I normally dont write reviews about car dealerships. Its a rarity to find one that understands service doesnt end with just one sale. But one great sale can buy a lifetime of loyalty and in this day and age you can buy your car anywhere. I recently bought a used 2016 Range Rover Sport from Jaguar Land Rover of Schaumburg. BUT the reason I bought was the salesman I have bought both Jags and Range Rovers from over the years. CHRIS PETERSON is the #1 reason you go to Schaumburg. He understands exactly what the customer expects and does his job without the usual 3 hour dealer visit and arm wrestle. Not only did I get a great automobile but more importantly I got the usual best, most attentive and responsive service and have for many years with Chris. I will say I am new to Schaumburg Land Rover because of Chris recent arrival. The whole team shares his enthusiasm to please the customer. LR Schaumburg gets my business because of my loyalty to a superior salesman and the whole dealership wins high marks for their efforts.
Just bought my new vehicle from Jaguar Schaumburg and what a delight the whole experience was. When you are making a big purchase, you want it to be a great experience and this was as good as it gets. The dealership is part of the Motorwerks family and as soon as I was introduced to Chris Peterson, I was easy and comfortable with the conversation. He not only owns and drives the product himself, but he is also an expert on all things Jaguar-Land Rover. I really appreciated his expertise and complete transparency over the cost and value of the vehicle too - I knew I was getting a deal. There was no pressure to sell - I wanted to buy. I bought an F-Type, a two-seater, and Chris let Regina and I take these $100,000 cars for test drives on our own which was frankly a wonderful way to interact with the vehicle on our own terms. So Chris guided me and then James Russo elegantly navigated the financing for me, helping with concessions along the way. What more could I ask? Im excited for the new Defender too and when it comes out in March 2020, Ill be asking for the team of Chris Peterson and James Russo at Jaguar Land Rover Schaumburg to take care of me... and I know they will. And Chris, thank you so much for the generous and unexpected post-purchase gift. Really classy. Keep doing what you are doing guys and you will delight many more customers to come.
I visited Jaguar of Schaumburg to look at the Mercedes GLC that they had listed. Walking inside the dealership, I was excited because I had liked the vehicle. However, upon entering the Jaguar of Schaumburg, I received the worst customer service ever! I was racially profiled due to what I was wearing and my age. I understand that this is a luxury car dealership, but judging someone based on how they look and are dressed is horrible, especially within a business such as this. I currently own current luxury vehicles. Yet, I was in the market to expand. I worked with Chris Peterson. Chris Peterson is a horrible salesperson. I was not greeted. He didnt offer any refreshments. He didnt make me feel welcome to where I felt this was the dealership for me. Chris Peterson was busy and bouncing back between myself and other customers, which I had never had a salesman do. I asked for assistance from another salesman who could be seen just walking back and forward in the showroom. He refused and stated, he was busy. However, there was only one other customer and me within the showroom. Morally, he refused to help me.When it came time to explain the functions of the car, Chris Peterson handed me a piece of paper without going over in detail as to what options the vehicle carries. Jaguar Schaumburg was the most unpleasant experience at a dealership; I had ever experienced. Today, April 28th, I revisited the dealership, only this time with my husband, I wanted to see if he received the same vibe, I did. Instantly, he felt a lack of customer service and profiling. The showroom was empty, not a customer in sight besides my husband and I. Not one sales associate greeted us. When Chris Peterson finally did approach me, after 10 minutes of me waiting for someone to help me. He seemed confused and uncertain if he could help. He stated he was with another customer, but no one else was in the showroom. I requested to have someone else help me with my purchase, after 15 minutes of waiting around, I walked up to a sales associate asking for help. Only for him to ask me who I was here to see. My husband and I had become so irritated that my husband said, lets leave. My husband knew that I was interested in the car still. Resulting, my husband requests the sales manager before we moved out of the dealership. He expressed his concerns with the customer service, and my husband also being a manager of a dealership understanding that customer service is the most important thing. I feel as if I went into this dealership with an open mind and wanting to buy a vehicle to not even being able to purchase the vehicle based on how I felt and was treated during the process. I was profiled! I was not treated fairly! I was not greeted! I did not feel as if this dealership deserved my cash offer or even wanted to make the sale based on how they saw me, a young African American woman, dressed in sweats; I was treated as a customer who can afford a luxury car. Here I am not able to purchase the vehicle due to this companys sales associate racial profiling and own ignorance.
Great car buying experience with the Jaguar team at Schaumburg. From the initial online interactions to the close of the sale, all personnel were professional and focused on my shopping experience. Patrick L and James R did a great job on presenting the benefits of purchasing a Jaguar as well as financing options to keep it all within reason. Thank you for a great vehicle and sales process.
I purchased my vehicle here due to their promise for great customer service especially when it comes to servicing vehicles. I took my Jaguar for the annual maintenance in November 2018, 11 months after purchase. When I got to the dealer, I was told that the Free Annual Maintenance had to be done within one month of the purchase date. So, I rescheduled for the following month and requested a loaner vehicle. When I git there today, I was told that the loaner vehicle assigned to me was not returned by the current driver and therefore, no loaner vehicle was available for me. So, I had to wait for 2 hours for my annual maintenance at the shop and yo put icing on the cake, when given my receipt for the service, it falsely states that I was provided a Land Rover Vehicle as alternative transportation while vehicle was serviced. Why would they do this? Very disappointed, and clearly not truthful. I might just have to find an alternative dealer. I did not purchase a Luxury Vehicle whose price included extraordinary service to get a regular vehicle type service. The Service Consultant, Kyle was kind and apologetic but unfortunately, the service did not meet the promised expectations.
Bought an “inspected” vehicle only to get it home to find a massive oil leak that will be well over $5000 to fix at a shop and undriveable until it is. Speaks of their character as a business and quality of workmanship. Luxury dealership doesn’t mean quality. Watch yourself or better yet, shop elsewhere.
My experience of purchasing a vehicle with Patrick L. @ motorwerks Land Rover has been beyond Expectations. Patrick and the whole staff have been wonderful to work with. No typical car salesman gimmicks just straight and to the point. The only reason I stopped into this dealership is because of Patrick. I had met him a year ago while my jaguar was getting serviced. Left a great impression and I was glad to go to him first and I ended up purchasing the vehicle!
Frank was great! He helped me trade in my Mercedes to get my new F-Pace. The sales manager as well as Ralph the finance manager made my transaction quick and effortless. They even stayed extra late past closing to get it done so I would have to drive back in from the city. Elvis was very informed about my vehicle, the options and how to use them. Thanks guys for providing excellent service!
All the work team at Land Rover Hoffman States is simply excellent, since you walk in the door they receive you very kindly. Darren Little the sales consultant was amazing, he has a patience and dedication that absolutely helped us in everything. The managers, the lady, the guys are the maximum. It was a great experience at Land Rover Schaumburg. Staff was very welcoming in greeting us, especially Patrick Lecinski showed us different models and price ranges. He was quite patient in answering our questions & explaining details although it crossed the closing time. Overall it was great experience buying Range Rover with Schaumburg Land Rover. Definitely recommend it.

