Highly recommended. Excellent clinic especially for Covid-related care — testing, vaccines, anti-viral, etc. User-friendly web portal for scheduling appointments and easy access to the patient’s medical records, including immunizations. Great customer service - professional and friendly.
Overall, I got what needed to be done (strep and COVID test). There were two ladies at the front, a tech working the computer and another doing pre-testing. The tech doing pre-testing was not very welcoming and when asked what the purpose of the visit was, she immediately said “strep is not infectious”. I was a bit confused and felt dismissed right away. She asked about symptoms and because I did not give her yes or no answers, she got frustrated. The NP came in and was more conversational and inviting and I explained the same set of symptoms as I did before, and she suggested a COVID test on top of the strep test. The tech came back in and was very accusatory, asking why did I say I had no symptoms when she asked. The nature of it was so unprofessional I couldn’t even come up with a response. I usually do not write reviews but I feel rather strongly that a providers emotions should never taint a patient-provider encounter, and this one surely did, leaving the worst taste in my mouth.
I made an appt for the first dose of the Covid vaccine for our 7 year old son the night before. I was told to click the link when we arrived and sit in the car. We did so when we arrived and maybe waited less than 5 minutes before they messaged us to come in. We checked in and waited maybe another 5 minutes before we went in for our son’s shot. The woman administering it was very polite and professional, as my son was a bit anxious. She explained to him what she was doing and tried to put him at ease before the shot. It took less than a minute and we waited about 10 minutes after to make sure he didn’t have any immediate reactions. After the 10 minute wait we left. The location was convenient and the website was easy to navigate and made an appointment. The facility was clean as well. We have been here before to get Covid tests after a trip out of state and will continue to come as needed. Overall I give it 5 stars.
I came into innovative express this morning to get a copy of my vaccination card. That was accomplished in no time and then was told that I could get my booster shot. I did that.Then I used the restroom. There were no paper towels in the restroom, and there was debris all over the floor. I did mention to gals at the desk that it needed to be cleaned. I also noticed that the carpeting was dirty and needed to be vacuumed. The hallway was also a mess. I would think that cleanliness would be at the top of the requirements of a health care facility.
Question, I went in, for the salvia, Covid Test, as I was about to embark, on job searches, and wanted, to make sure, I was Covid negative, going into my job interviews.I spat so much and hardly a drop went in. Had someone give me a new tube, made her watch me do it, in case I made a mistake. She said I was doing it perfectly.Still could not get much in the tube after a full 5 minutes of constant saliva . Of course a few days later, got the email, the testing did not reap enough saliva. Why was I charged $125??
What a well run organization from top to bottom. In a crazy time like this, you want to talk about efficiency this is the place. From the time you check-in when youre in the parking lot, to checking in on the inside, to intake of vitals, tests, communication, and before you know it youre done. Under the circumstances best place to go.
Polite and professional! Got checked in promptly and brought to my personal room. Information and summary by a provider took all of 15 mins. Nurse came in shortly after and got the IV started. Longest part is the hour observation wait time post treatment. The IV bag reads as a regular solution but they mix the treatment in with it. Only confusion I had.
I came in for a Covid 19 saliva test then realized that I actually needed the nasal test because we needed results right away. This was my first Covid 19 test and I was terrified. The sweet young lady who performed the nasal swab assured me that she’d be gentle and I’d be okay. She was right and I was shocked at how comfortable it actually was. She didn’t stick the swab way up into my nasal passage, she was so gentle and comforting!From the upbeat, welcoming and kind receptionist to the young lady who performed our test, our experience was more than what we expected and we couldn’t be more satisfied! Thank you for making my daughter and I feel so comfortable! You ladies were awesome and we will definitely be back here if ever we need another test!
I really appreciated how I could make a same day appointment for a covid test and that my appointment went quickly. However, besides what looked like two separate rooms, this place is just one giant room with curtains separating chairs for their rooms. Two people opened my curtain and called me by another patients name while I was there for five minutes. When I checked in, there was no privacy whatsoever so everyone in line could hear my personal information as well. It was all really unprofessional. Reminded me of a covid testing site I went to at a hotel once rather than an immediate care. I would recommend for covid testing but not for anything else.
I went here for a COVID test with my daughter and we really had a good experience. We made an appointment online and went on a Saturday morning and we got right in, there were very few guests there, just a few. The check in went very smooth. The layout is fine as it appears to be using an old medical practice with the usual waiting/check in, exam rooms, and not much else. They took my daughter and I together which they asked us first which made everything go smoothly for them and us. Two for one. The people that saw us were very professional and efficient. We got instructions as we went regarding the test and next steps, they answered all our questions, and we were done quickly. We got results in about 48 hours (they estimated 2-4 days). We both tested negative and expected that with only sore throats, no exposure to a confirmed case and no other symptoms but we both had heard that can be the only symptom and we both wanted confirmation. We will definitely go back if we need to get tested and we will recommend this Innovative Express site to others.
The website reports if not covered by insurance covid testing for both evaluation and test is $250. I was billed $400 and told it was because it was a rapid test. Many other local facilities charge less than half this for the same services, including rapid testing. If I had been aware of this cost I would have never agreed to testing there. Also the PA evaluation and consultation was a total joke, no actual assessment but it cost $250. Go elsewhere.
After trying for an hour to reach someone over the phone I was able to speak with someone at the main office. They assured me this location stayed open until 8pm. I just drove an hour in rush hour traffic to have someone apologize to me because they dont have a phone line right now and the other person must have given me the wrong information. Thank you for wasting my gas & time.Get a phone!
This has been an overall bad experience. After scheduling my appt I received a text telling me click on the link provided once I arrived to my appt and to wait in the car until I am contacted by the medical facility. I waited 35 minutes and was never contacted. I then went in and no one even knew I was there.I went onto get my the first vaccine shot (Pfizer) and my arm started bleeding from where the needle was inserted. This does not seem normal to me because everyone I ask about this, said they did not experience bleeding from getting the shot.Another thing, I was scheduled for my 2nd vaccine shot to come back in 15 days. When I checked online with the cdc, the instructions is to wait 3-4 weeks before getting the 2nd Pfizer vaccine shot. So now, I dont trust that this location knows what they are doing. I will have to find a new location and reschedule.
I arrived for a Covid test early and watched several of the employees walked in without masks. They set up for the day without masks and finally put them on when patients were invited in. I was called into a room for my Covid test and asked several general questions by a nice tech. What was strange is the 1/2 open lap top where I could see a man walking around in a room. After my test was given the lap top was open and the tech began calling for the man. The man was in casual dress obviously in his home. He closed the door and sat down at the camera. The tech asked how is this going to work? He replied going forward I will just watch . I asked what was going on and the tech said he (Beverly told me who he was would ask me questions and she left the room. He then began asking me the same questions. I let him know I already answered them and told him this was very awkward. I asked if I was not getting charged for a Dr. Appointment and he told me the insurance wouldnt pay if he didnt talk to me. I told him I did not feel comfortable and wasnt experiencing any symptoms and should not be required to meet with a Dr( who was never introduced as one) . I then left. Rapid results came back in 2 hours. The PCR 3 days. My husband went later that day and wasnt required to see the zoom Dr. And got results 24 hours before me. My mom went two days before me, didnt have to see the zoom Dr and after 5 days has not received her results. This seems a little shady to me.
Efficient and considerate. On time.Question: the Cna entered the Pfizer dose data on my Vaccination Record Card as Exp 12/4. Does 12/4 mean this particular dose will expire for continued shot administration as of or after 12/4/2021?I look forward to your reply.Thank you.
TERRIBLE! Took my grandmother there for a COVID treatment and the nurse couldn’t find the vein after trying SIX - SEVEN times. Her entire hands/arms are black from blood and the incompetence of the staff. There was no one else available to help the nurse. I’m not sure how what is supposed to be a trained nurse could not find a vein and sent my grandmother home without treatment due to her incapability.

