I shop at Hy-Vee often & the customer service is mostly good especially from the older ones. And bargains are good you just have to know what to look for.
This stores curb side pick-up is an absolute joke. They have kids running it with no adult supervision. Its unorganized. It seems the past couple months it has fallen off completely. Ive given them multiple chances & no more. Wont be using them again. If you want a great curb side experience go to wal-mart. They have their stuff together.
We were looking for a place to have a meal and decided on hyvee market cafe. They had about half the things they should have and the half they did have out looked hours old so we ended up leaving.
Just for me personally they never have the cat food Im looking for yes it may be petty but it sucks having to go to two different stores. 🤷
Hy-Vee in Silvis is a nice clean store. They have a very good assortment of products and their prices are average. You could save money if you were selective but some items can be had for less at other food stores.The pharmacy is slow but they seemed to be understaffed. The staff is friendly and helpful. I give them an overall rating of above average.
Its a great store. But there isnt any consistency with certain products. All in all a good store.
I like Hy-vee but their pretty pricey but if you buy strawberries, be sure to cut them open so you dont bite into worms
They spent thousands and thousands of dollars remodeling the nicest Hy-Vee in town and then closed it a month later and left open the dirtiest unfriendliest HyVee
They quit selling items I have purchased there for many years. This happens a couple of times a year. I do not use self checkout, you do not pay me to do this, nor do you offer a discount for using them.
This is review is solely based on my Hy-Vee online pick up, I had a pick up time of 1030 I arrived about 1015 that my pick up order at 10:30, proceeded to the front of the store where I would get the rest of my groceries till store employees came out asking who I was and what I was waiting for then I proceeded to wait 40 minutes before going inside the store just to be told they can deliver it because they gave it to someone else now mind you I was the first car in line in the front to pick up the rest of my groceries they served everyone behind me Before I went to the store never will I ever use this service again managers stated they would deliver my food viva door Dash but considering the weather I don’t know when my food will arrive would you be angry
Nice neighborhood Hy-Vee! Although their market grill food and pasta salads are always sub par, and Ive never been very impressed by that part of the Hy-Vee.
Pricey, but better quality than Walmart. Even Walmart is more expensive.
I always love the customer service had a slight inconvenience with the meat bundle bundle but when i went up to customer service not only did they trust my word (unlike other stores around here) they gave me the 30 cents off a gallon i was supposed to get at the register! The assistant manager that helped me was very efficient in solving my problems
Ive been shopping at Hy-Vee for the past 20+ years. Never a disappointment there. Employees are always willing to go that extra mile to make there customers happy.

Weve tried to love this hyvee for over a year now. We got Hyvee Plus for occasional deliveries, and in a year, we didnt have a single correct order. Whole bags missing, individual items missing, quantities off (asked for 1lb, got a single, ect..). Most of the time we were able to get it right in the end, but its just stressful having to do it with EVERY SINGLE ORDER.Recently ordered flowers for my wife, was given an option of two delivery windows, they missed it by an hour and a half, which also happened to be after my wife left for the day..thanks, I was trying to surprise her before she left.Monday, ordered dinner for 8 from meals to go. My wife got a text that it was ready, called 3x when she arrived, no answer. had to get funneled through the main number to find out that nah, food wasnt actually ready. She got the food 20 minutes after the notification it was ready. Got home, and we were missing 6 items from our order (about half the food). Called, and were told they would cook them right away, but we had to drive back in to pick it up. I did so without complaint. Got there and was told oh, we havent started your chicken yet. All told, got all of our food 70 minutes after we were told it was ready, and our family ate a meal that was half cold over an hour late. No coupons, or anything free was offered for our trouble. How is this even remotely acceptable?Ive given them every single opportunity to shine, and Im just done.
Hy-Vee always has the best quality products, produce, in-house bakery, deli and meat. Their associates are also genuinely friendly and helpful. My favorite grocery store by far.
Silvis Hyvee is not as friendly or accommodating as the Ave Hyvee. I just happen to be close to Silvis and its the only reason I stopped but Moline Hyvee carries more and are much friendlier. There is always product that Silvis does not carry.
Great place to shop. Amazing meat counter with friendly help. The one bad thing is parking. There is no need for 30 handicap parking spots.

