Positive: The staff was very nice and accommodating. Negative: There were good crumbs on the hide-a-bed and tobacco and ashes on one of the beds. The breakfast was pretty nasty (potatoes were raw and sausage was mushy inside, knats crawling on the bagels). No restaurant advertising or phone books in the room.
Positive: Staff at registration are friendly & courteous, but they lack of custodial to clean room & we have to request towels most of the time. The place was quieter due to around it was a cemetery. Maybe I will go back if its the only hotel available. Negative: Only lacking staff custodial.
I know many places that might be shorthanded with staff. And many are overworked just to cover the job. This is my experience at this one place that I stayed for two days due to a funeral I attended. Staff was short-tempered and stressed out. As for the hotel everything was good disappointed that they didnt have any breakfast come Monday morning.
Very beautiful place . Nice people till check out. Found a car parked between my car and the next car in the Handicapped cars. Told front desk and the girl there told me it was her car. I asked why she parked there she said she always parks in the handicapped parking. Told her that was wrong and she said she has 1/2 hour left on her shift. Told her it is never right to park there . It is for the handicapped like me. She still kepped saying that she has a 1/2 till her shift was over. It is bs thats she thinks it is OK to park there. Safe didnt work. Told that every room has there own . They had to fix it. it didnt even have batterys in it. Nice that they fixed it but told this happens all the time.
Road noise is a big issue here! …. Every trip we have taken has led us to a Holiday Inn this by far is the Worst! Arrived last night 6/21 walk in and for it being fairly new- not up to par with other Holiday Inns. For over $100 a night we get dirty floors- whoever cleaned did not do a good job- mirror in bathroom broken paint chipping all around the Window….. Tissue box empty after one pull- shouldn’t this be checked and replaced….
I was there last night Friday March 11-2021, the girl that was in front to the desk (Friday around 9PM) told me that I was luck because it was the last room available, I gave her my member number, ID and credit card for my company, she told me that I need to wait some minutes and then told me that the room is ready but the cost will be 175 USD, because it was my last opportunity I took the room only for one night (room 321), the next morning I realize that the reservation is not in my mobile app, so I go to the desk and request the receipt, to my surprise the room was not to my name, the man that is in the front told me that was reserved for a third part and he can not do anything to fix, even I explained that I did the reservation on his desk last night, and he gave me an invoice for 207.7 USD that was for 2 night. So I am very disappointed, that is unbelievable that happens in Chicago and obviously in Holiday Hotels!!! I have to claim for a official letter from my company to this hotel.
No parking for our car so pulled in front and went in to ask were to park my car, he said just to leave it there in the front. I asked, are you sure it wont get towed and he said no, I guess well see in the morning lol.Its a shame two hotel chains will share the same parking lot thats made for one place of business not two!
Front desk staff has no clue what kind of rooms they have at the hotel and the website doesnt illustrate this either. Suites shouldnt be in the name of this hotel- you wont find a single multi-room room here, merely average sized rooms that happen to have a couch. Dont book here if you are looking for a suite, and good luck finding this information anywhere else.
Couldnt find remote control. Was under the bed, as was an empty pop bottle. Candy wrapper in plain sight next to microwave. Soap bottles empty. No bag for ice box. Staff were great but way overworked-one staff on a Friday night? Hallway was gross, next to elevator was ... see photo.
Overall a hotel I like to stay from time to time.Clean rooms, good management and a good connection to ORD.Beds are comfortable and if you sleep in direction to parking quiet.Only nightmare is that everything at breakfast is made of plastics. This is non sustainable and harms the enviroment - and coffe tast like plastic.
This is a fairly new hotel. We had suites and its pretty roomy. Beds are comfortable. Wish the bathroom can be a little more spacious, but its functionable. Staffs are friendly throughout the hotel. Free breakfast is a plus, with slightly changing menu daily. Serving and dining area were kept clean. Will come back again if we visit the area in future.
I will say I was pleasantly surprised on how easy my check in was even though my arrival was delayed a few hours. The room was clean to the max. Water pressure a little low but nothing to complain about. My heater/ac worked perfectly. Breakfast was really nothing special but we weren’t there to eat. Airport wasn’t that far away and yes they had a shuttle however we had a rental.
Everything was great! Room was clean, modern and had little touches that were so helpful. There were coat hooks, a large built in bench for suitcases, usb chargers by the bed and a large shower just to name a few. The room was super clean and so comfortable. The only thing I can fault on, and its a minor little thing, was I wish real oatmeal was made for breakfast instead of instant packets.
Nice updated room with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is close to the airport and more than likely caters to a number of jet setting travelers. It would have been nice to have grab n go breakfasts or something for the guest with early flights before the continental breakfast area opens.
I recently was on a business trip and had the pleasure of staying in your hotel. The staff were helpful and nice and very patient because I couldnt find my debit card when I got there. It took several minutes for me to dig through everything, but I found it. The staff just kept telling its ok and to take your time. When Im in the area again Ill be staying there again.
Average room. I ended up with 2 full size beds instead of the 2 queens that I booked but they were comfortable, I just like a little more room. If you spend the majority of your day running around and only use your room for a place to sleep like we do, this works fine. I didnt use the pool or exercise facilities. Decent breakfast.
Amazingly priced hotel just outside of the city, and super close to the airport making it convenient if you’re looking for a less expensive place to stay. Check in was super quick (they let me check in early) Breakfast was delicious, and always hot and fresh with plenty of selection (shoutout to the sweetest breakfast attendant Gloria. She’s a highlight for this hotel.) Rooms are spacious, and beds are super comfortable. Can’t recommend this place enough. Stay here.
I always stay at this hotel when I visit Chicago- which is quite often. Its typically clean although it did seem a little neglected this time, although it wasnt a total deal breaker. I would recommend that they clean the carpets and the bathroom as both smelled quite musty, which i was very surprised about because its typically extremely clean. The more disappointing part of my stay was the breakfast - the breakfast area closed at 930am. This is absurdly early. The hotel directly next door, where my entire family stayed for a family event that was in town had a breakfast that closed at 10am. And, to add insult to injury, I was the only person in my party that payed for your (more expensive) hotel, yet I was sneaking next door to take advantage of the better hours, better breakfast options, and better breakfast quality. This obviously left a bad taste in my mouth about your hotel, no pun intended. I hope you do better next time, or at least as good as the much cheaper hotel that is directly next door.
The reason why I stayed here again is because I had a good stay during my previous visit. Still very friendly atmosphere with the front desk and breakfast staff. The bed and room are still comfortable and its really close to my jobsite. The property is far enough from the main highways, its actually rather quiet. My only wish was that they had the cinnimon rolls, lol!
