So dumb to put Amazon returns in the back of store. Not good for people with mobility issues. Then to staff it with one person. May have to look at other options for returns.
The shelves in the cosmetic /jewelry area were COMPLETELY empt I dont know if the were remodeling or rearranging or what, but, it was pretty frustrating because I wasnt able to find what I was looking for

Came here to do an Amazon return and they gave me a discount coupon which was a nice surprise. Ended up picking up some things at a great price. Staff were really friendly and overall store looked great. They do push getting their credit card at check out but very politely. I realize they do the coupon thing all the time but as I didnt have one, getting it with the Amazon return saved me some money without using a Kohls credit card.
Did not find pants I was looking for. Saw them on line but not in store. Dressing rooms still closed so had to purchase other items and took home to try on. Now have to go back to return the items that do not fit. It almost seemed there was more clearance merchandise than new merchandise. Clearance prices were still to high.
I love this full service Kohls. I wish we had one this size in Galesburg.
Their Kohls cash program is great. It helps out when you are buying gifts during the holidays. The staff have great customer service in my experience.
Its a great store to buy clothes for everyone in the family. Kohls Cash is a great addition, but it expires quickly. The only complaint I have is that I wish their return policy was better. It used to be nice and flexible, but now its a pain to get an even exchange because it has to be from the same section (ex. Womens, mens, etc), the same brand, and the exact same price (they dont accept a lower price either). During Christmas time and popular times they have a great selection, but any other time it is scarce.
My experience was great! Everyone working there has a wonderful attitude and they always help me find the thins I need. I found everything for my dog that suffers from allergies and i was so shocked on the results also I love your face whipes and shirts. You cant get these items and clothing anywhere else but here! Kohls has the best customer service and have had for many years , really ever since they opened there! I love their products, prices and they really hire the right employees! Ive never had a problem taking something back or exchanging it. They go out of their way to make sure youre satisfied customer. Unless that changes they will always have my business!

Shopped here towards the beginning of the pandemic. Filled out a survey after shopping there. Said I didnt like how they only had four dots spaced six feet apart when they were far busier than only having four people in line.Three weeks later, I shopped there again. They had enough socially distanced dots to accommodate the crowd. Now, I dont know if my comment had a direct effect on their policy, but it seemed as if they listened to my comments.One of the few companies to pay attention to public safety and health when its most important.

The store was clean and there was a nice selection of clothing and some household goods (bedding, dishes, etc.). The holiday selection was limited. There was not a lot of parking. Their shopping carts are ridiculous little hamper-like things. All that fit into my cart was a single pillow. The carts are flimsy and junky. Despite an abundance of employees, both check out lanes were stopped for merchandise that wouldnt ring up and other employees watched the line get longer. I was only two people back yet waited almost 20 minutes to get checked out where the cashier wouldnt take no for an answer on applying for credit. I told her no seven times. Prices are generally high for fair quality goods.
Shannon and Jenn saved me %45 on my entire bill. Watches, clothes, belts, shoes, socks! The whole 9 yards. These ladies went above and beyond to find me a coupon and even put an extra 15% on top of that! These women saved me a TON OF MONEY! I offered to buy them lunch and even offered to give them my Kohl’s cash, they wouldn’t do it. Recently made 5 trips to Kohls each time 25 or more people waiting in line with only 4 registers open each time. Numerous employees standing up front in area of registers chatting. Please appreciate and value your customers and being allowed to be open and value their loyalty. Someone in upper management at Kohls is not paying attention
Customer service desktops always staffed with good people. Store is easy to get through the isles, organized, and its easy to find merchandise. The dressing rooms are always picked up. If you cant find in store they will order it for you with free shipping. I e been ordering online and picking up in store which is the best way to go for me!!
Kohls cash, what a scam.... cashier was as friendly as a python and not helpful at all, I wish I had gotten her name.
I like to shop at Kohls......but I get easily annoyed and often leave because the store is so crowded with merchandise ( and sometimes lots of shoppers too!) making it difficult to maneuver & find what Im looking for. Its close to the holidays & I get that, tonights visit included stacks of boxes in the aisles to stock, racks super close together & store pretty messy. But I did get 7 bath towels, 4 face cloths and a decorative holiday towel for under $15 with my coupons & $20 ,Kohls cash so score!
I am very cheap/frugal, but I dont have time for Goodwill anymore due to kids. Kohls is a good place to get in and out with what I need. The coupons, sales, and Kohls cash are ridiculous. If you pay more than 30%, youre doing it wrong. Note: Im a dad who doesnt care about fashion, so I really cant help you there.
After being in the store for over 30 minutes an employee third to tell my daughter and I we had to leave because we were not wearing masks. Some people have medical conditions and some have personal convictions. But the truth is I had more chance of getting sick from touching something that was just touched by a sick person who did not wash their hands than from breathing when 6 feet away from someone.