Many times their prices dont match the sale tags - and they fail to honor every time. Their prices are also not low enough to justify checking my own groceries.

I like shopping at this location because its smaller than most locations. I am able to get the stuff I need on small trips and be out very quickly. Love the full service deli and meat counter. I love the meat counters at Hyvee because I am able to get my steaks wrapped in paper and not have alot of wasteful packaging.
The worst online shopping experience Ive ever had. Our grocery pickup was scheduled at 4:30-5:00. There was only one person working this department, which is completely irresponsible as a company. I personally watched the one poor employee in tears over the frustrations his employer made him endure. And Im not being over dramatic, he actually sheaded tears to more than one customer. HyVee should be totally ashamed of there treatment of this employee. We finally received our order at 5:50, and we were forced to sit in the parking lot in 100° temperatures for and hour and twenty minutes. Very disappointed how I was treated by HyVee. But more disappointed in how HyVee treats there staff. Unacceptable Period.

I LOVE this place! First visit yesterday. Huge store, every department looks amazing. Great selection of wine/beer, too. Cant wait to return. All staff was very friendly and helpful, too. Great shopping experience.
I love hyvee! Lots of variety and specialty grocery items.They have a registered dietitian on staff if you need help with your dietary need. You can call ahead and set up an appointment. They will give you education on the correct items to eat for a healthier lifestyle.The pharmacy on site has an awesome staff! Very polite and professional. They have a calling service or text notification when your Rxs are ready. They have a drive ip window for speedier service.Hy-Vee has a huge meat department. It includes seafood, beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. Their beef is graded Angus reserve (top 6% grading) they have a wide variety of pre-made dinner items that you can pick up fresh at the meat counter.Oe of my favorites is the bacon wrapped, cheese filled, chicken griller! Its prepared so all that you have to do is toss it on the grill or put it in the oven.My wife was amazed as well. It ended up being our main dish and we threw together some sides at-home. It felt like eating dinner out at a restaurant , except for the bill. We saved lots by making it ourselves. It could have easily cost us $20 a plate Plus drinks. Dinner cost us less then $10 total.They have a floral shop and designers in store too. Their fresh flowers come from a local floral wholesaler who has the best flowers in the area! Whether its a single flower or a special bouquet, choose hyvee floral department! They do weddings too! And deliver (including to hospitals)Are you in a hurry? Stop by the deli and check out the ready cooked foods! Chinese style foid, pizza, and American dinners. It will range from General tsoas chicken to meatloaf. Some stores have the marketplace restaurant inside where you can order and sit down to enjoy your meal.(Pandemic rules apply. Check first)Hyvee services offered are: in store shopping, shopping online, drive up pick up and delivery. They also have a fuel saver rewards program which helps you save money on fuel. Btw, they have a fuel station on site. Its across the other side of the road.
Love how Hy-Vee stepped up to the plate with Aisles online.In the previous 6 months, I have had a hip replacement & shoulder surgery. If it wasnt for their staff shopping for my parents & our households, Id still be limping .Thanks to them, Ive been able to keep my mother out of grocery stores.99% of the time I get everything I order. Same with Mom. They keep our orders separated which other retailers wont do.As I tell every person who loads groceries in my car , I appreciate all they are doing! Several have thanked me for giving them a job! That surprised me. But then, I realized it is true. A need exists & Hy-Vee stepped up. THANK YOU HY-VEE!!!!

