They put a new belt on a pulley tentioner .they removed the collant container but forgot to refill it. It was half empty when he removed it in not driving back 40 miles just he can fill it. They do good work there and are very helpful and friendly. If I was in the area and needed assistance. I would definitely go back.
This place is amazing! I had a brake failure in the middle of driving back home, and I did not know what was wrong with my vehicle. Brake fluid just completely leaked out. I was looking for places near me that could help me with my issue, and a lot of places were giving me excuses about how they could not help. However, Honest-1 Auto Care was the only place that was willing to help me, and after scheduling an appointment, my vehicle works perfectly fine! I am super happy to know that a place like this exists, and I give all the credit to the people that helped me, which is Charlie, the one who is in the front of the desk, and Karen, who is the owner. They even gave me a complementary bag of chips and an extra $5 off for joining their rewards membership. I recommend everyone to take their car troubles here and they will fix it! Everyone at this place was so nice and patient and so understanding to my truck problem. They were very thorough in giving me the details of the diagnosis results. They also went above and beyond giving me a ride back home while they worked on my car and picking me up. This was my first time with them and I will be going back for any and all of my truck problems!!!
Very nice people. Very professional and made the experience of having a car worked on much more pleasant than previous experiences at other shops. Great warranty on some of the parts that had to be replaced which makes me more confident that my car will continue running in good health. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again for any future repairs.
I have used Honest 1 Auto Care twice in the past year for various repairs to my daughters cars. Both times, they have gone out of their way to go above and beyond my expectations. One of the nicest experience I have had at an auto care shop.We received a reminder of our upcoming service appointment. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The work was done on time. We received a very comprehensive vehicle inspection report. They are very friendly, very honest, and we will be taking our vehicles to Honest-1 Auto Care for all our future needs and have recommended them to all of our friends and family. We very VERY happy with the service that was provided.
Our whole family has been taking our cars here for service for some years now and have been really happy with the service up until this year. Not sure if it’s new personnel or if they have been really backed up lately, but we’ve noticed a lot of mistakes with multiple cars that we’ve had to take back to be corrected. Also, when calling we’ve been hung up on a few times now and when we do get someone on the line the call feels very RUSHED. Can’t book appointments same day most times and service that should have taken a day has taken 3 days. My dad didn’t get his car back until 10 days later and still needed to take it back because someone didn’t put one of the brakes back on properly. I understand you may be backed up or understaffed, but it’s enough for us to give you a second thought when needing auto service. We nt to continue coming here because of our previous experiences. We just hope this place isn’t going backwards and losing their reputation.
I’ve been a loyal customer for years and had all my cars service at this business and had no issue or problems with the work on my cars until I took my van for a thermostat replacement I had call prior to see how much it would cost to do the repair and I believe it was Charlie who told me it will cost over $400 which I believe it was to much so I called around to other shops to get estimates and there prices were between $150 and $250 and the only reason I decided to take it here was because it started to leak the antifreeze and I was in a bind so they look at it and told me it needed a new intake manifold so I agreed to the job, so I went to pick it up yesterday and Charlie told me that everything was running smoothly and I wouldn’t have any problems with it . When I went out this morning to heat up the car the blower wasn’t working which it was before I took it back to the shop and explained my situation with Charlie. He had the technician who worked on it and couldn’t find the problem, so when I was waiting for a answer Charlie seemed to be implying that what I was saying wasn’t true so apparently they found the problem which was a faulty wire. I have spent a lot of money for this issue and to be given attitude from this person name Charlie it was much better when the candy man Mr candilaria was working here. So I have decided to take my business elsewhere
Had my timing chain done on my 2010 camaro at 96000 Miles, I choose this shop due to the great online reviews I read. It was a big job and costly but to me was well worth it . After job was done, car ran Super great and better than when I bought it! After driving it for 10 days , I took it to the emmision test and passed with flying colors . My experience here was nothing but pleasant and would come back if needed 🙃👍
They informed me the oil change would take 45 minutes. It ended up taking an hour and 40 minutes despite the fact they had my car make and model hours before the appointment.Edit: Karen called me directly to apologize for the inconvenience and provided me with reward points to use towards my next oil change.
The speed of service definitely is there. I got my car the same day I turned it in. I enjoyed the customer service they provided me also. They also have a 36 month/36k mile warranty on the service so that piece of mind is a good failsafe. I will say they are a tad overpriced but it pays for itself with the work they provide and the warranty present. Ill see them again when I reach 200k.
2/7/2020Great place. I have serviced both of my vehicles here and I love them. The owners are very caring. They do quality work at fair prices and dont push gimmicks. It truly is Honest. Any problems they fix and are flexible with scheduling. I work in social services and dont make a lot and I am always thankful that I am getting work done at affordable prices. I recommend them to everyone. I always dont want them to get too much work because they have just been so great and I want to keep them to myself. Very kind and a true investment in customer service.
I’ve driven past countless times and hadn’t ever given this place much thought. After a bad experience with a different provider and a coupon in the mail, I scheduled an appointment. Upon arriving, I was impressed by the staff. From greeting me, answering my questions, providing timely service, and explaining in detail my vehicle’s needs, I know my car is in good hands moving ahead. I look forward to returning for all of my vehicle’s regularly scheduled maintenance.
After speaking with Ross on the phone and verifying that the extended warranty my daughter has on her 2013 Dodge Dart was good for the repairs needed, I didnt hesitate to take it there. They told me to drop it off the next morning at 8am and they would run diagnostic testing and go from there. (The check engine light had been on and the thermostat light had been intermittently coming on). The place is clean, the staff is very professional and knowledgeable. They kept me informed of the problem and repairs and even got it done the same day! The name speaks for itself Honest-1Auto! I would definitely take the car there again and would recommend others to also! Thank you!! I paid the warranty deductible and they took care of the rest. Easy! On a side note, if debating on getting an extended warranty on a purchase of a used auto, do it! I saved over $500! Thanks again! Laurie P.
I took my 15 year old car for alignment check as it is a bit wobbly while driving. They checked and found out some problems which may require parts which may not be available and the money for fixing if we can obtain the parts will be more than the car is worth. That made me decide what to do. I may probably buy a new car than putting $3000 on a old car. They take the time to evaluate the condition of the car. That is a real good thing. The team at honest 1 are very professional. I recently had some engine work done to my ford mustang at this location. The service writer Charley was very helpful and informative thru out the entire process. And I was very impressed with the quality of work completed. Also the price was very fair for the amount of work I was having done. Great team they have working here, highly recommend honest 1 for all your mechanical needs.
