If youre from the area, this is a must see museum. My family and I tried the escape game and it exceeded my expectations! You are actually escaping from the jail cells from years ago. Very fun and would recommend to anyone. Our tour guide was knowledgable and had a great sense of humor.

Charlies body hasnt been here for over 90 years but that dont mean his spirit didnt still hang around.... Franklin county jail rocks!!! Just $4 dollars to go in and see the place.... Enjoy!!!
Do listen to the video first - we didnt and didnt catch the George Harrison connection until the guide explained it to us! Jail cells very spooky - a must see.

If passing through Benton and you have an hour to kill, this is a must see. Some cool, interesting history in this little town.

2019-06-09We were on a road trip and my friend and I stopped by. This was a great experience for our kids and a lot of neat things to see. I had always past it by on my trips. I am so glad we stopped to see it this go around.

2019-08-15Very interesting museum. Its a self guided tour and you can take all the time you need. There is a lot of reading involved and so many pictures and artifacts. Take your time and enjoy!

2022-05-29We drove an hour to see museum on Saturday and on site and doors said they are open from 10am to 3pm but we found locked doors. If you planning to visit try to call ( if anybody answer the phone). Very disappointed.

2021-06-27The lady who was volunteering today when we visited was so kind, personable, and knowledgeable. She made our (first time) visit all the more enjoyable! Well definitely return when were back in the area! And well be sure to tell people how much we enjoyed our visit!

2021-08-10So interesting! And awesome to actually be able to feel the real history of the building and be a part of where the actual jail was. Very informational and definitely worth a quick detour stop. Highly Recommend!
