I refuse to get my hair cut from Ashley, the last time I was there, she did a terrible job on my hair. My wife had to fix it when I got home and the person who cut my hair recently asked me if I got a mullet. Evidently my tip was not enough for her.

Grandson wont go anywhere else with this covid19 the metro center location followed the guidelines and was well organized with it we checked in online and they called us and let us know to start heading there way that by the time we arrived it would be time for his cut thank you to everyone for making it easy and safe
To THINK this lady has been doing hair for 20 years like she stated. I went in for an inverted bob. I showed her my previous layers and asked for her to guide/follow that length, and when asked how short, I stated NOT TOO SHORT. By the time she told me to lift my head she already took all the length off.This is by far the WORST hair cut Ive ever received, my hair is so short. There is so many uneven layers, and im not sure why there are any layers when I asked for an inverted bob? Its very chunky and choppy and uneven in the back. Its like a child cut my hair.... None of it makes sense! Its also so short I cant pull it back to try and cover this mess she created. And i unfortunately tipped her. Will never be going back to great clips. I will be doing my own hair from now on!!
They obviously do not know how to cut women’s hair. I had my 2 daughters hair cut this evening and my one daughters hair looks like a hack job. The other daughters looks ok but not anything close to what I wanted. Just 10000% dissatisfied customer I am just so upset because I wanted my girls to have nice haircuts for school and now they look like Barbie dolls who got haircuts from 5 year olds. I’m just so upset about this. I don’t expect a refund and I definitely do not want a free haircut from there. I just don’t think those women should be cutting women’s hair at all. I just keep looking at my daughters and feel so terrible for taking them to that place. Just a complete travesty.
I got a great haircut here. The girl who cut my hair, I think her name was Angie, she did a wonderful job. I think she said she was filling if from the Pekin Store. Very courteous and very professional. Anyhow, I did the online check in which saved me some time and the wait was minimal. I found an online coupon which made it even better.!! I will go back, for sure!
I was a walk in and they seated me right away. The result wasn’t amazing but the lady who cut my hair was very knowledgeable and did exactly what I was asking for. Quick, cheap, and friendly service.
Just wants a simple cut. I asked for her to go just above my shoulders but NOT higher than my chin. Also asked for layers as in short layers and provided a photo in resemblance of what I wanted. The photo I used showed the cut to be straight across and not rounded at the ends. My hair was rounded at the bottom which I HATE my hair was also cut about 3 inches shorter than I wanted. I told her I have a natural curl to my hair as well which means my hair needed that extra length that ended up being chopped... Ill never go back there. I wanted to cry by the time I got home....

Well my first time with them this afternoon. I saw in their site that they do mens haircut but i doubt after todays experience. Its not even clean cut. The lady who did it was so nice though. My 1 star goes to her.
Great place, friendly staff, and they took safety very seriously during the pandemic. I really appreciate their part on doing things correctly. Plus their hair cut was awesome as usual m, never under the expectations.

Do you know how hard it is to find someone who can give you a great haircut?? I needed a haircut before heading out of town and had received a coupon for reasonable price at Great Clips. I chose the one in the Metro Center on N University Blvd. I purposely did a walk-in to see how long the wait would be. There were several customers there and 3 hair dressers. I asked how long the wait would be and the woman said not long at all, just one ahead of you. The wait was just over 5 minutes. Another short young lady called my name. She took her time to exam my hair, ask several germane questions about length and style and what I was looking for. It was clear from the start, she cared and that the task before her was her point of concentration. Soft spoken, she didnt push the normal chitchat but engaged in our conversation which was a pleasant change from past experience. She didnt dillydally, but took the time to give me EXACTLY what I was looking for in a good haircut. Great Clips, you have a real professional there! A rare gem who clearly seeks to know and give customers what they seek with a quiet and easy going personality. Thanks for one of the two or three best experiences in 63 years of the normally dreaded experience of getting a haircut!

My haircut was way shorter than what I asked for. And it was also uneven.
Our family was passing through Peoria and we needed to get haircuts for our two kids (girl age 7 and boy age 10) and myself. We each had a different stylist.The worst was the one who cut my daughters hair. She has long hair and just needed a trim. My wife specifically said about 3 inches. We looked over and saw that she had taken 8 inches off. Not only that, she had missed quite a few places. It was terrible.The stylist who cut my sons hair also had trouble. She took about 45 minutes and apparently had problems. She kept cutting it shorter trying to fix it. Eventually another stylist came over to help fix it.So far Im okay with my haircut, but the stylist did not even try to get any of the hair off of my face. Usually they use a blow dryer or a soft brush. She wasnt going to trim my neck either if I hadnt asked.It has been a long time since I went to a Great Clips, and today reminded me why.

