This store became much better than 5 years ago. Quality, prices and the service are the best in area for the broad number of items, including flowers, beer, meat, vegetables, etc.
Had everything I was looking for. When I asked where safety pins were, a staff member took me right to them instead of letting me wander aimlessly.
I found the item I wanted there at a very good price. Checkout was fast and easy at the self checkout.
Always my go to for mission critical groceries. One thing I love is that they have an aisle “legend/map” at the end of most aisles. That way I’m not wandering looking for something.
Mark in the Liquor was great. He kindly retrieved a bottle of bourbon for me that was available in the display case.
Had almost everything I wanted on my shopping list. Some prices a bit higher than Wal-Mart, but a lot more pleasant shopping experience. Staff helpful in finding items, and cashier accommodated me by calling out each items price. Very pleasant.
Went to store to buy cream cheese on sale for $1.99, was there at 9:30 a.m. first day of sale, AND JEWEL WAS OUT OF STOCK! I went to Aldi and got cream cheese for $1.29 regular price. Goodbye Jewel.

I was just able to get the Johnson & Johnson one-shot Covid-19 Vaccine on 05-02-2021. The pharmacist said anyone extra is welcome to come before 4:00pm today, without an appointment, as he has several available. 🪁
The people that work in the bakery at this location have terrible customer service. They’ll ignore you & when you kindly ask for help will then snap at you. I’ve unfortunately had this experience every time I’m here. Next time I’ll go back to the Jewel on Ogden/Aurora where they’re lovely in the bakery.
This Jewel NEEDS new management. The employees are disinterested in providing customer service. The produce department often times has employees stocking produce who are in the way of people trying to shop and unhelpful. I tried to rent a carpet cleaner. The 1st one given to me was filthy. The second one did not have any suction. It dispersed the cleanser ad water and nothing else. When I went to return it for a refund, no one seemed to care it was useless. I am concerned it was not taken out of rotation for someone else to rent. I am frustrated by the complete lack of concern for treating customers as a valued. Whenever I need to go to the customer service desk, it takes quite a long time for anyone to help me. I also noticed on my last trip that all the Oil of Olay products were empty boxes on the shelf. I would not waste my time waiting for someone to decide to help me to buy a product that should be available on the shelf.
The Associates here are always so helpful and polite! Im not familiar with the locations of items so the extra long isles are frustrating. The great Staff make up for it, tho!
Nice clean store...but sanitizer wipes werent available to wipe off cart. Also, dont offer deals that force me to buy 5 or 3 of an item to get the advertised price
I do weekly grocery shopping here. Staffs are pretty kind. Sometimes green vegetables are not quite in good shapes. Some cashiers didn’t care if a price marking was wrong. Or some cashiers were not even looking at a customer and talking like a robot.

Self checkouts are the best around. Hand held scanners provided eliminates need to remove heavy items from cart.
Grocery Shopping at store rarely with Marianos. Prices are fair and variety is average. Best and busiest Pharmacy in town. Patricia lead lady assisted us for years and Kevin the young gentleman is a true gem for pharmacy!!! Great job
I like this Jewel. Come often and they have great deals sometimes and my kids love coming for a cookie and riding around in the cool carts (i.e. fire truck, race car, etc.). All Jewels should have these carts, but dont. It makes it more enjoyable to grocery shop with kids.
I have to say I think this is probably the best Jewel-Osco around this area. They typically have what I need and produce is definitely the best one for the Jewel-Osco in this area as well. The meat selection has decreased and they always have a abundance of chicken. They do have a great bakery, but I wish they would incorporate more sugar free bakery items. They are very limited there. The staff is helpful and always a clean store.

