Lifeway installed a wheelchair ramp to our front door. The installers were polite and the job was done in about 2 hours. The ramp components were larger than the estimator/sale person told me, so it didnt quite fit the available space. The installers made some modifications, and I am OK with the end result, although I will be doing some adjusting and tidying up.
Mike helped put together a good package and had it installed in two weeks. Just in time for my friends release from the hospital. Great service and product.
Jose is very competent and fixed my issues in a short time. Nice person.

We are completely pleased with the product, performance and staff. From our very first contact, Mike Cleary explained the operation every step of the way and used no pressure tactics. Both men who came for the installation (believe their names are David and Marco) were competent and polite. It has been a pleasure doing business with you!
The owners are very money and sales driven. They claim family-oriented, but they seem more numbers-oriented. Watch your itemized invoice because if they claim to give you a discount - it will be applied elsewhere. I informed that front desk lady about permit required and she completed ignored it because when they finally scheduled the stairlift install, they had to back track and delay install due to obtaining permit.Equipment is purchased back at like 10% and sold for like 90% of new equipment. Please find a differ place to purchase your equipment.
Thoughtful and professional. He answered all our questions in a friendly manner. He did not rush us and showed us exactly how to use the chair lift. An excellent experience with this installer.
We had them install an elevator around three years ago. The door sticks, we’ve gotten locked in, and it frequently just stops working. We’ve had them come out half a dozen times and not only is it no better, some of their staff have also been rude and unpleasant. We can’t even use the elevator since it’s so unreliable, so we now have a six figure eyesore connected to our house.

EHLS is awesome!I ran into some issues unrelated to EHLS that delayed my getting a Bruno chairlift. From the 1st home-visit to explain the product, to my errors that would’ve resulted in having the lift placed in a bad position, to the tireless efforts of the office staff, & subsequent visits by 2 tech staff, they all had my back. The 2nd tech who installed it (after I asked 1st tech to take it back after he kindly pointed out & explained errors that would have made me very unhappy if I did not listen to & understand his tireless efforts to help me), I now have the right lift for me. I was given lots of time to try it out, ask questions several times, and try it some more. This is my 2nd day. I have used it numerous times. Thanx EHLS, you have made my life easier.
Our experience with EHLS has been excellent. All work and communication was done in a timely and professional manner. The stair lift works great and has made a huge difference for those here with mobility issues.
I would highly recommend EHLS! My mother is 92 years old and was having difficulty getting up the stairs. I didnt know where to begin the search for chair lifts but luckily my first call was to EHLS. My son went with me to their showroom. The sales personnel was very helpful and friendly. Within days they came and installed the chair lift and my mother is more than happy with the results. I hope EHLS realizes the wonderful service they provide to families who are in need of this unique service. Thank you so much for giving me the peace of mind that my mother will not have to climb the stairs ever again. The service is also excellent. The chair started to squeal so they came out and oiled it. I cant say enough good things about this company and their service.
In 2012 EHLS installed a stair lift in my condominium that reaches 3 levels with a continuous track, 2 turns and one chair. They were meticulous in measuring and fabricating this difficult track and made certain it was perfect when it was finished. During installation when they were not satisfied with one piece of the track they replaced it and the system is truly perfect !I recently needed to use my stair lift more frequently and appreciate how well it works and allows me to easily reach all levels in my house.Although it is 7 years after installation I recall being very impressed with the professionalism of everyone involved from measuring, to installation, to recent maintenance. i continue to be extremely satisfied with this stair lift and I recommend that anyone with disabilities who needs modifications to their home should call EHLS for assistance.
The stair lift from EHLS has been very helpful for me. It has allowed me to stay safe in my home for the past 10 years. EHLS service people and technicians have also all been great, especially David and Freddy. If you love your home and want to stay in it for years to come, I highly recommend contacting EHLS for a stair lift.
We were super pleased with their craftsmanship, the speed of services and the responsiveness of Extended Home Living. They had to take out a wall, install a door and build a porch in order to install a wheelchair lift for our daughter. The door looks like it has always been there they did such a good job. The workers that came to our home were very courteous and made sure things were exactly to our liking. They cleaned up after their work like it had never happened.I will use this company for all or future home renovation needs and highly suggest them to anyone looking to modify their home.
Extremely pleased with dealing with EHLS. They were recommended by a home health care nurse KATHY H. who came to our home after my elderly mothers surgery. I called EHLS one day, a supervisor came out the next day.The third day, the entire job was finished in 2 hours. The stairlift was for six stairs which were impossible for my mother to walk up or down to the side entrance of the house. David, the installe,r was excellent: knew his trade was very friendly, explained everything clearly, and was neat during the installation and clean-up. I did not call any other business to get bids on the job.......EHLS was the only group I wanted. I highly recommend them without any reservations

EHLS is by far the very best company I have ever worked with when it comes to handicap accessible bathroom remodeling! Im a disabled individual with ZERO use of my legs. I have been this way for 8 years. My bathroom is small and has never been handicap accessible so I have just had to figure out workarounds. Along comes EHLS...not only did they take my bathroom from being 0% handicap accessible to 100% handicap accessible, they made it drop dead gorgeous! Now this is sometimes hard for a guy to admit, but when they were finished and I was just sitting at the vanity and looking around, I got overwhelmed and started to cry! With the limited amount of space that I had, they somehow enlarged it and made everything just perfect for me! The wokers were awesome and the head contractor, Mark, was here almost every day during the two week process reviewing and going over things with me and Im actually going to miss seeing him almost every day! :-) If you need a remodel of your bathroom to make it handicap accessible, this is BY FAR HANDS DOWN the company to go to! I can promise you that you will not be disappointed with the results. Thank you EHLS for giving me a better quality of life!!!