Patrick L. was a fantastic salesperson. My wife Leanne and I were treated exceptionally well. There was no pressure. We test drove 3 different cars (2 Face pace and Velar). I would wholeheartedly recommend Patrick to anyone looking for a a Jaguar or Land Rover. When I am ready for a new vehicle I may change from BMW to Jaguar! BTW the Finance Manager was equally pleasant and professional as was Elvus in showing us the features of the SUV.
I purchased a 2016 Land Rover LR4 from this dealership through Client Advisor Lev Akdemir and it was one of the smoothest experiences of any car I have ever purchased. He’s a solid guy and I would definitely purchase another vehicle through him in the future if I had the choice.

David was the reason we came back to Motorwerks to buy our F-Pace. He is efficient, professional and very knowledgeable about his products. He also shows concern for your time. Would definitely recommend him and the dealership to anyone purchasing a Jaguar or Land Rover product!
Updated after 1 Year.Purchased a 2017 Jaguar F Type in the beginning of 2018, while the salesman Jon was extremely helpful many areas of this dealer dropped the ball. Keep in mind during this review, the dealership is 70 minutes from my home.I mentioned several times that I wanted vanity plates but not once did they offer to go through that process with me, instead I was given basic plates and had to wait until the DMV received the paperwork from the dealership to purchase new ones.When purchasing and picking up the vehicle, I requested they take their dealer branding off. They left huge gashes on the bumper where the branding was located. After calling, they offered to split the cost of repainting the bumper....First trip back to fix the bumper, wheel rash on several wheels, broken trim piece in the trunk, and rattling speakers. When I picked up the car at the end of the week, they fixed the bumper, MISSED a wheel, did NOT fix the trunk piece, and told me theres nothing wrong with the speakers (theres obvious rattling and static that shouldnt have existed in any car). They eventually discovered an update available to the audio system after I pressed the issue. Im highly disappointed in the willingness of the dealership to find a solution.Second trip back for problems they were suppose to solve the first time. Additionally, I was given two key fobs for the car but one was missing the physical key (in case the battery dies) and they would not replace it out of a courtesy for my troubles.I was not told the latest maintenance on the car and had no clue when to service the vehicle. Not to mention if you want a loaner car you have to wait weeks before one is available.Theyve missed some finance paperwork as well.Update: After leaving the review above and receiving the comment below, they reached out to me to solve the remainder of my problems including a free oil change and physical key with the stipulation I remove my review. That speaks for itself.I would not recommend this dealership to friends or family due to the lack of attention to detail and willingness to go that extra mile. I wish I had purchased my vehicle from a different dealership knowing my money went to this dealership and not the one thats provided exceptional service.A year of ownership with this car has been fantastic. I now service the car at a local dealership that goes above and beyond. Always informative and my service is done correctly and promptly.
Very impressed with the sales team here. Found a Jaguar on line. David response almost immediately to my request and answered every question. When I arrived to look at the car it was cleaned up and parked out front ready to test drive. The process was quick and the team was awesome. The car was full of gas and looking like new when I arrived to pick it up. I will definitely look to purchase my next car here. Thank you! I love my Jag!
Very bad unprofessional serviceI purchased a car BACK IN JANUARY and I took it for this dealer to have it inspected and unfortunately they did a terrible job.the dealership did not perform a proper car inspection, they missed to diagnose an obvious oil leak and they never performed an OBD scan, tires were not diagnosed properly.they only reported very obvious things like a non functioning light or other silly obvious things, but they never did a proper DEALER QUALITY inspection.it was a very not professional inspection that missed a lot of obvious things.SHAME ON YOU.
This will be the second car my wife and I buy from Land Rover Schaumburg and I’m sure won’t be our last. Jon Hert, Darren Little, and Raul Tomsa were absolutely great and the dealer is lucky to have such a team of people. Overall wonderful experience both times and excited for the next.