Bright lighting! No bar. I like Jewels atmosphere. Wish they had more organic produce. But other than that, they have a broad selection of organic packaged foods as well as gluten-free goods.
This is my favorite Jewel in the area. I go a bit out of my way to go to it. Better prices than any of the other Jewels... and, I have 6 to choose from. The lay out of the store is awesome... great Lightning helps too for a nice environment. I also know if I cannot find what I want.....75th street Market Meadows Jewel has it. I can talk about a few other cool things about THIS Jewel, but Ill leave that for another conversation
The older guy who works in the alcohol department in the evening, gave me the creeps. His affect was flat and odd and he continued to stare at me, as if he was watching to make sure I didnt steal anything, or wanted to cut me up in pieces. Maybe I watch too many crime shows?Im sure people have stolen alcohol from this store before, but I am not one of them and never will be. Dont treat your customers like they are out to steal the products, just because they are browsing. I understand generally watching for theft, but the over-the-top creepy stare, while quietly standing about 8 feet from me, hurried my decision of what to purchase; I grabbed my selection and quickly move to the other side of the store for other shopping, thankfully away from him and perhaps his hidden chain saw.
Been around since the late 70s. Close by. Large self check so you can zip in and out with a quick shopping trip
Clean store and outstanding service
Great location and selection of groceries. Its always kept clean and tidy. They have great sales and prices are pretty competitive. Very rarely do I need to go anywhere else, always fun to shop at!
The woman who was the pharmacist, at night, on 2/4 was beyond rude. Made me wait almost 45 minutes because she needed to speak to my doctor regarding my refill...she could clearly see that I have always used jewel to fill my prescriptions, however, she demanded talking to my doctor, at 9 at night. And she was shocked to find out my doctor was asleep, and then tried to use the excuse that my doctor was half asleep and couldn’t take what he was telling her seriously because he wasn’t in the “right state of mind.” THEN, she says that the pharmacy had already refilled their maximum (per day) on my specific medication, and that she wouldn’t be able to refill it until the following day. Best part, as I’m walking out, and older gentlemen approaches me and said that him and his wife have had issues with this pharmacist before and that they would never recommend coming here because of the way they treat their customers/patients...excuse after excuse. Avoid at all cost.
Too few and far between. Grew up going to Jewel-Osco, when Osco would be across the street from the Jewel until they merged.This location is the perfect size in my opinion. It’s located at the northwest corner of Maple/Chicago and Rte.53. Plenty of accesible parking. Also located nearby are a Walgreens, Starbucks, gas stations, bank, Dunkin donuts and more.This is my go to place on my way to my sisters house and I need to pick up last minute items or a request is made. The store is impeccable, staff very friendly, and shelves are well stocked. They offer to help you to your car and at cash out the employees make eye contact, smile, and sometimes offer polite conversation. Very kind of them.Overall this location is convenient and always plenty of items in stock, and some really great sales!!! You won’t be disappointed.
Was there yesterday and needed help finding baby back ribs in your meat department. The young man behind the counter was rude and disinterested in helping me and told me a vague answer on where to find them. I ended up buying the wrong thing too. Terrible customer service.
We just purchased a rotisserie Chicken breast from the deli. It was so dried out it was inedible. Was it even from today ? You need to improve your quality control!
Overpriced groceries, substandard produce, but the do have a nice salad and hot bar. I think its available until 9:00. Dont go too late or all the food starts to get old and theyre not going to refresh it towards the end.
I was there to get my first vaccine. The pharmacist was friendly, and explained the side effects and what I should do to reduce the side effects.
Jewel has had to up their game with their product selections since competition from other chains. One star for having only 1 checkout line open. At least 7 customers waiting in the single checkout line. Jewel is only a last resort because of this single checkout line problem.
Sale items offer great value. Convenient location and efficient customer service.
This is my second favorite grocery store to visit. The staff is friendly and remembers me, and Ive never had difficulties finding what Im looking for, or with product being out. It only loses a point because of the existence of Caseys on Washington and Gartner.
The prices are surprisingly affordable. I dont normally shop here but I ran in to grab something I had forgot. I wish they had more of a natural/ organic section. There is an okay amount of organic produce but not enough to do my full shopping trip here.
The juice department where they make the juice for you theres a guy working there that has white long Hair About 60 years old,dont ever ask him to do any juice for you he gives you every excuse possible ,not to do it , The sushi and the Deli section only stare at you until you buy and then when You ask a question you got the same look of a dead stare looking bored but when you tell them you want it , a slight crack of the cheek Appears but no teeth, Then they got the senior citizens working the Cook chicken and French fries section looking like theyre about to pass out instead of having them on the Cash registers they got them In the Hot oil pit, If you ask for a store manager ,good luck you might catch them on the golf course but not at this time especially with the snow.Final noteIf you Are thinking that your life is Suicidal go over to This up lifting store and look at the employs and you will feel like You are Having a pretty good life.
This short cool kid named Jake helped me a lot around the store he even went out of his way to get me stuff I needed this man deserves a raise. We need more people like him.
For the most part you are always able to find what you are looking for at this Jewel. Times you should avoid are Tuesday when they are restocking, any day between 4 and 6, traffic is awful or Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon.
Deli refused to make fresh chicken tenders and the sample they gave me was gross. They claimed they were made 30 minutes ago but that is impossible. They tasted old.
Expensive and normally being a meijer shopper Im reminded of how little produce they have by comparison. I should know better. Cashier was friendly. Better than grocery shopping at walmart though ;)
Very nice, upscale Jewel location. The store is very large and has more items that you dont typically find. Many specialty items for various diet types.
Helpful employees that can find anything you are looking for. Store is laid out nicely and it is easy to find what you are looking for. Checkout was easy as they have many lanes open.
This store has that chicken I enjoyed so much plus I love checking their plants and flowers section.
Prices are far too high. Go across the street to Marianos if you want your best bang for your buck! Plus Marianos has wonderful customer-service.

