhere. I really wanted to cry. Im sure they dont have enough employees to help its so sad. The shoppers are also so inconsiderate they dont care where they put things. Its a total mess!
Something happened after covid. Displays a bit dusty and items seem worn out on display. Jewelry are glass display counter are scratched and hazy. Staff seem distant almost as if scared to make a sale while wearing non medical grade face mask. Prices are resonable.selection on certain item like perfume are abundant. Hopefully management can get the spark back in store for thos who actually shop at store not online.
Nice store, appears to have quality merchandise, but there was a huge problem..when I walked through the jewelry department interested in purchasing a gold chain, there wasnt a salesperson in sight. I slowly walked around one whole counter looking right into the glass display and no one showed up to sell me anything. I passed a saleslady next to the aisle in the adjacent department leaning against a counter looking like I was invading her territory. As I left the jewelry department, I paused to give anyone a chance to make a sale..but nope~ ..bye 👎
The place has everything. The lady we dealt with for our return was unpleasant in adult womans clothing. When we used our GC to purchase other items, that woman was delightful near kid toys. Im not a fan of this store so I wont go back unless I have to. Not my style, not my price point.
This place is huge. Has everything youd need from a department store. Macy’s offers a first-class selection of top fashion brand including. Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Clinique, Estee Lauder and Levi’s. In addition to shoes and clothing. Macy’s has a wide variety of housewares, even for gifts for a decent prices and they always seem to have some kind of deal going on to save even more money. I brought 2 pair of jeans from Levi’s and shirts from Calvin Klein. great sales, and easy store pickup & returns. I love wandering through Macys Backstage bargain section too! Good customer service Indeed. Macys always my favorite shopping store. the quality, the price and the staffs are too good. I found everything I needed for a great price, friendly service. Very much appreciated. Ill definitely be back.
Seems like this place is going downhill with fewer clothing options for both men and women each time Im there. Went there recently with my wife looking to buy maternity clothes only to be told they dont have any in store and buy things online. Well, online it is, but not Macys.
The only good thing about this Macys is their new stories section and their cosmetics department. My sister and I both went in to buy some things (prom shoes for her and a work outfit for me). Unfortunately, the place was an utter mess.The shoes were completely disorganized and all faced in one direction, so it only looked good if you stood at a specific angle. I liked the items in the inc collection, but I couldnt find anything in my size. I went to the counter and the sales lady said that they should have the items in the size I asked for, so it e went on a scavenger hunt to find them- but even between the two of us looking we were unable to. There was literally no organization, and the clothes were thrown everywhere. And the items I was looking at cost almost a hundred each! Macys obviously does not care about the upkeep of its store. Ive attached pictures below.The one good thing about the place was the new stories section. I found some super cute things that I wasnt expecting. And best of all, they are all sourced from local businesses! And the staffing was the best (three sales associates!) out of any of the other (much larger) departments in the store.Perhaps if Macys would staff all of the store like they did the stories section, it would actually be a decent place to shop.
This is truly a gigantic Macy’s, it has three stories and an enormous selection. Make sure you get down into the basement which is where the clearance section is. I saw some crystal vases for her 75% off and some flat iron that was regularly priced close to $200 down to 60. There seem to be adequate staffing so if you had questions there is plenty of people to ask. Also the clothes that I did look at seem to have a good selection of sizes.
I purchased a new winter coat at Macy’s last night. I got there twenty minutes before they closed. I was able to find a nice coat. They had a great selection. The cashier was friendly which was surprising given that I got there so close to their closing time. It was a good experience.
When doing a buy online pick up in store one expects the order to be reasonably ready with in 24-48 hours. I ordered a pair of shoes and I checked the email it says it will be ready in 6-9 business days and only 15 minutes to cancel. Well I missed the time window to cancel. If I wanted to wait the same amount of time for shipping I would have had my item just delivered. 6-9 days for a buy online pick up in store is just insane.
The womens section on the top floor is horrific with clothes smashed together, laying on the floor and no organization at all. This makes it extremely difficult to see any clothes so I just leave. The only reason I am doing this review is because this has been going on for a long time and the womens area is basically ignored by the staff. The best word to describe it is trashy. Very unfortunate and discouraging for what should be a high end store.