The service department was pathetic. I took the car numerous times to fix simple things, it came back with the same issues, they lost the car when they were doing touch up work on the body, The vehicle was returned to me with an additional 60 miles on it and an extremely poor quality touch up. After 5 visits and a grease stained interior from sloppy work and the initial problems not resolved. I took the mechanical issues to another dealer.I tried to resolve damage to the hood with the manager John Nelson who offered to repaint the hood but wanted me to bring the car into the service department again, He did not seem to understand how horrible my treatment and how careless the treatment of my car was.He ignored my requests to have me take it to a body shop myself so I could avoid his dealership. I had such a horrible experience at the dealership it ruined the fun of my XJ purchase and cost me time and money.
I love my beautiful jaguar. The whole process and employees at Hoffman estates jaguar were really phenomenal. Its was such a stress free experience. I will be purchasing my next vehicle with them.David kominszki was a wonderful salesperson. Made ordering and customizing my car stress free.And he was very knowlegable about all the cars. I highly recommend him.
Service staff is totally incompetent, took my jag which is still under warranty had under 2,000 miles and they wouldn’t even do any service and suggest I pay for this.. either don’t buy a Jag or find a better place really didn’t expect this from a high end dealership such as this.I mean you would expect to get something after spending like $90K on a car.. what a shame!!
So the experience its self was good. After looking for a car for several months I ended my search here. I was looking for 1 kind of car and 1 kind of car only. A used 2012-2013 Buick Regal GS or CXL Turbo. They had a 2013 Buick regal posted and I messaged within minutes of it being up because of an alert through an app. I later showed up to the dealer unannounced on Monday and they had already sent the car to detail. Here is where the experience becomes good. Most dealers especially the one I worked for for over a year would have told me sorry its at detail can you come back later instead of telling me this they offered to take me to the detail shop and let me look at it. They drove me to the shop to take a look and I was impressed. The car its self was in absolutely amazing condition (minus curb rash on the wheels and a few other extremely minor things however that is normal used car wear but we will get back to this in a bit) After looking at the car I decided I wanted to come back later that week to test drive it and look into it even closer. When I got there I had a sales man offer to take me out for one and I insisted I work with the guy I talked with on the phone. After waiting for a little (I was willing to wait due to the fact I have been looking at these cars for a while and drove close to 25-30 of them in under a month) he showed up and we took it for a drive. The car drove perfect. No issues at all what so ever. After that I got information on pricing and assured them I would be back. That weekend I went back and traded in my car for that 2013 Buick Regal. Now time for the things that made this from 5 stars to 4. Tho the experience was absolutely wonderful and the sales man was very easy to work with. I did not like that when I purchased the car I was not able to drive it home that day. Now I will give the befit of the doubt and say that yes I purchased it only a week after they got it however it would have been nice had it was ready to drive home that day. However, I was understanding that it was only a week for them to fully service it and do everything else so I understand that it was not going to be ready. The other thing I was not happy about was their car wash. Now I am not discouraging anyone by saying theyre wash did a minor scratching to my car. Its all scratches that are for the most part easy to buff out. However what I was unhappy about was when I was told people run theyre $100,000 cars through it and when I took theyre word for it it caused some scratches. (the reason why the car went back to get serviced was because of the sun visor. We missed that the part to pull up to view the mirror was broken. Again EXTREMELY minor and far from a deal breaker) Now I am not saying not to use their wash. Go for it use it, its good for convince and you dont have to pay for it making it even better, and had this been my last car which was exclusively to get me from a to b I would have never noticed. However what I do not like is I am trying to build something of a daily show car. And scratches on a car like that dont look good. I should have stuck with my gut and done a hand wash myself when it got home. However apart from that minor hiccup, all in all. The service was AMAZING, the sales staff was extremely helpful, and the manager was very great to work with. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new or used car. This chain is extremely great to work with and I am happy I bought my car through them. If you are looking for a car I can confidently say they will do a lot to make it a wonderful experience.

