I love this place because it has so much history. So much was sacrificed by Ms Ida B Wells back in the day and we should be graceful for her and her motivation. This home of hers a landmark and should always be cared for. A colleague and I met the owner that evening and the stories that were shared were priceless.

Love, love, love this home and its history! If youre thinking about visiting, consider the book, Lifting As They Climbed: Making a History if Black Women in Chicagos South side. It takes readers on a tour of locations connected to Black women (including Ida B. Wells) and so many others who helped to build Chicago and lived in that area.

A beautiful home within the historic Bronzeville neighborhood on Chicagos South Side. The home appears to be in excellent condition and the landmark is descriptive and very informative. So happy that I got a chance to view this historic home and neighborhood before leaving Chicago.

The housing projects are gone, but I still dont like this area. Marianos or The Pier cant erase the horrible memories I have of growing up on this side of town.

Wonderful place to be at great history of the black migration this woman was part of the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement for Equal Housing for blacks from the south to the north and segregated Chicago