Because I have to leave country for overseas travel March 23 early morning and have to carry printed pace testing results to show it at my destination airport in order to be allowed in. We had to drive back after our first test results because we felt (which has now been confirmed) that our tests/names were switched. We suspected they were switched after earlier home tests were done. We were told to go in the test room together for which Mohammed administered the tests.
My wife and I registered for tests online at the same time. She may have been exposed so chose the PCR swab. I chose the saliva test. Our appointments were 30 minutes apart, no big deal. However, she was given a CHOICE of saiiva or swab, which should not have been given. She was a swab candidate only. I was given the swab and told they do not do the saliva test anymore because it is inaccurate. Two appointments, 30 minutes apart with two totally different protocols. We need our results by Friday (this is Tuesday) because of a medical procedure I am scheduled to have next week. We are promised the results by then, so well see. A lot of other reviews have shown far longer wait times. This is an indoor building, not crowded today, and we were taken before our appointment times very promptly. But it is obviously just occupied since it is pretty much vacant of furnishings. Thats OK. I just hope they give us our results on time, accurately, and bill Medicare as they said they would. Based upon the other reviews and our experience so far Im nervous about this outfit.
Not recommend. Went with my family for testing last week. Agree the place is very unprofessional and disorganized. We wanted a Saliva test but we’re told they ran out of supplies so we did PCR. After swabs collected, we are told by another person that they do offer saliva tests. Also they try to harvest a bunch of your medical info unnecessarily in the registration process. Thankfully we got the results back, though just a text. A far cry from the high quality and innovative care advertised in the website.
My husband and I followed clear instructions to register online for the saliva test, and the only appointments were in Downers Grove, an hour away from our home. This seemed worth it for a saliva test with quick results. On arrival we waited nearly an hour past our appointment to be informed they don’t do the saliva test at this location. The website is very misleading and I would not have driven an hour to get a regular PCR test that I can get a block from my home. Very frustrating.
Gotten my test here twice now, and both times the whole process was very smooth. The first time, it was warmer out and the tests were done at your car. The second time, the tests were done indoors (I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were only 4-5 other people waiting to check-in to get tested). I had booked my appointment online two days prior. Pre-registered when given the link to do so (made check-in super quick and just a matter of confirming name and date of birth). I had known prior exposure for COVID, so I was approved for the rapid test. The rapid test is administered alongside the standard PCR for more accurate results. One swab up each nostril. My rapid test results came back within 2 hours, and my PCR test results came back to confirm within 2 days. They text you when results are ready, and direct you to their online portal. Super fast and easy!
This place is a joke! They keep you informed of when your appointment is with many emails and even a text but then when you need to be informed of your test results it is impossible to reach anyone. Place is filthy, no plexiglass, many staff without 3ply masks or masks not covering nose. Plus, they charge you/your insurance company an overinflated cost. Don’t go here- there are many better options.
Well if I didn’t have COVID I probably do now. Packed waiting room. I figured it would be a drive through set up to keep people separated, it’s not. They say to stay in your car until you get a text your room is ready, that gave me hope that I wouldn’t have much contact with anyone but when your room is ready and you go in it’s a small waiting room with a long line that winds around. I’m in awe if that’s considered safe protocol for a testing center testing during a pandemic. And they test 500-700 a day. Feel like I just got major exposure if I don’t already have it....Also on the website it doesn’t tell you that if they don’t think you qualify for the rapid test then insurance doesn’t cover it and it’s $150, so you have to decide on the spot. Would make a lot of sense if that info is on the website.
This was not a good experience. While I appreciate this place is trying to provide services in our area, it was incredibly disorganized upon arrival. My husband and I both took Covid tests here. They did not open the swab in front of my husband. It was very chaotic and took 90 minutes. His test came back positive. When I tried to get my tests they couldn’t give it to me because they said they were having problems with their online system and couldn’t forward the results. We retook the test at another location and both of our results came back negative. There’s a lot at stake when getting tested for Covid. My husband had to quarantine for several days waiting the second set of results and a trip out of state was canceled. There is no room for error on this issue. Sadly, I would not recommend this place.
My daughter, husband and I all got our tests done on Tue morning. We received our rapid test results within an hour of leaving the site. We then received follow up calls, texts, and emails in regards to the rapid tests. Our PCR test results, which typically take 2-3 days, were sent to us by Thurs and we also received follow up calls for those.
They were great delivering of the first dose, but never made the second dose appt. OR contacted me to make that appt. I DID ask about scheduling 2nd dose before I left from the first dose, and trusted they would contact me as they said they would. NO way to contact them to ask either !!