This is a great auto shop! Charlie is the man. Great personality, really made me feel less nervous about my cars condition, called my warranty company and made sure they paid for the repairs with little out of my pocket. This profession can easily lack honesty but this place lives up to their name.
Been going to this place for my car care needs for a few years now and so far the experience has been great. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recently brought my car in for repairs and when I picked it up, was told by Cande that a particular part didn’t really needs replacing as originally inspected, which significantly brought the overall cost down. Really appreciate the honesty from this place. Highly recommend it.
I found this business with my Fixd app and I was very surprised at the service that I did receive. The place actually opened at 7 am and after the mechanics arrived they took my car right in. Charlie was awesome and very nice. Took the time to explain what was done and even showed me the messed up part that was causing the problem. He work with me on giving me a military discount as well and in getting the best price for the work preformed. Actually took me home and picked me up after they completed the work. I will think of this business if Im ever in need again. Thank you guys and Charlie keep being the nicest guy ever. Great job!!!!
No Games!! There was no need to feign naiveite to get details. I did not have to pretend that someone else was making the decisions so that I could negotiate the lowest price.I was given a link to my phone and email. After my vehicle was fully inspected - I was notified the information was available. The site had pictures of MY VEHICLEs existing, possible and future/next problems as well as upcoming maintenance.Items were described in detail from Honest-1s actual inspection and the recommendations of my auto manufacturer.I had MORE than a few questions. Each of my questions were answered respectfully and clearly: even when I asked more than once.When asked if doing an additional work would cost me less if I had it done now rather than waiting? I was told it would cost the same - NO PRESSURE to have all the work done NOW.COMPETITIVE prices WITHOUT SACRIFICING customer SERVICE or SATISFACTION.Gotta go! My car is calling me to go drive, and have fun, again.
Story time. My husband, two little children and my dog were 20 minutes into our road trip to see family when our AC went out. We called everywhere to see who could help us last minute and these people came through. They helped us in a pinch and were the most professional, empathetic and helpful people ever.We would be in such a bind without them. I can’t thank you all enough for your services and swift work. Took a long time but the service was worth it. Came in off of a welcome to the neighborhood coupon. They redeemed it and changed my oil for free no hassle! They also did an undercarriage and suspension inspection which let me know some really critical information. Price isnt your normal mom and pop shop prices but they seem to have a standard of service and that a appreciated.
I tried honest 1 after my mechanic was bought out by a retail chain. The new owners weren’t the same. I went to Honest-1 to have something looked at after ran over the curb avoiding an animal in the road. I heard this awful sound when I made right turns. I just kept thinking of a giant expense bill. I explained what happened. They found out what the problem was and it was a simple fix. They moved what the problem sound was real quick but another unknown problem was there. My sway bars were damaged. They explained what they were and why they needed to be fixed at some time. It wasn’t dire to be fixed right then but it could cause more problems down the road.I respected their honesty and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. When I got my car back there was something I have never seen before inside my car a little snack bag with a card thanking me for allowing them to care for my car. I had a flat tire that I brought in to get repaired. Honest took my tire, filled it up and was unable to find the leak. They kept my car an additional 24 hours just to make sure my tire was holding air and followed up with me 3 days later to make sure everything was still good. They went above and beyond .
I went in last week for an oil change. The building was incredibly clean and the staff members were super friendly. They were on time for my appointment. The oil change took a bit longer than I was expecting, but thats because they did a full inspection. Once my appointment was over, I received a copy of the results of the inspection. There were pictures, video clips, and explanations for the areas that were considered yellow or red. The staff members were patient and thorough when discussing some of the results with me. I think the price was fair and I will definitely be returning in the future!
I got a same day appointment for check engine light diagnosis.Warm greetings, nice office with comfortable settings while I waited. Cande gave me reasonable upfront prices for the work thats needed to be done on my SUV.I like the fact that they keep me updated by email and phone calls about the repair.Karen was very helpful and gave me recommendations regarding maintenance.Great service! Love the little treatsleft inside my SUV!. I will definitely go back for any issues with my car.
I met Karen Conway from Honest-1 Auto Care and never knew that I would need her services so quickly. My door handle on my Cadillac Escalade broke right before I was to be leaving for a long trip to the east coast. I could have taken it to my local Cadillac dealership in Orland Park but thought I would give Honest-1 a try. I had to drive for almost 45 minutes to get there but the trip was well worth it. Karen was very pleasant as were all the staff I met when I dropped the car off. Ross was the person assigned to fix my vehicle. I returned to find the work was done excellent, explanation was made as to what had happened, old parts were provided to show the problem, the price was reasonable, and they had priced out another repair I had inquired about. Found a snack in my car when I entered. What a surprise. Husband says we are moving all our work, including oil changes to them even if they are further away as their honesty, integrity, friendliness, and quality of service was impeccable. Very impressed!!
I wanted to like this place, but my 1st experience with them was not a good one and definitely not honest one. I brought my car in for simple oil change with the coupon they sent me for $21.95 after I personally scheduled the appointment after I verified that the price is correct for my car model. On the day of the appointment I was told that the oil change will be $26. I agreed and left my car. When they called me that my car is ready, this price was verified, but when I picked up my car it was $39.70 with explanation that they didnt know how much it will cost. ???? I had to wait there 20 min to pay and coming in phone call was more important than me standing there. Anybody in customer service should know that is just rude! I also got quoted for rear brakes $460 and tires $860 (not out the door price). Well, those 2 things got done at Midas yesterday for $850 out the door price. All I can say about Honest-1 car repair is they have a nice waiting room. Last, but not least i voiced my concerns to the lady at the front desk and she said, she will do some checking and that she will call me back. Nobody ever did. I actually waited a week before writing this review to see if they can rectify their behavior, no such a luck.
Beware!!!I went in to get my water pump replaced, and they did replace the water pump but I was taken advantage of in the process and left my vehicle in horrible condition when the work was complete.First they tried to charge me for a drain and fill(which is included with the labor) plus a coolant flush which is simple redundant. This would have been an additional $110 of which I denied them.They also charged me 200% the value of the water pump. I know this because the service advisor proudly told me so. The price they paid for the water pump was $62, which I found was the same price AutoZone sold it for , but Honest 1 charge me $120. He also added that the shop has to make money too even though the labor was costing me $560.To add insult to injury when the work was done I heard a winding sound from the water pump they just installed. They told me that the sound would go away by the next day. It didnt so I brought it in and they looked at it. Then they told me it would be an extra $500 for them to adjust my timing when I never had a problem with my engine timing before I got the water pump installed.Do yourself add stay away from this shop. Dont be fooled by the name, they are far from honest. I paid $760 for my vehicle to be given back to me in worst condition and on told of that I was denied a refund.