Hotel is clean, relatively modern experience - very comfortable bed, room has a 50 in. class HD television and no less than three different integrated outlet/USB stations. Evening desk staff was not very experienced - morning front desk, Maria, absolutely wonderful to deal with. Acceptable hot breakfast options. Close enough to OHare, but for the price? Would probably stay somewhere else with more options next time.
Let me start by saying the staff was very polite and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was less than desirable. Everything that was offered as part of the hot breakfast did not look appetizing. The sausage patties were sitting in a pool of water and grease. The eggs were watery and the bacon was charred beyond consumption. I was also harassed by another traveler in the parking lot for money and then again by the same person to buy them beers. The hotel staff was notified and the police were called. I mostly will not be staying here again.
It was a good, clean hotel. The check in process was easy, and the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was really good too. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and a few others things. The pancake maker was super cool though. You just puahed a button, and it made 2 pancakes and dropped them off a conveyor belt for you. Its pretty close to Chicago too if you want a cheaper place outside the city. Definitely would stay again.
Maria at the frost desk was very rude, corporate needs to take care of this property and the employees about the behavior, totally unacceptable. Ruined the experience staying in this hotel. I was in the first floor and they had the machine room door open all night and day and I couldn’t sleep. My 2 year old daughter couldn’t sleep at night because of it. I arrived early and seen the house cleaning was already cleaning the first floor, but made me wait until check-in around 3 even though I did the check in the night before. The room was night very clean and loud noises out side the door. Save your money and book somewhere else. Don’t come to the property at all.
My husband and I spent a night here at this new hotel near the OHare airport. We were greeted pleasantly by Anthony Chhim who efficiently checked us in as well as gave us suggestions for restaurants in the area. When we returned from the restaurant, he greeted us and was happy that we used one of his suggestions and were very pleased with our meal. The following morning, we were greeted at the front desk by Gunjan Desai who pleasantly and efficiently answered many questions my husband had about this new hotel. We stay in many IHG properties but rarely are we served by such outstanding employees as these two.
Don’t park here unless you want to fall and break something. Ground is icy and there is no salt. Almost fell walking to my car after having to pay for a cab because they did not want to pick me up from the airport even though they had 2 hours before the shuttle was done picking up. Website says they stop at 11. Turns out it’s 9 for them.
The Hotel is a new property. Overall stay was comfortable. The hotel is clean, nicely maintained, close to the Airport (4 miles approx.). The bathroom is a bit smaller than comparable hotels. The water pressure from the wash basin was terrible, but I think thats what they had set it to by default. Breakfast served was good. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes on most of the days and pan cakes, bacon and omlette on weekends which were just fine. The check in and check out process were smooth. Parking is included. Friendly and responsive staff. We went to the Fashion Outlets Mall which is 15 mins drive from the hotel.
Overall appearance of hotel and grounds. Hotel is supposed to be new, paint missing in hall areastape and handprints on ceiling of room. Holes in bathroom wall where hook was misplaced.Hallway carpets were filthy, holes in towels and comforters. No conditioner in shower. Had to call for bedding for the sleeper sofa and we were sent to the wrong room when we first arrived. Spoke to front desk 3 times during our stay and showed pictures of the above. Were told we would be contacted by management. We have yet to be.
I stayed with my family yesterday. My brother In law reserved this hotel through what ever the expedia based on ratings and we trust Expedia. I felt so bad how she behave with the customers. Front office lady she Is having lot of attitude. First of all she don’t know how to behave with the customers. Very rude behavior. I never recommend this hotel to stay with family. When I ask her is saying she is the owner for the hotel.
We checked in this hotel on 7/32-8/1/2021 at approximately 9pm. The lobby was very full and busy during that time. The front desk employee was very king and helpful! She was a pleasure to work with. However the rooms were very dirty there was a French fry in the corner of the room, hair on the walls, and my husband even found a hair inside of his eggs at breakfast.
Customer service is poor! They treat their employees like garbage! Refuse to provide proof of taxes being taken out, refuse to provide W2-s. Also they are very unorganized, food left outside of the fridge some night, employees drink on the job and have alcohol in the break room fridge, and hidden in linen closets as well as circuit rooms.
Well, I must say I was not satisfied with this hotel. I arrived with my children late, with the time approaching midnight and had a late check-in. We were supposed to stay 6 nights but we checked out the the next day in the early afternoon. Sadly, my room had lights that did not work in the bathroom or in the small space area near the front door to the room. Additionally, this IHG hotel boasts the IHG clean promise all over the facility. However, they do not keep the promise. We all still need to keep clean standards as we deal with the pandemic. It seems like this hotel is not concerned about protecting patrons. When I discovered the issue with the lights, I then saw I had no clean towels in my bathroom and multiple sugar packets/ condiment packages (containing stirrers, mini straws, powder creamer, etc.) were open and spilled on surrounding counter near the coffee maker/ keurig machine. I immediately backed out of the dirty room. I called the night shift staff person and he provided card keys to a 2nd room. The 2nd room still had dirty towels hanging in the bathroom and again spilled/opened condiment packages on counter around coffee. The 3rd room card keys were requested by me from the night staff person… spilled/opened condiment packages were seen around the coffee maker. Bathroom was clean with clean towels and fresh soap packages this time. At this point, it’s past 1am and I need to get my kids to bed since they have a training for a competition in the later morning hours. I speak to the manager the next morning and get a FOURTH room that finally is completely clean with everything sealed and fresh. No open packages or dirty towels. I reviewed the room with the manager. I also requested a refund for at least the 1st night because of all the issues. The manager was adamant about having solved the issue with a 4th clean room. The manager then said that since my purchase was through a third party entity, no refund could be given. The manager actually had a whole back and forth with me that even included me making a call to corporate. I am still confused that I get the run around for 3 DIFFERENT rooms that had cleaning issues and then the manager actually has minimal concern to the point that she ends up basically offering me the opportunity to leave the hotel completely with a partial refund. Corporate division was not super helpful either unfortunately. The manager pretty much offered to have me and my family get a refund of only 5 of my 6 nights sadly. I’m glad we chose to leave in the end but I did want all of the money refunded. I never have had to actually argue with management before. We were on a recorded line discussing this and the manager was completely unconcerned about being understanding, respectful, or fair. This manager actually “argued” with me over an issue that was the HOTEL’S FAULT… IT WAS A SIGNIFICANT SHORTCOMING OF THE HOTEL. It was super unfortunate that the IHG clean promise was not upheld and I’m so thankful we managed not to get sick. I do not recommend this hotel and I do hope some customer service and sensitivity training is given to the management of this location. I can say the floor staff was helpful when possible… but they need to do quality assurance checks fo cleanliness of rooms before they announce the rooms as being ready or available to patrons.