Best part of this store is the personal shopper option and the friendly staff.Store is just a disorganized mess! Ive seen Goodwill stores that are more organized than this place. Bathroom stall had no working closure and wasnt overly clean. Dressing rooms are limited to just one spot, but that was clean and well organized.
One of the best Macy’s i have ever shopped at i mean i have been to a lot of their locations nationwide but this Macy’s always have the best options with huge variety of items always in stock with in store and curbside pickup options as well. This Macy’s is one of the best places if you’re trying to shop for the beauty or fragrance product’s they have a massive variety of items available to choose from. My family love’s shopping here and specially at their Clinique beauty counter. They have some amazing, friendly and very helpful staff working at their Clinique beauty counter. My mother always shops at this location for her all beauty needs and her favorite spot is the Clinique. One of the only reason’s we drive almost 45mins to Schaumburg is to shop at this Macy’s no matter how long it takes we always love coming here.
I recently purchased an IWatch online and needed it to be sized. I called Macys in Woodfield, and Customer Service related my message to the Watch & Jewelry Department. They called me back in 15 mins and said they can do it. I was Helped by Cathy.L in Jewelry and she was incredible. She helped me size the watch and did an excellent job, no scratches, and got me in and out of the store in 15 mins. She also offered to resize it during the Summer so I have a looser fit. She went above and beyond with her help and Customer Service skills. This is the reason why I keep coming back and buying more stuff. When I need to get another watch, I hope I get Cathy. L again.
I love Macys, but met the rudest unprofessional manager in the jewelry department today. I bought a movado watch and it was not working. Due to bad battery, although I just bought it during Christmas. No problem, but this manager named Tina was very rude about the whole situation. If this manager does not like her job, maybe find a different one. Please be a-little nicer… it goes a long way.
Do not waste your time here. You could find better products at . The prices are high the inventory is low there is no staff etc. The store is extremely dirty and dated. Goes for all Chicago area stores. Womens bathroom is always gross.They send you coupons in the mail and they literally never work for anything. I decided at my last visit yesterday that I would never return to the store. On a Wednesday afternoon at 4 PM there was 15 people in line and the kindest sweetest person at the register. I don’t even know how kept her cool but she was the only good thing about our visit. We ended up not buying half of the things we brought up with us because the coupon didn’t apply.Also, you should know that they take forever to send you something via on-line order.If it says it will take 5 to 8 days it can take weeks. I just got a purse in the mail and forgot I even ordered because it’d been so long.Getting things refunded to you after you buy on your Macy’s card takes forever too.I’ve tried to be a good customer but I’m done.
I dont go often to Macys so I am not sure what its supposed to look like, but this one gave me an expensive thirft store vibe with the way all the clothing was mixed together. I would expect when you go to a store like this, clothing would be neatly separated and presented, rather than jammed on racks like a TJ Max or Marshalls. Walked in... walked out.
Talk about judging a book by its cover…I came in to purchase some men’s fragrances. The women working congregated by one of the counters and then all looked me up and down before looking away and talking some more. After 10 minutes and aimlessly picking up bottles, I finally got asked if I needed any assistance. As someone that works in luxury retail, I think the employees here could learn a thing or two about exceptional service.
This particular Macys is huge and surreal. I dont even know if i need to buy anything there to experience it in its entirety. Its like a scene out of a movie or something. The atmosphere is like the apotheosis of a department store. Everything is clean and well organized, and gives a supremely high end feel.
I ordered two comforter sets online. One arrived damaged. One if the pillow shams was missing its ruffles. I called customer service and they were not at all helpful. I was told that even though I purchased online due to the pandemic, that I would have to return it in person. I really only wanted the sham replaced, but they refused. Poor quality and poor service.
I was looking for alcohol free skin care and it’s really though to find one. I really wanna say thank you to a lady with a high light hair and high bun hair style. (I regretted that I didn’t ask her name) She was being really really friendly and patient with me and eventually helped me to find one! You MADE my day!!! I really appreciate you 😊I will definitely come back and buy more stuff from you!!
A very wonderful woman named Val helped my boyfriend and I find a very nice coat as my gift for our 2 year anniversary. She was so helpful and gave us a discount and told me how nice it looked on me. I was very pleased with the customer service and will be returning to shop with Val!
Love shopping here. You can find mostly everything you are looking for. Very clean and organized. Salespeople are very helpful. Quality of furniture sold here is great. The outlet store for furniture is great. You never know what furniture comes in but its like being on a treasure hunt. With a little patience and luck you can find what you are looking for.