I would have gave more stars if the meat department would wear gloves while touching raw meat and wrapping it. Ive brought it up to the manager and I was kinda shrugged off after I told her I no longer wanted it. Long story short. Theyre a fine grocery store. I wish there was more training for some of the staff.
Customer service was awesome. Helped me find some of my items and speedy check out.Stayed calm and kept working even while an argument was going on behind her.
Hy-Vee has a lot of produce and everything is fresh in the bakery, all Seafood is fresh, the deli always has at least two people working, theres always a sale and they have hot items that you can purchase like Chinese food and more

The store is definitely different. I even remember when they were corner stores in Iowa, best chocolate ice cream ever. I mean one could blame it on this government deal thats going on but I find it easier shopping elsewhere perhaps lost their smile in every aisle.

We ordered a birthday cake for my daughters 5th birthday. We picked the color of the boarder and put an image on it with words. We got the cake today, the cake is perfect and unforgettable. Thank you so much to the person who made her cake. If I could, I would give 20 stars.
The guy who was shoveling snow offered to brush my windshield for me. Ive never had any grocery store employee go out of their way for me like that before. Amazing service!
Very friendly and helpful when needed, their prices are higher than Walmart. The vegetables ,fruits and bakery are all delicious. Deli department is not very affordable.
The employee that helped me in the garden center was professional, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. I dont know her name but she has made me return year after year. I love the garden center, I find it unique and very well priced.

We live Hy Vee and the Silvis location is our favorite. Its the only Hy Vee in the QCA that we found a candle shop with all sorts of treats and its the only one that carries the fish I like.
Shop the Health Market products for gluten free products and vitamin supplements. Staff all over milan, moline, rock island illinois well trained helpful.
Awesome place! The hot food section smells delicious everytime I walk past it. And the Shopper in Training mini carts for children are so cute! My daughter loves to help get groceries with her own cart!
Went in to get a few things and came out with a full cart. The store was clean and organized and always had someone there to help if needed.
Sometimes hard to find what you are looking for but the service is always nice and the selection of specialty items for a NA chain grocery store is pretty decent. They have a very nice bulk dry goods selection for those that like to use their own bags

5 stars because I got a peacock show lol. Loved their salad bar. I had my ribs naked with sauce on the side. The sauce was ok. Im glad my ribs werent drenched in it as the rub was good. I also had fried chicken. I unfortunately did not have any room left for the cheesecake
Im not sure if the store is typically dead but this afternoon there were a out 7 lines that were 3 deep or more waiting at the checkout. Ive never waited thay long before. Also, there was no one bagging - the cashiers or customers had to bag the groceries.
Very clean store, staff is friendly. In my opinion, they are a little bit overpriced. Nice story if you need to stop by and grab just a couple items,. Im not sure I would do my own my grocery shopping there.

Great friendly staff, not too competitive on prices compared to Wal-Mart (less than 5 minutes away), but competitive with Jewel (also less than 5 minutes away). Usually satisfying visits, except for when you get a cart that has a messed up wheel that causes it to pull to one side or not spin at all. These carts should be removed and fixed.
Disappointed in quality and selection at silvis location. Usually shop fareway. No strawberries and long wait at checkouts. No express lane open and a guy only had Whiteys ice cream and had to wait behind full carts of customers. Staff not very helpful when you asked where a product was. Several employes where getting online orders not wearing gloves or masks properly.
If you order online and they dont have the items that you ordered and paid for, they just give you nothing and dont bother to tell you! There are no text notifications ,there wasnwas email notifications that items that I ordered were not in stock. I got all the way home before I realized that three-fourths of my order which was the whole reason I went there was not in my trunk.
Business as expected, this is my normal grocery store. Hy-Vees normal sale pricing policy applies to ccx a single item as well as bundles. Any pricing policy that requires large quantities discriminates against people that cannot afford the larger purchase, often the elderly and the poor. Those policies are why I stopped shopping at Jewel several years ago.
I placed a grocery pickup order and set the time for 8:30-9am.Its now 10:20 still dont have my order and have been asked 4 times what my name is!!FOUR!!!I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!

