Amazing customer service!! Staff is always friendly and polite. Even though this is an older location, the staff makes sure the lobby and rest rooms are clean and tidy. Just a heads up, you do have to ask for your condiments when you order. Sporks and napkins are also kept behind the counter. They often operate with a limited staff, so if it gets busy, there will be about a 5 minute wait. As for the other reviews, if you are thinking you are going to get a $10 sit down dinner for $5, you indeed have come to the wrong place. However, any issues you may have, they will accommodate you. Likely with a cheerful demeanor and a smile 😃
Terrible terrible customer service. Was stuck at the drive through for 10 minutes and keep saying hello and they would reply with a nasty attitude and kept me waiting. I was the only person in the drive through and there was no cars in the parking lot. I got my food and got home realized my order was completely wrong and when I drove back they tried telling me it was my fault. The attitude from the employees is disgusting. I wish I could rate 0 stars but that is not possible so I give you a 1
Cant believe this place is still in business.. literally not one employee seems to know how to read, serve customers, or even pack a bag properly. Just an absolute joke for food service. Wish google allowed zero stars because this place for sure deserves it. Slow, rude, and the food aint even close to worth it. Cant wait to see this place close down
Went through drive thru and never had my order taken. I had to pull around..park..and go inside to order. Bathroom was very unkempt. The dining room was lacking when it comes to cleanliness. While my order was being taken I was put off by the workers cussing and complaining. Customers should NEVER hear this! Prices are outrageous now and with that we as customers should never have to deal with an unkept dining room and definitely should never hear unprofessional banter. Either they change or I dont look for this location to last much longer!
Wow this is bad (11th street). The first time we tried going through the drive thru about 2 months ago there was an employee standing outside around the back and said they were closed. It was 7:30. The listed closing time on both Google and KFCs website is 9. I didnt understand it but okay.Last month we went back to try again and the drive thru line is almost to the street and theres an employee standing around outside and I hear loud voices laughing and yelling inside but at least they arent closed an hour and a half early. It takes almost an hour to finally get our food but of course since they are so busy we couldnt order the specific combination of chicken we wanted. Regardless, it didnt taste bad and the coleslaw and potatoes were good so thats fine.Last night we go again at 7pm get there about 7:10. Two employees sitting around outside tell us first we closin in 20 minutes and then say the machines broke. Why in that order and why they are sitting around if they are closing in nearly half an hour (as if that matters for a drive thru) I dont know. It was at this point I realized that they are just very lazy and just dont want to work at night -- at dinner time. If not that, they must be extremely incompetent workers and either way need to be fired.After 6pm really consider if its worth coming here. After 7, dont even bother.
I dont know the names of 2 ladies that serviced me today at this 11th street location, but l will tell your what, they have some of the best customer service skills in the fast food industry. The way I ordered my food is the way I received it, and it was good and fresh. I havent eaten at KFC in a long time, and these ladies make me want to start back on a regular... 5 stars to you ladies..
Food was very good once got it, ordered ahead online when went to pick up indoor closed drive thru only, they tried turn me away not taking anymore orders. I replied I order online and already paid, response was please pull around, at window they again tried to not serve the food saying will be 30 min wait. Again i stated i already paid so will have to wait..... was asked to pull to side to wait for food once got food without ordered drink was informed they were out of pepsi and had to choose new drink.. again ordered online ahead of time 25 mins before i arrived since i live in stillman valley and KFC is in rockford. Online confirmation stated order to be ready 5mins after was placed..... an hour later i recieved my familys food. They are lucky it got 3 stars but the food was good.
Busy but sometimes so busy they run Out of Chicken! Can you believe that?Anyways. 🍗 KFC used to be on top of it. Now... Theyre basically out of Everything, coleslaw, chicken, POTATO WEDGES *( Thats a hard one to get over, like the wedges were a Must! And now never again)The Landscaping makes it look like theyre Closing for good......And you repeat yourself to many times to place your order... and then it just takes FOREVER to get the food, if your lucky enough to get that far.........and make sure you ✔ your bag, because they didnt give me everything we ordered! ( and paid for)The food is good, it just needs some help in everything else.
