I received a broken bath bomb in the mail. My friends birthday is right around the corner and to have them mail out another one would have taken too much time. I called the store and the two women were absolutely wonderful. They gave me a new bath bomb, let me keep the old one, and had two bath bombs ready that I asked about over the phone and were wrapped up and ready to be paid for. There was hardly any wait at all. Love Lush!😍
Your standard lush where the staff is very helpful, too helpful if you prefer to browse solo. I personally like the tailored assistance. I come here for their shampoo and conditioner bars which are a fabulous way of going plastic free without compromising the quality. I enjoyed the staffs help of walking me through other plastic free options and telling me more about their recycling programs.
I have a confession - Im a lush Addict.Whenever I go in here I feel like all the employees just want to pamper me and be my best friend - which of course they do because thats the best way to sell their product. But they all are really friendly people.I love to go in here and just smell everything. I dont care about trying the lotions, or getting a bath-bomb, I just want to Smell it all. I will swear by their 9x5 face cleanser, and their soaps are wonderful. I used to buy their shampoo bars, but Ive gone sulfate free and, unfortunately, they have not followed in my footsteps.
Always loved Lush. No matter the location, its always a hell of a store. Ive been to the original locations in England and even the international locations in the US Ive been to fully match up. Which is a testament to the high quality of the company. Their products are definitely expensive, but youre paying for high quality and original items. Bathroom items arent even something Im interested in, but this place always has me interested for a solid 20mins or so. I recommend going for the interesting products and scents. You may even find something you cant resist.
Super helpful and friendly staff!! Julia assisted me in testing various perfumes one by one! The mandated hand washing and Covid policies make me feel a lot safer than anywhere else
I have been underwhelmed by what Lush has to offer every time I walk in there. I keep hearing rave reviews from my friends about their products, but I havent found anything thats had an improvement on the quality of my skin. I love that they use fresh, organic products, but that doesnt mean they will have stuff that will work with your skin. Maybe see if they have samples before you invest in their stuff.
My Grand daughter loves all the pretty bath bombs. The staff is so friendly and helpful, they let her sample some bath bombs which made her day! I will definitely bring her back.
Love LUSH products. I love the work they do and that they are a cruelty-free, almost all vegan company. However, went to the Bucktown location today and wouldve loved to buy something, but the sales person would not leave me alone so I could think for three seconds about what exactly I wanted to get for my friend. Literally pretty much recommended everything in the store (which, then, is pointless) and didnt read my responses to please leave me alone for a minute so I can make a decision. I couldnt look at anything with a moments peace without him drilling me with questions and suggestions. It was so over the top that I walked out. The kid was sweet, but really needs to get a better grasp on the graces of how to sell. Id love to buy a gift for my friend there, but am not looking forward to going back. Yall gotta chill.

My face is super dry after getting out of the shower in the morning. I just wanted something that wouldnt give me acne like the drugstore face lotions. I walked in, was asked by an associate what I was looking for, and walked out maybe five minutes later with what I needed. Ive been using Skin Drink for about 3 weeks and its exactly what I need, a little goes a long way and the scent is very faint. The only downside to this store is that you can smell it from 5 storefronts away. Or maybe that just makes it easier to find from downwind...
There were plenty of employees around to offer help and demonstrations of their spectacular products!!! The line was long do employees started checking people out with portable machines. Very convenient. And I even left with the free samples 👍