This hotel is a newer property close to the airport. Unfortunately our room had been poorly cleaned prior to our stay with dirty water spots on the wall in the bathroom, used dental floss on the counter and crackers shoved into the air conditioning unit. There were only 2 towels in the bathroom and the body wash pump in the shower was empty. The room was new and modern but had a few problematic design elements like the bathroom door not being able to open all the way and when you turned on the bathroom sink the handle would hit the mirror. We did visit the pool which was crowded and had a very high chlorine content. The floor of the pool area had garbage strewn about and there were no towels, which lead to the hallway outside the pool and the elevators being wet and slippery as people dripped their way back up to their room. Breakfast had a few hot items which was nice to see, but the pancake machine wasnt working and neither was the juice machine. They did have some jugs of juice sitting out, but they were empty. They didnt have a toast or muffin choice, but instead put out some chocolate chip cookies which was strange for breakfast, but made my kids happy!I did bring up my concerns to the staff at the front desk and the woman was quite apologetic. She mentioned that they are low staffed right now which most likely contributed to some of the problems we encountered.
I loved the building-the exterior is pretty and has a nice view of green space. Our room was clean, decorated nicely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with eggs, bacon and potatoes among other great choices and the pool was relaxing and towels were provided. The price was reasonable too and just miles outside of Chicago. We had a really nice stay. I recommend this hotel!
Great if you have a car.... free parking... great bed... ok coffee... less than mediocre am. meal... transport from airport not available past 7 pm... not a smoke free property allowing smoking right at entrance to door nothing smoke free about that.. smoke free MEAN no smoking on property period.. remove the ashtrays and put up smoke free sign ..otherwise dont pretend its smoke free ....great shopping in uber or drving distance .. great for walking/exercise
The bed was super comfortable but there was road construction during my stay and our room was looking over the road, would have been nice if staff took that into consideration and placed guests in the rooms over looking the parking lot since it wasn’t full. Breakfast was ok considering most during Covid didn’t have much this was better. Coffee was hit or miss.
This hotel will make you feel like you are at home! Very nice people raedy to help you with any need you could have. It is very clean and they take very serious about what needs to be done on this pandemic times. Good job Holiday Inn Express Bensenville - OHare! keep the high standard and the great job you are doing!
The batteries in my door-lock mechanism needed to be replaced. Unfortunately they died while I was getting my breakfast. I was unable to re-enter my room. The front desk was less than sympathetic, assuring me that my key should still open the door. It did not. It took over an hour, during which a very kind maintenance worker had to literally break into my room. Who knew that the batteries could only be replaced from INSIDE THE ROOM ?!? Thankfully I was not on a tight schedule. Next time Im in the area, I will find somewhere else to stay.
So problem isn’t from the hotel , it the poor customer service at this location the lady at the front desk was incompetent and was unable toResolve any problems or come up with a resolution or option. The hotel is clean and rooms are clean as well. Beds are very comfortable, also went to get a drink from the hotel the guy was yelling at me that I had to pay money. Like that’s fine but his approach was off and he didn’t have to yell at me like I’m someone stealing or like I’m a child.
Never communicated to us that they have a shuttleThey told us to take a cab back and if their. Papaya was not available we would have to pay for our own fareVery poor check in and communicationThermostat not working Breakfast has very limited options Rooms were clean and appreciatedManager was helpful with issues
We had problems from the first time we arrived when the hallway stunk of weed. Then we entered our room to see how dirty the walls were and blinds were broke so you could not shut them for privacy so everyone could see right into our room with our 3 little girls. Maintenance was unavailable to fix the blinds until the next day. Breakfast was cold and pancake maker was “down”. While bathing my daughters and getting ready for a wedding the power goes out to just our room and maintenance took an hour and a half just to get to us to fix it, making us late for the wedding. If your looking to stay at this hotel please take my advice and stay else where. The staff only offered us 2 free sodas for all the trouble we had.
This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. As before, the overall experience was very good. This is newer Holiday Inn Express design which is more modern than older ones with clean and spacious rooms, welcoming and friendly front desk staff, hotel in good condition with ample parking spaces. The breakfast options were good considering lot of other hotels have now restricted options with COVID.
The female front desk clerk and breakfast crew were not very helpful. There was no one at breakfast to ask why half the trays were empty and it took a very long time for coffee to come out. They claimed the pancake machine was broke, but it was turned on and just said the bag needed replacement. There were no sweets where the cinnamon rolls should have been. There was also NO water offered at breakfast. When I asked the less than helpful front desk clerk where it was (since the breakfast attendant made himself invisible during breakfast) she replied With “we don’t offer water at breakfast youMust buy a bottle from us.” Unbelievable. I needed it for my daughter’s medicine. Another guest at breakfast told me she was checking out early because of the terrible experience. We will never be back, and will share with others traveling too. The shower was dirty and the mirror sharp and broken also In our bathroom.
I have stayed at this hotel many times and this place is a great stay for the price. Its always clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast this time around left a little to be desired and may have been due to COVID rules but all in all another good stay. Anytime I come to the Chicago/Elmhurst area this hotel is my choice to stay at!
Hotel was a choice. 20 minutes from airport shuttle got us there in enough time for flight coming back the shuttle was a bit rude but overall enjoyed my stay the beds where amazingly comfortable. Soon as I got in the bed the pillows put me straight to sleep so comfortable.
We picked this hotel for a quick overnight stay when we arrived in Chicago very late one evening. When we got to the hotel there was no one at the front desk. We ended up waiting over 20 minutes for someone to show up adding to our already long day of travel. The hotel and the room were fair at best and the breakfast the next morning was very disappointing.
The beds are awesome. The room was clean. The shuttle was small. There were not bkfast options for those with early flights. Overall the check in staff made up for the rest and I would stay here again. Maybe check out the elevator though, the squeaking was really loud!!
This use to be my go-to hotel. However, after staying at this hotel this past week, I was utterly shocked and disappointed. For one, staff has changed. The hotel is under new management and its probably ran by a mom and pop ownership. The previous employees were great. I recall a Latino man running guest services. However he is not there anymore. The rooms were nowhere as clean as the previous stays. This hotel is not a secret anymore. Everyone from the south side of Chicago to the south side of Milwaukee knows about this hotel now. The room didnt even have soap and Kleenex in the room. Stains were everywhere! Time to find a new hotel.
Comfortable beds. Entrance to hotel: trash cans missing lids/covers. Used coffee pod in our coffeemaker, no way was that sanitized. Window ledge, dusty in corners. Nice room darkening shades, however. Used bathroom near gym, no paper towels. I thought I read this location had a hot tub; it does not.
Positive: Check in was quick Negative: We woke up to our belongings swarming with ants. Yes our belongings. Our suitcase and all of our belongings. Then the hotel had the audacity to say their findings were negative after we took pictures. I do not recommend this hotel to any family traveling.