Yesterday, March 14, 2021, went to Kohls in Willow Knolls to purchase a Caphalon 12 inch frypan that was in sale for $49.00.Their regular price was $69.99. When finally getting to a cashier, after waiting 25 minutes in line, as out of 12 registers they have only a few, the cashier said that the only way I can purchase that certain Sale item was if I get a Kohls credit card, which it did not say anywhere online or in the ad, I refused and left it with the lady at register #1.My wife and I went to Lowes to retrieve a item, my wife says she wanted to run into TJ maxx for a second, more like a 1/2 hour! Upon finding what she was seeking she checked out the pots and pans, found the exact same pan as Kohls, a Caphalon 12 oil infused frypan for the amount of$24.99, a regular price of $69.99!!!!!!Kohls has lost my business now, and before we buy we will check TJ maxx, F &F, and Target which you wont be pressured into another credit card scam!!

On day shift there is a wonderful female manager. Dont know her name but she is always polite, willing to help and is always busy when I see her. If someone is waiting in line, she will open a register and help. Ive even seen her putting items back where they belong. I wish I knew her name. She is the reason I gave Kohls in Peoria five stars. There is one other thing. Your app is awful. It never works right when I try to use it. My daughter has the same issue. Can you please check into that?
Good place to shop if you are looking for clothes. They carry other items as well but their clothing is the best value. The cashiers are always very pleasant and helpful.
I used to shop at this store all the time but I think after my recent experiences im done . First 3 times I placed an order online and then two days later my item is no longer available and refund me my moneyThen in the store shoes are in the wrong boxes and the clearance tags are attached to the wrong shoe so you think ur getting a discount and ur not.
Kohls is a decent department store. Its one of the few I will go to in person. Love the yellow tags. I am appreciate that they accept returns for Amazon. Pretty handy and gets me into Kohls when I wouldnt otherwise.
Its confusing. The staff is nice. The store looks like a garbage truck dumped a load of clothes in the middle of the floor. Its filthy. And the sales... Yeah watch out. Most items are not on sale. You can do better elsewhere. Or come in and trip over clothes thrown on the ground.
I found everything I needed quickly and easily. I went to pay and gave the cashier my yes2rewards phone number. She told me I would get the points added. I checked my receipt and it did not show. I had to wait in line at customer service to have it returned and rebought. I was told I didnt receive the points the first time.
Worst experience with customer service desk..Picked up online order and the girl was extremely rude and threw my order on the counter. She did not put any of it in a bag. Who does that? Ridiculous behavior!
Great selection and I love their clearance racks. Went there today for a generic white shirt, and found something really comfortable and nice for 50% off. Love it!
Good collections. However, today Friday afternoon most racks in the mens section appeared unorganized - and some as if they were ransacked! The store organization must be improved.
I was needing help finding a shirt, and I saw a lady. Said “ma’am” about 4 times then yelled it, she looked back at me and sped walked away. I’m needing a shirt for work so I sadly had to buy one I found that will do that job for today, but definitely won’t be coming back to the Peoria Kohls.
Kohls is a great place to shop for clothes especially when they have big markdowns and are getting rid of stock. Whenever Im looking for a piece of jewelry for my wife this is also another good place to go. The reason they have survived where stores like Sears and JC Penney may be struggling is because they regularly give large discounts on their products and this keeps customers coming through their doors.