When we called and said that we needed a chair for our father in a week, they called us back right away and scheduled a time to put the chair in. We had 3 companies give us an estimate for a wheelchair lift for our front porch. The cost estimates were very close, but EHLS was the only company that told us about different options to make sure we got exactly what we needed and where it could be installed. I am pleased to highly recommend EHLS, which provided installation and maintenance of our custom manufactured stairlift. My 90+ year old mother had moved in with our family so that we could care for her. Key issues for me in the selection of a service to install a 275 degree wrapping stairlift were dependability, price, reliability of workmanship, warranty, service, and safety. While EHLS was not the lowest bidder for the contract, they met or exceeded our expectations in all the other areas. We have now been using the stairlift for over five years with no unresolved issues. The price for the value received was excellent.Early on there were some adjustments that needed to be made to the stair lift. EHLS came in a timely manner and made the necessary adjustments at no additional cost to us. They also inspected the stairlift during our warranty maintenance period. After the warranty period ended, I requested EHLS come out to check one component we were concerned about. One of the owners spent considerable time with us at our residence on a Saturday; he reviewed our needs, demonstrated a product we were considering, and provided us with valuable advice. EHLS was hired to convert our existing first floor laundry room into a wheelchair accessible bathroom for our son, and move our laundry room to our basement.From the sales staff, to the installers, to the project manager, we were very happy with their professionalism, flexibility to make the changes that we needed, ideas to enhance the project as we went along, and followup with any concerns we had along the way.
EHLS installed a rollin shower for my daughter and did an amazing job! We could not be happier with the results! My daughter is a quadriplegic and the new shower offered her far more Independence than we ever imagined. The contractor was friendly and courteous. The job took a day and a half. They also cleaned up all of the construction mess. The job also came in for less money than we were quoted. I would definitely recommend Extended Home Living Services for your accessibility remodeling needs.
Not only was EHLS able to operate on an incredibly tight turnaround window (a full incline platform lift installation in under 1 month!), but every single member of their staff treated was as helpful as they were friendly: James, Susana, Sarah, the Erics, Tony, all went above and beyond to make sure that I understood each step of the installation process and had everything I needed in a timely manner. I fully endorse EHLS for any size job and wouldnt trust my grandmothers mobility to anyone else.

We were very unhappy with this company. The elevator they installed has yet to go 2 months without a malfunction. They will take hours to return your call on a weekend, and are very sloppy about informing you when the repair man will show up.In addition, the construction work was sloppy. Getting this company adhere to their contract, fix their mistakes and repair the things they damaged was nearly impossible. Nearly a year after they started the project they still had not finished the punchlist so we gave up.

From initial phone contact, to obtaining pricing (virtually, without the need for home visit) firm pricing with no bait & switch, price included lift, tax, installation, supplies, etc., scheduling for quick installation, and smooth and professional installation by tech (Dave) with 20 years of experience installing stair lifts. Came exactly on time and all done in 2 hrs! Bruno Elan (made in Wisconsin, not China!!) works great, a blessing to me with mobility issues.

2022-08-03Lifeway Mobility visited our home July 2022 making handicap modification to our bathroom and both entranced into our home. Installer Juaquin Macho and assistant displayed both professionalism and a high level of skill during their visits. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. 2021-12-09Job Well Done!Our stair lift was moving slow, made the call to Lifeway Mobility, scheduled for next day. That was a welcome surprise for it to be scheduled so quickly.Our technician arrived at the scheduled time, assessed the situation and made the necessary battery change. He also gave the lift an inspection, made adjustments and added the lubricant to keep the lift running smoothly until the next visit. If only all maintenance issues were handled this way. Very pleased. Thank you

2021-07-12Lifeway did a great job on the install and provided a thorough explanation of how to use the unit, but it was all really simple. Install team was professional and did a great job, even vacuuming up any dust they created. In addition, the scheduler Katie was fantastic - very responsive and moved our date up because they received the unit earlier than expected. Bruno unit they installed is sleek and does not come out far from the wall, making the staircase still very accessible for non-riders.

2022-01-18My 93 yr old Aunt had a little malfunction with her chairlift and I called for maintenance. Sarah worked really hard at getting a repair man out to the house and it was fixed quickly. I so appreciate that they understood my aunts dependency on that chairlift and fixed that problem with a quickness.

2021-07-15We just bought a new house and needed grab bars installed quickly so my son could shower safely. Sarah at Lifeway Mobility was tremendously helpful. She was able to get Jose scheduled to install the grab bars right away for me. Jose was on time, worked quickly, and left the shower as clean as he found it.I would highly recommend Lifeway Mobility.

2021-09-13Called to discuss ramp install for our home, someone picked up phone didnt give a company name or their name, not even sure company is legit, i asked if this was lifeway she answeree yes, i asked to speak with somone about ramps, said that was her. Not a single identifier to know who i was talking with or the right person. i was asked how many stairs, told that its 150 a linear foot, i begain to explain that my front is not straight and that the ramp would need to follow the walk path it cannot go on grass she asked for my address to google map it. i was trying to get a better understanding of process and said someone can come out for quote, i let them know we are in icu daily with son and that they can go measure without us as we cannot be bound to timeframe we have to be in chicago in icu for son stated cant. ok ill move forward with the other company that came out and acted like a real business, supplied good info, answered a phone properly to know who we called. wanted to get a few proper eatimates and lifeway is not one of them.
