If you guys are looking for a CPAP supply company do not go with IV & RESPIRATORY CARE they are a deplorable and very bad business they have messed up my orders so many times on top of the billing issues and stuff and I dropped my cpap machine off may 12th to get it repaired and still havent got it back yet its ridiculous how many mistakes this place makes do not go here go somewhere else
John did an excellent job showing us the equipment he brought for our young son! He was positive, friendly, and very knowledgeable not only about the product but the company as well. Not only did he give a great presentation but he was on time and made sure to give us an ETA when we called on his way to our home.
Sharold explained everything very thoroughly and let me try replacing the filter and opening the water tank for myself so I’d know how to do it on my own. When I got my previous CPAP elsewhere I was not shown anything regarding how to set settings or anything. Just received the CPAP and was sent on my way. I greatly appreciate the time Sharold took to carefully go over everything with my new CPAP with me.
I received my caps machine on April 25th 2022 ,I was show everything I needed to know I asked questions and most important he let me do everything . When first arrived I had no idea on what I was looking at. It was a totally different capa machine, I needed help and I got it ! Do Thsnk know Mr. Williams !!!
I spoke with my tech guy three days ago. And we sit up a time so he can deliver the equipment and we touch bases on how to use the equipment and I sign my release papers to him. And on his digital tablet as well then he let me know what he want me to do with the equipment tomorrow so he can pick it up I give him two thumbs up he was really detail about how things should go on. He was very professional.
I have been very pleased with their service. If they are not able to handle my request immediately, they call me and explain why, and when it might be that they take care of the request. They are very good about explaining everything to me, and keeping me informed. Im very happy with them!
Sales is super nice. Follow up is atrocious. Requested cpap pickup for three straight months with them doing so only on the 3rd request, yet they billed me for the whole time. 5 letters and 2 phone calls explaining that to their parent company - Aerocare all have been ignored. My doctor said there was a second company in the area...I would suggest you seek them out and hope you have a better experience than I did with IV & Respiratory Care. ETA: Wow! Just took the time to read previous poor reviews and there are many and theyre all saying essentially the same thing. Its very telling that the corporate response is a cutnpaste. Youve been warned.
Was having problems with CPAP machine & MyAir app readings not adding up. The respiratory therapist Ryan refitted me for a smaller frame on my mask & also discovered there was something wrong with the CPAP machine. Theyve given me a loaner to use for the next month while my machine is out for repair. Great job on making sure my equipment is working well & is the right equipment for my needs!
They did not fill an order I had that was paid gor for five months. They blamed my sleep doctor, which doesn’t make sense. My insurance requires I get a new prescription once a year. They waited so long this finally expired, so I had to make another doctor’s appointment to write another prescription for the supplies.They told me there was nothing they could do, blamed the doctor, which makes no sense.Finally, I had to talk to a supervisor who said they were using another company to process supplies, and they have stopped this.The Velcro straps on my new design mask don’t keep attached all night, either design flaw or production error, so I get major mask leakage at night. They refuse to replace. They suggested I use safety pins to hold it together.
So far so good. They called me to check after a week. Got me back in to update to a different mask and had zero problems. I’m usually critical of places so all I have is their rooms look they put zero budget towards their appearance and the waiting room / narrow hallway laughably has three chairs that look like they found them outside a dumpster.
Initial appointment with them was okay, although a bit rushed. Follow up contacts they have treated me as if I troubling them with a question. But worst thing is when they repeatedly contact me to order supplies and insist they cannot quote me a price until I make the order after which they will have someone call me with a quote. How could they place the order without knowing the cost? I routinely receive bills with one fee for around $8.00 then show total owed $59.XX with no explanation of the remaining charges. Once they are paid it seems to take months before the payment is reflected on their statements. I may receive 2-3 bills in one week then not receive another for 3 months. Theres never a thorough breakdown, I called them out once for billing more than my insurance claimed they could bill me and they immediately said then just pay the amount they show. At this moment I have received three bills in the past eight days none of them are detailing the amount owed. Im tired of calling and essentially talking to someone who does not appear to know what they are doing so send me a proper itemized bill and it will be paid. Otherwise, it wont be.