Their prices are a little high. They usually have coupons though. You can find some good deals on clearance. Staff is usually nice.
I havent been there for awhile because of illness. But I found you still have good sales and I will be back. We live in Canton but we come to Peoria often for my Doctor appts. Everyone was very courteous and polite! I will be back! Thank you!
Went there looking for bathroom essentials for my daughters college apartment (towels, shower curtain, matching rug and essentials) but was disappointed with the selection
Cleanest Kohls Ive been to between Illinois and Iowa. Nice selection of adult and childrens clothes. My only problem was that, I had a question about my Kohls credit account and they couldnt help me with anything accept taking a payment. They couldnt tell me the due date, amount owed, credit available, etc.
I actually worked here during the holidays years ago; seeing behind the scenes, I can say that the management really does a good job of keeping the staff engaged and attentive. From a customers perspective, I think Kohls is typically kep pretty neat, and staff is friendly. The mens clothing is generic enough that its not tough to find something at least close to what youre looking for.
I really love Kohls but there exchange policy is crazy. I had gotten my husband 3 shirts that were on sale for $29.99 with my 30% off. I received $20.00 Kohls cash and yes to you rewards. The 30% ended Sunday. Monday we washed one of the shirts and it shrunk so I took them back. I found 3 other shirts that were on sale for $29.99. I couldnt do an exchange because they werent originally $54.00. There was nothing in the store for $54.00 to do an exchange. I lost $20.00 in Kohls cash and yes to you rewards Im not sure yet. They need to let you exchange sale price for sale price. Thats crazy.
Returned and exchanged a shirt that was bought in Joliet no problem whatsoever i suggest this is the place everybody go to buy your clothes in Peoria , especially right now theyre below half price especially in the mens department really good deals right at this moment because of the transition between summer and winter somehow they managed to skip fall! thats just a retail deal staff was very knowledgeable very efficient very friendly 😁
Good for a last minute gift, but most items I checked in the housewares, and toy department were much cheaper on Amazon. I would recommend checking prices online while you are shopping, to see if you are truly getting a good deal. The staff I encountered was friendly however.
Visited on black friday, only had to wait 30 minutes to check out. The lines incredibly long yet the staff very very fast and friendly! Usually not a fan of the store but they won me over.

Im not thrilled with how pushy the cashiers can be with credit, I get thats a thing now, but when I say no ,thats the end of the conversation, dont say but you can save,blah blah blah, I said no, dont speak to me any further about it. Just give me a total, my change, and have a nice day.. people really need a crash course on etiquette.. I was hot leaving there
The young girl that worked on Sunday at the return counter with glasses and a nose ring was a true professional. She handled herself perfectly with her customer service. Some of the worst experience Ive ever had. I have worked in retail since I was 16 and Ive never seen such terrible service. What makes this such a terrible experience is the fact the woman that we were dealing with was the manager. All we we trying to do is swap out a Fitbit, so honestly just drive the extra mile and go to East Peoria store or shes going to yell at you!