I was in the market to buy a wristwatch. I drove one hour from home, to browse the selection at this Macys.There was an interesting red sport watch under the counter. I asked to see it. The sales associate, an old White woman, responded, Youre not really going to buy anything. So you dont need to see it. She then quickly walked away and disappeared around the corner.Well, since she would not sell anything, and abandoned her post, with no replacement, maybe she doesnt really want to be an employee. This is what casual discrimination looks like. Macys needs to fire this person.Shopping is supposed to be informal on the shoppers part. Me browsing in your store is not a waste of your time; but it was a waste of mine. I didnt drift into the store on a breeze; pretending to shop on my way through. Im not obligated to buy the first thing I see. Im not going to debase myself by begging to buy something; or trying to convince you I have money. So I bought and now only buy wristwatches from other businesses instead.I had no problems with service back when this Macys store was a Marshall Fields.
I had an AMAZING visit today because of Jonida. She was patient, helpful, and super kind! It was incredibly busy but she helped me every chance she could and I appreciated every bit of it. Jonida if you are reading this, thank you so much for all your help and I definitely will be returning soon.
I looked at a ring online and had to use my gift cards at the store. That was at Valentines day time. This ringed popped up everyday between my phone and e-mail...finally made it to Woodfield and it was worth the wait! I knew the price and design and the staff was very helpful in getting it for me! Great customer service 👏

This is not ok! I placed order to the dress three times and I was been charged three times and after sending me a cancellation email like what and now the dress is out of stock and I have wedding coming up this weekend this is ridiculous I would never ever shop from Macy’s again! Imagine I didn’t check my email now I would wait for nothing.
Too many dressy & formal dresses crammed onto racks in too small an area. Large selection but very frustrating. Nothing sorted by size or anything, no help/clerks available to help. Some dresses damaged because they were so crowded on racks. Had to wait in line for fitting room. Only one open out of several available. I finally got disgusted & left!Tip for Macys, besides more space, help, fitting rooms, sorting, etc. Use a candle to wax the tops of the racks so the hangers will slide easier! Redo as needed!
Its a Macys. That means that regular shoppers know entirely what to expect and occasional ones will be walking around a bit to take everything in. I bought a pair of pants here for work and did more than okay for a Labor Day sale, but they get docked a notch for not having anyone rearrange the stock - shoppers went through that section like army ants and left pairs of pants in a jumble you had to dig through in order to find your preferred size and style.
Lately the store was just looking messy. Dresses all mixed up, dresses on the mannequins but not next to the rack that has the dress the mannequins were wearing. Dressing rooms were a mess and super long lines. I know its probably been hard on retail stores since covid but staff probably short but it just felt like a discount store. But its been like this before covid.
Not sure what is going on, but the service here is really bad. Specifically at the jewelry counter. Today we picked up a ring (not cheap at all!) that was purchased here, and the associate made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by being there. Same experience when we went here to drop it off.
My boyfriend called to check what clothing items were in stock and was helped by a very nice lady named Linda! She told him what was in stock, got clothing items in his size ready for him on arrival, was extremely friendly, personable, and even gave him a discount on his total purchase! She is a very lovely lady and was extremely helpful for something very important. Thank you Linda!!!
Lots of selection but its so messy. Dresses are disorganized, no chance to find sizes. Spent 2 hrs, got tired and frustrated and havent bought anything cuz I couldnt find my sizes for dresses I liked. System showed they had them in the store. Store was understaffed. Couldnt find associate to help, long lines at registers.
Soo anyone who knows me personally knows I LOVEEEEE my skin care stuff: serums, lotions, eye creams etc.. I went for a new bottle of my Estee Lauder #Advanced night repair and maybe more. I wanted to see what was new to their line of skincare stuff and ended up with the same thing. Totally fine, bc the customer service lady was AMAZING. She answered all my questions and made suggestions as well. Spending my hard earned $ and good customer service? Well yes maam count me in and Ill take 2 please!😏 I also got a cute pink makeup bag as a gift 😁
I want to complain to the administration about two people who, I believe, work in the security field: an Asian-looking girl and african appearance man. They followed me and scared me, without telling the reason for the persecution.When I stopped and asked what was going on, they asked me to show what was inside my new backpack. When the man saw that there was nothing in him, he and the girl ran away. It was terrible. They humiliated me with this. They had to tell me what was happening and not follow me and talk on the phone.It happened at the Macys store
Not a bad store - employees are very helpful and nice. Just a lot of lines & waiting. I got the feeling they were pretty understaffed. Also, while I appreciate the open floor plan especially in times of COVID, it does make it feel like there isnt much really there for sale.
