Hobby Lobby in other cities:
Love going here because they always have great sales, although, the last time I went some of the signs for canvases half off were very misleading...I ended up having to pay full price anyway, even though signs throughout the store stated that a certain brand was half off... Apparently there were exceptions for that brand that were NOT mentioned on the advertised flyers...Bummer... Customer is always right, but lucky for them, Im not a Karen...LOL They were friendly (always are) and very apologetic...So I still give 5 stars...
I love the sheer amount of craft supplies here. Everyone is so helpful when asked a question. My only complaint is that prices run a little high on some things. Still, I almost always choose Hobby Lobby as my go-to craft location just because it is truly a one-stop-shop.
This hobby store is huge, you better have a good idea what you are looking for because the selection is vast! I went here for plastic model paints and the variety is staggering, I found what I needed plus a decent priced military model kit. This store has everything, the prices can be a little steep but everything I need is always on sale so its not a problem. Be sure to check for coupons, I found a 40percent off coupon on my phone and saved a bundle! All in all one of my favorite stores to shop at or just browse through!
Excellent location for every type of craft you could ever imagine! They also do Custom Framing in house as well as different workshops for different types of crafting. You can always find a 40% off coupon on their website you can use at any time that will be applied to the highest priced item in your shopping cart while in-store checkout.
I love Hobby Lobby! So much stuff under one roof. Staff is very friendly. Prices are great. There is almost always some sort of 50% off sale on something. Especially Christmas wrap and such. They sell very high quality Christmas wrap supplies. Why people go to other stores and pay as much as 3 times more is beyond me.
Every single time we go into this stupid store its changed. A store that caters to a lot of older people is not set up for their convenience. And as I am handicapped and cannot walk due to a very bad.car accident, they have only ONE wheelchair and its never in the same place and its always full of stuff. In order to use it we have to clean it out and drag it out from wherever we find it. I spend a great deal of money at Hobby Lobby and this is not acceptable treatment of a good loyal customer. There should be at least one motorized scooter so when a handicap person comes to buy items they can get themselves around and not have to depend on someone else to push them around as the wheelchair is not capable of that. This was the super greatest hobby store ever. But as the years go by it has gone down so severely. I hope that some valuable changes will take place soon. I need to shop soon for gifts for my family and friends and I ALWAYS go to HL first.Jo
Manager Dean was very helpful. Found what I needed quickly - and they had more options than last time. Sue, the cashier, was very busy but worked quickly as she gave each customer her undivided attention. Employees have always been friendly and helpful each time Ive been here.
I have always loved this hobby lobby. Great selection, good service, etc. Today was a much different experience and it was enough to make me never go to this store again. Jose, in the framing department, was so incredibly rude and condescending. I was really shocked. One less customer for this store.
Fantastic variety of products for every project imaginable, as well as a treasure trove of home decor items at great prices (especially when 50% off, which youll find in regular rotation). However, this particular store makes poor use of staffing. Granted, I was there between 6-7 PM on this trip, so perhaps Hobby Lobby is thinly staffed as the 8 PM closing time approaches? Those on the floor chatted with one another, ignoring customers even when approached, only stopping their conversation when customers interrupted with an Excuse me, I could use some help finding X. Additionally, despite having several registers, they seem to be frequently staffed with only one cashier and it isnt until the line is 6+ deep that another cashier is called. Ive been to the store during a busy Saturday with just 2 cashiers working and no additional called, despite having 8+ people in each line.
Man this store is just not worthGoing to for most things anymore. Way over priced. Plus everything is scattered through out the store. It made it hard to find what I came in for. Come to find out I could have just went to meijer or Walmart and got what I needed for a third of the coast.Plus the staff just walks around and doesnt even ask you if you need help finding anything. Then when you finally say something yourself. The lady was kind of rude about it.Not my fault you hate your job lady.
I am very frustrated that their aisles are not marked. For example, Paint Supplies, aisle 4. You have to walk the entire store to find something. I was told a year ago that they change the store up often, which is really not true. The front of the store is changed seasonally. I hope they remedy this issue.
Most of the employees are very helpful. But today I dealt with a young woman who cut a picture mat for me. Her personality would be better-suited to the DMV or IRS. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her by asking her to do her job. Otherwise, this is one of the best Hobby Lobbys Ive been to.
Get a manager to manage the store better and see that the line is a 5 day wait and no one is helping instead you have a guy just walking laps around the same 3 isles cluelessly he then approaches the cashier to ask for help she says I dont know and instead of helping reduce the 5 day line wait he just cluelessly walks back to do laps around the isles.
I had ordered some black totes as a raincheck but when I came to ojck them uo I discovered they were too small. The clerk helped me reorder them in a larger size. There was a long line for the cash register and only 2 cashiers working when I checked out but salesclerks were friendly and helpful.
I went in there 10 minutes before they closed i was running with my son. I asked an associate where the planners were he stood there for about 5 min said i dont know let me ask the manager so im looking trying to find one in a hurry and he cones back and says we dont have any so on my way out what do i see planners. I could tell because they were closing soon they were trying to get me out instead of being helpful. Not coming back here willing to drive 25 min to another hobby lobby
I like Hobby lobby due to the large selection of items they carry. Not a fan of the religious ownership, as Overtly Christian religious undertones make it into the products they carry too much-- especially for an art & crafts store. Too many crosses and Jesus things scattered among the art things.
I was in this store had a 40 purchase said Ill take the next in line I ran a customer in line I ran a customer said man Ill take the next in line the guy even said I was and the guy said I wasnt in line..the guy kept goin so I dropped everything Im a American Indian discrimination is live and well

