What a great place to help a great cause. I just stopped to look around and wound up buying a used air tool, and some hardware. The prices are very low and the list of building items (doors, lamps, and floor tile) is very good for small quantities. So bring your truck and some cash for your next DUY project and beat the costs of the big box stores. Repurpose / reuse! Keep the savings!!!
I rated Habitat a 5 because you never know what you will find and at a good price. Sometimes there are decent antiques. Pretty good selection of used books. I bought a nice used bicycle there. But mainly I have found good upgrades for the rental houses. There are lots of used furniture too. Dont forget its a great place to donate items when doing a remodeling job at your home. They accept cabinets, tubs, sinks, storm doors, windows, etc.
Will never be back. Visited this store and found a nice couch was only 180$ but when I brought it back to my home I noticed right before I got into my apartment it was full of BED BUGS I didn’t have the time or energy to put it back on the truck and I pushed it to the dumpster. I took pictures of this and went back to the store. He gave me a full refund and said his team is supposed to check for those kind of things but didn’t. Not sure why they wouldn’t do that considering bed bugs are extremely expensive to get rid of. I’m glad I noticed before I moved this atrocity into my apartment. Will never be back and spend the extra money for a new couch it’s worth it.
I have been shopping at habitat for years, the most amazing experience is when I was opening my store I found wall and floor paint, doors, wall coverings and much more. The staff there is wonderful, understanding and caring, I always check habitat first before going else where and you should too..to all the staff keep safe and may God keep on blessing you and your family 💗👍🏼🙏🙏
I called the beginning of May for a free pick up of some mattresses and a bed frame. The lady told me that my pick up would be May 31st and to have my items outside on the curbside the night before. I did as I was told and no one ever showed up on the schedule day. I then called 30 times on Saturday and no one answered the phone. First thing Monday morning I called and the lady told me she would pass my information on to her supervisor. The supervisor never called so I called back Tuesday morning and another lady told me she would pass my information on to someone else again. Someone called who was not the supervisor advising me that the delivery guys picked up my items already and to stop calling. I informed them that the items was still sitting outside in my front yard. They argued with me up and down. Very unprofessional and very rude!!! I will advise NO ONE to ever call them for ANYTHING!! so much for 6 items a year for a free pick up!!!
One of my favorite stores in Springfield they offer you the chance to recycle items and find items to recycle. The proceeds go to help Habitat for Humanity and what a great local group we have in Springfield. The store is clean well laid-out it is not a junk store or flea market looking place it is a recycle place and it is easy to find things they are sorted and well-located easy to get to and you never know whats there until you get there. We bought my last countertops there they were in perfect shape and still look wonderful. If youre looking to make a donation or find that special something that you cant find anywhere else check out the restore.Dont forget to click like if the review helps
The Habitat Stores new location is a far cry better than its old location on the far NW side of town. More room and more items for sale. I think their prices are a little higher than they were before they moved to the new site, but just keep in mind that they are trying to raise money for building new houses, not just selling cheap stuff. You are contributing to a good cause and still getting items for less than retail. Also a good place to look for seasonal craft items and take their seasonal crafting classes offered by volunteers.
My 1st post about a month ago stated ( prices a little high and stock not very good) and a 2 star rating.....so my wife and I went back today looking for a table top ..I started speaking with the manager about my review....after our discussion I would like to revise what I posted ....I was comparing Springfield Habitat to St. Louis Habitat on there stock and thats not a fare comparison...so I would say for this store here in Springfield its pretty good and changes daily...and on the prices the manager treated me very fair on our purchase....thank you......and we will be back....
This is the home of the color wheel which means even bigger savings. Each week the colored price tags determine the discount. They have a chart you can carry around so you know which color is what. It is regular price, 25% off, 50 % off or 75% off depending They have household goods, books, furniture, flooring, paint, lighting, doors, windows and more. Most of it is donated stuff with some new. The sales benefit the home builders program.
A place where you can find something you have been looking for and then some. Prices are very fair. Staff is friendly and ready to help. There is anything from bid items like stoves, beds, garden equipment, pvc pipes, etc to books, knick knacks, dishes, curtains, you name it.

2022-03-20Many, many, many options ! On my visit I accidentally broke a glass table when one of the legs gave way out on the shelf. They were immediately responsive and polite about it.. all couches and love seats are great condition and good affordable prices.

2022-04-13I donate a lot of furniture and construction materials here. Great service! Lots of help unloading the truck and trailer. Super friendly here! The only place I donate items to. The guys in the donation dock in the back are awesome-sauce! I tell everyone if I know they are donating anything or are looking for a good deal to go to this place.

2019-08-30Always a great place to find all types of items. If you are renovating your home, and would like to do so with low cost or trying to save some money, you should stop and see what they have to offer! Even if youre not worried about the cost I still highly recommend checking them out!! The prices are great and theres always a sale on many(most all) items!! The sale go off of a color chart and the start at 25%off,to 50%,&then 75%off. When you walk in you will always be greeted and 95% of the time the cashier who greets you will also hand you the savings chart!! Ive never had any issues with any of the staff they all seem to be pleased to help and to try and answer your questions. This is the 2nd house we have renovated and have been able to find many items at VERY LOW cost! The best part is that your also helping others out when you shop with them as well. They go out of their way to put roofs over the less fortunates heads which in return helps keep children off the street,in shelters, or in a foster system sometimes! Consider this when you are having thoughts of buying items! On the other hand of things they are also a great place to donate items and if you call they will even come out to your place and pick the items up for free!! This too also helps others out immensely!!