Gunjan Desai was the one who was there at the front desk when we checked in. She goes above and beyond with her exceptional customer service. She made sure that we had the best room, and gave us a higher floor. The hospitality of the staff is exceptional, and they make sure the customers are safe and comfortable. The check in was so smooth and quick, we were in & out in no time. The breakfast spread had ample options to choose from. We had enquired other hotels, and this was the only one with a variety of options to choose from. A 5 on 5 for these guys, and would recommend this to someone who’s traveling to Chicago, and wants to stay near the ORD airport. The hotel is just few miles from the Rosemont CTA line if you want to head to downtown, and is in the close proximity of pace bus stops as well. ORD is the nearest airport to this one. Looking for an amazing hospitality, this is your place to be.
I stayed at this hotel and I had a very bad experience.I am in a wheelchair. My mom and I fly into Chicago OHara airport late at night. We have a reservation at country inn and suites. The shuttle bus driver said they were overbooked. The problem came when we got to the handicap room. The is a bar above the toilet and a bar above that. I am small so not very strong. 105 lbs. The bar above the toilet broke when I had my hand on it. My mom had my waist but if I was by myself, I would have fell. I dont call the front desk because it was late and my mom and I were tired. In the morning, I held onto the above bar. I didnt call the front because of being tired. The next day we checked out at 11am. I told the lady at the desk the bar broke. She said she would call to get it fixed. I told her, I almost fell and I wanted the money back for the room. She said they dont pull on bars.
Positive: Nothing Negative: Room smelled like wet dog. The carpet was moist and the ac was on but the moisture in the room was terrible! This is a newer hotel and the condition of the hotel is not good! Very disappointing! The bathroom floor was dirty and sticky! Would not recommend
The hotel was clean and beds comfortable. The stafff was friendly. We had a few issues but would stay here again. The water for showers was luke warm at best, we had an issue with a toilet no flushing with just toilet paper in it, we were given a plunger and fixed the problem. The breakfast was available but at the time no orange juice, apple juice, pancake machine was not working, no yogurt or fresh fruit. On day two the did have gallons of orange juice, some yogurt and little fruit. The did offer eggs, bacon or sausage on both days but I do not eat eggs. They also had breads but no pasteries or rolls. Maybe Covid related as to getting supplies.
I’ve been to many holiday inn expresses and I have to say this was by far the best experience I’ve had. The room itself blew away my expectations. Plenty of electrical outlets for charging, big tv, very comfortable bed, plenty of places to store my luggage, and quality bathroom amenities. The room was very clean and was just the right size. In terms of the work out room. I was very impressed with the amount of treadmills and available weight options. I will definitely be revisiting this hotel. Also the staff were very friendly and I did not have any problems while staying here.
I needed an overnight stay as I was transitioning from one state to another and this property was close to the airport and major highways. This property was immaculate and practiced social distancing. The rooms are decorated well with the latest amenities like charging stations. But the gem of my experience was the bed... it was plush, yet firm and had excellent pillows and bedding. Plus the mattresses had bed bug protectors. As a person who travels a lot, a good bed is hard to find. Finally, the staff is warm and welcoming. I totally recommend this property.
Overall a good hotel. My family had stayed here in the past. I had a small flying bug problem my last stay. Also noticed some spiders in the bathroom and a cocoon spun where the ceiling and wall meet in the room. Staff attempted to address the issue with the flying bug but was not able to locate it. Turned out to be a fly which I later discovered and took care of the issue myself.
I booked 2 queen beds suites from IHG with the information thar the room would have separate living room with tables but I did not get the room specified and when I complained, the lady told me that I should have booked directly. She was kinda rude. I booked from IHG and I felt being cheated that I paid more for smaller room with higher price. Other than that, the room is comfy and the breakfast was good.
I made a reservation for 2 rooms in January requesting close or adjoining rooms & 2 months later, they were able to fulfill my request. This itself shows they will do everything in their power to accommodate you the best they can. It was overall a great experience! Anthony had a great attitude & was always helpful if needed.
First off the hotel is across the street from a cemetery. Secondly we booked this location because when we looked it up said free shuttle to the sub station how ever there is no shuttle since 3/2020 because of covid. Paid over 65.00 a day to park my car down town. The lady at the front desk was very rude, unprofessional and said “I could cancel my reservation that I booked a month in advance.” Then the room we were given had orange and pink stains on the carpet, screws came out of the foot stool. The only great thing was the breakfast.
I booked a room with a fridge because I have a small child who has meds/special foods that must remain cold. The fridge in our room wasn’t working and we let the desk person know and they told us that’s how all of them are. Gave us an extra trash can with a couple bags and said to use it for ice to keep stuff cold. I ended up going out to buy a cooler which I had to leave when we left because we had no room in the car for it. Customer service at the desk needs some attention. Breakfast was good and food was hot and stocked.
The hotel has a welcoming feel from the moment you walk into the place. A nice common area for breakfast and computer/printer usage. The rooms are quite sizable. The bed was comfortable with large pillows. The room window was large and had a lovely seat by it to enjoy the sun under. Theres a roomy standing shower. The welcoming staff was just that, very welcoming. :)
Great hotel with friendly and fast working staff was able to accommodate my arrival at 2 AM in the morning without any problems and with friendly attitude. Shower after a long ride that I had from NYC to Chicago was great, clean and comfortable as well as the bedsheets and pillows. All of my three days of stay I used almost maximum of the hotels amenities such as complimentary breakfast, TV and shuttle bus to the OHare airport. The only downside Ive experienced was messy pool area that was not cleaned up after, as I suppose, night kids party at the pool - there were no clean towels left in the area, the leftover socks and other clothes were laying around by the time the pool was supposed to be open. The dirty and soaking wet towels were on the floor. I assumed that there should be clean towels in the area and I did not bring mine so I had to go back to my room being barefoot and wet.Besides that pool experience the hotel was really good and I would most definitely stop there another time Im in the area as well as I would recommend it to my close ones.
This place was excellent from housekeeping to front desk to GM. Tia and Gunjan were great front desk and literally all the staff there and at their sister hotel next door were ALL so friendly, professional and hospitable. Clean rooms, linen, air and facilities. Decent breakfast although im not a fan of breakfast and much pork but overall a good breakfast spread. The amenties are nice. The location just depends on where you are going. But I had a very comfortable mind freeing Passover week. Thank you all for your wonderful atmosphere!
The hotel is run down for being a newer hotel. The road noise is crazy loud making a good night sleep difficult if you are a light sleeper. Our room had stains all over with the worst being a large plate sixed sticky spot by the nightstand that looked like spilled syrup. There is no way the rooms are COVID sanitized.
Love this location Disappointed with the front desk gal as she was not friendly or very accommodating. On the phone every Time we passed by her. Did not engage with theHotel guests.Too many people in the breakfast area. Not a safe environment for these times.Gals doing morning room rounds very accommodating,Friendly and efficient.