Met with a rude employee. Apperantly you’re not allowed to touch the sample products without using their tester popsicle sticks, regardless if the product is capable of being tested with the pop sickle sticks, like the hand jellies. Walked by me, without any eye contact and with total attitude said “don’t stick you finger every where, use a popsicle stick” and walked away. And when another employee asked how I was doing and I told her what happened, she totally ignored me and walked away too. Thankfully ONE of the employees was kind to me and showed me products and help me test them. Ironically employees are allowed to stick their fingers into testers (same exact product i was testing) as long as they are trying to sell to the customer. When I walked up to the cash register to purchase, I was still met with attitude, no eye contact, and short rude comments. Highly disappointed with the employees that night.
Love this place! If you dont like strong smells, dont go in. If you dont love sales people who are a little too talkative, dont go in. Otherwise, brace yourself for a smell experience with amazing bath products. A little on the more expensive side, but so worth it.
Honestly I ADORE lush products. I love visiting their locations because of their amazing staff but this location in particular is one I will not be going to anymore. I understand if it only happened once, Cus hey I work in sales too but THREE TIMES I have walked in & NOBODY ON THE FLOOR ASSISTS ME. Weird right? Its lush! But I am not kidding! I make full eye contact with them and they still wont say anything, I literally have to ask. And then someone else walks in and they like attack them. I am not trying to pull the race card but every time someone Caucasian walked in, while I was in the shop browsing, they go attend them. I have never experienced this at any lush store but it has happened THREE TIMES. I let it go the first time and even the second time, but this was too much. The only reason Im rating this two stars is bc Im a ride or die lushie. I wont give up on the brand bc of a judgmental staff.I never write reviews on anything but I felt like I had to for this location because I never felt more discriminated in my life. Other people may have had different experiences here from what I read, but for me it wasnt good at all.
The products are great and so are the employees, but you dont want to go during the middle of the day when its not busy. They will all descend upon you like hawks trying their damndest to get you to buy more than you want to.
My favorite Lush location in the city. Its usually not super busy and the staff is really thoughtful and helpful. They dont oversell but make sure you find what you need!
My boyfriend loves Lush. He always brings me in to try out different scrubs and stuff. The staff is always friendly and helpful
This is my favorite lush in Chicago. Its tiny, but I feel like the salespeople here are the most friendly and the least pushy. I love the ocean salt face scrub and all the body washes.

2022-04-20I been to many different LUSH locations in my life but by far this location is my favorite! Very friendly and helpful staff, products is always in stock, and over all very clean in the store. The workers deserves a pay lunch!

2018-04-10Im going hiking for about two months and i was looking for a soap to use as shampoo and conditioner at the same time so I stopped by here. As we walked in a lady welcomed us and offered to help. She was knowledgeable about the difference of the products and offered to try and offered other products as well. She also included things that I didnt even think they made like the pills toothpaste. By giving the free samples, it makes me think they know they work. Ill give them a try and most likely will come back and get them.Overall it was a great experience, unfortunately I didnt get the ladys name so I can post it on the review, she didnt give her name and since I didnt take a receipt I dont know either.Either way, thank you.

2020-11-15Our family has been using their beautiful products since our first trip to Toronto in 1997! Dream Cream and Snow Angel are some of our oldies but goodies! Love to see a more kid friendly approach as self care is crucial! Stay off of big pharma skin treatments and let your skin be saved :) My adult children get off the plane and want to run into Lush for their goodies!!!

2022-02-13Rus and Mac - were absolutely AMAZING! I am brand new to Lush and Rus was the first person I saw and he came up to me and asked me to sanitize my hands (which I really appreciated because COVID is real) and then I asked a question about the Henna hair color stuff and told him I had no idea what I was doing and had only heard of Lush for the first time the week before from my doctor (of all people). She gave a raving review about the Henna hair color so I decided I needed to check Lush out and boy am I glad I did. I have now used Lush shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, bar soap, and body wash. I am OBSESSED and will be a lifelong customer and I am telling all of my friends to check you out because I have never used a product so good and your staff has been some of the most amazing, friendly, helpful, and wonderful humans I have met. Thank you for existing and for being a company that gives back and makes a difference - I am OBSESSED with that too:)

2021-12-01I am longtime LUSH consumer. 12+ years. Their products are pricey but always satisfied with the scents and quality of the the products. I ordered and purchased my products online. Pick up was quick and easy. Customer service was great.

2021-12-15Like the store. This last time in I was trying to get a gift for a grab bag at work. They helped me find something in my price range. They also were kind and printed labels for the single bombs I purchased. Helpful employees and great product.

2021-12-14Im a big fan of Lush products but the employees at this location were very invasive and would not let me shop in peace. I dont need three separate employees assisting me within the first two minutes of walking in. Im pretty sure they thought I was going to rob the place as they even had me surrounded at a certain point. Very disappointed in this establishment.

The staff is always friendly & helpful!One suggestion - I was buying bath bombs (7) as a gift (wasnt interested in the gift set) and it would have been nice to have a bag for that bath bomb that had its name/description, little cards that I could place in the bag or just a marker easily available. (Note: the staff gave me a maker and helped my label all my bags!)