Asked an older woman sales representative that works there a question about where an item would be and she gave me attitude and said she did not know where it would be. She acted like I was a burden just for asking her a simple question. She was very cold and unfriendly.
Horrible communication between there other Macy stores, went to 3 Macys store to buy men suit,started from Oakbrook and was advised to go to Schaumburg Macys and then we were send to Macys in Algonquin, every time we were assured that the stuff which we want to buy is available and result we never found what we were looking for after wasting so much time.
An absolute dirty wreck. There was merchandise all over the sales floor. The carpets and flooring was dirty. Only 1 dressing area open and it wasnt clean either. Oh and they close the only open dressing area 1 hour before the store closes.... I wonder if this will be the next store to close. So disappointing 😔
Macys is truly one of a kind. You can always find anything home related in one trip. The products are usually of a high quality, so you dont need to worry that youre getting some fake product on Amazon. Even if youre not buying anything, just browsing around Macys is fun, especially if youre with a good friend or significant other. Plus theres food right in the same building so you could make a day trip out of it. Get in some good exercise while shopping, and eat to recover your energy. The staff usually seem nice except for one time I had a not so friendly cashier, and why I give them 4 out of 5, but all in all this Macys is a great place to have a fun day shopping.
Unfortunately we had an absolutely terrible experience with purchasing a couch from Macy’s. We purchased a three piece sectional prior to Labor Day. Our estimated delivery was expected for 11/20 which our sale lady informed us it will probably arrive that week or sooner stating “they really never take that long.” A week after the estimated delivery we’d receive an email explaining that the delivery would be delayed by another month (now expected 12/26). December 26 comes along hearing nothing, and then another week passed by and we were again informed our delivery was to be delayed until January. After a little over 4 months our couch was finally delivered on 1/20. We accepted the fact that delivery took awhile and were so excited to receive the couch. However, after seeing the couch it didn’t even look like they finished sewing it. It came with a ton of strings hanging out of the seams. And we should have inspected it even closer because there’s a tiny hole in it as well. The quality to the product is absolutely terrible as well as was the quality of the service. I strongly warn others from ordering any type of product from Macy’s.
Hilda was very knowledgeable about the jewelry and the ladies at the Estee Lauder counter were hip and fun...an excellent Customer service experience...what Customer service used to be but is sadly lacking...good variety of jewelry at different prices..got some real beauties at great prices.
I didnt have a pleasant experience with my curbside pickup this time. I called ahead and went to the pickup spot and got # 1 . Then I called again to notify the in-store worker. Even after 10 cars behind me got my item they were not able to find my item. Finally I parked my car and walked in to help them. I had to wait 30 min car and another 30 min in store before I could get my item. In all this chaos I appreciate the patience and effort the workers are putting in to keep the business stand.
I felt very uncomfortable shopping here because the store does not enforce their mask policy. Employees were assisting customers without masks. Thats an issue. Employees should be provided with more training how to tactfully enforce store policies. If there is no enforcement, there is no purpose of the policy.
I ordered a dress for a wedding and it was delivered in a timely manner, however it was not the same colors that was on the web site. So I proceeded to order a different dress and it came to me in the wrong size and wrong color, this happened 4 times. Now I am on hold for the 3rd time trying to find out when they are sending me my return label and its been 8 minutes as I requested to speak to a manager, funny thing is I ordered a different dress and they were quick to charge my credit card but havent had time to send me a return label ????? VERY VERY VERY POOR SERVICE. Also I would really like to speak to somebody in the USA not overseas to resolve my issue however that is not how they operate. still on hold and it is now 15 mins
Loved shopping but felt crowded. Afraid this wasnt my best decision to shop when busy but I didnt realize it was Friends and family time. I wish there was a limit on the number of people allowed in.Also was text messaged by tge Clinique manager with latest deals after my visit. She sent a link to a PDF that is 56 pages. Im sure its great stuff but that would suck up my entire memory
I had to exchange a couple of sweaters for a larger size. They were more than happy to show me where the sweaters would be located and how many were in the store for the size I needed. We couldnt find one and they were very helpful with ordering me one online. They also gave me the cheaper prices on the exchanges. The cashier was amazing and his customer service was so sincere.
