Dr. Willey and all the staff in this office are a super professional and very friendly. They get you in and out of appointment quick and always willing to help out. The mouth guard made in the office works great and has helped resolve my sleep apnea. Im thankful for their services!

Everyone that works here is great at their jobs. From scheduling, insurance, and the nurses all the way up to the doctor himself. They understand pain and sleep disorders. They are also good with kids.
Everyone is so helpful. Very little time spent waiting. Although it took a long time to resolve my TMJ symptoms, they got it done and helped me get off my APAP machine also. Woohoo!

I am starting Invisalign treatments. Every visit has been pleasant and informative. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentists chair. The staff are amazing, especially Jessica. And for someone with anxiety they are very good at keeping me comfortable and relaxed. I definitely recommend!
I was warmly greeted and immediately processed in. 7 minute wait. Personally escorted by Karen to a patient room. Her preparations for the doctor were flawless. Dr. Willey was thorough and corrected all issues. Jessica also came in for device modification and did excellent work. All were professional and friendly. Id recommend them to anyone with sleep issues.
I am so thankful that I got referred to Koala and Dr. Wiley! Upon entering the office, the staff was welcoming and explained what to expect during my first appointment. Everyone that I saw was so friendly, took time to get to know me and the reason I was there, and explained all possible steps that might take place during that appointment. Dr. Willeys background interview, assessment, and patient education was superior. He explained things in ways that were understandable to me, and took time to answer my questions. He spent a generous amount of time with me and made sure I was an active participant in making decisions about my plan. Tina, made me feel at ease and explained what Dr. Willey would do before he entered the room. Abbey was amazing at contacting insurance and answering all of my questions about my plan. She did not pressure me to make decisions right away, and that was very much appreciated! Natalie explained all of the steps for my fitting, and she made me feel at ease. I went from significant pain, to being pain free In less than one week with the appliance to realign my jaw.Dr Willey and staff were attentive and professional.I would highly recommend Dr Willey.
Dr. Willey is very knowledgeable and explains in laymans terms what is happening with your jaw. He dictates a detailed exam to the nurse of your jaw measurements. After the first visit, I have hope of alleviating my jaw pain
I highly recommend Dr. Willey if you are seeking natural relief from your TMJ symptoms!!I experienced headaches every day for months, ringing in the ears, jaw pain, and neck/shoulder pain. I spent some time researching TMJ disorders and ways to treat them. I must admit I was a little skeptical about using a mouthpiece. It seemed too simple. I was prescribed many medications, but felt no relief from any of them. After talking with Dr. Willey and his staff they thoroughly explained what I was experiencing and how he could help. Dr. Willey and his staff are so friendly and make sure that you have everything that you need and go above and beyond to show courtesy and help along the way! Dr. Willey is a miracle worker! At my consultation he told me that even without a sleep study he was pretty sure that I had sleep apnea as well as severe TMJ Disorder! I went and had a sleep study done and lo and behold I have a mild form of sleep apnea! Within a few weeks my jaw was feeling better than it had ever felt before and I was on my way to not having jaw pain for the first time in my life (I had been a chronic teeth grinder at night since I was a child and still am) Now with these appliances I wake up feeling refreshed and dont have jaw pain any longer!! Take every frustration you have had about medical care... feeling rushed, ignored, brushed off, confused, frustrated, anxious... and know that this office is exactly the opposite. When I walked in the door, I felt genuinely welcome and as though the staff enjoys helping their patients. When I left, I felt genuinely grateful to have been there and excited to pursue the next steps of my treatment. The doctor was incredibly thorough in educating me as to why and how my issues were happening, how one situation could lead to a dozen others, and how specifically he was going to help me have relief. If you even suspect you might have issues with apnea or tmd, please be good to yourself and let these wonderful people help you.
I had a bit of a rough time with orthodontics when I was younger, so I was a bit apprehensive about the molds that I needed taken for my new TMJ treatment. JESSICA walked and talked me through the entire process. She made me feel as comfortable as possible and got everything done in one try. After that, she had me relax and got me scheduled for pickup. 😊 Hope she’s my impression shaman every time.
I started working at Koala Center in November 2019.I fell in love with Koala instantly, the employees are so welcoming and Dr. Willey is a amazing and understanding!!He understood everything I was telling him about my symptoms!Here is my story I would wake up in the morning with headache and just in a lot of pain where Ibuprofen wouldn’t even do the help.My Primary doctor put me on a antidepressant medication to try to help ease my headaches it worked for short period of time and then it just stopped working!Dr. Willey then diagnosed me with TMJ I currently have the oral appliance and I love it very much and I don’t wake up with headaches at all don’t have them through out the day!!I have not taking Ibuprofen in 3 weeksI’m and very happy with the appliance!!Thank you KOALA CENTER!!Lexy Forbes Reichard