I took my car in for what I thought would need a wheel balancing and upon further investigation the technician found that I needed a new wheel bearing. Karen was super nice and didn’t charge me for the estimate and was very helpful with scheduling my car drop off. Once I dropped it off they fixed it the next morning within 3 hours. After my visit they sent me a hand written Thank You card. If you are looking for the best people and service this is the place to go.
Quality repairs and analysis. Been with Honest-1 for around 5 years, and they keep me coming because they live up to their name. Theyve kept me safe on the road, and away from excessive repairs. Straightforward, simple and honest dealings. Great to have mechanics who work your car and not you!
I went in last week because the splash shield on my car was hanging off after running over some snow. When I went in, everyone was friendly and I appreciated the quick service. The one gentleman, a mechanic I believe, told me it should be any more than 40-60$. I thought that seemed reasonable, heck, what did I know? Even farther, he said he might not have to write a ticket for it because it would be such a simple task. Well when I got the ticket, I found it was $87. I paid it, without much more than a grumble and left. Im simply frustrated at the disparity that happened between the mechanic and the boss. After talking to others that work/own shops in the area, I found that the price I paid was actually rather high considering it was a minor repair of a splash shield. I dont expect anything to come of this review, frankly I didnt even want to write one, but after getting a text/email two to three times since my visit telling me to review the business -- I found that I had to give my input. Overall, was the service fine? Yes. Did they do what was expected? Yes. But did they quote me with one price, then fail to explain why it was more? Also yes. This is the reason for your one star review. I appreciate transparency and this was not a case of such.
I had arranged for pickup/delivery of my car for normal serice needs. Karen came out and picked up the car, and by the end of the day my car was back in my driveway all fixed up.They always do a great job and are very nice people to do business with. They are fair and the pricing is reasonable. They gained my trust when Honda tried to milk me for thousands listing all sorts of things that were wrong with my car. Honest-1 looked it over and didnt agree and actually showed me what they saw. Something Honda wouldnt do. Plus so far, Honest -1 hasnt left tools inside my engine space or slices of pizza on my engine like other dealerships have done in the past.
I had been looking for a new place to take my car - this place is fantastic. I brought in an estimate for brakes from another shop; not only did they give me a better price, the work was done earlier than expected and done well. Cande went above and beyond, from the very beginning, and took care of another issue for me too - very friendly, very professional and very trustworthy - a pleasure to deal with both him and Karen. I highly recommend Honest-1 Auto.
When I took my car in they were so nice. I forgot my wallet and I had a $1.95 fee for disposal. I had a free oil change with the coupon I had for new customers. The man in front took care of it for me. When I got home I paid the fee but that gesture was so caring. Also they attached Skittles to their business card. I thought that was the cutest thing! I hope they stay honest and do those kinds of little things because thats what makes customers happy and want to come back. Its the little things. :)
Great place! Me and my mom come here for all of our vehicle maintenance requirements and I couldn’t be happier with the service! It’s owned by an intelligent and down to earth woman and the prices are fair and the work is wonderful. I checked out Honest-1 at the recommendation of a colleague. Im glad I did. They came in with a competitive quote significantly under dealer cost and offered a warranty on parts and labor. They were honest and up front about the estimate and what to expect. One of the best experiences Ive had with an auto shop.Services completed: Rack & pinion replacement, new tire rods, front wheel alignment.
This is my second review. Made an appointment to get my car looked at because I was having issues with my steering wheel. They were very quick to look at my car and tell me what was wrong. The rack and pinion were bad and so was the coupler. They got my car done the next day. Charlie was my adviser and he was absolutely fantastic!
I live nearby the shop and I stopped in for the first time the other day. I typically use Merlin for all of our service needs, but Honest 1 is closer and I thought I would give them a try. I took my van in because I was experiencing frequent problems with starting it up. I suspected there was an issue with the wiring or connections and I mentioned this to them. They were very busy at the time I dropped it off but they were able to get it back to me by the next day. They fixed a wire problem with minimal cost to me ($32), so I was very happy with that. I met the owner and she was very pleasant. I plan to bring my other vehicles back for future service.
I called a day in advanced to schedule an appointment for an oil change since the walk in wait time was a 6 hours. I brought my car in the next day for my appointment time and was told it would be about an hour before they could get to my car. I made an appointment to avoid this so Im confused as to why it would still be an hour wait. I gave them my cell phone number and said to call me when its done and that I would walk home so I didnt have to sit in the office for an hour or more. They told me that in that case, they would get to it closer to 2 hours. I found this extremely unprofessional but agreed and walked home. After 2+ hours, I finally got the text that it was done so I walked back. I had a coupon for the price of the oil change around $44 and was told this was the price. After being given the final price, the total was $10+ more expensive. Im a teacher and i know that taxes arent 20% so again Im confused. After looking at the bill, there were many added fees that were not mentioned when I originally asked how much the oil change would be. I have had cars for a long time now and gotten many many oil changes. I have never had an issue where added fees came with my bill and it was never mentioned.In total, they took great care of my car and I am happy with the results of my oil change, however if you wanna go here be prepared to spend more money than you are told and even with an appointment, its gonna be a wait so hope you took the day off.
I came in for an alignment on my van and they were accommodating with my time constraints and were able to finish it with plenty of time to spare. I liked the fact that they gave me a picture printout of my alignment before and after so I could see exactly what was done. Everyone was pleasant there. +++Positive experience!! Was recommended by Costco Tire Dept, they work with Costco customers and offer a discount on certain services. Also love the fact that they work with the local schools for fundraising!
It was great experience. I had to drop my parents and was out of Honda Odyssey brakes. Their team not only looked into it but fixed this with great pleasure.Thanks for adjusting the schedule and able to fix the vehicle in 2 hours. Very happy ... Thanks once again... Will visit you soon.
My exhaust started making an awful noise after I heard a loud pop while driving. Id driven past Honest 1 a bunch of times, and decided to look them up when my cars dealer told me they dont do mufflers (which is what I thought I needed). After seeing the good reviews on here, I made an appt. The service manager, a very kind and friendly Latino man (Im sorry I cant remember his name!) showed me exactly what was wrong with my car, and how they would be able to save the muffler by simply ordering a part and welding it back in place. I was incredibly happy with this, as this repair ended up being much more affordable than I expected.I feel like 90% of other car service shops wouldve told me I needed a new muffler or other costly repair and gotten me for as much as they could. But by showing me exactly what was wrong, explaining it, and demonstrating how theyd fix it rather than replace entire parts of my exhaust, theyve earned my trust. Ill be bringing my car here in the future when/if I need repair work done. Thank you!!