The person they had working the front desk was incredibly rude. She pulled the breakfast worker away to chat while guests were waiting. Then we wanted to swim. I went up to the desk to ask for towels (since they weren’t stocked)and she had someone get them for me. The pool area was trashed when we got there. We called the front desk and let her know that the area needed serious attention. She then tells me that they were busy the night before and that the pool was going to open late. They have already greatly reduced their hours because of COVID and that they would reduce it more was upsetting especially since she didn’t say anything when we went up to the desk. She said someone would be down to clean and that we couldn’t swim until they did. After 15 minutes no one appeared so I went back up to the desk. The front desk agent was sitting in the breakfast area eating and ignored me. One of the other employees (I think a housekeeper tall thin guy) asked what was going on and after seeing that I was upset dropped what he was going and cleaned the pool area himself. The front desk gal gave attitude as we walked past. Then later as we were losing the car, she was on speakerphone on a personal call for the 45 minutes between when my husband took the first load out and when we left she was still on the call. Other than the pool issues and this particular employee our stay was great, but I will not return to this location while that person works there.
We had an early flight out of OHare and live 4 hours away so we used the Park, Stay and Fly and it was wonderful. We didnt worry about the safety of our car at all while we were gone and the shuttle service was great, as well as the price. The hotel is new and really nice. So were all the staff members we encountered. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to parking your own car and trying to find it again when you get home!
We used this hotel as a Park and Fly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Airport shuttle was great. They leave every hour on the top of the hour but we were the only ones scheduled so I asked if we could leave 20 minutes or so early and they accommodated us with no issue. When we arrived back to the airport I called and as soon as we got our luggage and made it to the pickup location the car arrived no more than 5 mins later. Great service and clean hotel. Will recommend and stay again!!
We had an excellent experience at this property. At check in we were advised that since we were there for the tournament, food would be available earlier than usual due to the bowling schedule which was awesome! Hotel was very clean and were quick to address the weather issues we had during our stay (snow/wind/extreme cold) so the parking area was as clear as they could get it. My only issue was with the pillows...too soft but the bed was terrific! I really like that the newer Holiday Inn properties and the properties that have been refurbished have walk in showers vs. the old bathtub. Really liked that soap and hair products were in the shower in large containers and you could use as much as you wanted. I will stay here again next year!!
We have stayed here several times for medical appts in Chicago area. Staff is great and helpful, the rooms are good but this time the pool was ridiculous. Apparently the Country Inn next door had pool issues. When I took my granddaughter to the pool there were 8 basically unsupervised children in the pool. The 2 adults entered and left through the side door. Stood with the door open, it was cold. The kids left dirty socks along with other items in the pool and around the pool. They threw the towels into the pool. I had to go out to the desk to get towels. When I told them the issues, they apologized and stated these were guests from the other Hotel. I see I am not the only person that complained about this. I was there Sunday March 1st. IF you are going to open you hotel to non hotel guests you should be paying more attention to what is going on.
Outside parking lot was a death trap. There was ice and snow all over and not even an attempt to plow or salt the area. I’ve still got a nice bruise on my lower back from falling! Our room was clean. The personnel were all very nice. I could’ve done without the contact high my family and I got from the room next door. It was New Years so what could we expect.
I have stayed at this hotel twice when flying out of Chicago Ohare and both times my stay in the hotel was very pleasant. The issue that I had was that we paid extra for our room to include the Park and Fly which includes transportation to and from the hotel. The transport in the morning from the hotel was fine but BEWARE that the transportation back from the Airport to the hotel is basically useless. We wasted an hour sitting and waiting for the transport that we were promised before getting frustrated and calling an uber. The staff gave zero initial instructions for pickup and said that we would be called by the taxi company when they were close. After waiting 30 minutes and no call I called back to see where our transport was and the staff member told me that we had to go to a different location in another terminal (Which takes 20+ minutes to walk to at Ohare). The staff told me to walk there and then call back and then they would re-call the taxi and we would have to wait another 15-20 minutes for it to arrive. At that point we simply called an uber and they arrived in less than 1 minute. The hotel would not compensate us for the return in the uber. The lack of instruction and poor communication ruined the entire experience so much that we will not be staying at this hotel again. Instead they should have let us speak directly with the taxi company that they were using or provided clear concise instructions for pickup before we left the hotel.
This is a great new and modern feeling hotel just a few minutes from OHare. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was huge, not quite a suite in size but definitely larger than a typical room. Same goes for the bathroom, but I was not a fan of the sliding bathroom door design which did not lock or offer much privacy. The breakfast was great and offered a wide variety of options including a really cool pancake machine. They also have a free airport shuttle that leaves every hour which. Overall this was a comfortable and clean place to spend the night.
I wanted to have a clean and relaxing mind break away from all my stress and troubles of my commute from home and work so I decided to take a much needed get away. What I thought would be a one time thing this holiday in have made me realize that it will now be twice a month. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of all things that are ask. The service and food was great. It was just a very over all relaxing experience that I can’t wait to experience again.
We stayed here in Bensenville Illinois at the Holiday Inn Express for two weeks working on a project Surveying. This Hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff Gunjan and Anthony are friendly and very helpful. They made checking in and out easy . Ricky was very helpful with keeping the Hotel quiet for those of us trying to rest from working all day!! Thanks Ricky! I recommend this Hotel for staying long term for work or just passing through. Thanks for such Nice Accommodations. The Wiggins’
When you take the shuttle from the airport, the shuttle is not that fancy like the others and you feel that you are going to a cheap hotel. However, once you are there, the place is great. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast, the staff. You also can schedule for the shuttle to take you back to the airport on any hour you want. It is definitely worth the money.
This brand new hotel is very comfortable and has an eye on the convenience of its clientele. There are ample USB and electrical outlets, good lighting and comfortable seating and sleeping. The board room was ideal for a small meeting. The breakfast is what we expect of Holiday Inn Express. However, the staff needs more training. They do not have an efficient check in or check out system. The fitness room and swimming pool needed attention. It seems there is still construction around the hotel. This will be a great property once the staffing issues are resolved.
Great location that is close to O’Hare. The front desk staff was was kind and helpful with giving local information. The room was clean with a nice view of the roadway and cemetery. The night I had my room booked it was snowing so I was able to get a nice view of the snowfall.
Very clean and comfortable rooms, as well as hallways, elevators, and other facilities. Even a quiet neighborhood. Helpful and friendly staff. The shuttle driver and night staff at the desk were very helpful. Its nice to have a full breakfast available in the morning as well. Will definitely be coming back again soon.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and had a great attitude. The staff working the breakfast area were on top on things, not letting the food get low or the garbage to get too high. Location is very good, only a 30-40 minute drive from downtown Chicago. I would definitely stay here again.