The only place I order cakes from. Hands down the best. Its also my favorite pharmacy. Very friendly and helpful pharmacy staff. They can also give you a discount if you dont have insurance or your insurance doesnt cover your meds.
Went searching for 3 lbs of dry ice, I thought I was fairly specific about 3 lbs. Manager who clearly didnt care to assist the cashier, delivered 6.5 lbs. I should have only purchased 3 lbs and been done with the transaction. Poor customer service by one person spoiled the entire process. Not what I expected. #hyvee, #poorcustomerservice

Went to the bar side & wanted to eat. Was about 7:30 pm. 1young man waiting on people. Granted, it was not busy at all. He told us he had to check with the kitchen to see if they were still serving. What?! After 10 minutes, he said they were. Asked us what we wanted to drink, but proceeded to clean some tables & didnt bring us our drinks. Finally took our order after that. Someone else from the kitchen brought us our food. When we asked for some utensils & condiments, he told us where to go get them!! I dont what theyre doing there, but service stinks, and weve given them chance after chance.
Definitely a little confusing to get around the store. The employees are very helpful, and my family loves eating there!! Also the first Hy-Vee I have ever seen that has a bar it was kinda cool to drink a beer with my food.
Decent store. Prices are pumped up. Check their specials and maybe you will find a decent deal. Honestly, Hyvee is the place where our family goes if there is not another more affordable and decent store nearby. Go to Aldi if you want more affordable food. Hyvee does have actual hard alcohol, which would be the only reason to go there instead of Aldi.
I like that you get almost anything here and the store is always clean. However, for a budget mommy it can be to pricey.
Store has excellent hot food choices and super bakery. The pharmacy does a great job for us. Also fresh fruit and veggies are good and big selection. Friendly staff always.
One of the better liquor departments, great selection and staff usually is able to help recommend. Grocery store... its pricey but a necessity for a lot of items. Roticery chickens are the size of pidgeons, just saying.
Hy-Vee is a good place to shop for groceries. Its always clean. When you need help someone will direct you there or take you right to the place you need. However, they no longer take you groceries to the car like they used to. Which is kind of a deterrent for many of us who have a hard time with it. Sometimes the prices are a little high. But they have good sale prices usually, and their fuel savers are a great way to fill your gas tank.
The meat department and deli are always trying to screw you. The other day I asked for 1/2 pound of ground beef and the guy put 1.3 pounds on the scale and asked if that was close enough. This practice goes on all the time there.

Hy-Vee has good selection and friendly staff. Their health market is fantastic. Their prices tend to be a little higher. But you cant beat the ability to find rare produce in the Midwest.
The people who do the least get paid the most in this company. Products are way over priced for the quality and most of the money goes to some slob that does not even do much that adds profit to the company. The kids working are great just the fact of the amount of profit that goes to those that do not actually do anything and the sub par level of product...well🤔

I know right now this is a terrible time for many people, but when I seen a cashier removed her mask to sneeze that crossed the line. She didnt even use anything to catch her germs... she pulled down her mask and sneeze in the air... I know everyone doesnt have Covid, but still spreading germs like a wild fire! She could have sneezed into the mask and replaced it with a new one.
I feel hyvee is trying to keep us safe while shopping. Hyvee is cleaning carts and has one way signage on the floors to help keep shoppers comply to social distancing. The only thing is more employees should wear masks to protect themselves.
Hey there, new rules same Hy-Vee. Silvis Hy-Vee Has new markings on floor for one way isles. No shopping cart cops directing traffic. As best could be organized without stop signs and traffic lights shopping was fantastic. Same top quality same top notch friendly service. I gave it five pandemic stars for trying hard to be the best.
The only Illinois gas station that I go to. I wish they had lemon lime in the slush machines, then I would go more than once a week.

