2018-01-21Great place to bring family. Friendly people with plenty of paths along the lake. Great fishing lake for bass and pretty good for bluegill, crappie, catfish and carp. The baitfish are slightly undersized in comparison to the last 8 years or so. Stocking of more predator species like the tiger musky are attempting to rehabilitate the fishery. Please catch and release all species which are not permitted to be kept according to the lakes creel limit. Recent landscaping allows for more shore opportunities. Boat/Kayak fishing is a blast, but it is trolling motor only. (dont use the big motor) Overall it is a great fishery to bring the kids and the bass guys.

2021-07-21Its quiet in the morning you can enjoy a walk. Has long paths.Just needs more water fountains , for dogs and people.Great views of the lake.You can fish have picnics.Has a park for small kids to play at.

2021-05-01Lake Sedgwick is also located in Centennial Park which has an aquatic center.It had really nice walking path. They have a dog park but you have to be a member . Plenty of room to fish it has a few Piers and a area where you can put a small boat into the water, kayak rowboat etc. It has a gazebo ,nice walking path a baseball fields ,soccer fields and in the winter it even has an small ice skating rink

2020-07-18Loved It.... Fishing was successful, Atmosphere was great, peaceful, sightseeing and surroundings were great. All while fishing and being peaceful. Will hangout again real soon. I even convinced my sister to join me next time.

2021-06-02Used to be good for fishing. Now, they dont stock it and dont trim the overgrown weeds around the lake. Dead lake

2019-09-21Overall really nice place. We fished for about a half hour and didn’t catch anything. Had a couple bites but then it started pouring rain.

2017-10-22Very nice, man made lake maintained by the Village of Orland Park. There are fish, wax worms work great. Picnic tables and BBQ stands available.

2020-08-14People keep keeping all the fish and the people who own that do not keep restocking the lake so their are no Fish in it.