We stated for one night at HI...normally we stay at Country Inn and Suites next door. We picked it due to great price they were offering. Staff was the friendliest as possible, fast check in. I understand it is a brand new hotel, but everything was done with taste. Very clean and kept clean. Most comfiest bed you can imagine. Breakfast choices were amazing with awesome coffee, they put Starbucks to shame! Going there again, now two nights over Memorial weekend and can’t wait!
Wish i could give this hotel 10 stars but i will rate it 10 outta 10 staff was great about accommodating us on everything waa very nice any questions we had the room was very spacious beds are super comfy they offer hot breakfast which was really great even have a guest laundry room this will definitely be our go to hotel if we are ever in town thanks for everything
This is where i stay everytime I visit my daughter in college at Elmhurst. We love this place but arent always happy about the breakfast choice each morning. This is the first time Ive stayed and have had an ant issue. I know its summer but all rooms should be sprayed regularly so that this does not happen to anyone else. The staff was so helpful and responded quickly to get me another room. I really appreciated that. My son wouldnt go to sleep because hes extremly afraid of bugs but they made sure they got us out. Thank you so much.
Room was really nice minus a few small things. The big bathroom light did not work but the other light around the mirror was enough for me. A few spots house keeping could have done a better job. They missed some stuff on the walls. My room was on the Grand Ave side. I think thats the name. You will hear road noise on this side and then the planes coming and going. The road noise was way worse than the plane traffic.
We came to Chicago for a family vacation. Pulled into our first hotel and found that the pool was undergoing construction. I called this hotel and the young man on staff at 8pm at night was just excellent! He got us into a beautiful room for a great price. The hotel is brand new and still smells new. The breakfast was delicious. The gal working that area was terrific. The front staff was beyond friendly and always there to greet you with a hello or have a nice day. The room was spacious and cozy. The tv was huge! The exterior is still undergoing construction so the driveway in was rough but the parking lot was paved and you had great access to the front entrance. We were about 20 miles to all of the activities we had planned in a Chicago and the traffic was horrific but knowing you were coming back to this hotel each night made all of that driving bearable. Our family would recommend this hotel to everyone. We spent 16 days in the road from British Columbia to Chicago and back and this hotel and Chicago were the highlights of our trip!
We stayed here before and after a trip to Europe. Nearly new hotel and everything worked like it should. Breakfast was good and included many items; not the standard waffles, dry cereal and stale bread. The coffee was actually good. Room was very comfortable and bath even had a neat nightlight! Nice for those who need a trip to the bath in the dark room. Restaurants were not real close, but within a short drive.
I stayed in this hotel on Christmas night since I did not feel comfortable staying with family during COVID,. I was impressed that a hotel in the Chicago area was serving a hot breakfast. Everyone on the staff was extermely nice and helpful. A very pleasant experience overall!!
We love the new decor at this hotel. Very fresh. However some of the electrical outlets and fixtures were not in working order. Didn’t complain because we figured that would not be easily remedied. One improvement would be to the sofa bed sleeper. We were just at another Holiday Inn that had an inflatable mattress inside the sleeper sofa. So maybe ch better than the old school flimsy mattresses! The man working at night was doing his best that night to accommodate our needs. The front desk attendant was a bit surly. The morning checkout staff member was much kinder. We also used the parking option but haven’t yet returned to pick up our car. We will update our review if it doesn’t turn out satisfactory. It was a good price and we got scheduled shuttle rides to and back from o’hare
The hotel is brand new so everything was awesome! Room was great...very clean! I like that there is a walk in shower vs. the old school bathtub. Bed was great, pillows were too soft but that would not detract from staying here again! Due to having to be at the bowling center by 7:15 a.m., the staff put out all of the hot breakfast items earlier than the normal time which was great for our team and the parents. It might not be a good thing for some travelers but the hotel is at the end of the runway at OHare. The second night we were there the pattern had planes coming in directly overhead. I was distracted from sleeping by sitting in our window watching planes land. Thats not a bad thing for me; I enjoyed watching them come in! The noise level though was not bad. I will stay here again next year for this tournament...and would stay here again if I have to be in this area of Chicago in the future!
This hotel is practically new. The staff is very attentive and the room was really nice. It seems to have everything that the business traveler needs. The bed was very comfortable and we found the room to be very relaxing. The only issues I have with this place is the location. There are no places to eat or shop near the hotel but there are several restaurants that deliver to your room. It is also a bit of a drive to Ohare but the free shuttle did get us back and forth with no trouble.
I have reviewed it before and excellent and I still do. Live coming back to this hotel. Staff is friendly, hotel is always clean as well as rooms, and let’s talk about most comfortable bed!!!Very close to many places I like in Bensenville. I will keep on staying at this property. Great breakfast every morning with so many choices, always fresh coffee or tea, not just during you breakfast. Keep up a good job guys, you rock!
Great hotel, located in a residential neighborhood. Ample free parking and easy access to the interstate. Our two double bed room was large and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is newly built and still has a new smell. The staff was very personable and check in and out was easy. It is located about a twenty min drive away from downtown and about a five minute drive from a shopping mall. The complimentary breakfast consisted of eggs, toast, cereal, coffee, muffins, bagels, sausage. Check out was at eleven. We stayed until twelve and there wasnt a problem. We checked in Néw Years eve.
They offer bacon cinammon rolls on the breakfast and they dont have them. They dont notify you that they wont clean your room due to covid in you stay 5 days of more. The front desk lady was very rude, dont anwers the questions we have, and she aswers it in a bad way
We had a good and restful night sleep. The hotel feels new and clean, the rooms were spacious with a mini fridge. They also offer to give you any toiletries you forgot for free, which saved me since I usually end up forgetting something. The shower didn’t get super hot, but they have great shampoo and conditioner bottles that are permanently placed in the shower (none of those lame sample bottles). The parking lot wasn’t huge, so on a crowded Saturday night I had to drive around it a few times to find a place to park, but not too bad. They also didn’t offer HGTV channel, which was a bummer, but they do have 3 HBO channels. The breakfast was the great quintessential continental breakfast which is a favorite of mine. On the whole it was a great stay and I’d probably go back.
Overall a good experience. This appears to be new construction so there were some minor issues with the room. Some touch up of walls were needed, patch work was missed in bathroom, outlets near bed not working, there was one on the wall close by that was sufficient. Be aware there is an active construction site adjacent to this hotel. So there is a fair amount of construction equipment moving around and some dust. Nothing major, but you should be aware.
I came to this hotel for my son birthday weekend with me my husband my son and 3 of his friends we had 2 rooms.. During our entire stay there were people in the halls ways from sun up to sun down, kids running in the hallways. Grown adults arguing yelling fighting using strong profanity. I called the front desk she acted like it will get resolve and it didn’t, it got worse.. this was my worst experience ever and i will never ever return to this location and i sure will never refer this hotel to anyone..