I always enjoy dealing with Honest 1 Auto Care. I feel like with the photos and videos you receive you can actually see the problem they are describing. Also Devin was nice enough to recommend other places that might be able to get work completed at a cheaper place. Example being instead of replacing the entire exhaust just take it to an exhaust place and have them weld it back on. That shows they do not want to rip people off.There was a miscommunication last time I was there because I had to ask about a charge on my bill and did not sign a form to have them inspect my car. When I went to pick up the car the manager did apologize about this. I also enjoyed the fact they open early and I can drop my car off before work. I trust them and will be using them in the future.
I had a easy and wonderful experience at Honest 1 Auto Care Karen was very nice and helpful and my the experience was so much less stressful. There’s only one thing my front tires were checked and I’m not sure if my hub cap was put back properly because I lost one shortly after picking up my car but it won’t stop me from being a return customer. They got the work done on our car quick and They were friendly. But after I picked it up our check engine light was still on so I brought it back and the person who worked on our car didnt run the codes and missed fixing something so now it needs to go back and get fixed again. So make sure you double check they run a diagnostic test if your engine light is on.
Honest-1 did a great job on multiple repairs we needed for our Ford Expedition. They even gave is a loaner car while the work was being done. Karen (the owner) and her staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They worked with our warranty company so we I didnt have to, and get us a great price. We will be back for any maintenance or repairs we may need in the future... A++

These guys are amazing! I brought my wifes Kia Soul in for a rattling noise. The woman at the front desk was very nice. They had a tech drive with us and then they brought it in and kifted it up. They were able to very quickly find that the shield was rusted and rattling and took it off for us. No charge and they got us taken care of right away and had us out in 15 minutes. This place was genuinely the best auto repair experience Ive ever had. Everyone was nice, accommodating, and timely. The interior, and even the shop, was clean and organized. We will definitely be back if we need our car fixed again. Thank you all for this great experience!
I was greeted by very friendly employees upon my arrival. I was helped immediately and waited for my service in a very comfortable and clean guest waiting area. Information was explained and sent to my phone for my review. My experience was excellent and I will be coming back!!
I took my car to Honest-1 after not wanting to go to Firestone because it was a headache, and the interest on their credit card is through the roof. Anyway, the people at Honest-1 were nice, and the rental car thats provided works really well for getting you to work and back home. They will tell you in laments terms what the hell is actually wrong with your car. You will not find anyone who provides better car service work than Karen and her team. Theyre all awesome, and I appreciate all the hard work thats been put into my car. They have a roadside assistance program, that works beautifully too. I just cannot say enough good stuff about these guys, and I highly recommend them.The waiting area is clean, like youve never seen a waiting area so clean. Not to mention they have snacks, and drinks, even a kurieg to make yourself a cup of coffee, as opposed to the coffee thats been sitting there for 5 hours. I mean, this is the place to go if youre going to have work done on your car.
Took my car in because I needed service to pass my emissions test. Honest-1 quoted over $500.00 but I found a competitor to handle the same service for $133.00.I requested my car back to go with the store offering the reasonable price and Honest-1 still charged me $85.00 for diagnostics after telling me the diagnostics would be free. Thats not very honest to me.I would never recommend this place. The person that suggested this place will never come back.
Thank you Karen and Honest - 1. I had the pleasure to meet Karen (the owner) as my customer and now as a friend. Her team is very honest and friendly. Called for a quote and there was no hestation on getting me prices. As a woman, auto shops are intimidating because people normally assume we know nothing about car maintenance. In my case, I really dont, so I fear I will get upspold for unnecessary services. Not at all the case here.I recommend Honest-1 to anyone. I feel comfortable and safe that my brakes were fixed and also for a reasonable price. I did my research :)
Not recommended by me at all. I was not happy with this place! First time here and the last!! The only good thing was the lady that was in the front was as sweet as can be and I feel bad that this happened. First red flag - they quoted me $150 for a diagnostics which is definitely on the high-end and then while waiting I overhear a phone call about a diagnostics and the other guy quoted $125 over the phone. After three to four hours of looking at my car they came up with two possible reasons. They say they needed more time? Well, the guy had a whole extra hour to look at it and he didnt even touch my car! Anyways, I understand that my check engine light wasnt on at time, I understand the circumstances around it but if you dont know what the problem is or can not figure it out why would you try to charge me the $120 on the diagnostics?? I did not even get an answer to the problem!! I understand that I had to pay for the time looked on my car which even that was a joke because he kept going back-and-forth. After complaining about this, they cut the price in half. Anyways I ended up going to Honda the day after and they were understandable about the situation. They looked at my car free of charge and gave me an answer quickly with proper equipment and knowledgeable Honda mechanics.
I was very pleased with how my experience went. Everyone was very courteous and very professional. I would not hesitate using them for all my vehicle maintenance and any repair. I especially liked the web page I was given that showed all the details of the work, including pictures.
I moved into Aurora last weekend from a different city with my Kia Amanti that had a check-engine light on and a loud noise from the engine compartment. This vehicle was towed down to Aurora because I did not want to risk its breakdown on the road while driving such long distance. I goggled for an close by auto shop and found Honest-1 near to my residence. I decided to give them a call and speaking with the owner, checked them out the next day. I was impressed with the reception I got and the ambience of the environment which was well set out. The owner was courteous and empathizing on my situation. I allowed them do a diagnosis on the vehicle and they found out it was one of my Ignition coil assembly which they changed on same day services. Even though that did not resolve the check-engine light but it gave me confidence from the discussions I had with them and I was impressed with their work attitude. They also gave me a complimentary Roadside Assistance on the vehiche for my patronage. I recommend this place to anyone seeking for trust and good work rate where you will be treated fairly. Honest-1 is a good place to take your vehicles to and Im retaining them
Always fair and looking out for the best for their customers. On my older car, Karen and Candae will look for the least expensive way to make my car safe and running perfectly. They are the best auto repair shop in Illinois hands down. Will never gouge you or tell you to do un needed repairs, which I have run into in several other places. Complete trust here.
