Great golf course. Been coming here for years. Started coming through the First Tee program and I havent been able to stay way since. This place is well kept and the staff is friendly and very helpful. If youre a golfer looking for a place to visit, this is a place you want to go. Its not overly fancy here but it is a great place to relax with friends over a couple beers and play a few rounds. The hole difficulty here ranges for fairly easy to fairly difficult. No extremely hard holes here. Mostly an easy course to play. Putting greens arent hard to read so you should not have any 3 putts on your scorecard. If you do its on you.
I had no serious complaints against this golf course. I just started back up playing golf after 20 years. I understand that they need to upgrade and take care of the course, but workers were all around and I was afraid of them, with me getting back into golf again thing. Mostly older people are here and there is no nonsense, just good people enjoying themselves here and being friendly to everyone. I will be back here weekly when it warms back up.
Great course. Water hazards on a few holes demand respect and accuracy. Only one hole parallel to a major road so those who slice need to give plenty of room to play your slice. Great greens and lots of long holes for you long bomb drivers can swing away. Prices to play are comparable to other park district golf courses in the area. The grass is kept very very nicely by the grounds crew who do any awesome job at what they do and the club house exteriors and landscaping was updated a few years ago.Interior updated somewhat as well, small proshop and typical turn food - hot dog, chips, in-house made sub sandwiches are good when fresh. Beverage carts do come around offering the usual snacks drinks and beer at ok prices. The entrance drive has some monsters for speed bumps so beware low clearance vehicles. Shares grounds with a picnic area, playground and tennis courts.

2022-06-29Consider playing elsewhere! There is significant burn out. The greens are painfully slow. There is burnout everywhere. I dont think they can save this place.

2019-05-13So far have only used the driving range. Plan to play here this summer. Price for the range was great and they had plenty of grass stations available. Had to leave another course since they were “mats only” and it drives me nuts hitting off the mats. Everything was in great condition from what I could see and it was fairly busy on the course.

2022-05-30Unkept. The first 4 day weekend of the year and they can’t even have the place mowed. I lost about 10 balls 2 feet from the fairways.

2020-06-04This course is terrible and especially for the PRICE! The course is old and now well maintained. You can hardly find a cart path. Directions to the next tee box is a coin flip. Keeping it balanced, the staff was very nice. With that said,, i will NEVER recommend this course or return myself.

2021-10-09Beautiful place. Customers are let to play music at whatever level and of course distasteful music blaring everywhere. Otherwise had a great time

2018-03-14Honestly not a bad course...not sure why I’ve seen some negative reviews. The course was in decent condition for March and it was pretty challenging. Some long holes with a few doglegs sprinkled in and some fun par 3s. My favorite was hole number 2 or 3 with the island green!