Definitely was impressed with the Holiday Inn Express staff...very friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night, so was unable to use the pool or fitness center. Breakfast was better than most comparable hotels Ive stayed. No ice machine on the first floor was my only complaint, but a short elevator ride to the second floor wasnt a huge problem. Will most definitely stay again when Im in the area.
What a nice hotel. The bed was COMFY. It was clean. The shower was nice. The breakfast was also good. Did all the Holiday Inns get new beds? This is the second Holiday Inn Ive stayed at that had a SUPER comfortable bed. Beat the heck out of the trash bed I slept in at a Country Inn and Suites a few days earlier! Because Im not familiar with the Chicagoland area, I didnt realize how far this was from Downtown. But I think that was a bonus, it was pretty quiet - minus the planes. :)
The room was great. The service was great. The breakfast was great. Parking was great. Yet, there was one thing wrong- the pool water was cloudy for my two day visit. It did not seem healthy to go in.I do highly recommend this hotel. I expect that the pool water will be cared for soon.
Great place to stay! The staff were very helpful. The rooms rooms were clean and the bathroom was spotless. great sleeping beds. A great variety at breakfast for you to choose from. The servers made sure the food was plentiful and hot. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I am a Platinum Elite Member and reserved two rooms at the Holiday Inn Express, Bensenville IL one month in advance for my daughters 10th Birthday. I contacted the Hotel & IHG directly (via phone) on several occasions, communicated my situation, followed their directions to ensure connecting room accommodations. ALL representatives told me every time there would be no problems to do so. Connecting rooms were extremely imperative due to the fact we were caring for some of my daughters friends overnight & their parents were of the understanding they would be closely watched for safety reasons. We arrived and to my disbelief, our rooms reserved were NOT CONNECTED and actually down the hall from each other! Frustrated & stressed to say the absolute least. Subsequent to the staffs best efforts and after over a hour delay checking-in, they were able to provide two rooms across the hall from each other. All parties responsible for my connecting room reservation FAILED! Never have I experienced such disappointment in all my stays at Holiday Inn properties. As I checked out the next morning, the front Desk Manager Tia offered me 500 additional reward points for my inconvenience, which is equivalent to a drink & a snack. Thats the best they can do for a Platinum Elite Member for such a reservation FAILURE on their end!!!? I expect more from such a reputable establishment...
Booked this hotel due to it advertising a hotel shuttle. During check in I was then informed that they in fact dont have one but they would try to leave a message with the manager who already left for the day. I was mad the entire night.Inexperienced a few other disappointments but they made up for it a bit when they ended up getting me a taxi in the morning.
I stayed two nights at this hotel which looked brand new. The staff at the front desk was very helpful as well as those taking care of the breakfast area. If I return to this area I will stay at this hotel again, the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I used the free airport shuttle which was on time and very convenient.
If we are to base all Holiday Inns on this location then Holiday Inn is not a hotel I would choose anymore. This is a new location and its definitely got some kinks to work out. The door to our room was cut so that we could see light from the hall and from the hall you could see into the room. We had to stuff towels in the door for privacy. We informed the clerk. The door to the bathroom was also cut incorrectly and wouldnt even close. They obviously knew this was a problem since the strike plate was missing in order to be able to even shove the door shut. The shower doors also didnt work properly one you could barely move and the other wouldnt stay closed. There was soap gunk all over the shower. The hallways were extremly dirty, apparently the vacuum cleaners at this hotel are also broken. We had to get ice on the 2nd floor which was also a mess. The doors to the electrical room were wide open. The floors were a mess on the second floor as well. The pool was cloudly and looked gross. There were no laundry facilities. Forget getting an extra pillow anytime we asked they never had one and at one point they told me it was a new policy for holiday inn to not put extra pillows or blankets in the room. Well that is not a great policy. The breakfast was dissapointing. The trash cans were filled to the brim...all of them, and there were about 5 different ones. The cinnamon rolls were never in there. Breakfast was supposed to run until 930 and by 9 they were pulling items and shutting doors, and complaining that her manager told her she needed to be closed on time. I definitely would not return to this location. I certainly hope this doesnt represent the trend at all locations. Dissapointing since its a new hotel.
We stayed here prior to leaving on vacation using the Sleep Park Fly option. It was a great way to travel. The room was clean and comfortable. We left our car in the lot while we were gone for 7 days with no problem at all. Shuttle service to and from the airport was prompt. This is a great (easy) way to start and end your vacation.
This is a brand new hotel, and as with all new businesses, there are kinks to work out. I spent a lot of time in the lobby area. The staff was courteous and very patient with demanding customers. They took care of issues the best they could that was the fault of contractors. The architecture was modern and comfortable. Spaces of community and privacy. One employee stood out above the rest. Our breakfast attendant, Michelle B. served us well. She smiled and was friendly. Kept the food supplied and the counters clean. She took the time to answer questions I had about the area. She seemed to be a hard worker and great at customer service. We appreciated a facility that is pet free, with our needs it is hard to find these days. The proximity to OHara was perfect, a quick commute but far enough the air noise was minimal. Thank you. We will be back when in the area.
We stayed here because it was close to our grandchildrens swim meet. The initial reaction was positive. The lobby was clean and bright and check in was expeditious. Our room was a King suite and met expectations. We rated the breakfast only average because the egg dishes looked like they had been sitting out for a while and the sausage gravy (no biscuits) was cold. Also the bacon was severely undercooked and not edible. It looked raw! I would stay here again, but hopefully have a better breakfast experience.
The only complaint we had was that the housekeeper (male) just used his key to come in our room to bring us a bottle of shower gel. He didnt knock or announce his entrance. We had our 2 teenage daughters with us and if they were changing clothes I would have been upset. I know your thinking change in the bathroom. However its a private room and he just came in. Kinda creepy
This is the second time I stayed at HIE Bensenville location. My previous stay was 3 months ago. My first impression was very positive and I had made up my mind that whenever I visit Chicago I will definitely stay at this hotel. This hotel offers everything a traveller would love to have like, very spacious clean rooms, comfy beds/pillows.clean and spacious bathrooms and noise free rooms. Breakfast choices are very good. Front desk Agent was very courteous and welcomes you with a smile. Overall my stay on both occasions exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay again on my next visit.