This is my first google review ever, I am very disappointed that it has to be a bad one.I took my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 here to fix a engine misfire that occurred at high RPM. After almost 3 days, they finally called and said that they had found the problem. They told me that I needed two ignition coil packs. After $450 and another two days of work... my engine misfire was still there. After my visit to Honest 1, I got a quote from another shop. For the same fix, they were going to charge me only $150. The only good thing was that the staff was very friendly. I was just distraught that I found out that Honest 1 was not very honest.
Always personal service. Attention to all of your auto...not just was what brought you into shop. I leave knowing the work was done well and they have make me aware of any issues that I need to consider for followup in the future. Budgeting and planning. Certainly appreciate that the customer waiting area is pleasant and welcoming. WiFi😀
Great experience! I need a few more things done, but they fixed what was detrimental at this time. The work was done quickly. There credit cards were down, and they still let me pick up my car and leave my credit info. Thats taking a big risk, just for great customer service so I was not inconvenienced! They were very friendly and inline with what the repairs should have cost, and on in the lower side. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
Had transmission work done on my 15 year old Isuzu. They did an excellent job. Karen and Darrel the owners are incredibly helpful and take care of every customer. First time I ever had my car fixed and it was not a hassle. Affordable and friendly. Will be taking my car here from here on out!
I went to Honest-1 to have my oil changed. Normally, I have a mechanic I like using, but theyre located in another town and, with the pandemic and just needing an oil change, I figured I would go somewhere close to my house. I also appreciated that on their website they said there were precautions being taken against COVID-19, such as disinfecting touched spaces with cars, all employees wearing masks, and key drop-offs. This is the scene I walked into after realizing this location did NOT have key drop-offs:3 Employees. One, wearing a mask but not covering his nose, defeating the purpose. One sitting at a table in the lobby, typing on a laptop, mask hanging off one ear, covering none of her face. The last one had a mask on, but was talking to a customer at less than 6 feet distance about how Things have to open up, whoever gets it will get it, it feels like this is an agenda, but whose agenda?, etc. As if thousands dying around the world from a pandemic and tanking the world economy was someones agenda, but thats besides the point- The point that came across was that these employees did NOT care about their customers health and did NOT have the professional courtesy to keep paying customers safe while following the current safety regulations in place.I received a text about the status of my car later. It had a full checklist of all things noted in the courtesy inspection. One of the things it warned about was Warning light on dash. This concerned me, as there hadnt been any concerning lights on my dash when I dropped it off. I opened the picture attached. It was the warning light that let the driver know that their seatbelt wasnt on. Whether this was predatory behavior or sheer stupidity doesnt matter. Absolutely ridiculous to label it as a concern.When I picked up my car I brought disinfectant wipes with me because I didnt trust that this location was following the procedures on the website and boy was I not wrong. Clearly nothing had been disinfected because my wipes came away from the steering wheel, the drivers door handle, and the gear shift dirty.They are not following the safety procedures listed on their website and clearly dont care about the safety of their customers ON TOP OF being completely ridiculous about warning lights on my car. I will not be trusting these people with my car again and they have lost my business.
Went in for a oil change and a good look over of the vehicle for a upcoming trip. After a 20 minute wait they showed me that everything was good except that I may want to change the power fluid. I agreed to it. Other than a cabin filter I asked to change brakes, tires and everything was OK. Honest one has been taking care of my car for years. Last year I went on a 3700 mile trip in 3 1/2 weeks to Seattle, WA., California, down to Las Vegas, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and back to Aurora, IL. Prior to this trip I took my car in for some work on it and they assured me everything went well. I trust Honest 1 with my car and actually mine and families life on road trips and care of my car. Thanks again Honest 1.
I’d never purchased a vehicle before, yet alone a used vehicle. So, my friend referred me to Honest-1 Auto Care to get an inspection. Called the same day to get a pre purchase vehicle inspection, and they were able to squeeze me in for an early afternoon appointment. Cande conducted the vehicle inspection and was very thorough in his findings and explanations. I really appreciated his honest feedback and helping me understand the immediate repairs and the possibilities of unforeseen repairs that were likely needed to ensure safety. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the service that he provided. Although I live in Romeoville, I do believe that Cande makes commuting to Aurora for future car services completely worth it. I will be returning to visit him for my future vehicle needs. Thanks Cande!
Very professional and clean auto service center. Ive only just started using them for an oil change on my 2 cars because they are close to work. I went in for an AC check because it was blowing hot air and the mechs told me that I needed a new compressor. The staff was friendly and HONEST. Not only did they go out of their way to let me know exactly what was wrong but the receptionist went and found out that my car was still under the manufacturers warranty! Karen is awesome. H1 didn’t charge me a penny and I ended up not paying anything for the repairs with KIA. These people at H1 live up to their name. I’ll be going in for oil changes at this place for as long as they’re in business. Marvelous customer service. Rare in the auto mechanic world.
My car was making an odd noise under the car. The closest repair shop was Honest-1 Auto Care. Ended up being a very nice experience, friendly staff, comfortable waiting area, and fast service. The noise was a piece of insulation loose and was repaired free of charge. I would consider returning to Honest-1 Auto Care for additional service in the future.
I took a car in for an a repair a few months ago, and kept having to go back to get it solved. Total of 3 visits for quite a bit of money and a 4th visit that turned out to be oil that was spilled around my engine and leaked onto my garage floor. I brought my car in for an oil change yesterday. I drove home (approx. 2 miles), parked and about 45min later went to take my son to school. I started the car and went in to grab my wallet (forgot on the counter). I came back into the garage to find smoke billowing from under my hood. I shut it off and opened the hood. It appeared my alternator was on fire. I did not have any previous issues with the car! I called and they set up a tow back to the Honest One garage. The next morning, I called and received a quote for just under $800 to replace the alternator (which was fine before my oil change...lol). I told the rep that the quote sounded high, but authorized the work. A couple hours later, I decided to get a couple other quotes within the area, both of which came in under $400. I called Honest One and asked if they had installed the new alternator. The rep told me my old one was out but the new alternator had not been installed. I told him to stop the job and asked how much I owed to release the vehicle. He told me I would only pay the $88 for the tow, to which I agreed and paid over the phone. I contacted a tow truck to pick up my car and made a same day appointment with another shop. When I called Honest One back to make sure the old alternate was placed in the vehicle, they told me the new alternator was installed, and I would need to pay for the job. By this time my tow truck had arrived and was waiting. I was on the phone for almost 30min, with the manager (Karen), who explained the rep had been mistaken and I would need to pay in full. Ugh...After a lot of back and forth with strong arm attempts by the manager, she finally agreed to take off the new alternator and release the vehicle. Even with their tow charges (never received an invoice...lol) and another tow to the other locations, I came in approx. $380 under the Honest one quote. And, the other location is a certified Napa shop..not fly by night. Do Not Do Business Here!!Just came from the shop I had my car towed to. My dipstick handle had been broken off, but was fine last night when I lifted the hood. Turns out I still have oil leaking from the variable timing solenoid and oil pan gasket that Honest One allegedly replaced a few months ago...This new shop is Naperville Automotive Solutions...Great experience..thanks, Billy and Geoff!BTW...Went back to Honest One after getting my car fixed at the other shop. The manager, Karen gave me the towing invoice, while I was discussing the dipstick and oil leaks found by Naperville Automotive Solutions. She was enraged! Maybe read my review. The oil leaks are covered by warranty, but Im scared to take it back! Ugh....what to do.