They have good sales going on right now. Store is clean and not cluttered. Cashier was a very nice lady!
Understaffed, or everyone is on break. Need to reorganize staff. Wait to check out zero, wait for customer service including online pick-up 4 deep, then when I left 7 deep. 2 cashiers at check out just standing, looking at customers in service line. Couldnt one of them be trained un both areas? Terrible. And upgrade the computer system, couldnt find an order that was sitting on the shelf!
They have really cleaned up this store and have plenty of cashier lines open in both checkout and in returns. Also, have a lot of new clothes items in stock.
I prefer the EP store. Racks are rarely straightened. Shelves are frequently unfolded. Long lines. Staff seem nice enough.
Pricing without sales is very high. I only shop here with a coupon and/or % off coupon. If you have a Discover card, check your deals portal for a free $10 off $30 purchase every month. If you load through the Kohls app, it gives you an immediate $10 Kohls cash to use without having to spend $30. Some people have said you can use the code online and in-store, but I have not tried that.
Always a good place to shop as the store has a lot of choices from Male and Female clothing to kids toys and house accessories. Sometimes the clothing department can get a little untidy.
Kohls can be expensive but you can find really good deals on the clearance racks. They have times when you can earn Kohls cash and redeem it on your purchases which I have done many times. They also have pretty good additional coupons that are online and in the mail. Everyone loves to save money!
Was looking for 1 particular item and the salespeople that were busy stocking shelves went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for. Thats a very rare occurrence at other stores.
I really like Kohls, however this place is often in disarray. I spend way to much time searching for the Levis I want. Have yet to encounter a friendly person working here. People with walkie talkies always rushing past the shoppers. Really seems chaotic

Very fast checkout times. There doesnt seem to be a lot of sales people roaming the floors, but if you come out to the main aisles you can usually find someone.

Tried to use a 25% off coupon with no noted exceptions and was told it wasnt valid toward any Nike merchandise. If that is the case then it should be noted on the coupon clearly. Very disappointed and may not go back for some time. In my opinion thats false advertising!! This was at the East Peoria store but Im assuming its all over.

Nice selection although it could be larger. Kohls is what I would call a mid-level retailer. That is, better than Wal-Mart or Target but not as upscale as Macys or Bergners. They have decent, intermediate level clothing. You can find good deals on shoes, particularly Nike brand. The Apartment 9 and Sonoma mens shirts represent a good value. The prices are competitive and there are frequent sales and store rewards such as Kohls Cash which can be redeemed for merchandise.
I love shopping at Kohls only gave it a 3-star had a return to take back part of it was Kohls cash guess what you dont get credit back on that terrible whoever came up with that idea to get you a lurer in the store because youre a good customer for spending money the only if you ever have to take back you lose that credit instead of getting Kohls cash back for the next purchase pretty bum deal if you ask me the near last I love shopping there

I used to live in Peoria so Ive shopped Kohls there lots of times. My only complaint is the cost of, what i call, costume jewelry. It is too expensive for the metal its made from. It loses its color over time and not a long time for the price. True of all Kohls stores.

Good selection, decent prices. Biggest problem is in advertising some small electronic items or housewares, very few available & gone/not available even late on day 1 of sale, and even unavailable at other stores or unline.
This is NOT a store for big men. The aisles are cluttered & many I could not get down sideways even. Prices are inflated; wont go back! Too many other places to shop.

I loved the sales that went on and the items choices but when I got to the check out the lady who checked me out was very slow like she was doing it on purpose I work retail and I was appalled then I got home and found a security tag still on a jacket I bought and you would think scanning one item a minute she would have caught that and taken it off Im very frustrated with the service I got because the nearest kohls is a 30 minute drive to get a security tag off

2022-02-27Just left the Peoria, IL store after a terrible customer service experience. I went to buy a mirror but there was no tag on it. Cashier told me to go back to the mirror department for help. After about 20 more minutes and two employees and myself all using phones to try and find the mirror on the Kohl’s website with no luck, I was told “Sorry, we will take the mirror because we can’t help you.”What?! I was willing to pay whatever price they told me but instead they wanted the mirror back. Thanks for wasting 30 minutes of my time.

2021-12-28Well stocked, well organized and more than enough cashiers to get everyone out the door. It was a delight to shop here for Christmas.I find that they carry a very select, most popular shoes from a number of lines. If you are looking for the latest Nike, Adias, Sketchers or other shoes look here as well. We found the latest Cloudfoam shoes here, on sale when everywhere else they were not in stock or sold out.
