2019-06-12The tour guide did a great job of explaining the history of the house and the Jarrot family, who built it and are still around today. The house is beautiful on the inside and provides a window into French Cahokia. It has been renovated in phases and still needs to have a little more work done, but it is definitely worthwhile to visit. Go to their website to schedule a tour if interested.

2020-07-09Great slice of history of the French colonial period in early Illinois prior to Illinois becoming part of the United States. Tour guide was very informative and insightful. Worth your time to stop in and take the tour if it is open. Youll be glad that you stopped here.

2019-08-30Great if you can get James at the Courthouse to give you a tour. Be sure to visit church next door built in 1799.