Sale is more important than a customer. Inquired about a vehicle. Agreed on a price. We travelled 100 miles away to look at the car and put a down payment. Last minute (by the time we were almost there), they called and said it was sold. If it was a family owned company (where they care about their customers), they would have held their part of the bargain and waited for their potential clients to come.
I bought my 2014 Jaguar XF, certified pre owned on August 2017. I have had nothing but problems since then. The sales person Steve Grady and the used cars sales manager Steve Heinze misrepresented the features of this car. On top of that, they have been very unhelpful to me when I reach out for help. I bought this car in Illinois but I live in Michigan at the moment. When I took my car for servicing (a couple weeks after purchase) at my local Jaguar dealer, after servicing they notified me that all four of the wheels were bent and that it was rare for all four to be bent at the same time. They also notified me that there had been a paint job on the passenger side front door that was not included in the acknowledgment form. Then most recently, my battery died completely without any reason.Edit on 2/21/2018: On Feb 10th, While driving it suddenly stopped in the middle of a busy road, had to tow it to the dealership. They discovered that front rear fuse panel was corroded which led the electrical system to fail.Edit on 4/12/2018: Looks like a never ending story, On 4/09 the car battery died from not using it for three days in a row after coming back from a vacation. This was the second time it happened the first time when AAA guy came to jump start the car he said that it is normal for the premium cars to loose the charge when unused for 2-3 days I did not believe that, this time I got it towed to the dealership they said it is a bad battery! During the purchase I was told that the car has got the new battery but when I called the dealership to find out to get it replaced they said the battery was never replaced. I am just worried what other things they lied about the car.All these problems with my car have caused unnecessary expenses and stress. For such a high quality brand, would not expect this many issues after buying a certified pre-owned vehicle. Would not recommend buying from this dealer in future.
Don’t go here, drive to Jaguar in Hinsdale or Orland Park as this place is horrible. My wife visited this location on 3/13/2019 with a prescheduled appointment for a factory covered oil change on her 2017 F-Pace and they told her they were going to have to charge her for it even though oil changes are included in the purchase of the vehicle for the first 5 years. She showed them the paper work from her last annual oil change on 3/9/2018 at the same location but still they refused to cover it and told her she had to wait and bring it back in during the month of May. After leaving there upset she contacted Jaguar in Hinsdale & Orland Park and both dealerships told her to bring it in and it’s fully covered only wish we didn’t have to drive to Orland Park for good service. We should have read the reviews before scheduling the service and would saved a few hour of wasted time. Recently found out that the same Hoffman Estates dealerships forgot to put oil back into a friends Range Rover when his wife brought it in for regular maintenance. You can’t fix stupid.....Don’t go hear for service unless you enjoy poor customer service with extreme lack of detail. They clearly don’t value their customers.
I bought my Jaguar F pace Sport here last month. Jon Hert spent lot of Time going through their inventory and made me Test drive each possible variant of F pace to ensure I get the one I am looking for.It was great having a Guy explain You the features who knows what he is talking about.I would say my experience here was the best.
We were treated like royalty here! Great people, motivated to help you find what you want (not what they want to sell you). We made a deal 30 minutes after closing and everyone stuck around to help us through the entire process late into the night. It showed how much they value us!