Check in was smooth, however the valet trolley had coke cases stacked on it so we hauled our luggage up without it.Even though it was over 90 F, no water dispenser is in the lobby to greet guests after a long hot drive. Neither are warm cookies in the evening. The room was clean, beds were fine, pillows fine. Clean towels every day were much appreciated. The room refrigerator does not have a freezer section and is not easily adjustable. Consequently things were not cold enough and nothing was frozen. Breakfast was IHG standard with the addition of 2 choices eggs and 2 choices of sausage or bacon which was nice. Breakfast area was well stocked and everything is in working order.Pool area was fine, but the workout room water was empty. Finally, at check out the desk clerk, Tia, refused to print a receipt when requested. When pressed she insisted that a receipt would be available on on the app or I could go home and print one myself. When guests request a receipt it should be provided. In my case I had to leave without verifying the stay was on points and that there were no unexpected charges. At that time I was unable to access the receipt in any of the ways Tia wanted me to and refused to be helpful. Terrible customer service and downright rude.Although the location was convenient for our purposes, I would not consider booking another stay at this property. We will stay elsewhere.
This hotel is located close to OHare airport. The facility is new. Rooms are clean, staff was really nice and helpful. The only negative I could give if you could call it negative is that the breakfast was basically the same both days. Other hotels in the area vary breakfast on the weekends. The price was very competitive, overall I would give it 5 stars.
After traveling over 8 hours on the road, you want to just take a shower, turn the TV and relax. Unfortunately, that wasnt my case. After putting my belongings in the room, unpacking and taking a shower, Im ready to relax and watch TV. The TV has no signal and doesnt turn on with any available channels. I do what any person would do, check the back of the TV, turn it on and off ( after waiting 5-10 seconds). Still NO action. I call down to the front desk and let them know that the TV doesnt work. Instead of changing my room, you begin to troubleshoot the problem over the phone!. Remember, Im tired and just want to relax. So for the next hour and a half we troubleshoot with no resolution!.. Then the manager on duty states that there may be a blown fuse. ( Again, I dont care, I just want to relax) Needless to say, I watched TV on my computer. Super disappointed. Im a gold elite member and used my points for my stay. Is this how you treat your reward members?? I have told all my friends and family not to book there stay with this company.
I give this hotel two thumbs up and perfect marks. The room was great, the lobby was great, the breakfast was great, Staff was helpful. We were absolutely blown away we were so impressed with this hotel. Weve stayed at other hotels across the country, and this by far was the very best hotel experience weve ever had.
Hotel was very nice. Comfy beds and pillows. Super clean and modern. Cinnabon rolls were fabulous for breakfast. Downfalls...parking was not fun (2 hotels share a small lot-2nd night we parked on the street), have to ask for internet password and bedding for couch.....other than that it was a very nice place to stay and would definitely stay again!

2022-04-21First time stay for me and my parents who came from India for a night stay. Hotel is 15-20 mins away from ORD. Check in process is easy. One elevator is not working. So had to stand for a while each time we had to come down/up. Room was clean and tidy. Good comfort. we felt refrigerator was not that cool. Only thing I didnt liked is sleep quality - at around 10pm onwards i could listen to lot of noises from other rooms - loud talking - walking thru the corridor which made my sleep not a good start. But overall good. Breakfast - selection of items is average .. not a great one but can manage for a night .. Coffee is awful .. they were using plastic plates, can use paper plates instead ... Staff was helpful during breakfast time ... Check out was easy too - I am IHG Platinum member and redeemed points but they charged me dollars - I observed it on my stmt and called hotel in 2 days - They acknowledged the mistake and initiated a refund...still waiting for that money ....it has been 2 days since my phone call.. will give 3-4 days more time and check ... Ample parking space - this hotel is close to many grocery stores like Jewel Osco ... overall good for a night or 2 stay ..... can improve on breakfast items ..

2022-02-12This hotel was ok, but not quite up to the standards I expect for a holiday inn express. The walls are thin, you can hear road noise as well as conversations in rooms nearby. The room itself was a nice size, with comfy beds and plenty of pillows. The bathroom wasnt quite as clean as I would prefer. There were dark hairs in the shower/tub as well as on the floor. The breakfast was lackluster, but I settled for cereal and called it enough. The front desk gal was very helpful, and the shuttle driver was nice.

2022-01-04When I dropped off my car for the airport parking, service was great and the free shuttle arrived promptly and was very efficient. The return was awful though.I was told the all white unmarked shuttle would pick me up at 3:00pm from door one at the bus and shuttle center. I was waiting outside between 2:50 -3:10 No shuttle came so I called the hotel and was told he was on his way still. Thirty minutes went by and still no shuttle so I called back. I was polite to the receptionist Venus and she told me he has my number and will be there shortly. At 4:21 I called again, slightly more frustrated as I had been waiting for over an hour. I was told again he would call me. At 4:27 I called again got told it wasnt an all white unmarked shuttle but actually had country wide written on it. Venus the receptionist was clearly growing less patient and was getting snappy. She then proceeded to tell me that he collected 7 people at 3:00pm from the door I was standing in but I never saw 7 people get on the shuttle at 3:00pm I have now been waiting for 3 hours, the receptionist Venus is no longer picking up the phone and I have no idea how I am going to get back to my car. I am seriously disappointed at the lack of communication and lies that were told to me. I have asked multiple employees at the airport if this is the correct waiting area and it is.

2022-05-19We ended up at this hotel because our original hotel was over booked. Even though we had reservations. However, this hotel was an upgrade from our original one. Loved the room. All needed amenities. Breakfast was awesome.

2022-04-23The building is brand new, but already looking aged. Seems like maybe the original build was not the best. Our toilet paper holder was already separating from the wall and there was edging missing on the bathroom cabinets. The dining area smelled strongly of mold, so much so that I couldn’t sit there to eat. I likely wouldn’t stay there again.

2022-03-23Nice clean place. On check in very nice people . Next morning go with a friend out there is a car in the hands capped parking in between my car and the next car all with the hands capped plates. Complained to front desk . The lady running the front desk said it was her car because she always parks in the hands capped places because she cant find parking. Very rude of her told her that it was and very much blamed it because she couldnt find parking. That parking is not for employees . She thought it was hers and botched because she was off in a half hour she will move it then. Rude front staff. Was a Woman that was doing this because she couldnt find parking. How rude !!!!!!

2022-01-23We went to Chicago for 3iii International Indian Icon Championship. The organizers had tied up with this hotel for all the competitors to stay. So almost whole of the hotel was booked with us competitors. Great location. Great Service.

2022-04-03Positive: Location, decent hot breakfast, but especially customer service from front desk and maintenance since they addressed our TV issue right away. Always with as smile on their face and checking on us if the issue was fixed. Negative: Pool area can be bigger. However, the 2 times we use it we had a good time.

2022-03-13We stayed here just one night while in the area for a convention at the Donald E Stephens center and to do some shopping at the Chicago Fashion Outlets in Rosemont. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was clean. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, and the free hot breakfast was great too.

2022-02-18Place is decent. Most of the staff is good. The owner sunny shah though is another story. Runs the place like a cheap motel. Doesn’t hire enough staff and drives the shuttle back n forth to airport himself at times.Extremely rude to his staff and to guests.Avoid this place.
