My friends and I came in this nail place maybe a half hour before they closed and it honestly was the worst nail experience I have ever had. The second I walked in to this place I was rushed and the lady who was doing my nails rushed and made them look bad. I tried being nice to the lady and she was nothing but rude. Everything the lady told me to do was in a rude and disrespectful tone. The lady continued to rush while doing my nails because she wanted to get out of there. I was picking out my nail color and the lady yelled at me and proceeded to tell me to hurry up. The lady was not gentle while painting my nails or filing them. I am very disappointed and unhappy with this place and how they treat their customers. I highly recommend going somewhere else.
Came in for a no chip pedicure and I would never come back again. I was charged $55 for this service and when I questioned the amount the owner became rude. I looked over the price list that was by the cash register and just as I thought it wasn’t listed there either. The owner became rude and disrespectful. I am not sure about any one else but usually pay that amount for 2 services. First and last time.
Came here for a mani and pedi, being a first time visitor I reviewed the prices to be sure of what I would be paying. Once the service was completed I discovered the prices were out dated and was charged almost double of what I had anticipated. I dont appreciate being lied to....not to mention the mani was incomplete, the technician did not clean my cuticle and left glue on my hands.Very disappointed, wont be coming back here again.
I was there few days ago for the first time, and the way I was treated was just horrible. She was literally yelling at me, rolling her eyes and pulling my hands. I was feeling so uncomfortable, at one point I asked her that why is she so mean to me and that we can stop this with no problem and I can go somewhere else , after few min of arguing she adjusting her attitude and it was just so uncomfortable for the remaining time. I was the only one at the salon that time and I seriously think that the behavior was Abusive. This salon is a nightmare. Don’t go there.
People are leaving bad reviews but I think they’re failing to take their own faults into account here. Show up at a reasonable time, be clear about what you want, and you’ll be taken care of very well by the employees there. The owner works very hard and keeps the place clean.I usually notice that clients come in being incredibly rude and entitled and they take it out on the workers. Probably the same people leaving these reviews. However, all in all, this is a great place, and they do a great job.
Great experience for a no-chip mani and regular pedi. LuLu was extremely sweet! Mani was quick and looks great! Pedi came with the best foot massage I’ve ever had. Extremely accommodating as we didn’t have appointments and she was able to squeeze us in last minute. Definitely will go back!
I walked in and asked if they offer eyebrow services. The lady (im assuming the owner because she was the only one there) told me yes and I requested that she not do my eyebrows thin and I just wanted them touched up and shaped. She told me I know.. I said how do you know how I want my eyebrows and Ive never been here. she was a bit rough and rude. I had to tell her to stop blowing in my face to cool off the wax! She also burped in close proximity to my face! I needed my brows done And I regret going to this place WHOLEheartedly. I will NOT EVER go back. She got mad because I didnt tip! THE NERVE!
Terrible manicures. Called for appts for 2 people, and they ended up taking one of us at a time. Used so many thick layers of polish that 4 hrs later still not dry and smudged. Not to mention owner is rude. Waste of $30...will not be returning.
I love coming to this nail salon! It is clean and my nails are always done very well. They even recently added a lot of colors to their selection. The owner is very kind and I rarely have to wait. I just came here with my bridal party to get our nails done for my wedding and everyone loved it! I would highly recommend this salon!
Awful experience. Manager was snippy and mean to employees. She is the only one to apply nail polish. Other employees worked on nails and then you had to wait for manager. So crabby. Waste of time and money. Felt sorry for employees. Probably should have known better when I walked in at 5p.m. and the shop had only 1 other customer.
I get the dip Manicure and my nails always last at least three weeks! I have gone other places and they always chip. Lulu and Kevin do a great job! The place is very clean! Would definitely recommend!
Amazing job! Loved the color selection and the workers. I got the no chip manicure and it stayed on 3 weeks! I’m a former costumer of mercie nails, and I will never go there again after going to Krazy nails.
The lady that did my nails was sweet but the technician who seemed to run the place was extremely rude. Client spilled a drink and the tech kept yelling at her and walked passed her “eyeballing” her . A different client repeatedly asked her questions and she refused to answer. When I asked her name she asked what the problem was and refused to answer. Totally unprofessional.
They act like they have never seen a black person before. I hate when nail techs act like youve never had this service before therefore they give you subpar service. Quickest pedicure ever she acted like she didnt want to touch my feet. The nail tech piled thick gel on my nails and then got an attitude when I told her how to shape my nails. Then she complained about the top-notch lucky that she got one!