Went to the deli for fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. It was horrible. Chicken was dry and mashed taters were worse than a dry mix. The chicken gravy was so salty it ruined the already underpar potatoes. I would have been better served buying my own ingredients and cooking myself...and for less money. Bad experience .
Currently modernizing Silvis store. Enjoy several who work there and know me by name. Generally good experience and atmosphere.
Went to the Asian place for food. The food was v nasty. The spring rolls were cold! It was the worst food experience. I spoke with the managee and he was very appologetic and returned my money.Also the guys who serving the Asian food were very aggressive and unprofessional. Their attitude was to be pushy and just force their way.I highly recommend Hyvee and their food/cafeteria but absolutely not this Asian food place.
I came in for an 8 pc bucket of fried chicken and sides at 7:15 pm. Received 5 thighs, 1 breast and 2 wings. The young man packaging said nothing about missing legs and breast or substituting baked chicken or even if I wanted to wait while they cooked more. The gravy I received was thin, watery and very salty. My family didnt even eat it. The mashed potatoes and slaw were very good. Very disappointed with my first ever visit to the Market Grill area for a family dinner.
I hate this store completely rearranging every month or so... I got a job and life i dont have tine to re learn a new store layout everytime I shop tjere.

The best specials and most reasonable in the QC. Half price drinks and apps from 4 to 6 everyday. Nice and quiet. Its amazing that more people dont come here.

Everyone is absolutely friendly and courteous. And their chicken fajita mix at the meat counter is absolutely delicious.
Its quite a bit more expensive verses say Walmart or Aldi. I do buy things that I want fresh from Hy-Vee. Their veggies and meats look way better. They usually offer more variety as well.

Pharmacy help has become very bad over last six months. Store prices almost high as Jewel. Only reason to shop is Perk prices. Local feelings and rumors Hy Vee for rich people.
Only reason I gave them 3 stars is because of Charlie in the meat department, otherwise they would get 1 star. Making EVERYONE who is purchasing any alcohol from beer to vodka, produce a drivers license is not only invasive, but tells me they cant trust their employees to card the ones that NEED to be carded. I will be 61 soon, & you cant tell me I lokk UNDER 21!!!! I will still do some shopping there, but will BOYCOTT the liquor department until this is addressed.
Ok store. Workers are usually nice but there is NOT a friendly smile in every isle. Harder than heck to find someone to help you when needed and dont care for the manager

Better quality, costs more on many items, shop the ads and know your prices. Pharmacy is one of the best. I came to HyVee with Karen from Colona Pharmacy and am a satisfied customer.
This is the only place I buy groceries. My only complaint would be that they do not always have everything you could possibly want, and the prices you will find some time to be higher. The staff is super helpful and they keep this store very clean.

This location is usually not too busy, so there is usually not a long wait. Always an associate available to help you. Kitchen always had plenty of selection available. Good produce.

This store doesnt seem to have a few items I like, but the Avenue of the Cities does. I placed an order for delivery, so Ill see how that goes. All the HyVees I have visited offer great help and are clean.
Nice new restaurant area and great options for food from the kitchen. Counter associates are always nice and helpful. Chinese food is really good here- pineapple chicken is amazing.
I had to take my sister there to get her 2nd covid-19 shot and while there I did some shopping she was done with her shot before I pick up a few things.
The staff there are always more than willing to help and in the pharmacy theres this one lady I forgot her name but shes willing to go above and beyond to get you what you need or to help you out buying the right types of vitamins to help you out with your workout

Meat department is fantastic. Restaurant is fantastic. Liquor store manager Cannot be trusted at anytime. I ordered a 1/2 barrel keg for Christmas. Called to see if it was in. I was told they only had a 1/6 barrel. Not happy at this point but went up to discuss with the manager Ryan. I was told that they tried to order a half barrel but STERNs was out so I had only the 1/6 barrel available. I got home called Sterns and they said they had 3 in stock. Called Moline AOC location and asked them to order me one. Within 5 minutes they called back and said it would be there for pickup tomorrow morning. Silvis and Ryan have forever lost my trust and business. I will be traveling over to Moline from now on

One of the bigger HyVee stores in the area. Its very clean when compared with the Moline and Davenport locations. The only negative is their hot Chinese food. I like the one on 7th Street in Moline (by Trinity) if Im getting Chinese.