Macys @Woodfield is one of my favorite shopping store. One of the reasons I come back because of the stellar customer service of Jackie. Shes always on her game, ready to help. Shes always have her can do&let me help and assist you spirit. Shes such a great asset to the company. Hope the management will see her attention to detail and being organizedand speedy. She checks back and making sure you get the right size and right shoes you like otherwise shell help you order it online and ship it to your home. She makes sure shell inform you with the promotions they have. Thats what customer service is all about when you care and go beyond your job description. Jackie go extra mile, very patience and her customers care skills is stellar. Im very grateful to her assistance youll never see her pout nor upset especially on their peak holidays shes very adaptable and smile at all times. Would definitely recommend Jackie shes assigned at Shoe department at first floor. Very excellent staff and will definitely come back. Because of her great service she turns a customer to loyal ones.
Worst experience till now. I wish there was a 0 star option. As we all know Macy’s at woodfield mall is around 3 floors. I picked few clothes from the female section and went downstairs to pick few clothes from the men section. As I was going downstairs, I noticed that someone from the store was following me. Well guess what, they though that I am stealing (I mean you guys have 3 floors so I think I can check out anywhere in those 3 floors) I went to the girl who was following me and talked with her about what’s going on but she was so rude and mean that she didn’t even bother to answer me back. I called the manager and told her the whole situation but she acted like nothing happened and said she didn’t knew anything about it. I hope I have to never go back to the store again.
All the time I drive my wife to that store but never been inside. I estimate it should be good cause I know how picky is my wife. She go there to rerurn 3-5 items and come out with 10 others? Probably I will understand the womens, when I find the answer of the following uestion why they sold round pizza in square boxes and cut the pzza in triangles!???😄😅😨😨😨
The girl at the sunglasses section at Macy’s was really rude to my mom. I wasn’t there to help my mom translate but my sister and my mom got treated badly by her. Her name is Rima or Rema they didn’t see her name tag clearly. She discriminated my mom and didn’t want to help her look for some glasses. Hope they fire that girl and hire better people . It is unacceptable that she was just looking my mom up and down. She just ignored my mom as if she wasn’t there.
I came to this store today in search of some jeans. I was helped by Erica and Deb in the men’s Levi’s Dept. These 2 ladies were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful shopping experience. If you ever need help in that department, please ask for Erica and Deb! Thank you ladies so much once again. I really enjoyed the item I purchased from you guys. I will definitely be returning.
The authenticity & genuineness of the brands of fragrances @ Macy’s is undoubtedly the best.We are the Platinum members of Macy’s since years now as we are the fans of all the brands here, be it, clothing, bags, shoes, shoes, fragrances, jewelry.My experience with the Sales Associates @ Estée Lauder dept was very bad. The ladies there are non-communicative, non-cooperative & not humble. This Thanksgiving 2020, I bought 6 gift packs of Estée Lauder Christmas boxes for $ 24.50 & yet they maintained a very bad attitude towards us. They did not offer us Estée Lauder samples, even though we asked for it. They need good training on customer service. We pay for things we buy & command respect & dignity as customers.Requesting U to please look into this matter seriously.We & our friends are sincere & honest customers of Macy’s since years & hold high respect towards it for its quality & service.Thank You 🙏😊
Macey’s was up there with Dillards, Nordstrom’s MarshallFields etc. Macey’s does sell high end clothing and goods. But the WoodField Mall location reminds me of a Burlington Coat Factory. Doesn’t matter what clothing department you go in nothing is folded and nothing is in order. I was there 05/27 to purchase Cole Haan socks and Michael Kors Suit Pants. Clothing was thrown all over the place, very unorganized store. I think I’ll just shop online from Macey’s. Please don’t blame anything on COVID, that line has been used one too many times and it’s getting old it’s way too easy to use COVID as an excuse spare me the corporate line. Employees are just flat out lazy and don’t want to bother. That’s what happens when you hire kids to staff your store.