EDIT: Things have really gone downhill since they were bought by AeroCare. I get daily calls to try and purchase new supplies from them, even as I have told them I dont need them at the moment. Im an adult, I know when to order my own supplies. Its almost like a sales pitch at this point to sell more stuff to increase their bottom line and bill insurance more. I wish they had stayed local and continued offered personalized and professional service.Wow. Also wondering what went wrong for the one star reviewer.Since they have been my provider of a CPAP machine, I have had nothing but excellent and kind service from them. The technicians are friendly, appointments are kept, and the billing has been straightforward and timely.I would definitely recommend them if you need their services.
Ever since AeroCare took over, this is the SECOND order IN A ROW that my supplies were not shipped!! I order mine and my husbands at the same time. For the SECOND time, we have received HIS supplies, and more than what was ordered (they sent 2 extra masks). But did they send ANYTHING of mine?? No. Again. No. So now what?? Are they going to express ship it since this is the second time in a row this happened? If you are looking for O2 or CPap supplies, save yourself the headache, and go elsewhere. This place is USELESS. I havent even mentioned the 4 phone calls and 1 hour it took just to make this order I have been woth I RESPECT for what will be 5 years come April, and NEVER had one single issue before this joke of a company took over!
Horrible service. I have new equipment coming in a month and a woman in the phone, withe people in the background telling her to say that I cant talk to anybody for a month. I wanted to take care of this in next couple of weeks and she emphatically told me sir, you dont understand, you are not eligible for equipment for a montn. I said, I am not eligible to talk to anybody and get it arranged either?already got calls from 3 other companies that want to talk to me. you think they want to talk to me and get a signed contract as soon as posible. great business model.
I showed up for my appointment. This COVID has everything kinda weird. My checking was flawless, she took me to a room, and then Kristen came in. What customer service. Way above board. She showed me my machi e. And we went through all the gadgets. I was apprehensive about using one of these. My first experience with one was sleeping next to one that sou red like an iron lung. But then she let me pick a mask and we put it on. Then she hooked it up and turned it on. All my inhibitions went away. I told my wife Im pretty excited to try this. Kristen told me it will take 2 weeks to a month to get used to it., Well not sure its going to take that long but Im so ready for a good nights sleep. Ive basically been in customer service my whole adult life. IV &Respiratory care can write the book on it. My worries were gone when were gone.
The people at this office said they would handle my insurance claims, told me what my responsibilty for payment would be and soob after i received a bill for a substantial amount (10 times) more than I was originally told. Not to mention, my first appointment was scheduled over the phone, and when i arrived, they told me that it was for a different date, and rushed me through the process of information training on the device i was to be using. Everyone i have talked to has been extremely rude, with the exception of the technician that explained the device, office management, billing support, insurance expert .. Stay far away from these crooks.
Horrible customer service. Takes weeks to get supplies. They use the fact they are under new ownership as an excuse to not send supplies in a timely manner. They canceled my last order, but couldn’t tell me why. They do not return calls. Very frustrating to deal with.
Seeing IV & Respiratory here with only a single 1-star review made me sad. I ran to them after the evil billing mess that Convacare put me through and its been nothing but pleasant. Everyone Ive dealt with has been friendly and I havent had one billing discrepancy - where with Convacare I would have to scrutinize every detail to make sure Im not being double-billed for what the insurance already paid.

2022-07-09We were having an issue keeping my husband oxygen level up. I called and there was someone here within a few hours. Ryan, our tech was great. I learned so much from him about the things to watch for when tubing or the water tank need to be replaced. We have been very pleased with the service these guys provide.Thank you

I was suppose to have picked this on Monday & you managed to set it up so I would not have to drive back I n Monday from Troy to pick everything up. 2022-07-26Called with a problem with my portable oxygen. Ron sent Ryan out to look at it and had to replace- They had a new one on the truck. Was taken care of immediately- All were professional and courteous and the service was fast. Ryan and Ron were exceptional.

2022-05-14Paula was great explaining things to me and showing me how to use it. I am just having a hard time getting used to it. I keep gasping for air. The machine is so quiet. I think it might be easier to use if it was more like a bubble instead of fitting over just my nose and mouth. But I will make myself use it because I know it will help me.

2022-08-19James did an excellent job with my new machine. He took time to explain all the new features on the upgraded equipment and made sure I knew all features and how to maintain it.Thanks