Professional and courteous.Technicians are well trained and experienced. I conducted a Pre-owned vehicle inspection for my SUV and they were able to pin-point to a problem that seller did not informed me. Just after purchase I was hearing sound from rear brakes.They also showed me were the problem was.Because of Honest-1s diagnosis and report I was able to inform my seller correctly.Honest-1 also takes coupons so my charges were little less.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly by the staff. When they were done getting my car care needs in order I was offered refreshments. I waited in a private area where there was a TV and comfortable seating. There is an area set up for children and a computer should you have to check your e-mail as well. I had a great experience here. I am not an employee or a friend of anyone who works there. I received a flyer in the mail, then seen the company wrapped vehicle drive by my house so I thought to check it out. They even asked me to come back for tacos on November 14th...they are so nice.
Honest-1 AutoCare is the only place my daughter and I ever take our vehicles.Anything from an oil change to a complete brake job, we have always been treated with kindness, care and respect. Being a woman this doesn’t generally happen when you take your vehicle in for services. Honest-1 has been upfront about what needs to be done and keeps it professional and yet treats you like family. I won’t go anywhere else.
Honest-1 Auto Care probably saved my life. They easily spotted dangerously broken parts during what was supposed to be a basic oil change, something that Firestone completely failed to inform us about, even after many times bringing the car in for various problems. Theyve made my entire family customers for life!
Honest 1 Auto really lives up to their name. I was originally there to have a rear wheel bearing replaced. They diagnosed that I also needed a power steering hose replaced. The tech, Ross, was upfront with me and told me I didn’t have to do it right away but that I should consider it as it was leaking fluid. The quote they gave me was $220, so I asked them to go ahead and perform the work because the dealer quote I received was significantly higher. They had started the job and found out that the quoting tool they used for the job was way off because it told them it was an hour and a half job when in reality it was a 6 hour job. The real price should have been $860. However, Honest 1 said it was their mistake and stood by the original quote of $220. I don’t know anyone that does that these days. Karen and her staff were great to work with and handled a tough situation very well. They have also earned a customer for life!!
I visited Honest1 for the first time last weekend for an oil change and am impressed with their quality of service, they go by their name. They are the best among other Dealers or service centers I have visited in Naperville area. They never recommend any service unless it is required. No up-selling. The Service center manager is highly knowledgeable and answered all my questions and is eager to help customers.
Went to get an oil change, only to find that not only the owner not wearing a face mask while speaking to an elderly customer, but the front desk individual was improperly wearing his mask. It defeats the purpose of wearing a mask if your nose is not covered as well. To top it off, I get an email from them stating: “ Its getting warm - finally! Has your car been in quarantine? Take advantage of our services and specials so you are ready to keep moving comfortably and safely! We are open and following CDC guidelines.” What a joke. Will not be using their services ever again.
They have pretty good prices and great service. I have a older car and they told me what I need to get done now and later. I really liked the customer service and the free snacks. My car need something done that will take a couple of days and the gave me a really nice loaner. No complaints these guys will be the only people I will be dealing with now!
I was very impressed with the service I received at the new location in Aurora, IL. When they took over this location from the previous business they made a lot of upgrades to the office/waiting area and it looks great! The people were very professional, friendly, and informative. I, as a woman, appreciate the added explanations or suggestions. I was pleased that I was not pressured to purchase anything extra that I didnt need, but I was informed of the condition of items, such as brakes/tires, that might need service in the future. They gave me a punch card where I can earn discounts through customer loyalty. Its about time someone rewarded the ones who come back instead of focusing on getting new business. I was walked to my car and made sure everything was ok. I will be back! Excellent Service!
Zero stars! AVOID AT ALL COST! I had my breaks serviced at the Aurora location, they inspected all tires and replaced the rear pads and rotors. After have the car serviced we noticed a noise in the front right tire the following day or so. I called the venue and brought the car in. It was found that 3 of the 5 lug nuts were MISSING! I escalated with their team and was told the car left our location working fine. I then spoke to Karen about this issue and she reviews the video to inform me that everything was done by the book. No blame was taken for the negligence and no apology was issued. During my conversation with Karen she was condescending and offered no compensation or even an apology. I am beyond livid and extremely upset.
My experience here was A-1, ... I was in town for a family event and my brakes went out. My girlfriends son-in-law said he knew a place that did good work and probably could get me in ASAP, so we called Friday night, dropped the car off, and by closing on Saturday they had done both my front and rear brakes. The customer service here is EXCELLENT, they make you fell important and that you matter vs just another broken down car..... I would highly recommend this Repair shop for all your car needs.... Had an extra vehicle sitting in my driveway for a while. Took it to Honest-1 for an inspection to help decide what I should do with the vehicle. I’ve been to many auto repair places and this one takes the cake. Very friendly staff and the detail that went into providing my inspection results was outstanding. I was texted a link to a webpage giving an extensive rundown of the inspection, organized perfectly with photos, descriptions, and solutions to every part that was inspected. The photos were even edited with arrows inserted to point directly to points of interest. This place has seriously raised the bar.
My check engine light came on, and I took my car in around 2:30pm and my car was back home by 5:40pm. They gave me a ride home when I dropped it off, and they picked me up to come get my car. This is the 2nd time Ive used these services w/drop off and pick up, and it is infinitely helpful because I dont have to put out any friends or family for rides. I will always choose Honest-1 first!