Arrived at 5:40pm, no exterior lights on, including sign & menu. Waited 25 minutes between line & cook time. Arrived home to find missing part of order. Tried to call, no answer. Still not angry, I get they were swamped..... drive back. At this point, I go from understanding to angry as were spoken to as if were in the wrong. The cashier, who was not the same polite gentleman we had dealt with 20 minutes prior, was beyond rude & short. Never even apologized. Didnt replace anything but the sandwich they missed. So I got to eat a cold dinner too. Finally home with the correct whole meal just over an hour after we arrived.
Currently in the process of moving & stopped to get something to eat at this location through the drive in the rain. Pulled up to the speaker & didnt get greeted so had to drive away & saw employees congregating in the drive thru area at the window. I work in the restaurant industry myself so I know first hand what its like now more than ever and do not appreciate getting bad service anywhere.
Ordered $20 bucket, but was refused when I asked to swap one mashed potato for French fries. Was told I could BUY an order of fries, but it is against store policy to swap items on special promotions except:A) Special $20 Bucket Promotion has been going on for yearsB) In all those years have never been refused fries - though this was my first (and last) visit to this locationc) As I sat at home eating my chicken, I saw a commercial for KFC advertising fries with the $20 bucket.PS. Only went to this KFC location because first one I stopped at was OUT OF CHICKEN AGAIN! Maybe they are busier because they offer french fries. No idea why it was even open, just to send away car after car. KFC is failing.
I waited about 15 minutes wanting to try the new chicken sandwich, by the time I got it my lunch was over😡 I am a pharmacy technician at Walgreens down the street! the person handed me the food didn’t say thank you and on top of that there were no Napkins and it was cold!
Sent my husband with a list, to get 2, $20.00 fill ups, with green beans, 1 extra gravy and 4 lg popcorn chicken. What I received was 1 fill up, with sides, 4 popcorn chicken and we did get the extra gravy. However, apparently I paid for the second fill up, but did not get it. No receipt in the bags, so no way to argue about it! So, somebody had free $20.00 dollar dinner on me today! Hope they enjoyed it! So sick of this location being run and staffed by the most rude and incompetent people. Understand it is in a bad neighborhood, but you would think that would just make the company try harder to make it a good place and better experience for patrons. There are now only two locations in rockford. Guess no more KFC for us anymore. Usually spend about $40-$50 each trip. Guess Popeyes will now get that money several times a month from now on! So frustrated and disappointed!
We placed an order to be delivered on 11-09-21. At the last minute without any explanation my order was canceled by the store. They charged my card for the order and told me it would be refunded in 5 to 7 days. The money was finally put back in my account today, 11-16-21 that is complete BULL SHIT…
My wife likes the chicken or I would never go here. Last 2 times I was there they screwed up my order. The first time I ordered the 10 for 10 and only received 8 pieces. The last time, I ordered a 12 piece chicken only with 4 biscuits and was charged for a full meal. Gave her the receipt and repeated the order. Got the 12 pieces but she forgot the biscuits. Finally got it right the 3rd time. Of course if they paid better wages they might get better employees. You get what you pay for and for what they charge for a meal Im sure they can afford to pay a better wage.
Waste of money that could been spent else where getting something cheaper n better tasting. Sad how kfc has gone downhill the last few years. My son didnt even get what he wanted and the sandwich i had to wait for wasnt even cooked fully and cold soggy frys... been better if we went to a kwik star n got food
This is by far the slowest restaurant I have ever been to. The staff is not only rude but they don’t listen. I have been in the drive thru for over 20 mins and I’m just getting near the window now. They made me wait at the speaking for about 5 mins before taking my order. I won’t be coming here again.
I Just order from this location I ordered a 20 dollar fill up with Mac and cheese instead of Cole slaw and breasts in stead of thighs they got none of my changes right and they didnt give me a Receipt for my purchase. I have had problems in the past with this location but with a call and a receipt they would make good next time I came in I have tried to call and no one is answering the phone. So next time I will just go to Popeyes.