Absolutely horrible! After registering online first, had to wait 1 hour outside, only to have to redo registration inside. Employees take pictures of your drivers license and insurance card info on their cell phone, which is absolutely wrong and insane! I will also report to BBB. It has been 6 days and no PCR test results, can’t talk to anyone, no one responds to multiple texts and emails. I have contacted my insurance to let them know I never received results and to dispute the charge. Not the right thing to do in a crisis situation when people are worried about our health.
Website advertised rapid tests with no symptoms or known exposures, so I made an appt and drove 30 minutes to downers grove to find out that they would only give me a non-rapid PCR test w/nasal swab because I didnt have a known exposure. The staff were nice, but have no knowledge or control over the false info on the website.
Grateful for access to Covid testing but would appreciate more thoughtfulness in intake report around gender. Offer more gender options than male and female or dont make gender mandatory for things that arent related to gender. Space as well for preferred names would be great.
SCAM ALERT! - SCAM ALERT! - SCAM ALERT!Look over the reviews...Beware of this place. I was never told in person that they do not accept my insurance. 1 month later I receive a $445 bill. Better off going to Walgreens or CVS or your local township clinic. COVID TESTING for PCR test are free. No extra charges for anything unlike this place.If you want a refund or need to contact someone about anything its best you show up in person and talk with them face to face. A family member had to do that in order to get a refund for a rapid test that never arrived after waiting 3 days.
Very nice people at the facility but their follow thru is horrible. There is no way to talk to a human. If you leave messages or send emails they are ignored. I was told I would have Covid results within 2-3 days. This is day 7 and still no results with no way to get a hold of them. Extremely frustrating
Do not go here. Please search other places. If you do not have Covid you will get it here. No plexiglass at intake, medical staff wearing flimsy masks. Cramming as many people in as they can. It is sad what people will do for money to take advantage of situations. They promised me results in 4 days it has been 5 days. No results, no way to follow up. Terrible service. Please do not go here.
Do not let me repeat do not get tested here. Rapid test results were positive and then I never got results for the standard PCR test. They said I needed both swabs for the test to be accurate. Looks to me as of they are just taking insurance money and money from people.
I strongly suggest going somewhere else to be tested, this place is a dump. They person that came in to do the test was clueless, the information she gave me was completely wrong. I had to get someone else had to come into the room to do the test, she actually knew what she was doing. Rude people. This place is a covid mill, filing as many in as quickly as possible for $$. Well, you can take a look at the previous reviews and hopefully make your own mind up, however, I must chime in and say if you have insurance, or even if you dont, you are better off going somewhere else as this place is a complete joke! And the points Im about to make, it looks like the same complaints are coming up review after review so....the majority cant be all wrong.First, you can book an appointment via there website and the Chicago location or the Downers Grove location - dont bother because you have to stand in line REGARDLESS if you have an appointment or not and REGARDLESS if you pre-register or not (I did both and still had to wait in a line that wrapped around the building for an hour).Second, you can never reach a live person (there voice messaging even states - if you want to speak to live person press 2), however, you will be sent to a voicemail to leave a message. There is no one available to answer any questions at all.Third, they state this is a FREE COVID testing site, however, that is completely FALSE (and I will be reporting this to the BBB). I found out that it is a private facility that only takes certain insurance.....I even asked, so where does the free part come in?....and was told, well, its really not free. Oh really? Then why is it advertised that way and even states this on their recording when you call. They were shooing people away right and left because they didnt accept their insurance. A true FREE testing site administers the testing regardless of your insurance, and those who dont have insurance.Finally, this is not a medical facility at all, its a pop-up. So, someone is being reimbursed by the government according to the number of covid tests they do on a daily basis. This is why many people have not received results, and never will. The person or persons behind this obviously are just people looking to collect money and take advantage of people during a pandemic. This is why I hope past reviewers take their complaints to the BBB as well so the facility (more importantly, the folks BEHIND this facility) can be looked into).I would suggest going to an actual free site or even CVS to get tested because this place is absolutely ridiculous.PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
FALSE ADVERTISING. Went there with my family for a saliva test, which was advertised on their website. I even clicked the button saying Book a Saliva Covid-19 Test to get our appointments. The testing center was also supposed to be completely outdoors. Today it snowed, so upon arrival we find that all the testing is now being done indoors and you have to wait in line in a cramped hallway and lobby with a bunch of other people waiting to get covid tests. No thank you. And then on top of that, we found out they dont even do the saliva test at this location. We left without getting a test. Now Im waiting to see if theyll still bill our insurance for it.