2022-04-10Love Hobby Lobby, except their conservative view on LGBTQ+.Over flowing with decor, but somewhat lacking in candy making supplies, which I was on the hunt for today. Have to move on to Amazon.

2022-03-30I love hobby lobby!! However, this one is not a good one. But Sadly, the closest one to me so I go there because i love the items they sell. However their customer service is HORRIBLE!!! They will have things marked on clearance and then at checkout tell you that the employees made a mistake with pricing and they will not honor THEIR mistakes! One time I went in and grabbed an item. It was $3.99. Somehow the tag fell off with everything I had in the cart. I told the cashier there was another one and went to get it but sadly it was gone. There were 3 sized. Big was $7.99. Medium was $5.99 and small was $3.99. Instead of looking the product up they said it was going to be $5.99 because they just compared it to the other ones. I told them the other was is way bigger and thats why it was more. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager told me that since she has no price she just has to guess. What?? When I asked to talk to the manager I was told that she was her. Yet When I asked for corporate number she said she was not the menager and She was just the register supervisor. So they lied to me about being a manager.. great! Today I went in and had an item that was completely fallen apart. I figured I would try to fix it since it was the last one and it really matched my decor. I asked if I can get a discount since it was clearly broke . The same manager told me she can do 10% off. Ok thats fine. The item was $20.. I get home look at my receipt and she took off 68 cents!!!! This place is a joke. I always have problems with the registers! Get your act together please🤦♀️

2022-03-01LOVE this place. Everything needed for arts, crafts, decor and fabric. Never crowded (but lines have been long a time or two), large store, good deals (some stuff is a little pricey without a sale or discount though). Parking lot is kind of in bad shape but its avoidable.

2021-02-02I feel like Hobby Lobby gets forgotten about at times. Hobby Lobby is great for a lot of different things besides just crafts and things. They have great decorations for the home or even gifts. They always seem to have a sale in one section or another as well, so there are lots of good deals. But if you are a crafty/artistic youll absolutely love Hobby Lobby. Once you go in get ready to spend some time in there. I highly recommend checking out Hobby Lobby. There will be some point in your life this place will come in super handy. Everyone who works in these stores are super nice and helpful as well. Happy shopping!

2020-11-14I LOVE hobby lobby. It’s the only place I can actually get all my crafting needs in one place. Some of it is overpriced, but I also find that they are the cheapest place for lots of other items. You can’t beat their price on dollhouses and miniatures!I’m giving them a 2 start rating simply becausegoing through checkout is an absolute nightmare. People usually buy a lot of stuff at a time from Hob Lob, but the stores still insist on typing every item number into the system instead of scanning it in. They scan the coupons, so I’m not sure why they don’t just use barcode scanners like everywhere else. It is also not uncommon for me to have to explain which items are on sale and which are not to the cashier. Making sure you pay the proper price for your items isn’t something I want to deal with.Because of all of this, the lines take FOREVER to get through. I usually wait in line for no less than 10-15 minutes each time I’m there. They desperately need to catch up with the times and reduce some stress off of the employees by implementing newer technology.