I’m a platinum member of Macy’s, in other words a frequent buyer for years. So, I’m familiar enough with the store services and policies! I normally go to the Macy’s at Old Orchard mall and this was the first visit (and for sure the last) of the Shaumburg location.I stopped by to return an item just because this store was on my way. Being a loyal costumer, I’ve returned items enough times to know that my Macy’s credit card or app can be used as a proof of purchase even if there’s no receipt or tag. Yet, the customer service claimed that’s not the case. Not only they didn’t accept the return, the two ladies were really rude and treated me like a shoplifter!!!! The worst people I’ve ever encountered in my life and I’m so sorry for Macy’s to have them employed as they barely know how to talk to customers!

The quality of the dress we picked out for my daughter was excellent, pickup was quick and easy. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the shoe department wasnt part of Macys and we couldnt use our customer cash to help with our purchase. Over all a good experience.
So yesterday afternoon/evening there were guys on the middle floor by the escalator playing around scaring customers by trying to fool people into thinking they were hidden mannequins. The store employees stood around and let this happen. Why? There are people looking to shop or just walk around to clear their minds who dont want to be bothered and have their experiences ruined on the mall. Ridiculous.
I had a wonderful experience on the phone, I called to see if you had 2 dresses in stock. I spoke to Asia in the Woodfield location. Not only did she find the 2 dresses in local stores in the sizes I needed, she helped me order them and have them shipped directly to me. Asia is an example of exemplary Customer Service. I really felt her care about my shopping needs. Thank you so much Asia!
Amazing service! I was helped by a man who was very courteous and polite. His name was Mike Kosinski and he was amazing. He helped me with finding correct sizes very quickly and I hope to see him whenever I visit Macys inside of Woodfield again to shop for more dress shirts.
I purchased an item online to be shipped to the store. I waited 12 business days to pick up my item. (7-10 business days is the allotted time). I received an email stating it got lost in transit and received a 25% off coupon on my next purchase. The deal I ordered for was well over 25%. I called but was sent to a call center. The representative was going to place my order for the original price (this is why it has at least 2 stars). She looked it up through my zip code and said it was available at the store that I wanted to pick it up at! She was unable to make the order due to online difficulties, but saved for when it gets back in stock (yay another 90 min call)!Anyway, don’t ship to store with Macy’s. The item will be shipped to the store, but they’ll say it’s not there and rip you off! What a horrible experience!
Went with sister to get some makeup. Entire staff but one were chatting to eachother. They would glance over every once in a while to look at us but continued to ignore us. The one person that was working, finished up with her client then ran over to us to see if we needed anything. We said yes, customer service. She, and only she, helped us and I would give her 5 stars but the others get zero so only 3 to split the difference. Came back with my aunt and again they tried to ignore us but my aunt went up to them and said,who helps me with Clinique? They had to help but it was grudgingly.
Poor customer service.I was visiting yesterday day with my daughter in laws family to enjoy a nice shopping day at stores. We ended up at Macy’s and because my extended family is from China and wanted to buy a lot of American good & she purchase over $600 in clothing. We went to a register and she started scanning our items and throwing them in a very large bag. We asked can we have multiple medium bags to carry them together instead of one person to carry a big heavy bag. She declined. She stated “ it’s our policy to not give out multiple bags”. After explains why we could not carry a heavy bag and about to have an argument I asked to speak to a manager.We waited over 10 min and the manager refuse to show up. I as well have made a purchase of a blouse and ended up returning it because of my frustration. My extended family wanted to keep their purchase because we spent hours trying on the clothes she bought and did not want to go thur that process again because of arrogant people that treat foreigners with such disrespect.After I returned my item I keep the bag to help with the heavy item.
Macy shop is good but the online shopping is worst. I have bad experience with online shopping. I bought some items from Macys site ot worth $40 and my items not delivered on time. I call everyday till now only once they received my call they put the ticket and i canceled and I said i want back my money theysqidif we are going to sand you crreadit back by mail you dont receive your money back call us again in 7 business days. unfortunately I didnt received my money back by mail. I started call them. but nobody pick my calls I went to macy shop 1 customer service lady call to customer care department i explained and I said its $40 value my staff was and for my money I suffers a lot. she said dont worry I am going to put the ticket and will get back you money soon. I am still waiting and this process is really really horrible. there systems are so pathetic. I lost there trust.horrible company.👎
I love Macys. The quality of clothes available are great bang for the bucks. I have owned Macys card since 2008 and have shopped at this store for all my clothes . Macys has greatly improved online shopping experience, still I shop at the store very often ( and provide healthy competition to Amazon.)