2022-06-20From the time that I walked in I felt a very warm and friendly feeling. I felt extremely comfortable and relaxed and safe that no matter what was going to happen I was in good hands. I was able to ask as many questions as I needed to in order to put my own mind and my husbands mind at ease that this was the right thing for me. I am very happy that I was able to get this done.

2022-05-31The office setup in Downer’s Grove is amazing. There are chairs for treatments and plenty of space for patients to wait without making contact with others. I was seen quickly by a PA and began my COVID treatment soon after. Everyone was efficient and showed a positive and upbeat attitude.

2022-07-11Great experience ar Downers Grove to get monoclonal antibody infusion for my elderly mother. Staff were super nice, informative, and efficient. I was really stressed out as I was unable to get an appointment with her primary care doctor or even get answers to my messages. So glad I searched and found this facility! Highly recommended!!!

2022-07-27Who knew this service was available. Great staff. Great nurses! Super speedy. When I tested positive for Covid I thought I was in for a week of coughing my guts out. The BevTev monoclonal antibodies got me back on my feet in no time. I highly recommend Innovative Express Care.

2022-08-30I went in for my appointment for a Covid test. Staff was lovely and gave us our results quickly! Unfortunately, my insurance company was billed for an office visit. It was declined by them for payment.

2022-09-15In and out in under 10 minutes. The provider I saw, (Nicole I believe), did a great job of explaining the medication, procedures of taking medicine, and any side effects.