So I went in yesterday and got a simple cut and the lady didn’t even take the time to blend my sides to the top of my head. It’s quite simple, a one on the sides and a two on the top. I even called her out on it and she said that she did blend it. Once I got home my wife confirmed that she had not blended it so I had to then fix my own haircut. Normally, Great Clips is an okay place to go but I will probably not be going back.
Really over priced 50$ for two boys hair cuts we have been taking our kids here for years and and will not be going back
Took adult son to get a haircut as a walk-in the wait was less than some places where weve had appointments, translation, he got in before he could even get seated. Got his cut & even got a coupon with his receipt for $ off his next cut within about 6-7 wks.Hes happy & hes looking good again.

Nine times out of ten I get a good haircut because they record in the computer how I like my haircut. However, its not consistent with every stylist. I really appreciate the coupons that we get in the mail, and that almost always motivates me to come in. Weve never had a bad experience with the staff, either.
I went the day before Thanksgiving, right when they opened up. The lady who cut my hair was a pro, and very nice to talk to. I will be back. Consistency is key with a place like this, and Ill find out how she does with my next cut.
I just needed a haircut. When I left, the hair on the left side was trimmed up over my ears, on the right side I had hair longer than my ear and the hair on top of my ear would stretch around to my eyebrows. Im afraid to even check the rest of it after I get home

The shop was clean, the people friendly, and the wait nearly non-existent. The overall experience I had while at Great Clips was very agreeable and I will definitely be giving them my business from here on out.I have blonde hair which can be very difficult to cut (shear marks show up very easily and most stylists end up making my head look like a light bulb). Lacie had the experience and training necessary to make my hair look great.
Every time I go I am happy with the service and the cut. I especially love the Great Clip application on my smartphone. The app lets me know what the wait time is for all the locations, if i need a short notice haircut and Im going to walk-in. I just check-in and Im already on the waiting list. By the time I get there, they are ready for me. The stylist puts notes about my haircuts so the next stylist i get has an idea of what I like. I will have to say, every time I go to the metro center, I request Angela Vargas! She is very passionate about her art as a stylist and cares about the service by taking the time to make sure I am satisfied. Her personality is just as good as her cuts, which makes my ordinary haircut more extraordinary!

Stylist did not do his usual good cut. If you dont have access to the internet, you have to wait in line for your turn. The person answering the phone would not enter me in the system, told me I would have to wait in line.

Ive had two haircuts, so far, at Great Clips / Metro Centre and both have worked out very well. What I appreciate most is that a reasonable period of time was taken to make sure all turned out fine. Thank you Morgan. Ill be back.

I have been here about 5 or 6 times & have been and remain continually impressed. Prompt, Friendly & Courteous greeting with usually less than 15 minutes wait time. Then begins a Competent and Thorough Trim of Hair, Neck, Sideburns & Eyebrows. All while pleasant conversation & without the usual salon gossip going on. Holly is Brilliant, Bubbly & Terrific At Hair Artistry... thus I routinely request Holly. Others are quite skilled as well, I guess I am just a regular with Holly. My Kiddo and pre-wife Felecity come here as well. Give Great Clips A Go... I have not met anyone disappointed yet. Plus, they have a check-in app that saved me loads of wait times.
From last one year i’m one of the regular customer for this location.First time once i went here for the hair cut they just left some hair on my backside which looks so weird in office and after two days i went back with the issue and one lady nicely taken care and did not charge me any money and i given her tip too that’s one time mistake so i was just let it go BUT, I had very bad experience second time yesterday. i have some seminar coming up this week and thought of cutting my hair especially sides that i was told to one lady that only take care of my sides and whenever there is odd ones just make it even but she said ok and started cutting the way she thought and she almost cut everytig on top also. I was telling her to make just even on top instead she just followed her own idea to make it very less length and suddenly i doubted her and asked her that than she stopped immediately and said my haircut was done. I felt very very bad and my hair looks very short length now#My confidence sucks because of this silly mistake for seminar #better stay away from this place

The lady that did my perm, did an okay job. I felt bad because I had kept them there late, due to having very thick hair but she did a terrible job cutting my hair and there were some curls that you could tell were rolled funny because of how they turned out.

2022-02-06Excellent service. Excellent care for my daughters haircut. Genuine care and discussion for the questions my daughter and I asked. We went in like 20 minutes before they closed and you would not know it. We were treated wonderfully. I did not get the name of the young lady who cut my daughters hair, but she was phenomenal.

2022-06-23Every time I go there I have to watch the person cutting my hair to make sure I dont get a terrible haircut. I try to get the same haircut every time but there is no consistency in the way they record the haircut I get. The last time I told the stylist what I wanted her to do and she proceeded to totally get the job wrong. I have to wear a hat to cover the awful way my hair looks till it grows out..

2022-05-15Book online to avoid waiting. This branch is little busier than the other locations in the city. Everything is as you’d expect from a typical Great Clips. As of May 2022, mens haircut is $17 before tips.

2022-04-24The person cutting my hair was really mad about something and cut my hair in less than 5 minutes. The four people getting their hair cut in front of me also got the assembly line treatment. Look elsewhere for a quality hair cut