Great!!! I appreciate the whole staff and Dr Willey, they treat you like family!!! It’s like back in the “Old Days” 😊 when the doctor did house calls! Only it’s his office; which the ambience/atmosphere is sooooo soothing and therapeutic!! They encourage you to ask any questions or concerns. Encourage you to call for any problems with the oral mouth piece you may have. They are the BEST!!! You will not be disappointed. Everybody is treated equally... how do I know? I have had my share of doctors in my lifetime. Believe me, I have a discerning spirit, I know compassionate people. The EYES 👁👁 are the gateway to the soul!!😇
I was having headaches 4-5 times a week and constant ear aches. I went to my doctor, ENT, and finally to see Dr. Willey. Changed my life in less than two months. My headaches disappeared as did my earaches. The staff is great and really cares about the patients. I cant imagine not having my mouth piece now. Highly recommend.
At first, I was very fearful to go because I was unsure of my diagnosis. I arrived to friendly receptionist. This made me feel welcome. I was promptly taken back to wait for the doctor. This center doesn’t feel like a traditional doctor’s office. The decor was calming because of the couch and soft chairs. This lessened my anxiety tremendously. Ive had such a good experiences here! The staff is all so friendly Ive never felt out of place or uncomfortable. I have been treated for TMD and have gotten great results, symptoms of headaches, jaw pain, neck pain and fatigue. Amazing the relief I have gotten with Dr. Willeys treatment plan and TMD appliance. My appliance beats the c-pap by far! I was claustrophobic, mask very uncomfortable, and I kept waking up. My appliance fits perfectly, and Dr. Wiley is so knowledgable about correcting my bite, and adjusting the appliance. Without a doubt, the best way to sleep!
The experience was very warm and inviting from the get go! The front desk staff were super nice and helpful. The waiting room is very comfortable to help you feel welcome and relaxed. I have been dealing with TMJ for many years and have finally found relief naturally. I highly recommend this practice for your TMJ issues. After years of migraines, neck pain, and ear infections I was finally referred to Dr. Willey by an ENT. He diagnosed me with TMD and within a few months of getting my appliance I felt so much better. Ive been wearing it every night for a couple of years now and remain completely symptom free. I even sleep better because Im not waking myself up grinding my teeth every night. Its amazing how something as simple as having a mis-aligned jaw can effect your entire body and overall health. Dr. Willey and his staff are all extremely caring and take the time to educate and listen to their patients.
Twenty years of using a C-Pap machine for severe sleep apnea and never feeling rested. Using the oral appliance along with the C-pap has given me back restful sleep. Thank you Dr. Willey and staff for helping my sleep problem. Very knowledgeable and caring staff.
I have had snoring problems according to my wife (it never bothered me at night, I slept right through it, ha-ha) but went to see Dr. Willey and he took my dental impression and fixed me up with an appliance by the next day and made sure I knew how to use and adjust it before I left the office. Great work, caring attitude. Couldnt be better.
I have been going to Koala Center for awhile now. And I can honestly say that it is a pleasant experience every time. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and Dr. Willey is excellent. It is amazing how quickly you can have pain relief. I recommend them highly for TMD issues.
You need a team of professionals to deal with TMJ issues. The TMJ Association recommends you get a firm diagnosis before this type of treatment, preferably an MRI. Self-help is always the first step as there are at least a few different causes of TMJ dysfunction. TMJ treatment methods are still controversial and mostly unproven, especially oral appliances. However, the methods used here are some of the more accepted methods and generally reversible if needed. I like the facility and the doctor (seems active in the community, knowledgeable, good listener and apparent integrity) (most staff seem good), although the sales team made comments that were absolutely false and essentially tried to trick me into believing I was getting a deal. They also made some basic math mistakes on the paperwork. I like this place in ways, but be sure to double check everything, do your research, and of course never commit to any treatment or financial obligation without sleeping on it first. Good luck, don’t trust professionals just because they wear a lab coat. Remember the Milgram experiment?P.S.-((I think the sales approach could be improved to not seem like a sale at all))((also would like to see how treatment is evaluated empirically))