Got the best pedicure in the world from here months ago and I come back every few weeks never disappointed. Punctual, knowledgeable and pleasing each and every time without hiccup!!! I love Krazy Nails and intend to be a long time client!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!
Dont go here unless you want to be made fun of, talked about in their language, and judged.. I had a HORRIBLE experience and will not be returning. Tried to give benefit of doubt, but they just kept it going. From commenting on my appearance, to asking me how old I was sarcastically and wondering if this was my first time getting my nails done since I didnt see their sink and walked right past it, to grabbing my hands aggressively while painting my nails, etc..absolutely ridiculous. They also hovered over me while I was signing for the tip.. Very uncomfortable, wouldn’t suggest to ANYONE.
I love the owner of this place!! I picked a very light color and she did three coats to make sure it turned out right. You can tell she wants her customers to be happy with the work and experience. The first time I came I was only thirty minutes before closing and she still gave me excellent service with a smile. Highly recommend to anyone.
So when I come in for a pedicure and a manicure and you take a client in between my services without even checking with me? I think that is bad business.There is no professionalism here.Pretty sure they dont autoclave anything.If you need a quick fix or are in a jam... Maybe.But if you looking for spa like anything take a pass.
An hour and 15 minutes just to get a French. Not even a manicure just the polish and they weren’t even busy. Someone started off on my nails then left and went and did a pedicure then the owner started working on mine and went back and forth from me and someone else. Literally got treated like some kind of animal. Will never return.
The woman who did my nails was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. She even commented on how yellow my spray tan looked, not once but twice. I will definitely not be going back.
Worst worst nail salon ever and you should know from the name of it because the owner is crazy literally the rudest human I’ve ever had to deal with . She should definitely be shut down because if you can’t respect your customer you shouldn’t run a business
The work here is trash. When I talked to the “manager” about it she was Insisting that my nails where fine... I pointed out everything that was wrong with my nails and she kept screaming at me that they were just “fine”. You DONT scream at your customers! That’s a big no! Save your time and don’t come to this place. Horrible
I was a client of this place for a long time. They keep getting worse. No waiting is great, but there is a reason for that.Some new technique for pedi, using a brush for cuticle removal. Not very effective, let me tell you. Very poor job with color. Hard to color when the cuticles are still there, I guess.Soaking bath are not being properly sanitized, just wiped with used towels to give a clean look. For two hours that I spent there none of the instruments were sanitized. They dont even bother to pretend they are being cleaned.I have to agree with people who are noting technicians being on the phone all the time, talking their language a lot and super loud. The guy was watching TV while putting lotion on me, and more attention is going to some golf game vs. Concentrating on the work. Felt like he trying to make a hole rubbing same spot up to the irritation.
This is by far one of the best nail shops I have been to. My nails and pedicure always come out so perfect. Lulu is Amazing!!! I referred my friend and she goes all the time now. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Very Rude people here. The lady with the GUT who is in charge was nasty to my sister and fell asleep in the middle of doing her nails ! Two other employees were lazy and half doing a pedicure just an overall bad experience. The kicker was the woman before us used a debit card. But we couldn’t use debit or credit and was told to leave state i.ds with the sleepy hippo and go to jewel to get cash.
Love coming here! Everyone is very nice & they do a very good job! I just got a super fun mani-pedi and I love it so much. My hands and feet were so rough and now they feel wonderful. Great place, & will definitely come here again!
Great Service and Terrific job done on my nails! I received a dip powder polish and they have stayed for three weeks without a chip! Will come again
Used to love this place but it’s going downhill. We had an appointment for 4 people for mani/pedi for bridesmaids and there were only 2 people working. We weren’t told and it took double the time making us late for the rehearsal. Poor business practice
I have been to this shop a few times and 2 things remain true. 1. The manager is not friendly, actually rude. 2. There are only 2 people that work there. The last time I went, the manager got upset that I did not tip more. She was completely unprofessional.
Friendly staff . I enjoyed the tangerine pedicure. It did not feel rushed or hurried. I have to say it was one of the most relaxing experiences . Try it for yourself and be your own judge.
The customer service is horrific from the owner to the workers! The time, I was there, they loss four customers due to rudeness. I actually walked out before, my service was completed. The young man who service me threw the tip back at me & he didnt even deserve it. I would not recommend this place to, my enemy.
Horrible service and horrible rude people. I came in to get my acrylics off and she was hurting me and I told her it hurt and she wouldn’t stop and just kept going then I asked where I wash my hands and she told me to look for it myself also she picked up a fight with me when I was paying her never come here again and I don’t recommend going to rude horrible people.

