Immediate care service from the front desk to the orthopedic surgeon, Dr Garelick, was outstanding. Short wait to see doctor. Would highly recommend.
This was a pleasant experience. Staff very professional and helpful. Doctor discussed with me my problem, and offered a good solution. In no time, I was feeling well..
Didnt like my visit at all. When the doctor asked me questions, felt more like an interrogation if anything. Seemed like he didnt care about the patients at all. The residents seemed to care more than the actor in charge there.
Great experience. Fast service. In and out in an hour and accommodating.

2021-05-06The staff and Dr. Garelick was great! I came in with a possible broken bone in my foot. It was a short wait. The staff was careful with adjusting my foot during X-rays, each person were empathetic to my pain, made sure my husband was well-informed and even invited him to the back to be with me. Dr. Garelick was knowledgeable, straightforward, confident and kind. For any bone issues or joint pain, IBJI will be my first stop! Thank you for taking care of me!

2020-10-06I shut my hand in the door and next day was in excruciating pain; they got me an appointment same day in a few hours when I called and I was in and out in 30 minutes with a diagnosis and splint.Dr. Newman was so very sweet and gentle and kind with me and my broken finger injury, funny and kept me calm as he had to open a hole through my nail to relieve some of the pressure by the pooling blood oh my goodness. A total professional with a personal touch. Very grateful doctor!

2021-06-04Dr Garelick, was great. Took time to explain everything and took extra X-rays to be sure he covered everything.From the X-ray tech, to the woman that wrapped my hand, they were so pleasant and caring.I would definitely , recommend, my Dr and theIllinois Bone and Joint, on California.

2020-12-17Taking the immediate _out_ of immediate care.I called ahead and made an appointment to have a doctor check out a badly sprained ankle. An hour and a half past my appointment time I was finally seen. The care was fine, great in fact but Dont go here if you you actually need to be seen immediately.

2021-03-30I stopped in to IBJI as a walk-in with a herniated disc/sciatica. Dr. Newman was very kind and thorough in explaining my diagnosis and treatment plan. The whole staff was very accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend this clinic for the ease of getting walk-in appointment.

2021-04-30Was able to walk in and see Dr.Newman who was wonderful. Such a great experience especially because I didnt even have an appointment. Everyone was very friendly. Im so happy I came here and not a generic immediate care. Will definitely be back if needed.

2021-06-03I injured my right knee while on vacation Memorial Day Weekend, and upon returning to Chicago went to IBJI’s urgent care office on N. California in the Avondale neighborhood. I was processed relatively quickly and saw Dr. Chen who efficiently diagnosed a tear in my medial patellofemoral ligament. He got me fitted in a knee brace and instructed me to keep it on for 6 weeks and offered physical therapy for recovery. I am very pleased with how well he listened to me and helped me.

2020-12-30I tore my MCL snowboarding on Saturday. I called Tuesday morning, had an appointment that afternoon, was fitted for a brace, given a PT prescription and out in two hours. Dr. Wetters was professional, conversational, and attentive with my needs.