Best customer service!!!! Have been with the motor werks family for years and will continue to purchase all future vehicles from them.. they always make things right and the customer is always first... walking into the new location is breath taking and you are greeted with a smile ..
Recently moved into the area and was planning on bringing my F-Pace here for service, but after seeing these recent reviews I think ill stick with getting my service done in Northfield. Its a shame that I have to go through this inconvenience when this dealership is in my backyard.

2022-04-29Empty promises. Purchased a used vehicle rushed into purchased. I brought it back bc brakes were making noise like crazy. First they call to tell me they could not duplicate issue then told them is why driving for like 10 minutes. Then they tell me they will clean and lube the brakes. Which they clearly didnt bc vehicle had the same noise and then never mentioned the brake wear sensors were cut off and bypassed. I would not trust with service of my car.

2022-05-02Great Experience. I recently purchased a used Infinity Q50 sight unseen all the way from Charlotte NC. Simon Bryniarski went above and beyond to help me. I asked him for a close-up walk-around video of the car and he sent it to me in minutes. we had a couple of hiccups but they made things right. I HIGHLY recommend you work with Simon. Thank you to the entire team at Land Rover/Jaguar at Schaumburg.

2022-05-12Ive had the worst luck with contacting the finance department. Ive emailed and called several times regarding a GAP insurance refund and to no avail. I am very disappointed with the poor level of communication at Jaguar.

2017-07-16I hate car dealers and salesmen but Jaguar Hoffman Estates are an exception. Steve Grady is an excellent salesman that really puts himself in your shoes. The service department is GREAT!!! I highly recommend Jaguar Hoffman Estates!!

2020-07-29I recently purchased a used vehicle from Land Rover Schaumburg. The initial experience was positive until I purchased the vehicle and in no less then 24 hours experienced issues with the car. The ac was leaking and soaked the carpeting and padding in the front of the vehicle. I had issues with the electrical and discovered other things that the supposed multi point inspection should have addressed. I communicated this to the dealership and the sales person I worked with. These issues were readily obvious so I know the dealership, sales team, and service chose to ignore these issues and just left the problems with the buyer to deal with. I have since contacted Land Rover Schaumburg and theyve been completely unresponsive. I spent additional money to fix all these things that should have been taken care of. With so many other dealers out there and competitive vehicle pricing; there are definitely better options with choosing another dealership to do business with. My experience with Land Rover Schaumburg was unprofessional and disappointing. This dealership lacks integrity and I strongly caution any new or used car buyer to think twice before doing business with them.

2019-10-29Car buying is never fun. The idea of negotiations and the feeling that no matter what you can’t win, permeates the entire car buying experience. My experience with Land Rover Schaumburg was none of that. Our sales person Jeffrey was outstanding. I feel as though he advocated for us and we were able to reach a deal that was fair in quick order. James is finance was efficient and pleasant. And the product specialist, Jodessia is a wealth of information, patient and has a Rock Star personality. Well done team!