Went for a routine oil change after a long road trip with two kids in tow. The waiting room is spacious and clean, and the kids enjoyed the free snacks. I would have loved to enjoy the Keurig, but I already stopped at the Starbucks next door! The owner of this location was working the desk and she was friendly and kind.I was waiting for the usual list of 100 things that must be fixed RIGHT NOW that usually comes halfway through an oil change, but all I got this time was a license plate bulb and wiper blades. Thats nice, I hate having to decline extra work while techs try to scare me into thinking Im blowing up my car by refusing to fix unnecessary things. I just want the oil changed.I will definitely return here for my next oil change, and as long as they continue NOT pushing hundreds of dollars of repairs, Ill come back again and again.
My sister has been taking her car for maintenance her and theyve done a good job. Only thing Id say is that they shouldnt be promoting 3000 miles oil changes on modern cars. Especially since my sisters car takes synthetic and goes against her oil change interval in her owners manual
I thought I was in the wrong place. Honest-1 is so clean and neat and the people are friendly and welcoming. It wasnt like other places Ive been for car repair. And, they found an unexpected issue and suggested that I go back to the dealer because it should be covered under warranty. Thank you!
Staff is friendly, competent & extremely knowledgeable! Once the problem has been identified, they allow you to see for yourself the issue. They take the time to give you a detailed explanation of whats wrong w/your car. They are patient & allow you to ask any questions to ensure you are comfortable w/the work being done. The waiting area is clean & inviting.
I have a 2001 Nissan I take it in to this Honest -1 Im very very very Disappointed with their work it cost me almost $5000 to work on my car And Im still having problem with it I took it in to fix the problem for the emission test I failed 2 time emission test. I found loose gas holes yes my car was Leaking gas I fix that problem because if I take it to so call Honest-1 I maybe be Paying a other $300 dollar to the car had a radiator Leak Hones-1 was Charging me $775 dollars to fix that .I took my car to a other auto Place they Charge me $200 To fix the part with labor so I save $575 dollars now they are Honest with the price and with the people the only Honest-1 is Honest about is with robbing people Honest -1 in Naperville suck you damm Rip off people be very careful when you take your car to Honest-1 sooner or later you will pay to much to fix your car since I took my cat to them all I have was Problem with the car so much problem that they say they can fix a problem and you will have just more problem look for a other auto place before you Decide to take it to honest-1 if you do take it to them first ask for how much it will cost you and then take it to a other auto place .I took my car to Elite automotive at Aurora and lake they are way better in price and there work is very good I Highly recommend them they are very Honest..Honest-1 you need to Change your name to rip off.
My truck was brought in for an inspection of a fluid leak. When i went to pickup they told me the gear shift cable broke while it was in their shop. I waited for days to hear back and when i did, the owner called saying it wasnt her teams fault and I would have to pay for 50% of the repair. I asked if she would consider lowering the labor charges and she proceeded to start yelling at me saying she doesnt have money growing on trees and she cant do anything more for me. She also insinuated that I couldve set her up and I was just trying to get a free fix. But NOTHING was wrong with my gear shift when i brought it in. This is such an awful way to treat a customer.
So where to start. I had family go here for small repairs brakes, tires, spark plugs, lights and some exhaust repairs. They ended up not using cause they got second opinions and other shops to look at the repair work and ever time the price was significantly cheaper. Im talking from a 1000 dollar repair down to 400. The PROs to using them isnthe staff is nice and the facilty is well kept. But my family and i will no longer be using there services. They are the most expansive shop in are area. So i would suggest others to use different shops as well.
I took my 2008 Mercedes E350 here and had a cv axle replaced and engine mounts replaced. They did great work at a substantially lower price than other independent benz shops in the area. They also provide a 3 year guarantee on the parts and labor. Nobody else comes close to this guarantee. Yes, I will be coming back here for any other repairs. They even provided me with a loaner car. Highly recommended!
Great customer service, friendly atmosphere. The staff explain in detail whats wrong with your vehicle, and show you the area or part of the vehicle that needs attention. It gives you a peace of mind of what exactly you need without paying any extras of unnecessary repairs.
Shockingly bad, even criminal, conduct. This shop sent my son on his way with a life-threatening oversight. When he returned, they covered up the damage they had caused. Only after he took it to an independent shop did they own up to what they had done and offered a new wheel to replace the one they’d destroyed.Ultimately they ended up stealing the wheel they had damaged, demanding $400 for its return.Stay far, far away. The deviation from ethics that we experienced is shocking.
Karen Conway (owner) and team claim that they are honest and transparent with their customers, however they are far from that. They did an extremely poor job on my vehicle and Karen denied that possibility even being an option - so much so that Karen accused me of maliciously setting them up by draining my coolant and letting my car overheat. Additionally, Karen could not hold a constructive discussion regarding my concerns over the phone and rudely hung up on me several times - which is a sign of unprofessionalism. It is unfortunate that Karen, owner and leader of this business, is ignorant to the fact that there is much room for improvement in customer satisfaction and quality of work. With Karen at the helm as owner and leader, Honest-1 Auto Care Aurora has, at best, peaked as a business and will plateau, but their service and business will most likely decline. Karen Conway, if your goal is to truly be “different” and pride yourself on customer satisfaction, you MUST reflect upon your current deficiencies in order to learn and grow as a business. Until then, you have lost my business and potentially the business of those standing by and reading this review.
Love this place! The techs are friendly and actually take the time to not only explain to you what is wrong with your car, but actually SHOW you so you can see it with your won eyes. The waiting room is bright, clean and inviting. And, it even has free WiFi! I highly recommend this shop.
They charged my girlfriend 90 dollars to secure a splash guard under her car. As someone who works on cars for a living thats absolutely ridiculous. If she was at home and not at work, my shop would do it for less than half of that. Unprofessional, charging 3/4 hour of labor for a quick 20 minute fix.
They didnt use a funnel to pour the oil because there was oil all over engine bay as soon as we checked after it was done. There was oil all over our car steering wheel and gear shifter and our napkin was black after wiping it all. It took 50 minutes when we had an appointment and they didnt even give us a report which it said they include for how the belts and systems are all doing and tire preaaure..never again
They couldn’t fix the problem with my 2014 Ford Fusion, but they were honest and upfront about it and I wasn’t charged anything despite my car being there for a few days. Disappointing that my problem wasn’t resolved, but they were honest about it and I would probably go back.
I went in this morning because I smelled what I thought was burning brake or transmission fluid, so I was prepared for the worst. Turned out to be a plastic bag. I know a lot of shops that would have found SOMETHING to charge me for, but not these guys. Didnt even charge for diagnostic service. Good move, because I will definitely be coming back.