I have been undergoing treatment at Koala Center for Sleep Disorders in Dunlap IL for just over a month and I can not say enough GREAT things about Dr. Willey and his staff. They have FOREVER changed my life. 2 years ago in August I became very ill and was not sure what had happened to me. I had spent countless hours on the floor from being dizzy and just unable to function. I have three young children and being sick just isnt an option when you are a mom. I searched and searched and went from doctor to doctor to specialist to specialist unable to find out what was wrong with me. I had underwent several tests and procedure most of them unnecessary until one day I stumbled across Dr. Willeys office. I was actually looking for information on the internet for my daughter who has troubles falling asleep at night and found out about Koala. I had sought out other treatment for TMD through Jack Walz but treatment was unsuccessful. I had spent thousands of dollars on treatment through that office and was pretty upset that it was another failed avenue. Once I had called Koala office to see about becoming a possible patient the staff there got me in the NEXT DAY!!!! I regret not finding them sooner. Within one week of treatment I had saw a 50% improvement in my symptoms and I am able to function as a mother again which means the world to my children. I am not sure what would of happened had I not found out about this office. I do have to thank my family for helping me pay expenses for making this all happen and I can not thank Dr. Willey and his staff enough for all the help they have done so far and continue to do. If you or someone you know is suffering from TMD issues or just unsure what is going on but you are suffering I highly recommend giving this office a call. They have saved my life and I am forever grateful. I have had the opportunity while I was in their office to visit with others and hear there success stories and it gave me hope. I seriously cant thank Dr. Willey enough he has been so caring and helpful and it has only been a month of treatment but WOW what a world of difference!!!! YOU ALL DESERVE A RAISE!!!! I got a referral. I didnt even know I had it until Dr. Willy gave me the brochure and I had several symptoms of TMJ. Dr. Willy and staff including Tina and the other gal are awesome! For several years I fought with sinus pain, pressure, and headaches. After visiting an ear, nose, and throat doctor, I ended up having a balloon sinuplasty and felt relief for several months. After having reoccurring sinus pressure, ear pressure/heating loss, and sinus headaches I headed back to my ENT doctor. I explained that I had been using a sinus rinse, nasal steroid, and almost everything else recommend to reduce sinus issues. The ENT doctor informed me that my symptoms were because of a condition called TMJ, and referred me to the Koala Center. It has been a month since receiving my TMJ appliance, and I am happy to report that I am nearly symptom free! Highly recommend.
Going to the doctor is never fun. Everything about this center seems to be designed to put you at ease. Each staff member was thorough and the doctor was not only caring but took time to explain And make sure you understood. I would highly recommend this place for any TMJ or sleep disorder problems.
I first met Dr. Willey and the rest of his team at The Koala Center for Sleep Disorders in Peoria, IL four years ago. When I was having problems with continual fatigue, jaw and neck pain along with uncontrollable weight gain. After being evaluated by Dr. Willey I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and TMD. I was fitted with two oral appliances, one to be worn during the night to correct my sleep apnea, and a second appliance I wear during the day to help reposition and align my jaw to relieve my TMD pain.My sleep apnea and TMD has improved. I no longer have sleep apnea symptoms. I continue to wear my night appliance nightly and only need to wear my TMD appliance when Im stressed or overly tired. After my sleep apnea and TMD became under control my weight gain stopped but I was unable to loose weight no matter what I tried .This past April when I saw Dr. Willey he told me about The MetaLife Weight Management Program that Koala Center for Sleep Disorders in Peoria, IL is offering. The program starts out with lab work, an evaluation done on the InBody Machine that measures Weight, BMI, Skeletal Muscle Mass, Body Fat Mass to name a few, after all this information was collected I had a consultation with the Program Coordinator. We discussed all the test results, my short and long term goals, what I hoped to get out of the program and what the program offered me.In the first 12 weeks of being on the MetaLife Weight Management Program I lost 25 pounds and 19.5 inches. Each week I attend a one hour class which includes weighing in on the InBody, private counseling and reviewing of the current InBody results and weekly journal.Classes also include sharing cooking ideas and recipes, better eating habits and how to make better food choices.As of September 1, 2017 (20 weeks into the program) I have lost 36 pounds. Dr. Willey and staff are life changers! Years (decades, really) of debilitating headaches (among other symptoms) that were attributed to sinus issues and migraines, treated with round after round of antibiotics, steroids, every allergy med on the market, and ibuprofen by the handful seem to have finally come to an end with the diagnosis of and treatment for TMD. After only two weeks with the appliance, on a dreary and drizzly day like today when I would usually have a rager in my skull... there is no pain. At all.
Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Willey works with you to make sure you are getting the best out of your device. Im sleeping 100 percent better than prior to obtaining my device.
Completely focused on money instead of helping people. I went in with TMJ pain and was diagnosed with sleep apnea as well as numerous jaw displacement issues that dont align with any of the symptoms I mentioned. I was quoted over $6000 dollars for treatment, with the caveat that I would probably need to go to an orthodontist anyway to get my jaw fixed. Went to the orthodontist, paid $100 dollars, and got a retainer that fixed all of my TMJ issues. Do yourself a favor, talk to an orthodontist first and see what they can do for you. The appointment is normally free, unlike the $165 fee that Koala charges you.