They are truly trying to fight off Marianos that opened up in front. The staff are very friendly and definitely try to help you out as much as they can. It still looks a bit old but pricing is a plus.

Felt manipulated to buy fake whipped cream in the can bc there were lotsa cans of whipped topping everywhere one wd look for whipped cream...ok jewel...I can get what I want in every other store around. Booo!

The store opens at 6am on Saturday...I got there at 6:05 and must say that this was the most relaxed shopping experience ever. People were scarce but friendly and no line at the one open register.
9:45 on a Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend and the produce department had taken all the strawberries and blueberries off display. One cashier and nobody to ask for help.
I have been living in Naperville IL 13 year and Im 3miles. Away jewel food store and Osco it my neighbor hood store.
Very nice and clean! Come to this Jewel because we dislike the Jewel by our home (outdated needs upgrade like others). Always very nice workers in every department.
Hot food bar is one of my go-tos. Also the salad bar. Have had better luck there than Marianos. Theirs is much better than those at the Jewels at 95th/59 and Ogden/Aurora. Thats my hot food bar report for now.
Overall I love this store, but Monday morning lots of shelf stocking. And employees and vendors ignore the aisle directions

The website indicates open 24 hours. That is incorrect. That resulted in my waiting in the car for an hour for it to open. It did not make sense to go home and try again later.Clerk indicated that has been this way for a couple of months. So much for your website.

Some prices and special items are competitively priced and others are better at Meijer or Walmart. People are generally friendly and helpful.

2022-02-05Our go-to food store. They have what we want/need and is conveniently located. The online ordering and curbside pickup have been a top -notch service during the pandemic. Ordering is easy via web, easy to see on my phone and check-in for pickup takes just a few minutes. The staffers that do the shopping and roll out the cart are always friendly and attentiveWhile delivery services have their advantages, I prefer knowing the store I shop from will have the brands that I like. Jewel has done their homework well.

2022-05-16We have had a pleasant experience with this grocery store. This is a typical grocery having all regular features. Also, very clean, well-organized grocery chain with quality products it is big and great selection of products like cleaning products, snacks, baking products, dry products, meat and fish, amazing variety of produce and canned goods. Wide wine selection. Staff are very friendly. The customer service is amazing especially few of their cashiers. They were able to help me find the things I needed easily. Prices are reasonable! Overall a good experience. I would come here again.

2022-05-21I prefer it over Marianos. Prices are much better. Selection the same but less pretentious. People are friendly, weird to say that such a large place feels like the little neighborhood grocery store. I see the same people working registers and bagging and they are all friendly.

2022-01-29The pharmacy is fantastic!!! I currently dont have insurance and was going to pay $523 for a prescription that I needed. The pharmacist told me about a one time refill for free program with the drug manufacturer to try. It worked, they are incredible! Ive used other pharmacies and never have they recommended ways to save money. I cant say enough about this Osco pharmacy!

2022-03-16There were 7 people in line to check out on Sunday night with only 1 cashier! There happened to be another Jewel employee standing in an aisle over (looking away from the customers and constantly checking his watch). When I asked him to open another register, he said that it was getting too late (about 8pm) to open another register! He eventually opened the register.This is why I usually avoid your store and shop at other Jewels in Naperville.