3/26/2020 waited in line at the drive through, got to the speaker for a females voice to tell me We are closed, we close at 8 oclockI pull around to the side of the building to exit, just to see the vehicles that were in front of me stopped at the window to get their orders.Looked at my cell phone to see the time was only 7:40.That says a lot about the character of this franchise.
We ordered online pickup. When we went to pick up the food, 40 minutes later it was not done or even started on. When finally given the 60 dollars worth of food we had ordered, we drove 20 minutes back home only to discover about 20 dollars worth of food was missing. This is so unfortunate since the family loves kfc. The biscuits were so doughy and the gravy was so runny. Oh yeah, when someone orders chicken, how about give more than just cold hard crumbs? Colonel Sanders is probably doing backflips in his grave with the amount of effort these people give for their job.
I’ve never been to a KFC before, but on the advice of my coworkers I tried it for the first time today. It was absolutely foul. Greasy, soggy, foul chicken is what I got. I’m sure if a chain is this big, it must have been good at some point.... But the food I got today was literally disgusting. It was just so soggy and greasy....
This KFC is a joke.Do NOT go here.Drive through will take 15 minutes on a good day.It takes a good 4 minutes before someone speaks to you on the intercom to take your order. I go here every Wednesday to pick up lunch for a couple of people i work with. Not anymore. Lemonade was hot. Chicken was cold & tasted funky. Not to mention it made me sick. I made it told me to come to the restaurant I went to the order they said they didnt have it available and that I would have to 25 minutes because there was an Uber Eats meal coming and they needed the chicken for that as I sat there waiting to other cars came behind me and they were able to serve them with their meals immediately he gets wanted me to wait and wait and wait and wait and then the end didnt even give him my order
Really bad customer service i had at this location. Chicken was old. I when to this location last night 12/5/2018 at about 8:10pm the lobby was already closed when the hours said till 9pm. So we go through the drive thru. Waited about 6 minutes till the customer on the speaker got tired of waiting and took off. I pulled up and had to wait about 5 minutes until somebody came to the speaker. I ordered and when i got to the window to pay the workers where just standing around talking about the car that just pulled off. The girl gave me my total i paid the food. I got my change back with no receipt. Then i got my food i asked for condiments. The girl didt even say thank you have a great night nothing. I got home and the chicken looked looked and tasted old. Even the mac and cheese was just room temperature. So my husband got on the phone and called the store and the girl that answer the phone told him he was lying. My husband got upset and just hung up the phone. Thats not how a store manager shouldve handle the situation. Theres no reason we have to lie about some old nasty chicken. I was willing to waist my gas and take them back the chicken. I will never go back to that location. They always close before the schedule time.
If you go there after 6pm, chances are you wont be able to get original recipe chicken. You will be told there isnt any and that youll have to wait 16 minutes for original to be cooked. This happened to me 3 times in 2 weeks the recent being last night! This kfc is the worst one in rockford! They play too much on company time, dont listen to what youre ordering, making you repeat at least twice then still get the order wrong and dont have food half the time. They closed the wrong KFC restaurants in our area!
Was treated like i was a pan handler. Tried to complain to manager but she wouldnt even talk to me. I called the district manager at auburn street KFC, put him on speaker phone , he told me to go back in talk to manager at 11th street KFC. As soon as I walk in there the whole place start screaming at me to leave , district manager is on speakerphone so I know he heres this. I ask for manager , she comes up yelling at me so I say your district manager told me to come back in here and talk to you, she says I dont wanna talk to you and I say but your district manager is on speaker phone he told me to talk to you. Her attitude changed quick, she asks me can I use your phone to talk to him, i said hell no. So he tells her to give me a free meal which I turned down because I was afraid what they would do to my food. When I was outside leaving after the district manager supposedly settled things , the whole staff with no name tags on are out in the parking lot trying to argue with me still. Big lady manager was very unprofessional. I called 1 800 number made formal complaint. Doubt if they do anything. Used to go there few times a week mostly with my grandson.
The worst KFC I have ever been to (and that is saying a lot). The town I used to live in had their KFC shut down due to ignoring health codes (poor management) but the service was OK and the food was occasionally good. There are no redeeming qualities for this restaurant.