I really like shopping at Hy-Vee . The store is all ways so clean and the workers are so helpful.
I like this store. Its usually clean and quiet when I do go there which is rare.
Had the St Patricks corned beef and cabbage. Dry as a bone w absolutely NO seasoning. Tough,chewy bland meat..... Lesson learned
Today, I visited the Garden Center. Mark and his staff are wonderful! I buy my plants and lawn and garden items from no where else!
High prices. Not much customer service like they once thrived towards.
Its a good grocery store and they have remained pretty well stocked during the Covid 19 virus.

Cleanest grocery store Ive ever seen, even taking a glance back in the kitchen everything looks spotless. You can tell when employees and management care, and they certainly do at this place!
Its a mess right now because they are rearranging the entire store and half the shelves were empty and I had to search for everything I wanted.
I Ring bells here for the Salvation Army.And I ship here too.

I love Hy vee but when you have to go to Dollar General to buy milk because It was 4.49 a gallon for prairie farm Dollar General was a $1.95 a gallon

2022-02-12I ordered Mia Pizza from them. A young man named Austin made my Pizza. It was so yummy! I couldnt believe a grocery store Pizza place had great pizza. I definitely will order again from them. Austin was very helpful and knowledgeable about any questions I had on their food.

2022-04-14We ordered 2 Chinese entries tonight. The worst food ever. We have dinner from there all the time. The fried rice was so salty we couldnt eat it. The General Tsos chicken was good but cold. The sweet and spicy chicken also was good. It was so hard I couldnt chew it. The sweet and sour chicken was just bad. Its a shame. We wont. Eat there again.

2022-06-18Most of the employees are friendly. Hy-Vees prices are way too high though compared to other grocery options and their food doesnt seem to keep as long, e.g. milk from here ALWAYS goes bad before the date, bread gets moldy fast, etc.

2022-01-30I had to ask 3 different employees where a certain item was and all of them said they didnt know. I got frustrated and went to self check out with the items I had. Because a glitch in the checkout system a manager came over he was able to finally tell me where the item was. The employee should know a ball park idea for location of an item and if not be helpful enough to help a customer find it. The manager was actually nice enough to go get me the item so he gets 5 stars.

2022-06-30Went to purchase sliced watermelon on 6-29-22 10:15 p.m. 6 signs saying 1.99 get to register and rings up 6.81 , I told clerk I could buy full watermelon for 6.00 she said I was Ghetto and walked away from register . The other clerk that she was talking with when I approached the register then he steps in try’s to rectify the situation , after being called ghetto I just purchased my other items and left the store , this is beyond rude and uncalled for by your employee , so I give my experience at your Silvas , IL store a flat ZERO

2022-01-02Mostly good but need to train baggers better and try and keep employees and vendors out of customers way more. They clog the aisles worse than anyone. Employees cheerful and helpful when asked.

2018-03-16One of nicest and friendly HyVees around the Quad Cities! They are always willing to help our Girl Scout troop for cookie booths at any time! The management staff are absolutely amazing and friendly! The staff are always smiling and talking to everyone they make you feel like family and at home! The store inside and out looks very nice and always clean!!! Just all around great atmosphere and place!!!

2022-04-07I’m very upset that the self check outs are very annoying and takes forever to get done, I have arthritis in my back and find it very frustrating that only one cashier is open, you used to make sure no one was in line and open another lane, you just rely on the customers to do the work now! Very unhappy, your becoming like Walmart and the checkout service used to set you apart from them