The owner Karen is very involved in the business and accommodating to fit your schedule. The oil change was fast and Conde the service advisor is friendly. The interior is very clean with keurig coffee, bottled water, and snacks. There is a separate kids play area as well as comfy leather seats with TV for adults. This place has free xfinity wifi and a e-machine to surf the web (very slow). I will bring my other car for oil change and maintenance.
My wifes van needed air in the tires due the change in weather. I sent her here because it was convenient and they drop off cards all the time for advertising. They put air in and the light was still on. They told her the tire pressure gauge in the tires were bad. Now keep in mind there is a sticker on the door with the amount of air needed and the dash also said how much the tires should be at. I took it to Tires Plus and the tires were still below the threshold. After the guys at Tires Plus in Oswego put the appropriate amount of air in the tires the light went off and has been good ever since. How can I trust these guys at Honest-1 to fix a car when they cant fill the tires correctly?
Definitely get a second opinion. They gave me an estimate of more than double than what I received from other places. A few weeks later my boyfriend went there for a quote and the same thing happened to him. They will give you the highest estimate they can and expect you to pay it. Be very very very careful. The people were friendly though if that means anything.
HORRENDOUS place. For your own safety, please DONT take your car here. I had an axle replaced by them and it broke a month later, leaving me stranded in the middle of the road (because when an axle breaks, there is absolutely no indication its about to happen. It just happens, and you are unable to move in an instant). After the first axle breaking, they replaced with a 2nd axle free of charge. That axle ALSO broke a few months later as I was making a left turn. As a result, I was was completely stuck in the middle of oncoming traffic. That is TWICE that I was caught in what could have been a deadly situation as a result of the negligence of Honest-1. They neither apologized for the mistake, nor refunded me for the original cost of the axle.By the way, this place over-charges big-time. My current mechanic charges just over $200 for an axle repair, whereas Honest-1 charged me a whopping $500.Yeah, I learned my lesson! Dont let their smiles and amenities fool you at Honest-1, its all a facade; a money-racket.
Far from honest!!!!! Please save your money, will charge arm and leg for simplest parts. Even if the parts are actually working. Tried to charge me almost a thousand dollars for accessory belts, starter motor and battery cables. Which when bought myself was under 150 dollars.
People were very friendly but they dont check behind their workThey left my lights on which killed my battery came and asked me what was wrong with my car . The next day my check engine light came on I took it back they said they had knocked a hose loose which caused the light to come on they corrected their mistakes but I now have reservations about using them again
Everyone here is wonderful. They are incredibly attentive and helpful. If you have questions about anything they will sit down with you to explain what they are doing and what you might need to complete in the future. I will absolutely come back to them again in the future.

When I was called and told the car was ready, I went and picked it up, drove around the lot for a few minutes and only felt warm air coming from the vents. Sean and Craig hooked it back up to the AC diagnostic machine but were unable to figure out what the problem was.I could not leave my car with them as I was taking a vacation the next day, hence the importance of the AC working. But to be honest, I didn’t want to leave it with them either. I was starting not to trust them with the second most expensive thing I own.My final complaint is that no coupons or discounts were offered to me, even though their website and mailers mention a $50 discount on repairs over $500. When I called them to see if they would still honor the discount, Charlie told me they would not. If I wanted the discount, I had to ask ahead of time. That does not seem forthright to me at all.Naperville Automotive Solutions has always been my go-to for car repairs. I just figured since I already had the oil change scheduled I would see what Honest 1 could do for me. After this experience I will not be returning. Not even for an oil change. But hey, they saved $50. I guess that was worth it for them.

2022-06-17*Edit to original* Owner and customer service rep did reach out to me following this review. They offered to have the car brought in again to be looked at. I unfortunately had lost trust and declined. I appreciated their effort to contact me.Had issues with my brakes/rotors 2 years after having them done here. Almost exactly 2 years later, but still within the 2 year/mileage warranty coverage perimeters, rotors were already producing a noticeable pulsating sensation when braking. I was told the brakes look great and they felt nothing. I was completely surprised as it was quite noticeable to myself and others. The shaking issue was not investigated further. I could not trust my car sitting in that garage any longer and picked it up. Another shop down the street I routinely go to noticed this deterioration a week prior. I will be bringing my car there from now on.

2022-07-08We had electrical issues with our car and needed to get car fixed and seen to quickly. Charlie and his team were kind, courteous and knowledgeable about what was going on and fixed the car for an extremely reasonable price and solved our issue . So thankful to have found this business. Will definitely be using them again as needed.

2022-04-22Chose Honest 1 because of the honesty and professionalism, had them change my break pads and rotors and tighten my handbrake.They did a good job on the brakes however my handbrake was not tightened. I was pretty displeased but was later called by Karen, the owner, who was very kind and eager to resolve the problem which is being actively worked through. Aside from the handbrake, their communication with me has been personal and thorough which I appreciate sincerely.

Love the service and how profesional they are. 2022-02-05They also did an overall inspection and test drive. Started going here after I received a mailing because we moved into the area. They had previously helped me (at no charge) with a message that had not been properly cleared by another shop that changed the oil and on a second occasion helped clear a Low Tire warning by checking air pressure of all four tires. Their willingness and friendliness (especially Charlie) were most appreciated and the reason that I cam back for service for which I could pay them. Got me in and out in the time and CHARGES explained prior to me coming in for service.

2022-04-10Had an emergency with my car. Smoke coming out of the engine caused by a coolant leak. Since this is closest auto shop near me, I trusted them because my parents come here often. Brought my car here at closing hours and they fixed it the end of next day. Had to replace my starter and a serpentine belt because coolant leaked onto it. They also fixed my check engine light even though I never mentioned anything to them about it.Friendly staff that explained everything to me on the situation and gave me a fair enough quote. After a few months passed thereve been no problems related to the repairs that were made.

2022-06-21I have been coming here since this place open. I was happy with services until they start lying and over pricing people. I got new brakes done here but it’s still squeaking, they told me it’s normal for the noise cause it’s new. Two months later still doing it. So I have my coworker son that works with Merlin to look it up and he told me they didn’t put the brakes properly and used cheap pads that’s why it makes a lot of noise also it’s very unsafe to drive it.He replace the pads and it fix the noise. It cost a fraction to me compare how much it cost from this shop to do it. So I will be one of many customers this place loss.

2022-04-28We always have a great experience at Honest 1. We’ve been taking our vehicles there for years and Carin and her team treat us like family. They did an oil change and service check on our car before we take a long trip and I highly recommend them. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Woman owned and operated!