We ordered food on line and they shorted us 13 ft ollars worth of food. The order was not ready after using the internet and my 70 year old husband had to wait40 minutes. Returning home we discovered we were shorted there dollars worth of food and returned with the internet receipt. They again didnt complete our order.We ordered 3 mashed potatoes and 3 graveys. 4 biscuits, 8 piece chicken, 1 coleslaw, 3 pop corn chicken.We received1 mashed potatoes 1 gravy. 2 biscuits 8 piece chicken 1 Cole slaw.I think your employees are keeping the money. Food wasnt bad...but the drinks had been sitting for a while and were flat and watered down!! We tried to call and found out the phone number on the receipt was wrong...and we called the correct number off and on for over an hour...no answer! If you go to the KFC on 11th Street...dont leave the window before you check the order.....and the drinks! 😐😐😐
Got the order wrong AGAIN. Returned the wrong order and they actually accused us of eating part of the order, since it was missing items. At this restaurant the customer is NOT RIGHT and the workers claim to not make mistakes. they sent us home with cold food and missing items. They took my receipt so they think I cant complain to their management. They are wrong. I will contact the management through contacting the Health Department.
Always great food , just make sure it made right and everything in the bag is put in the bag right! My sauce was all over everything . Had that gold sauce on everything. It was a big ass mess and the forgot some of my things and some how after my husband used his bank card they we had some het his number and send over $ 300 on yoga pants and stuff! So be safe . They can just walk by your car when they swipe the card and get the numbers out bank traces it back to them and it got spent in Miami beach. Hope they caught the guy that did it! But ya KFC lovin it!
The service was outstanding all the employees all had a smile on their face and was very happy to help and answer questions the only thing is is we have to drive out of our way to go to a Kentucky Fried Chicken we had one on the east side of Rockford but it was inside a parking lot evidently Sears bought the property and they were only given two weeks to move out and has not reopened I hope they will find something and reopen another Kentucky Fried Chicken on the Eastside of Rockford we only have three restaurants in this area and this is a huge area because its not just Rockford you have Loves Park Roscoe Rockton and Rockford well and also Pecatonica and Winnebago so its a wide area there are many more little cities or towns around those are just a few we definitely need one at least on the east side the food was great we enjoyed sitting inside and eating
Very good, I felt with a girl named , I think, Demetrius, at the window, close to closing, about 930 + pm, she was exceptional!!!! This was about 4 - 5 days ago, on approx May 4th or so, she is a keeper, very kind, and handles problems like a pro, this was the KFC on 11th street, between Sandahallow st and Harrison st in Rockford, Illinois. They serve smashed potatoes wedges , and soft moochy crispy chicken , going through the drive thru ,they have gotten my order wrong both times, never again will I go to this kfc . serves is very slow and no one smile , not very polite,, this place gets alot of bad reviews,Fire everyone and hire new people including the manager.11th St restaurant
For some reason this kfc never has chicken ready they make me what ever time I come here its a chicken restaurant why the chicken not ready seriously. Apparently Im not the only one the employees having hard time serving chicken to and I work outside in the heat why are these people so hateful in here the AC is kicking in here saddest customer service I ever got
KFC saved my life I was there on a Monday and i ordered chicken wings and I was in a rush to go to work so I had to eat fast and I havent had anything to eat since Saturday so I was really hungry and when I was eating the wings one got caught in my throught and one of the employees came and did the himelick maneuver on me and he saved my life.