Stood in the Customers Returns line for 30+ minutes (near the front of the line). They had 2 people working behind and they kept prioritizing online pick up over returns. Then I ask an employee where a particular section of the store is and they pointed me in the opposite direction.My wife also asked me to find clothing in a different size for her while she was in the dressing room and I was told I could not drop it off for her because the presence of a male is not allowed...This is already a more expensive store and these kinds of experiences really shouldn’t occur. Perhaps I should just take my money elsewhere.
This Macys location is Woodfield Mall is great. I only come here a couple times a year but enjoy shopping here. My dad and I always come to Macys to stock up on Frango Mints during the holidays; its one of our traditions.Also the home decor and housewares departments are great. On our most recent visit we bought tons of Frango Mints, and I bought a cozy fuzzy blanket, and my dad bought a counter top grill. The cashier was super friendly and she let us know which coupons would save us the most money. That was great.
So I went to this store on a Sunday, then again the following Tuesday. Let me just say theres a night and day difference in terms of organization and overall cleanliness (which I imagine is simply the result of weekend rush vs weekday lull). But overall store is clean and organized.
The worst customer service ever, I bought two pair of sunglasses from Macys (Versace and Tiffany & Co)before the pandemic.one of them was great the other one Is to lose, I took it back to fix it but it’s not fixable and I cannot use it I tried to exchange it but, they told me the 90 days are past!!!!! in a pandemic, I couldn’t return it Anyway, so they was just passing me between customer service and phones calls coming with excuses like managers not Available, so frustrating and unfair. I’ll Never buy any experience item from Macys ever again.
Macys always has lots of deals and coupons. Their prices are fair overall. Now that their member program is open to all customers, I recommend signing up so you get the additional savings. I also have their credit card which offers even more savings. This is a great store in a great location.
I was very upset by the condition of the store. Floor fans were located in various places on the floor. The carpeting was stained and not very clean. It seemed as though there was an over abundance of merchandise. Mostly crammed together and difficult to look thru.I had received coupons in the mail that had so many restrictions. Out of the 4 coupons I received in the mail, I didnt qualify for any discounts. And, the reason I went to Macys was to get some great buys.The sales associate was very young but very knowledgeable and tried to use my coupons but none qualified. She was pleasant anf friendly.I think the coupons were a hook to get me in the store.
Went last Xmas and stood in line for 25 minutes to make my purchase only to find out their system was down and they couldnt take my gift card or charge card. A sign or an announcement stating that cash only would be accepted would have been appropriate. No wonder Macys is going down the drain.
My fiance and I went to regiater and unfortunately the registry department was not open. The woman who usually works in that department, Laura, noticed we were registering and came over to introduce herself. The registry department was not open due to the pandemic, but she went out of her way and above and beyond to assist us. She answered all of our questions and was so awesome with her support. I am so greatful for her help. Weve had a lot of disappointments when it comes to our wedding lately and she gave us one good thing/experience for us to have. I am so greatly appreciative of her and the experience she gave us. Thank you Laura!!!
Post black Friday left this place in a bit of a mess. Going in there with my girlfriend for the first time I didnt know what to expect. Overall, great store! The clothing was not as revealing as I was assuming which made me a very pleased customer knowing that women in my life will be going there.

2022-03-30Was there on a Monday early afternoon to buy a formal evening outfit. They were remodeling 2 of the 3 changing areas. There were about 10 woman trying on outfits. Not 1 person to help in that area. The place was a mess and you couldnt find things. Only 1 person checking people out. Worst Macys I have ever been to. I left and will not go back. Found a great outfit elsewhere.

2022-06-08Nice store but ended up bringing 2 different sized shoes home. I was rushed to get out of the store because it was closing soon and the cashier didnt bother looking either. Im not from the country and needed the travel the next day so I didnt have time to go back to this store to exchange it. Wasnt too impressed about it.

2022-06-16Shoe department is on point with friendly smiling staff. Happy with my purchase, I went to the Macy’s Starbucks to celebrate. The curly-haired man working the counter was very blunt and rude when I made the mistake of asking for something that is out of stock. Two solutions: coach his crabby behaviour or make sure the menu is available