Hello i have sleep apnea. i try use a cpap mask over mouth and nose. It did not work for me. So i Went to Dr willey, a koala sleep center.So i got a mouth piece that wear to bed every nite. I sleep seven hours every nite.I do not snore no more. I lose 68 pounds two half years.
Dr. Willey and his staff provided excellent care. There was a very short wait before being called to an exam room. The staff was very caring and curtious.
Dr. Willey has always treated me right and has only ever helped me, a good man and a great Doctor. There is no one I trust more with my dental/ sleep needs!

2022-04-15The staff were so friendly from the front desk to everyone I encountered there. The nurse I had was so knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining a lot to me before I even saw the doctor.This is a very efficient and friendly staff they have put together. 2022-05-17My TMD appliance has made such a huge difference for my health. My jaw does not hurt to chew, headaches dissipated and so did my neck pain. I cannot be without it. I highly recommend and I have severe Fibromyalgia and DDD. This helps!!!

2021-11-03The doc and his staff are seriously the most amazing people. I have dealt with neck pain and headaches for about 6 years now...decided to come here to get more help because none of my other doctors have been helpful. My case is pretty bad, but the doctor has not stopped to make me feel better. He listens, and you can tell he truly cares if I get better. Ive been seeing him for maybe a year now, and he still doesnt give up on me. Him and his staff deserve the world. I appreciate them more than they will ever know.

2021-11-06I have a sleep device created by Dr. Willey at the Koala Center for Sleep Disorders in Peoria, IL, and it has completely stopped me from snoring. The device is covered by Medicare (I am over 65) and by my supplemental insurance. It is worn in your mouth and does not involve the sleep apnea devices I used in the past (mine were recalled by Phillips because it was causing cancer, and I had all kinds of problems with my machine and have had a lot of tests. ). So, this is a Godsend. I heartily recommend this place. I worked with Jessica, and she is well-qualified, friendly, and treated me with respect and courtesy. Their entire staff is terrific as well as Dr. Willey.

Kelly, Tina, Katie, Rachel, Dr. Willey and so many more were so helpful to me every single visit. 2021-12-02Dr. Willey has changed my life. I’ve struggled with feeling tired for 20 years. I also had chronic neck and shoulder pain and spent thousands of dollars at the chiropractor over that same 20 years. Little did I know I had sleep apnea! When I finally found out last December I knew right away that I wasn’t interested in a CPAP. I went to Dr. Willey and not only did he help fit me for an oral device for sleep apnea, he also diagnosed me with TMJ and gave me an oral appliance to use during the day for that! The combination of the two has been life-changing. I have not seen a chiropractor in a year and I finally know what it feels like to wake up rested. No more naps for me! So grateful🙏🏻