They made us pull into a parking spot to wait for our food then when they brought it out informed us they were out of biscuits so they have us extra Cole slaw they didnt ask what we would want in place of the biscuits they just took it upon themselvesto give us the side that we didnt want in the first place then they forgot our drinks so again we had to wait when they finally brought them out they were pure carbonation no flavor it was disgusting plus our food was ice cold we wont go there ever again

2022-03-12This KFC is an okay place to stop for lunch or dinner. The prices have dramatically increased since my previous visit but thats no problem because everything is higher priced now.I went into store to place my order and get it to go around 1:30 pm on a Friday. The lobby was fairly clean but there was so room for improvement. The floors were in need of some attention and Im not referring to the normal mess that customers drag in with their shoes.They did have some plastic barriers at the cash 💸 registers. They have signs up that claim you must wear a mask but a couple of workers didnt have them on and neither did I. Maybe they forgot to take them down 😆Thank you for taking the time to read reviews on Google maps, I pray 🙏 that this post might be helpful to many people and if you are one of them please hit the like button for me. 2022-04-13Ordered though the app for a 6pm pickup. You have to go through the drive through to pick up, making you wonder what is the advantage of the app. Got to the window and was told they were waiting on the Mac and cheese and could I park and they’d bring it out to me. Waited 38 minutes more before they finally brought the food out. When they brought it out it was a “here’s your order”, no “thank you”, no “sorry for your wait”. Leaving the parking lot I saw several employees gathered around some cars. Maybe that explains the wait - it’s hard to cook chicken from the parking lot. Got home and found my 12 piece dinner only had 10 pieces. Clearly they are math challenged as well as customer service challenged as well as honesty challenged. I just deleted the KFC app and won’t be back. Ever.

2022-02-19Did not receive my whole order. Food Was stale and called for over 45 minutes. No, answer. The mashed potatoes were old and spoiled. I’m not sure what they are doing at this location. But I believe health inspector should pay more attention to this location. Extremely unhappy.

2022-02-16So ghetto and they never get your order right. I genuinely have health code violation concerns about this place. My boyfriend and I went through the drive thru once and we asked for 6 biscuits (we also had an online order that they “couldn’t” find, even tho we had the order number on our phone and wouldn’t take it) and they told us it’s gonna be a 20 minute wait. We said ok, we’ll wait because we called their bluff. Sure enough, they had our 6 biscuits in 5 minutes! Just absolute laziness. And half of our order was missing as well. Never go here!

2022-03-02Please read.I got lunch here 02/28/22... yall I got hit with food poisoning within 40 minutes after eating here.... from 2pm until 6am. I was puking nonstop ....so bad that I had Petechiae *which is blood vessels around my eyes popped* Im pretty sure I threw up a crayon I ate when I was 2. But to be serious it was the worst night of my 29 years... sitting on a toliet holding a bucket 10/10 dont recommend...... I thought about going to the ER.. it was brutal!!!!! ... Ill never eat at another KFC in my life... be careful people.... these bad reviews aint here for nothing!!!!!

2022-03-22The manager taking our order was rude,she said that when you order the 12pc with 3 sides we should know that it automatically comes with two mash potatoes. Not once did I every have someone assume thats what I wanted and get an attitude bc I want to know what our choices were for the sides.Chicken was soggy not crispy and fresh. The meat tasted hard and dry. The honey was so thick it barely came out of the package. Then when my husband had told her she was rude when he ordered our food she told him good that made her even more happier.CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS UNBELIEVABLY RUDE AND GHETTO AND THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING MY DOG WOULDNT EVEN EAT IT. 2020-07-04I normally go there often for lunch.Last two times weren’t the greatest. Unfortunately I am not able to post the photo of my current and last experience.I ordered a Louisiana Hot Strips and the amount of grease and old bread crumbs that were in my container I would’ve r-fried, and breaded more chicken. Definitely a heartache. It’s already bad food for us. Why kill me even faster?The previous order was burnt, and dry. 🤦🏽♀️Edit- I figured out how to post photos. (Most of the food was removed to see the grease.)

2021-12-17Rude girl at the window was in the middle of asking if they had honey for the biscuits and she shut the drive through mid sentence knowing we were talking this girl for identification of the employee for the store manager (if they even care) was on crutches seemed irritated for no reason. Don’t know what was the issue but hope her day gets better.

2021-12-24Garbage service. Ordered 3 sides of mashed potatoes and gravy, received 4 cups of gravy and one mash potatoe. Ordered 3 sides of fries received 1. Ordered 5 drinks and received 4. Tried to call for over 20 minutes until someone finally answered to tell me they were closed....at 8pm......and they could not do anything for me. The amount of effort that went into making my food is not worth the minimum wages from the 80s. This will be the last time i order from this location. Popeyes seems like the better option more and more each day. Please close this location and use the money at another location. The workers take no pride in their work and dont really seem to care that it shows.