2022-06-17Walk-in. Asked to come back at 2pm. Arrived & requested to just have my nails no chip painted No color change, no manicure or pedicure needed, just paint my nails. I was there for over an hour & then she charged me $55 dollars bc apparently my nails “sag in the middle” making my nails “very difficult to paint”. I laughed in shock but paid her bc I had no energy to argue. Everyone could use an extra few bucks but I mean, come on lady. Her work didn’t even last a week. I asked my next technician about my “saggy nails” & if they were hard to paint, she laughed, I laughed and we just shook our heads! Lesson learned that I will never go there again. Do not recommend.

2022-06-11A very rude welcoming as I entered the establishment. The older woman was hostile and plain ole mean. No wonder why it was only one patron there. I felt unwelcomed and the need to leave, so I left. Best decision I ever made. Should of read MOST of the bad reviews.

2021-07-17First came in about a month ago and only because they were the only nail place in Palos that were taking walk ins, so thought I would give them a try. I had acrylic nails on that I wanted taken off and then asked for a no chip manicure. The man who was doing that seemed to be new, which is not a problem, but it seemed like I was the first time he’s ever painted nails. The shape was horrible extremely crooked and not even at all. Then the paint job was absolutely horrible. Not to mention, I was in a time crunch and this took nearly two hours. So, when I was leaving the manager asked to see and said they looked horrible and were unacceptable. To make up for it, she made me pay and gave a gift card for next time. I was happy she did something, but also how are you going to make a customer pay for something that is “unacceptable.”. Not to mention, the polish chipped and was peeling off not even two days later. So, I went in last week really only because I had that gift card to spend and on the website it says they close at 8 and I even called to make sure. I got there at about 6:40 to get a pedicure and dip. The pedicure was pretty good! However, then I waited until about 7:30 for someone to start my nails. She was rushing the lady next to me to get to me. So, when she finally got to me for my dip manicure, absolutely no manicure involved. She did not cut any cuticles, barely shaped my nails. It was absolutely horrible. First, I went through 3 colors before she said that they have it. Again, it was the most rushed nail service I had ever gotten. I understand that it was close to their closing time, but then they shouldn’t have said that they could take me in the first place. She told me that the dip should last two weeks and it didn’t even last 5 days. I will literally never be back to this place and advise you to stay away from it.

2021-12-02Manicure was ok, although the “no-chip” polish started chipping days later. The worst part of my experience, however, was the woman doing my nails. She was rude and wildly unprofessional. She kept trying to get me to pay her with cash or through zelle, and when I said I only had a credit card to pay (there is a sign at the front that says they accept credit cards) she gave me the cold shoulder and even started making fun of my guest at one point. Also, she did not use clean water to soak my nails.

2021-12-12I have used this business in the past and I was pleased with the service. I went on a Sunday afternoon before 4:30 and was told they would not be able to do my feet because she had something to do. The advertisement on line said they close at 5. She said they closed oat 4: 30 on Sundays. I will never come back there again.

2021-02-11(If you are black/African American, I would recommend American Nails 122nd Cicero... they will treat you good.) because Krazy Nails has Krazy staff and don’t think two black people could afford a manicure and pedicure. Lucky for them no one touched me.

2019-07-08Will not be going back to that place to get my nails done. I went in for a fill in and no chip pedicure. I sat down on the chair for a pedicure and the water was hot. Instead of turning on the cold water, the lady accidentally turned the hot one on and burned my foot. I complained about it to her and she didnt even apologize for it. Another worker then proceeded to do my pedicure and started doing regular polish instead of no chip after I have said I wanted no chip. When it was time for my fill in, she was on her phone for about a minute while i sat there and waited for her to start my manicure. Then she started to remove the old acrylic nails with a sharp instrument and kept poking my real nail, my nails hurt after she was done. I ended up getting dip powder nails instead because she suggested it and because it was faster. The total for a simple no chip pedicure and manicure was $100 which, in my opinion, is overpriced for the work that was done. I could have gotten way better nails at a different salon for a cheaper price. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

2019-04-08I came in to get my old manicure taken off and to get a full set of acrylic. In the middle of my manicure a new customer came in and the lady that was working on me stopped what she was doing with me and started working on the new customers pedicure, leaving me just sitting there. Then finally when they came back to finish my manicure the lady was so aggressive she pulled my hand every which way. She had an attitude and they charge you for every little thing They charge you extra to shape the nail, they charge you extra if you want it a quarter of an inch longer, its ridiculous! There are a lot of better places out here never coming back would not recommend. I wanted long nails and she had the nerve to ask me HOW OLD I WAS! THEYRE SO RUDE!!! I even overheard her telling another customer out loud about the tip she received like it wasnt enough.Tips are earned lady! The workers are always on their phones. Not a good place. I didnt bother to tip. Just wont return.
